CHAPTER WARNING: BAD SNAP EMERGING, SOMEWHAT GRAPHIC.
Hermione sighed. It had been an emotional day. She looked up to Severus and they started back. She didn't want to apparate again. Her stomach couldn't take it. It was a long walk back to Hogwarts, but the sun was shining, and the wind was warm, and they rested often. It felt good to have this job done. She would take a day or two to rest and then inform the press that the memorial was finished, and a ceremony would take place on the following Saturday. She would invite everyone who wanted to come and hope that there would be enough room for them. Hermione would also coordinate with Kingsley for security. She doubted any Death Eater left would dare show their face. The crowd would tear them to pieces.
At last, they reached the doors of Hogwarts. It was odd having the place all to themselves except for the house elves. One greeted them at the door. "Missus Hermione, Missus Ginevra is here to see you."
Despite having just walked the two miles back to Hogwarts, Hermione was excited to see her. She met them in the foyer with hugs. "Ginny! I'm so happy to see you. How are Arthur and George and Fleur?"
Ginny was all bubbles as usual. She even hugged a very stiff Severus. "They are doing well. Another few weeks and they should be back to the burrow. Poppy thought it best that they stay at Grimmauld place. She could keep an eye on their injuries better. With Mum, Fred and Ron gone, well, the place is a bit quiet. They need to be around people. Fleur is doing better. We talk often and she's getting big."
"I'm glad to hear they are doing well Ginny. We were just going to have lunch would you like to join us?"
Severus was extremely uncomfortable with the two of them chattering like schoolgirls. Hermione insisted that he stay, so he sat and watched them catch up as they ate. Hermione told her all about the work they had done and the monument. Ginny really wanted to see it all, but Hermione was too tired to trek back. "Will you show it to her Severus? Please. It's beautiful and I'm so very proud of all the work that went into it."
Severus did not want to be alone with Ginevra. But he looked into Hermione's pleading eyes and couldn't deny her request. "Very well love. If you want me to." He looked at his former slave's face and the silly smile she had on it. "This way." He led her to the gates and pointed to the location. "Do you see the dip in the ridge across the lake, and the bare patch of rock? That is our destination. Shall I meet you there?"
The formality of his address made her laugh. "Yes, thank you."
They appeared on the other side of the lake and Ginny was astounded. "Oh Snape. It's beautiful. Who wrote the poem?"
Severus was pleased she was so appreciative. "It's an anonymous author."
"All the work this must have been. How long did it take you to complete it?"
Severus grinned again. "Approximately seven hours."
Ginny was stunned. "Seven hours?! How many men did you have?"
"It was just me."
Ginny grew suspicious and her voice dropped its sparkle. "What do you mean, just you? This should have taken half a dozen men a week to complete."
Severus looked Ginny up and down with his barely there grin. "Yes. But then most wizards don't have this." He pulled the Elder Wand from his sleeve. Ginny's eyes grew wide and she back away from him as if he were on fire.
"How did you get that abomination? Why didn't it die with Him?"
The fear he felt radiate off her was scintillating. What was it with these witches? Didn't they know a good thing when they saw it? "This wand was created by a manifestation of death himself and like him, it is immortal. Kingsley Shacklebolt found it at the site of Voldemort's demise. The wand answered to me and now it is mine. As you can see, it has great power. Enough to change our world." He twirled it in his hand like a circus act.
The odd shine in his eyes reminded her of another evil bastard. "Change our world? Don't you think enough change has happened? Don't you see those graves? We've just finished a war where a lot of good people died fighting the last despot who wanted to change our world. My mother and three brothers among them. Change shouldn't come on the end of a wand. It has to come from the hearts of its people in mutual agreement. They will make the change if it's right. Please Severus. That wand is darkness. For your own sake. Cast it away. Or better yet, return it to Dumbledore and don't look back."
Severus was furious. "Give up all this power and don't look back? Is that all you have to say?" Severus came very close to her and held her chin a bit tightly. "But I want you to look back." His voice was alien, slow and hypnotic. "Don't you remember the last time I touched you? You were my slave and naked and begging in my bed every night. Your favorite was being bound to my bed and taken by force. Do you remember the taste of my cock in your mouth as I pumped my cum down your throat? It's a pity we never had that threesome with Hermione I'd planned. You would love her screams as much as I do. Let's go back now and both of us take her. It'll be a contest. We'll see if she can swallow as well as you can. You know you want to." His other hand smoothed her cheek to her jawline, his eyes cold and unfeeling as a shark.
Ginny took her chance and grabbed the Elder Wand from his sleeve, throwing it quickly into the lake as it burned her hand. Severus was furious and went to chase after it. But Ginny was determined and tackled him to the ground. They fought for position and Ginny, of course, landed on her back. She grabbed his coat and held on tight despite the hardness pressing against her thigh and his aggressive hands tugging at her clothes. She locked her leg around his own to hold him as still as possible.
After a few minutes of struggle, it was as if Severus was waking from a dream. "Ginevra? What….? What are we doing? Why are we on the ground?"
Ginny huffed. "If you're not sure, then why don't you get off of me?"
Severus immediately got up and held a hand down for her. She took it with one, and slapped him hard across the face with the other. He was bemused by her assault. "Number one! Don't ever touch me again! Number two. How much do you remember about the conversation we just had? And number three. You're going to tell Hermione what you've done, or I will.
Severus' legs gave out from under him, and he sat on a bench insensible, a hand on his stinging cheek. "To answer your demands. I was going to broach the subject of our past relationship while we were here alone. Hermione and I are getting married, and you and I can no longer be intimate. Therefore, I will never, touch you again. As for our conversation, you asked me where the poem came from, and I told you it was anonymous. And third, why would Hermione care?"
Ginny was more frightened now than before. It was clear the wand had great power, but it also corrupted its user. "You don't remember telling me that you wanted to shove your cock down my throat?"
Severus' eyes went wide and he stumbled away from her backwards, landing on the ground. "NO! NO! I did not say that. Why would you want me to tell Hermione I said that? Why are you doing this?" He was near panic at the thought that Ginevra would betray him in such a way.
Ginny came to him calm and gentle and knelt in front of him. "Because you just did, but you don't remember. You must believe me Severus. It's the Elder Wand. It took over and you became someone else. You've only returned because I threw it away. Check your sleeve if you don't believe me."
Severus hurriedly checked his sleeve. It was gone. An anxiety attack struck him hard and he suddenly couldn't breathe. He had to have it back. NOW. He began to shake and his face twisted into something nightmarish. "WHERE IS IT?" He looked around the sight but couldn't find it in the grass. He stood up. "Accio wand!"
The wand rose from the depths and flew towards his hand, but Ginny wasn't a chaser on the quidditch team for nothing. She snatched it out of the air and then screamed in pain. She took her coat and wrapped the wand in it. "NO! If you touch it again, it will only have more control over you. For you, but more for my friend, this has to go!" Ginny turned in apparition and disappeared.
