A/N: Well I am back, Sorry for the long break. So without further time Chapter 53: Grimm Revelations

(4/22/22 note) This is not a new chapter of the story, that is Chapter 56. I added 5 chapters to the start of the story and that caused an offset.

Chapter 53: Grimm Revelations

After that pulse that wrenched the galaxy passed the skies of Tython, the woman formerly known as Karlile White had begun walking the halls as the memories of her new life as a Jedi flooding her mind. The most prominent figure of those memories was Surik or Summer, she had met her once before on Remnant before her old master banished her to this realm. As she walked her limbs wore heavy on her, her arm ached with the pain of its severance. She remembered that day. The pain of that loss filled her body with hatred as she remembered the daughter of the sow that was Surik. Though there was one more thing she lost that day, and that was her sight. Her eyes were a scarred wreck but thanks to Karlile she knew how to used the force to see without thinking about it. A skill that put a smirk on her face, as she didn't have to 'learn it'.

She cringed as she felt the pain of the person she was on Tython tried to well up inside her. Her morals and pure heart were disgusting to the woman she was before Karlile, Cinder felt like that damned white clad Jedi made her a mockery of who she once was. This insult would not go unpunished by her hands but she knew that she would not be able to act anytime soon. Looking around with the sight of the force, she saw the bright halls of the temple and she knew she was out of place, so there was still use of Karlile and her memories, thankfully it gave her something to feed off of, to fuel her hatred as that girl was not her.

As she walked the halls she knew she would need allies. Surik was not an option for her, though Satele and another seemed in her mind based on the memories of her former-self seemed to be quite interesting possibilities. The scorned faunus. As she remembered her return, the hatred, and vitriol that filled that particular Jedi a smirk crept on her face, as she wanted to laugh, but her knowledge and common sense told her that would not be a good idea. No, she needed to corrupt her to bring her to her side, the dark side.

Sun, still troubled by Karlile, Sun was walking through the halls trying to find Surik, he needed to inform her about his suspicions. As he ran through the halls the wave from Nar Shaddaa stunned the new Jedi. It made him stop in his tracks and look up towards the forlorn world in despair as his mind panicked further. What is going on with this place? He asked himself as he looked up, first Karlile now this? His mind was going wild with possibilities as to what could be transpiring in the galaxy at large. As the wave passed he moved on his tail twitching furiously with the nervousness that filled his body, he remembered his willingness to join the Jedi given the offer, but part of him thought this might not have been a good idea. He remembered life back on the Rusty Rabbit, it was far simpler he could let his emotions show, but now he as well as the Jedi were seemingly afraid of fear itself.

As he continued walking down the clean halls toward Surik' quarters, he saw the stunned faces looking up, fearing what was to come but the monkey faunus steeled himself as he began his stride once more, he had to tell Surik of Karlile.

In her chamber Surik stood dusting off her robes, she herself had a smirk on her face. Kreia finally moved, she had been waiting for that for years. This was an event she speculated would come, and judging by the severity of the pulse it was the Curse of Grimm. She needed to unify the Jedi now as this meant the gap between was thinning and soon more events that the galaxy would need to prepare for would unfold. With the knowledge of what was going on, she walked over to the door of her quarters. Her mind was brewing with contingencies like it had been for all these years. Though before she could step foot out of the door Wukong was standing in front of her just about to knock on the door, his face looking downright horrified.

She had no time for him to be afraid, she expected most Jedi to be discomforted by such a blast, but a second look gave her another impression like his worries came from something more immediate, more imminent. This puzzled the white-clad Jedi, as he wasn't the type get this spooked over nothing, some of his comrades were another thing.

"Master Surik, I need to talk to you now it is urgent," Sun spoke quickly showing his panic to the veteran Jedi.

Satele was quick after recovering from the dark wave that had filled temple, her mind was racing, such a wave was a major concern to the Jedi she was sprinting down to the council chambers, she needed to call the council to a meeting, as many of the Jedi through the galaxy would be looking to them for leadership after a wave like that. Though that was not the only thing that she needed to say, she needed to tell the council about Zaffre's release as that was going to be her only way to pry the council from Surik's hands. Though she would be lying if she didn't think some of the council would not care that Surik had done such a thing. She knew the darkness was contaminating the order she was trying to keep, but the next war was coming but she worried how much the dark side had corrupted the order.

She ran up the stairs toward the council chambers, upon entering the room she found that she was the first to arrive, something that shocked her as she expected Surik to be there then she remembered she was usually late when such disturbances occurred as she was trying to triangulate them.

Taking her seat in the council room Satele activated the holocomm and sent out the call for an emergency meeting of the Jedi Council. After the message was sent she sat back and waited as her metallic arm severed by Imperious ached with pain at its attachment which caused the grand master to wince as she remembered the failed attack on Malserik's fortress, and the revelations it held.

Across the galactic void, on the city-world of Coruscant, Jaune, Lie Ren, and Artorika looked toward the bright sky which looked almost dark as the wave passed. This wave chilled them to the bone with fear but they were quick to act. Lie Ren opened the airspeeder they were next to. With it open the normally collected Jedi yelled for his to compatriots to 'get in the car!' they both quickly complied with this order and piled in. Jaune being the first and more frantic of the two still outside. Artorika was quick but a lot more composed than her younger friend.

As the airspeeder got airborne and into the airways of the city world Jaune asked.

"What was that!?" His voice seemingly panicked, he felt something like that when the Amity incident occurred but he wasn't as in tune with the force as he was now. As he controlled the speeder through the gleaming cityscape, the green-clad master responded.

"I don't know, but an event like that has me concerned too Jaune," Ren replied calmly, his voice deviating from its normal lack of emotion, the Jedi could hide his emotions for only so long and this broke even his cool to an extent. He had not felt this way since his family was destroyed back in his home on Remnant. There was something with this disturbance that reminded him of this and he was not about to let history repeat. With that said he quickly follows up with, "We need to get in contact with the council immediately and find out what that was."

"Surik will probably know what it was," Artorika said softly still feeling the scorn of Surik after their disagreement. Turning toward Jaune and Lie Ren she continues saying, "Though I have a bad feeling about this, neither of the pulses were as potent as this one was. We felt it for the past two but it was not like that." She explained her voice trailing off as that feeling of dread lingered on her. She could tell dark times were ahead but what was about to happen she had no idea.

The gleaming cityscape flew by to the three Jedi, but as they darted toward the embassy, Lie Ren's holocomm started to ring and he cursed figuring it was the Jedi council. With that, he increased the speed of his flight, not to a reckless measure, but one of utmost urgency but he was not adverse to dodging traffic. If he had the option he would have asked Artorika to take over flying due to her abilities but alas that would be a most dangerous thing to suggest especially as the embassy came into sight. He was thankful to see the building of the embassy, but he could not get there sooner.

Upon landing, the harsh stop was one that almost sent Jaune's face into the dashboard as the vehicle came to an almost skid of a stop on the parking pad. Jaune was concerned as the look of die-hard concentration on Lie Ren's face. As soon as the vehicle was off he jumped out and started to hurry to his office. Jaune and Artorika following quickly behind. The staff of the embassy was well sure to keep out of their way as they moved as those that were force sensitive felt the disturbances too.

Entering his office that overlooked a section of the cityscape below, Lie Ren quickly took his seat and activated the holocomm as Jaune and Artorika took seats across his desk to hear the council meeting.

Returning to Tython, in Surik's dimly lit quarters, Sun sat explaining to the white-clad master about Karlile, this topic had Surik very disgruntled with the monkey faunus as to her this was a non-issue. As he kept speaking, Surik thought did you really think I didn't figure out who Karlile was? She asked rhetorically in her mind as Sun jabbered on about how afraid he was about this as he remembered the battle at Amity. She knew the details Taiyang told her when they first linked up, and that was severed by Yang's betrayal. To stop Sun in his tracks and so she could report to the council she said.

"I knew Karlile was this Cinder woman, Sun, trust me when I say she is no threat to us, her memory was wiped completely," The Jedi explained calmly, as she did so, Sun looked at her with a look of shock. In the past that woman was a thorn in her side back on Remnant, now she was a big help to her as of late, and with the return of her abilities, she was confident that she could just rewrite them again even if her old personality resurfaced.

This explanation was anything but what Sun was looking for, in fact, this revelation was quite the shock to him as he realized there was a conflict of interests between him and his master, he was there when Cinder attacked, he watched the four girls fight Cinder and her group. He knew the fate of Ruby and team PRWN from Blake and Jaune but Cinder was the person who blew up the Amity Colosseum and put him and all his friends in this mess, to begin with, to hear that this woman was on 'his' side in any way made the monkey faunus upset with his master. Mixed in with the frustration was a nasty pinch of betrayal, which made him question the situation.

"Don't you worry about what could happen if she got her memories back?" Sun inquired, keeping his cool, but making sure it was known he was not crazy about Cinder in anyway shape or form. This tone was conveyed to Surik who looked at him with a look of 'really,' as she responded with.

"Sun, she is no threat, even if she regained her memories, she can not do much, she can not easily get back to Remnant, and she is stuck here with us, blind and lacking an arm and a leg, trust me she can't do much, Sun, and I have plans if she does," Surik explained calmly, as Sun looked at her not satisfied by her explanation but he conceded that she could control the situation, though this situation did change one thing with one of Surik's latest batch of apprentices. As she concluded her last sentence she said, "Sun please do not worry about her, as I fear something much more dangerous looms on the horizon, with that I must brief the council on my suspicions," with that said she walked over to the door, and opened it with a look back to Sun, "Please, Sun, do not fear her she is nothing to be afraid of." after which she left, she had delayed long enough, she had to go to the council room now.

Sitting in the light of the window, the monkey Faunus started to think 'what if Surik failed?' what if Cinder was much more powerful than she thought. He had to let someone know, he knew he had to do something, even if he had to go over his master to do it. He did not trust Surik to keep control of the woman, as much as he trusted Surik, his mind told him that despite what Surik said, she could be underestimating the woman Cinder was. This thought in Sun's mind spread, he needed to tell someone else so legitimate contingencies could be put in place if she did recover her memories. He wanted to trust Surik but he was starting to think she was putting a bit too much faith in her abilities. Standing up, the Jedi Padawan knew he had to take action.

Walking out of the room, he did not know who to go to with this information, who could he trust? Artorika and Jaune were out as he did not know how trustworthy they really were, and Surik's opinion of them was very poor. Most of the masters probably wouldn't believe him without proof, and he had none other than his own thoughts and Surik's admission. Ruling out most of the masters, his friends seemed likely to support this but then he remembered that they would likely support Surik's opinion. So he had to look elsewhere for help, the only person that seemed like a person he could inform about this easily was Satele Shan, while Surik had her reservations, she could do more than he could. So upon leaving the room that is where the monkey faunus started to walk, he was going to her quarters. His plan to meet with her after the end of the council meeting, as he did not want to barge in uninvited, but she was the one who could act upon his information the best.

Surik, while walking through the corridors was concerned with what Sun had been talking about, she thought he was supposed to unflinchingly loyal to her. It was proving that was not the case which showed a potential problem with her ability which she proceeded to curse. 'Well this is good that I have found this now, rather than later,' She thinks to herself as she walks. Though now she needed to unite the Jedi in the cause of fighting the Grimm if Traya did summon them to Nar Shaddaa.

Walking down the halls she saw the Jedi had recovered from the pulse and many were looking at her, they knew she could have the answers they needed at this point. She gave them all reassuring looks as they returned to their duties that they needed to carry out. As she walked to the council chamber she had a bad feeling overwhelm her for a few seconds, it was the type of feeling she got when Atton all those years ago said that same phrase. She knew not why, but she continued to the council chambers.

While Surik and Sun discussed the potential threat of Karlile, her old mind was carrying her through the halls toward quarters she knew from Karlile's memories, walking up to the door she could feel the darkness welling inside. Knocking on the door, she remembered how the meek voice sounded so she could repeat it, "Blake, it's me Karlile," she said in her old voice by this point. It took a second for her to respond, and when she did it was a response of annoyance.

"What do you want, Karlile?" Blake responded, her voice telling Cinder all she wanted to know, that her plan could work. As she stood outside of the room she smiled as she had her response.

"Blake I thought about what you said earlier, can I talk to you again?" Cinder asked mimicking the old meek voice Karlile used. With a groan, the door slid open revealing Blake inside looking at the blinded woman with a look of 'what do you want, come in'.

Cinder entered the room passing Blake as she did so she said, "I understand why you want revenge on Ruby, Blake," she said as she stood almost basking in the darkness of the room. The bandaged faunus looked at the girl with a look of 'thank you' that slowly shifted with the realization of what she just said. The look of shock morphed Blake's face making it apparent that something had happened to Karlile.

"Yes, yes, I understand Blake, I fully understand and want to join you in revenge against those welps," She said her voice starting like Karlile's but it shifted to its natural more crueler tone. Blake hearing this shift took her double-bladed lightsaber off her belt and readied it as this was no longer Karlile she was dealing with and such a fact disturbed her. Looking down at the woman in front of her she could tell that the woman beneath that red cloak was not innocent nor a blank slate any longer. This became especially apparent as she readied her lightsaber at Blake's sign of hostilities. "I am not your enemy, in fact, I want to help you get your revenge." holding up her silver and black lightsaber, her fingers over the inscriptions of vengeance on its hilt, as Blake's thumb was placed on the ignition stud.

"Who are you, what did you do to Karlile?" Blake inquired, her voice harsh and course as she started to interrogate the woman in front of her, her thumb was tense waiting for any hostile action. The woman took one pace closer and the light filled the dark room, a candle flame light. The single yellowish blade ignited with fury and authority from the saber staff's hilt, but the woman clad in the red cloak was not intimidated as she activated her own lightsaber. Her blade was a stark white that was almost blinding to look upon. The light of that blade unaffected the woman but Blake had to squint as the light that blade made her lightsaber dim in comparison. With her blade ignited, Cinder spoke.

"To answer your question, I am the person Karlile once was, my name is Cinder Fall, and Ruby was the one who made me into who I am right now," She explained trying to foster some common ground between her and the hostile Jedi. "While I may have done some things I regret on Remnant, she is someone that needs to pay and we can work together Blake."

"You seem to be the type of person who I do not want to have helping me. I am a Jedi!" Blake retorted her voice determined but her opponent smiled and laughed dismissively at such a declaration. Obviously amused by what she had said.

"Dear, if you think you are a Jedi, So am I," Cinder taunts knowing how to get under her skin, "Face it Blake you want revenge against Ruby, no you need revenge against her." Cinder's voice trying to convince her she was no better than herself. Though with that said Blake swung out of anger. The yellow flame-like blade darting toward Cinder, who parried the incoming strike with a vigorous display, slamming the blade into the ground as Blake retorted.

"Who are you to judge me?" Blake inquired rhetorically, her voice filled with anger as she evaded the parry, and igniting the second blade on her saber staff and countered with another swing toward Cinder as she said, "She is too dangerous to be left alive, it is for the greater good!"

"So you're a 'by any means necessary' type?" Cinder inquired as she blocked her strike with her own humming blade, the crackling flashes almost blinding Blake. "if that is the case, Blake I can help you give the edge you need to take care of her, use your anger and hatred, hone it to be a weapon." Cinder explained as Blake struck again, and again. Each strike was filled with rage and contempt. This made Cinder smirk as the force sight aided her in deflecting the attacks levied on her by the angered faunus. Cinder was now on the defensive, as the cracks of the blades colliding flooded the air, though it was contained in the thick-walled room. As the bout continued Cinder could feel the anger coming from Blake, and she wanted to harness it.

"I will not accept help from a Sith," Blake yelled as she kept lashing at Cinder and her white blade. She wanted nothing to do with the Sith, let alone one that was her friend yet again. Though Cinder gave a response that made Blake stop.

"Just because I use the dark side doesn't make me a 'Sith,' the dark side is merely a path you walk to complete your goals," Cinder explained to the wayward Jedi. She smiled as she said "I don't want to hurt you or the Jedi, I hated my old life as I was forced to do my old Masters bidding," The Dark Jedi said, lying through her teeth but she sounded earnest in this as she then said, "With the way the council is pushing for Malserik with all of their abilities, to the point were we raided Drommund Kaas, face it Blake you need me!" Cinder said as she felt the gears turning in Blake's mind as she stood there lowering her saber as Blake pondered the things Cinder had told her.

She's right, she is right, Blake caught herself thinking as she remembered having told that she told Karlile off, referring to Ruby as her Malserik. The 21-year-old faunus Jedi was in turmoil, the grip on her saber slacked as she realized how the anger felt in her body. She had repressed this emotion so much until recently, and now it was taking hold of her. The council knows rage and they claim it is justified, how is this wrong? She asked herself as the other half of her mind tore into this new line of thinking with the harsh comb of skepticism. She is trying to turn me, Blake she is trying to turn you, her mind rattled off through the second part she could almost hear in a voice that was not her own, but Satele's voice saying those words to her. Looking at her through the force, Cinder smiled.

"Blake, you could be so much more powerful, if only you just let go of your chains, set yourself free! I will teach you!" Cinder explained as she walked up, and put her hand on the faunus shoulder, "I can teach you, and train you to break your chains and boundaries," the resurrected Dark Jedi smiled. As Blake was swayed by what she was saying, she hated the fact she was right in some regards as her perspective shifted. I hate this, she thoughtbut she was a Jedi and she would do what it meant to preserve the order through any means necessary, even if it meant using things forbidden to the order, as Ruby and the Sith needed to face justice along with all who betrayed the order which included Yang. She could be a great ally, but I cannot trust her but I need her knowledge, Blake told herself as she stood in front of Cinder as her still healing wounds ached under her bandages from the movements of combat. Though the pain only reminded the wavering Jedi more of who they had to defeat and why.

"You will have my aid Cinder but we are not to betray the order or the Republic we are Jedi, not Sith," She said as she growled at the dark-sider, she knew she was walking a dark path but she realized she could not hold back on Ruby, and the scars on her body that ached as she looked at theblind woman in front of her.

Alas further away, in the main council chamber's a separate battle was beginning to unfold, as the council gathered either in hologram or in person. Satele was at the head of the table, as the grand-master, her prosthetic right hand intertwined with her remaining left. She looked quite concerned as the master's gathered. Lie Ren's hologram was seated next to her, as they waited for the last master to enter and it was one that Satele personally wanted to see, Surik.

"Where is Surik?" One of the more impatient human male masters said, Surik knew the voice by master Re' Gal Dorm, he was a more impatient and straightforward man, a white beard on his face and a stern unforgiving look that was attached to a muscular body that was draped with yellow robes. Despite being not as much of hard line then some of his compatriots, he was a man to be respected as an elder to the council.

"Leave it be, Master Dorm," another voice chimed in this time from the Rattataki Jedi Master, Haros Larikal, "Master Surik is probably on her way as we speak." Dorm looked at the pale Jedi, as he knew he was one of Surik's greatest defenders. The scowl on the aging man's face made it apparent that he just wanted answers as to what was going on with the pulse that just had blasted through the temple. Satele herself as she remembered this was the master who called for her to be replaced for her failure with the raid on Hiskal.

"I would leave it be if I did not fear even worse results from this latest disturbance," The firm yet impatient master gave as his reply. He gave a point to the council as more of Surik's supporters gave a glare to the yellow-clad Jedi master who sighed at the younger masters. Though as he reclined into his chair, the door to the chamber opened to the sight of Surik, who was clad in her white robes as she took a seat. Once she was seated, Satele started by saying.

"Well, I am pretty sure you all understand the premise of this meeting is to discuss the large-scale disturbance in the force felt by all of us, if that was not felt by anyone present please state so?" the grand-master said to brief everyone on the situation and to gather how far reaching it was judging by the silence, she could tell that this was felt by all the masters throughout the galaxy. Given this concern, she glanced at the white-clad master and acknowledged her with, "Surik, due to you being the closest thing we have to an expert on these incidents, what are your observation's of this disturbance?" Satele asked calmly as she transferred off to Surik as she was the best person that they had for dealing with this type of disturbance.

Upon entering the room, Surik saw the council in full attendance, those on Satele's side were glaring at her and her allies as she entered. The tension in the room was needlessly palpable in her eyes as she took her seat at the table. Though the rest of the council seemed worried about the matters at hand, she was calmly relaxing there as Satele got down to business, explaining the nature of the meeting. She smiled as she saw how widespread the disturbance was as it seemed to shake the Jedi to the core with this disturbance. While the last two shook them, they were nowhere on the same metric as this disturbance. Giving a slightly snide look as Satele passed off the floor to her, she started to explain to the council what just happened.

"Thank you Satele," She said as her smile grew a bit as she stood up and lowered her hood and opened up the galaxy map to Nar Shaddaa, "this disturbance originated from Nar Shaddaa and it is not like the other two, while this came from Remnant, it was not a person that came over though." the white-clad woman explained as she looked around at the council minus Satele was unnerved, though Lie Ren more than most as his mind started to turn hearing this.

"An old enemy of mine from Remnant, has managed to exert her power into the galaxy, using abilities, she learned from Darth Nihilus, Darth Traya has enacted the Curse of Grimm upon Nar Shaddaa. This curse was a creation of the 'lord of hunger's' to assist in the gathering of life and the force that he feasted upon. This curse he created causes a world to be infested with his Sithspawn, henceforward to be referred to their remnant name, Grimm," As she explained this only one Jedi got the true terms of what she was saying and frankly the green-clad hologram was glad he was not there as he was losing his cool, as was his spectators on the same end as him. They realized that their sworn enemy was not something inherent to Remnant, but something this galaxy plagued them with and Surik was not making allies of them by revealing this fact. Given this explanation, the council gave the woman a skeptical look unsure of what to make of what she was saying. All of the council read her reports on Remnant and the Grimm but none of them knew the horrors they could inflict on life and as Surik paused, Ren spoke up.

"Master Surik is this a confident assessment of the situation, and is what you just said fact and not just assertion," Ren asked hoping this was just assertion, despite him knowing it was not by the way she was talking. His hologram focused on her with his pink eyes as he looked into Surik's silver ones for an answer.

"Master Ren, I am confident, the Curse has been enacted on Nar Shaddaa. I have defeated the creator of the Grimm. Sadly I could not enact the same justice on Traya, who was cast away on to Remnant after the second Mass Shadow Generator detonation on Malachor V, then I followed after back to Remnant when Vitiate cast me there." Surik explained as the council listened and the green-clad young master formulated yet more questions in his mind. Though Satele joined in before he could begin his interrogation.

"Why have you not told us that Traya lives?!" She asked as she heard of that Sith in the records and Surik's withholding of information was growing to be quite the annoyance. It seemed that most of the council agreed with this statement from Satele, as Surik had not told anyone of this yet. Looking at Satele with a glare, the Jedi looked at the council and gave her answer.

"I was curious if she would make it known that she was a threat or if she would stay confined to Remnant, there was no way we could have prepared for this threat, Satele, we can not easily access Remnant, we could not stop her."

"Surik is this Traya the reason the Grimm are on Remnant?!" Ren inquired verbosely showing that he had lost his cool as the hologram of the room was tainted by the sight of his dead mother and father who died because of the Grimm and he had to know if the Grimm were caused by this Traya or not.

"No, the Curse on Remnant was enacted by Nihilus himself, he found that world and enacted it himself, Though Traya took up its mantle as the Curse's benefactor," Surik said not really detailing to what that entailed, though it was apparent that she was not going to get away with that as Satele lept down her throat with.

"Surik, I would like a report on this for the archive, a full detail on Remnant and this Curse of Grimm, and do not withhold any information," Satele says as she was tired of beating around the bush with Surik. As she said this Surik sighed as she took her seat and asked.

"Well, I do have another point to make before we carry on further, how many Jedi were on Nar Shaddaa?" She inquired as a smirk crept across her face as Satele recalled the number.

"Around 20 to 30 were on the planet," The Grand-master said recalling the number as the Hutt's were not too friendly to the Jedi's cause but this inquiry begged another question, why? That was what the Satele inquired on next, "Why? Are they in severe danger," that is when Surik gave her a look that confirmed that was indeed the case though there was something there in that look as well like there was more to it than just the danger.

"Yes they are in danger, but the Curse of Grimm has another side effect than merely allowing the spawning of Grimm on that world. Due to the pure strain in the Force when the wound is created to allow the Grimm to spawn. There must be a reaction that all the force sensitives on the world at the time of activation of the curse have a reaction to the Curse, almost like those who are there have their connection to the force mutated or it is a defense mechanism in the force, but they will form an Aura and Semblance," Surik explained to the Jedi, though the Remnant Jedi who could hear this explanation were in fact deeply confused as their abilities and the force felt like two entirely independent things. This caused Lie Ren to acknowledge Jaune with a glance of objection, which he then voiced to the council with a concise nature.

"So you are telling me that our Aura and Semblance are tied to the force and that the Curse of Grimm is the cause of it?" Ren inquired for both him and his friend's sake. He needed to know as it seemed all those childhood stories were false and that Surik was withholding a vast amount of information from the Remnants.

"That is correct, Master Ren, though Remnant is a much more unique case due to its seclusion from the rest of the Galaxy, as natural selection has taken its toll on the population, who forgot their ties to the force, instead relying on their adaption to the Aura and Semblance, it's stead. Also just for some further inform moon was the site of a possible Mass Shadow detonation, like Malachor V, the effects of which I cannot explain as the world is seemingly removed from any known map, though it was long before my time." Surik explained to the Jedi in the room as they had read her theories of Remnant's location, though not even she had a faint clue as to anything other a major disturbance in the force to get them back and forth.

"So the Jedi on Nar Shaddaa will have Aura and Semblances like Master Ren, Jaune, and Blake," Satele asked quite curious as to how this was a good thing as she read the reports on Aura and Semblances, though this opened up a new line of thought, "What were our estimate's of Sith on the planet?" She asked as this would most certainly apply to them too.

"Around a few hundred but that is being conservative." Master Dorm said to Satele, though his gaze shifted as he turned to look at Surik and said, "from what you are saying, Surik, it seems these Jedi and Sith could have new abilities like our Remnant Jedi."

"That is correct-" She said, though another question came from another Master that cut the white-clad Jedi off.

"How well contained are the Grimm?" this master asked with legitimate concern in his voice. As the rest of the council looked a Surik for an answer. She knew how destructive the Grimm could be on a world but she did not know if they on their own could escape and infect other worlds. She furrowed her brow as she did not have a definitive answer to that question. She knew they were well contained on Remnant but with the technology and population of Nar Shaddaa made her question this fact. This lack of a response from Surik made Satele have to take action. Though what Satele said worked exactly in Surik's favor, which caused her to grin.

"Master Ren, get in contact with the Republic's Nal Hutta ambassador, I want to get Nar Shaddaa contained, and evacuated as Soon as possible, While that is going on I will discuss getting a task force together to deal with these Grimm, as this is a serious threat and the Hutt's will want our help, so please get on this right away you are dismissed, Master Ren," Satele said to the hologram of Ren, who nodded and added one thing.

"Due to the nature of the Situation, I request that all of the Remnant Jedi be assigned to this Anti-Grimm task force," Ren requested as his reason was quite clearly written on his face, this was their enemy, not this galaxy's, no matter where they were, the Grimm was his enemy.

On the other end of the call, Jaune and Artorika stood up as the Call cut after Satele gave her response to Ren's suggestion. The two Remnant's looked ready for war and all that had troubled them prior was now back and their creed as Huntsmen resurfaced as well, they knew their enemy.

A/N: Well I have returned back to this story, not gonna lie, kind of nervous as life has changed quite a lot for me, and writing time has been even scarcer than it was, and I was dealing with a lot of writers block, along with life, school, finding work, relationship, and worst of all not working on this story for a while. This left me in a predicament where I had to reread my work to figure out my path yet again. So please, if I made a continuity error please let me know. Also returning on a Jedi chapter, though it's about time they get off their proverbial shelf and get involved. Now for the bit, I dread, the review responses.

To all asking either 'me to come back,' or 'is the story dead?' here I am! Hello! My deepest apologies for the wait, sadly I cannot commit as much time as I once did so I will never have a definitive release time.

ShadeslayerX:

1: I am glad you like the story!

2: Wow you got them all pretty much, there is one Jedi you missed though Still gonna through a few more in, but Malserik is really not Emiya, he is a true OC somewhat, he's based after another Character of mine that I haven't shown off yet. So if you want to keep playing the guess the reference game there is some more!

Vigriff:

1-5: I am glad you are catching all of this and that you like the story!

GreekSSR: Here? I am glad you like the story!

Just another day: I decided to broaden it a bit also, in my opinion, works a bit better.

Imnotraven16: See Above, sorry for the delay.

Akritedes:

1-2: Thank you for the criticism. The intro of the story needs to be improved in my opinion, but already doing one rewrite makes me not want to do that. As things go, thank you for giving my story a try!

Guest: Well I am back now!

WitheredTime: Time, I honestly would not be opposed to the idea, but it is an Eh topic for me.

Intameticus:

1-3: Well It got updated, I am back and Thank you! I am glad you like the story!

MegaElite: I know the start is SUPER edgy, and that is part of the reason a Rewrite of that when I get the time may need to happen but I am glad you made it past that!

RairiValelira: Yes I am, Meow!

Well, that was a doozy of a Review Response section. That is what I get though for not working on this sooner though. Also, I am serious about rewriting the intro of the story and doing a few minor retcons but if I do I may end up holding the new content stream, so let me know what you guys think! Well with all of that out of the way, I hope I don't take another 7 months for the next chapter... but just know, I will always come back! So, with all of that out of the way, Thank you all for reading, if you have any comments, critique, suggestions or corrections, feel free to leave a review or PM me if you can, anything can help the Story. Now then, please everyone be safe and may the force be with you all and thank you all for reading, reviewing, following, favoriting, and sharing RWBY: Dark Side of a Rose!
