A/N: This is now gonna be a 10 or 11 parter, I'm sorry.
"Me first. I think I have a plan to get your mom back and I need you all to listen."
They all looked at him, completely dumbfounded and skeptical, and watched as he sat on the coffee table in front of them.
"Okay, I don't actually have a plan, but I do have a goal," he nodded, running his hand over his bald head and the facial hair he'd been growing.
"You also have a hickey," Liz said with a raised brow.
"What's a hickey?" Max asked.
He quickly covered his neck and pointed at his youngest son. "Nothing. Ignore her."
"So what's your goal?" Dickie asked.
"Wait wait wait, let me guess," Jack said, pretending to think really hard. "Get mom back?"
"When did you become such a smart ass?"
"Uncle Munch," they all said together and Jack shrugged.
"Yes," Elliot said, shaking his head. "I have a goal and the goal is to win your mom back and convince her I'm worthy of her."
"How ya gonna do that, daddy?" Mo asked, crossing her arms.
"I have an idea," Jack said, triumphantly.
"I mean dad, you really hurt her. You're really gonna have to prove you've got it together and have changed."
"Hello? I have an idea," Jack repeated.
"And dad you know she probably thinks you're gonna hurt her again… so you need to promise to us that won't happen."
"Hellllo," Jack sang.
"You just gotta be there for her dad. Like you already are but like. Around us, too. Not just when you guys are alone," Noah said.
"Am invisible?" Jack asked, looking over to Eli and Dickie who were snickering.
"John Henry; is it a good, John idea or an idiot Jack idea?" El asked, looking to him while everyone laughed, including Jet.
"Okay fair," he nodded, "but it's a little bit of both. Do you trust me?"
"No!" Everyone cried together, except for Max who shrugged.
"I trust him," he smiled and Jack reached across to fist bump him and ruffle his hair.
"Alright," El sighed, sitting back and bracing himself. "What's your plan."
"I'm so glad you asked, Father," he said, standing up and disappearing into Dickie and Jet's daughter's playroom, returning with her easel and some crayons.
In dramatic Jack fashion, he flipped over the first blank page to reveal the title page of the plan he'd already written up.
"I present to you," he paused for dramatic effect and cleared his throat, "The Parent Trap."
"This is a Jack idea," Eli whispered loudly.
"Definitely not a John idea," Max added in the same loud whisper, making everyone laugh.
"Okay people. This is a ten part plan to get mom and dad back together, starting with Act 1," he said, using a very deep and theatrical voice to say "Act 1".
"Oh dear god," Mo said laughing.
"Let's begin," he nodded. "Act 1, dinner, tonight."
"Tonight? No way, too soon. Listen guys, mom and I had a long talk last night-" he trailed off when the kids held back their laughter and Jack ripped off the page that said "act 1" to reveal a page that said "the real act 1".
"I thought you'd say that. So, act 1!" He said, as equally dramatic as the first time. "The Gala."
Liv was walking out of her bedroom when the boys came in from school the following Thursday.
"Jack, baby, you're late come on we have to leave in 20 minutes!" She said, adjusting her earring.
All three boys and Elliot stopped dead in their tracks, jaws dropping.
"Mom," Noah gasped.
"Mommy you're beautiful," Max said with a big grin.
"Liv," El breathed out, feeling all of the blood in his body rush to his groin.
"Wooooow mom you look gorgeous, oh my gosh the most gorgeous mom, I think!" Jack exclaimed.
Liv was wearing a bright red, tailored suit with a silky black camisole under it. Her hair was straight and her make up made her look tanner than she usually was.
"What did you do," she sighed and he bit his lip, making a face.
"I forgot about an assignment," he winced, looking at her. "More like a big project. That's due tomorrow at 8am."
She groaned. "John Henry Stabler," she sighed. "Bud…"
"Mom, mom I know I'm sorry!"
"Maybe dad can go with you instead," Noah said, nudging him. "Look he's, already all dressed too."
Elliot was sporting his on-again, off-again goatee with dark pants, a chambray shirt, and his signature vest and tie.
"Why, that's a great idea!" Jack exclaimed, "sorry mom, but you're gonna do great!" He nodded, kissing her cheek and heading off to his room.
"Jack," she groaned. "Dad is probably busy! Jack we had these plans buddy, and I can never get you to go anywhere," she said with a frown.
"No I'm not," Elliot croaked out, clearing his throat awkwardly and answering a half second too late. "I mean…" he stuttered, "I'm not busy."
Jack poked his head out of his room. "The man is free! Consider it an IOU- just a Jack and Mom breakfast or whatever!"
Noah not-so-subtly nudged Max into his room with him, leaving a rock hard Elliot and smoke show Olivia staring at one another.
"You look," he cleared his throat again.
"I can tell," she said, taking a few steps towards him and nodding down to his now tighter pants.
"Which one of them put you up to this?" She accused, crossing her arms and very intentionally pressing her heavy breasts together.
"None of them," he tried and she rolled her eyes.
"El…"
"Lemme take you," he whispered, putting a hand on her hip. "You look beautiful, by the way… I mean… shit," he breathed out.
"I… it's…"
"A victims benefit gala and you're the keynote, I know. And I'm so proud of you and I wanna support you... so let me?"
"Elliot," she tried again, but he cut her off.
"I know. I'll be good," he smiled small.
It wasn't the first time she'd taken him along to a work event since their split, but after their conversation several nights before, she was trying desperately to tread lightly.
"No PDA," she warned.
"No PDA," he promised her.
They stared at one another for a while before he leaned down to whisper in her ear. "But you're crazy if you think you're not gonna suck my cock wearing this outfit."
She gasped softly and he strolled to her kitchen to grab a beer. "You're driving," she called as she made her way back to her room to finish getting ready.
He smirked proudly to himself when she was out of sight, and sipped his beer, laughing softly at Jack when he popped his head out of his bedroom door and gave him a thumbs up.
Moving to Max's room, he plopped on his bed and gave him a gentle, nodded reminder to not get his hopes to high.
"I know daddy," he whispered and El smiled small.
"Be good for the bros tonight okay?"
He nodded, bouncing over and hugging him tightly. "I like when you're here dad," he sighed softly.
"I know buddy," he whispered, kissing his head. "We'll get there alright?"
"Alright daddy," he smiled small and nodded.
Outside his door, Liv blinked quickly before stepping in. "El, ready?"
"Yeah," he nodded, standing up after another tight hug to his youngest.
They made their way to the front, Elliot chugging the rest of the bear and tossing it out while Liv shouted directions to the boys.
"John Henry I want that project on the counter when we get home," she said, silently cursing her slip of the tongue, "and I expect everyone to be in bed asleep. Noah, there's leftover or you can use your card to order pizza- please just have some veggies too!"
"I'll make a salad," he called, unconvincingly.
"No he won't," El murmured and Liv stifled a laugh.
"Max," she called, and he popped his head out of the door, giving her a cheesy grin. "Bed by 8. Understood?"
"Yes Captain," he said, saluting her.
She smiled big. "Love you boys," she said, and they all called out "I love you's" to them both.
El opened the door for her and she did a quick double check of her clutch, making sure she had her notes, lipstick, and phone.
"You have keys?" She asked, and he nodded, holding them up.
With a small smile, she walked out in front of him and he followed behind her, gently grabbing her waist and spinning her into his arms just after she hit the elevator button.
"Hi," he whispered, looking down to her.
She couldn't hide her smile; the look on his face and how hard he was pressed against her belly made her heart flutter.
"Hi," she said back, her heels making them almost the same height.
Pecking her lips softly as to not mess up her lipstick, he gave a sweet smile. she leaned into him a little more, and deepened the kiss.
"Lip stain," she muttered.
"Can't be healthy," he said, running his tongue across her lips in effort to prove a point.
"Don't see you complaining," she commented and he smiled small. "You look incredible. Honestly."
"Thank you," she smiled small, stepping back as the elevator opened.
They walked to the parking garage in comfortable silence, and once they were sure that no kids had followed them, they grabbed each other's hands simultaneously.
"You really need to do something about that," he motioned down to the boner he was still sporting as he swung their arms playfully.
"Told you I really need you to suck me cock in that outfit," he replied, walking to his passenger side and opening the door for her.
Clicking the lock button on her phone, she double checked the time and nodded. "We have thirty minutes before we have to leave."
"What?" He asked, confused. "You said we had 20 minutes, 10 minutes ago?"
"El, when has John Henry Stabler ever been on time for anything??"
He nodded thoughtfully and gave her ass a playful slap. "Get in the back," he instructed, and she smirked, doing as he asked.
Taking a final look around him, he climbed in the back with her and locked the door.
She was already on her knees in the big back seat of his SUV, reaching greedily to unbuckle his belt and open his pants.
He sprang free, aching to be touched from a week of her ghosting him.
"Been avoiding me," he said, right as she pulled her tongue up the length of his cock.
"Mhm," she nodded, sucking his tip in and making him grunt.
"Gonna keep chasing you when you run," he said, already feeling close to his orgasm as she sucked on him mercilessly.
She didn't answer him, nor let up on the pace she'd set, adding in a firm squeeze of his balls when he looked down at her left hand that was rested on his thigh and asked a question through a grunt.
"When did you start wearing your engagement band again?"
Neither had taken their bands off, but as a protest, she hadn't worn her engagement ring in nearly 5 years.
When his hands finally went to her head, she pulled off with a pop and gave him a threatening look. "No, you'll mess up my hair."
"Engagement ring?"
"Shut up," she said simply, returning to her focused work of sucking him off.
"Liv I'm gonna cum," he grunted, his hips bucking inadvertently, pushing himself towards the back of her throat.
The moan she let out sent him over the edge, and she sucked harder while he released down her throat.
"Baby, baby, baby," he said, attempting to tap out when he became too sensitive, and after a few more strokes, she finally pulled off and licked her lips.
"Fuck," he breathed out, attempting to catch his breath. "Red looks fucking amazing on you."
She knelt up slowly, using the edge of the seat for support, and kissed him gently.
"I know."
"Devil," he said, pecking her lips again.
"Come on," she smiled small, tucking him away and kissing him a second time.
As they pulled out of the parking garage, finally, Dickie and Jet sat up from where they were reclined in their car seats, parked in a guest spot.
"It's really a wonder they only had two kids," Jet said, shaking her head.
"Agreed," Dickie nodded.
"Daddy I want to see Uncle Noah and Max and Jaaaaack," their three year old daughter Cora whined from behind them.
She was dressed in a pink princess tutu with a matching pink shirt.
"We're going, we're going," he smiled back at her.
The trio made their way up to the apartment and Noah answered the door.
Eli had snuck in and was sitting on the couch with pizza.
"Took you so long?" He asked, shuddering when Dickie gave him a look.
"Alright people they're on the move," Max said, watching his parents take the short drive from their apartment to the venue.
"Where's Jack?" Jet asked and all three boys giggled.
"He lied about having a project so dad could go, and mom said she wanted to see it in the morning so he's making one up," Noah managed to get out through his laughter.
"It's called a sacrifice for my siblings and parents, my god," he called from his room.
Max giggled and Jet snickered, turning on access to El's phone and sitting with Cora, who was all her Aunt Liz and 0% her mommy.
They watched Elliot open his phone and text the boys.
E: So far so good. Sorry about your project Jack.
J: Rude. Have fun.
He switched to his camera app then, and they heard Liv laugh. "El."
"Cmon just one selfie," he pouted, and she bit her lip leaning in anyways.
"God they're such idiots," Mo said, walking in and Eli nodded. "Seriously. Idiots in love."
"Thank you so much again for being here tonight and making a difference in the lives of those who need it most," Liv said finishing her speech to a thunderous applause.
El watched with pride as she was handed a plaque to commemorate the occasion, and posed for several photos.
"She's incredible," a young detective in attendance said to him.
"She definitely is," he smiled down at her.
"I'm Dani… and you?"
He laughed softly when Liv caught site of him talking to the young blonde. "Elliot Stabler," he nodded, and she gasped.
"You're her ex husband right?"
"It's complicated," he winked at her, making eye contact with Liv over her shoulder.
After a few more painful minutes of small talk, Liv made her way over to them.
"There she is… woman or the hour," he smiled, pulling her in for a hug and a kiss to the cheek as the young woman left, frowning.
To his surprise, she wrapped her arms around him tightly, one hand going to the back of his head so she could pull his ear down to her mouth.
"You know the corridor outside and to the left?"
"Mhm."
"Meet me in the closet at the end of it. The one on the right. Five minutes."
He looked down at her, slightly shocked, and grinned knowingly at the look on her face and the darker shade of her eyes.
"Captain… are you jealous?"
She rolled her eyes, spun on her heel, and walked out.
Laughing to himself, he got them two glasses of bourbon, meandered a few minutes, and then followed her down the hall.
She'd barely gotten to the door when he reached her.
"I said 5 minutes," she scolded in a hushed tone.
"You walk slow," he reasoned, opening the door and gently pushing her in.
Her slender arms and small hands were around his waist from behind while he secured the door. "Eager?" He said with a smirk, turning in her arms when she got him unbuckled.
"Mhm," she said, taking the glasses from him and setting them down. "Don't like you with other women," she muttered, looking down to where he was unbuttoning her slacks.
"So let me come home," he asked, pushing them down and hoisting her against the wall with two strong arms, his cock sliding between her folds.
"El," she shook her head.
"I'll get you one day," he nodded, guiding her onto him and pushing upwards.
"Fuck," she gasped, her head falling to his. "Gotta be quiet," he whispered and she nodded, crashing their lips together as he fucked into her.
"Gotta be fast," he said next, speeding up, the angle they were at allowing him to nudge her clit repeatedly with his pelvis.
"And you can't be quiet when I'm fast," he said, a glimmer of mischief in his eyes.
"You suck," she gasped, a little too loudly.
"Stabler," he said, tsking softly and letting one of her legs drop.
He kept one hand at the bend in her knee, leg wrapped around his waist, but moved the other to her mouth before pistoning into her so hard and fast that his hand did almost nothing to muffle the sounds she was making.
Her eyes rolled back in pleasure and she began to flutter around him as her breathing became shallow under his hand.
He grinned when her blunt nails dug into the back of his neck and gripped his vest, and he gave the back of her knee another little squeeze.
"Gonna cum Stabler?" He asked, and she clenched down around him more tightly, holding and releasing as he fought his way into her.
"You like when I call you Stabler huh," he goaded. "Cause you're mine," he growled.
Her head rolled to the side and a muffled scream escaped as her back arched and she released around him, shaking in his arms.
He stopped his movements, letting her take what she needed and wanted, before giving a few more thrusts and releasing himself.
His hand fell from her face and their heads fell against one another, kissing softly and breathing heavy.
"Let's get back to your party," he whispered and she smiled up at him. "I did okay?"
"You did incredible. I'm so proud of you, Olivia."
She blushed and kissed him again, pouting a little when he pulled out of her.
The pair returned to the Gala, chatting with everyone about everything from their own careers to their kids.
They were the talk of the NYPD, always, but especially when they showed up to events together.
He let her have her fun, mingling without his looming presence for a bit while he relieved himself and got them more drinks from the bar.
When he returned, he was disappointed to see her chatting with Ed Tucker.
Approaching slowly, he took a deep breath and interjected. "Tucker, how are you?" he asked, as cordial as possible.
Tucker and Liv had been on a couple dates immediately following Elliot's move from their home, and though it didn't lead anywhere, he presence and knowing that he'd been inside of his wife irritated him to no end.
"Good Stabler, and yourself?" He asked and Elliot nodded. "In the presence of this woman, how could I be bad."
"Truth," Tucker said, and Liv looked up to Elliot when he put a protective hand on her lower back after handing over her drink.
"Hey Liv, since you're kid free, we should hit the bar after this for a few post gala shots? Maybe a nightcap?" He winked, and Liv felt Elliot tense but ignored it.
"Stabler, you're more than welcome to join us," he added.
"I think we'll head home, but thank you! Rain check?" She said sweetly and he nodded. "Definitely a rain check."
When he walked away, Liv looked up to El with a sly grin.
"Jealous, Lieutenant's Stabler?" She mimicked and her shook his head. "You're horrible, you know that? Pure evil?
She laughed maniacally and nudged him. "Let's go home to our boys."
"Can I spend the night?"
"On the couch or in Max's room."
"Can we keep drinking?"
She thought a moment and then nodded. "Yeah, that we can do."
As they walked out together and said their goodbyes to everyone, he leaned into her ear. "Can I see you in that outfit without the shirt?"
She gasped playfully but then nodded, eyes remaining ahead. "We can definitely do that."
He took her again in her bathroom, hand clasped over her mouth, after she'd quietly called for him and he entered her space to find her in just that damn blazer and a thong.
After they'd finished, he changed into a spare set of clothes he kept there and they collapsed together on the couch, a bottle of tequila between them.
"Let me come home," he whispered, and she sighed.
"Elliot you gotta stop…"
"Why?"
"Cause..." she trailed off, not actually having a reason for him to stop.
Setting the bottle on the table, he leaned back, covered them over with a blanket, and wrapped an arm around her tightly.
She gave in, and hugged his middle, her eyes closing effortlessly in her drunken state.
"Night Stabler," he whispered to her.
"Night El I..." she stopped herself.
"I love you too, Liv."
