The cold winds of October blew through the air outside of U.A High School. It was now well into the fall season and the new semester of school. All of the hero course students were working hard to improve their skills, and Class 1-C was no exception.

The past two weeks, Class 1-C had been forced to deal with detention after school every day due to their stunt in taking down Paradise and rescuing Fujino's mother Ayano. Everything had worked out so there wasn't much for them to regret in the grand scheme of things. But it was undeniable that they had broken school rules in doing what they did, so some form of punishment was expected.

Fujino apologized to her classmates continuously for getting them all in trouble by going off on her own in the first place, but the others assured her that it was their decision and not her fault. The worst part if anything was that gossip of what Class C had done spread around the school quickly in the days that followed, resulting in even more mocking from Monoma of Class B than normal.

Thankfully, their two weeks of detention was finally up and things could start going back to normal. The morning bell for homeroom rang as Yamagori walked into the classroom and addressed her students.

"Alright, let's start with morning announcements." Yamagori began. "First and foremost, we have a school festival coming up."

"Woo! A totally normal school event!" Jill cheered as she raised her fist into the air. One quick glare from her teacher however was enough to shut her up. "S-Sorry, Ms. Yamagori…"

"Not that I dislike the idea of a school festival, but is it really a good idea to hold one?" Sakura asked. "I mean, villains have been getting increasingly active lately."

"Well you aren't wrong there. Besides Paradise, there have been more and more villain groups showing activity since All Might's retirement. And although they haven't been as active, the League of Villains has shown their presence in both the Paradise incident and another one that occured recently." Yamagori admitted. "However, it's important to keep in mind that U.A consists of more than just the hero courses. Similar to how the Sports Festival is a big moment for the hero course, the school festival is important for the other courses, support, general studies, and business. And on top of that, there's been plenty of students feeling stressed due to the current conditions, most notably the recent dorm system. And all of that stems from the hero course."

"I see…" Sakura said. "My apologies. I hadn't considered that."

"Additionally, even though we're holding the festival, there's strict guidelines in place this year." Yamagori added. "Other than a few other people involved, the festival will be just for the school. No outside visitors, friends, family, or otherwise."

"In other words, the non-hero courses are going to be blaming all this on those of us in the hero course." Dan said with a sigh. "Even though we're still holding it, that's a lot to deal with."

"It goes without saying, but every class needs to participate." Yamagori told them. "You have until the end of the week to decide on something."

After Yamagori had finished the morning announcements, the students spent the remainder of homeroom brainstorming ideas on what they could do for the festival. Various ideas were tossed about, but the class was unable to come up with a suitable decision before first period. It was decided to table the discussion for now and continue it after school when they were all back at the dorm.

After finishing dinner, the students of Class C gathered around the common area, discussing what they could do for the school festival. To make it easier to browse the ideas, everyone with a suggestion wrote their idea on flash cards, which were then spread around the table.

Being the class representative, Sakura took the lead in browsing through the ideas. "Let's see… there's a few ideas for various food stalls. A couple entertainment suggestions, including an idol performance. One idea for a casino. One idea for a maid cafe."

"A maid cafe?" Sarah questioned. "Who thought of that dumb idea?"

"Oh! Such harsh words!" Merci exclaimed. "Would it not be perfect, what with our class's magnifique collection of beauties?!"

"Well that answers that question." Alicia said in a dry tone.

"What monsieur wouldn't want the pleasure of being served by such lovely ladies? We have our nature loving Sakura, our ray of sunshine Alicia, our adorable kitten Hikari-"

"Keep it up and this 'adorable kitten' will claw your eyes out." Hikari glared.

The not-so-subtle threat from Hikari quickly made Merci go silent. Sakura brought everyone's focus back to the list of ideas. "I think we'll have to take out anything potentially inappropriate like a maid cafe." she said. "The casino's out too, Lilina. We can't have students gambling."

"What?! How did you know that was my idea?!" Lilina gasped, causing nearly every member of class to narrow their eyes at her as if to ask 'Really?'.

Sakura continued through the list. "I'm not sure it should necessarily be an idol performance, but a concert might work. Do you think you could handle that, Melody?"

"Hmm… I can teach people singing, but in terms of instruments I've got very little experience." Melody explained. "Unless we have people who know how to play a wide variety of instruments, we'd be lackluster at best."

All the heads glanced around to see if anyone with instrument knowledge would step forward, but sadly no such people seemed to exist in their class. Sakura let out a sigh. "Alright, so that's out. I guess one of the food options could potentially work."

"Actually… I'm not so sure that's a good idea." Sarah said. "Remember what Ms. Yamagori mentioned this morning? About how all the other courses are feeling stressed because of the hero course students. I was thinking we should try and help alleviate them of their stress somehow."

"That's true." Jill agreed.

"Taking that into account, I don't think we'd be able to pull off an overly successful food-related idea, considering all the students have Lunch Rush's cooking regularly." Sarah continued. "It would only look self-gratifying if we were the only ones having fun."

"Good point." Sakura admitted. "So food's out too."

"We need to try and make something that would allow everyone to have fun." Shiro said. "But what?"

The group of students silently thought to themselves, but no ideas came forth. Sakura let out a sigh. "Well we've got a few days. It's not like we need to figure out what to do in one night. Let's sleep on it for now and continue this discussion tomorrow."

Nobody had any better ideas, so they decided to follow the advice of their class representative and disbanded for the night. Some returned to their rooms to sleep. Others decided to study. A third group however was still in the common room chatting away. Specifically, a group of girls consisting of Alicia, Lilina, Fiona, Hikari, Jill, and Rekka.

"Hey did you guys hear about the beauty pageant?" Fiona asked.

"Beauty pageant?" Hikari questioned.

"Yeah. Apparently it's been a part of the school festival for many years now." Fiona said.

Lilina's eyes lit up with excitement. "Is there a cash prize for the winner?!"

"I don't think so." Fiona answered. "I'm pretty sure the prize is just a trophy and bragging rights."

And just like that, the light in Lilina's eyes faded. "Darn. That sucks."

"Hey, one of us should enter it!" Jill suggested. "The rest of us can support them and help them get victory! It'll be a ton of fun!"

"Funny you should mention that. Cause I was actually thinking of entering myself." Fiona explained. "I heard Kendo from Class B is entering too. Nejire from the Big Three will be in it too. She was last year's runner up."

"That's some stiff competition." Hikari noted. "If we're going to help you win, we need something to help make you unique to differentiate you from the others."

"Well Fiona's Quirk does focus around water, right? Maybe we could try for a mermaid theme?" Alicia suggested.

"That's perfect! You'd make an awesome mermaid, Fiona!" Rekka said excitedly.

"A mermaid… yeah that could work." Fiona said. "I should see if I can try and get Dan to help me out. He could control a large body of water for me to swim around in on stage with his Quirk."

"Hehehe… the other contestants better watch out." Rekka said.

"Yeah! Let's be sure to win this thing and prove that Class C's got the prettiest girl in the entire school!" Jill cheered excitedly.

-The Next Day-

With their lengthy days of detention over, the students of Class C finally had a bit more freedom once again, both in their available time after school and what they could do with it. Their next meeting for brainstorming ideas of what to do during the school festival wasn't until night, so they had a couple hours in the afternoon to spend as they wished.

For Fujino's case, there was one thing she had been desperately wanting to do these past two weeks. Visiting her mother.

Fujino hadn't spoken with her mother since the night she and her classmates had saved her from Paradise. But now that she wasn't restricted by detention and PAradise was finally taken care of, Fujino had full freedom to leave campus on her own and visit her mother, provided she got permission like any student needed to leave campus.

From what Fujino had been told, her mother was still staying at the hospital, and would continue to do so for the foreseeable future as doctors ran tests in hopes of recovering her stolen memory. Fujino knew the chances of it working were slim at best, but she'd be lying if she said she didn't desperately want it to happen.

As Fujino came to the door, she knocked on it. "Mom, it's me."

"Come in."

Opening the door, Fujino walked into her mother's hospital room. She showed a warm smile to the woman sitting on the bed. "Hey mom."

Ayano smiled back at her daughter. "It's good to see you again, Fujino." She gestured for Fujino to take a seat at the edge of her bed, an invitation her daughter gladly accepted. "So, are you doing well? Is school going alright?"

"Yes." Fujino answered with a nod. "My class and I just finished our two weeks of detention for breaking school rules."

"I see. I feel a little bad for you all, considering I was partially responsible for getting you all in trouble."

"No mom, it's not your fault." Fujino assured her. "Honestly I should have thought things through better. If I had informed the teachers, the pro heroes probably could have rescued you and taken down Paradise much easier than we did, and with far less risk."

"Perhaps, but I'm still grateful to you all nonetheless." Ayano told her. "But enough about such serious topics. Has anything interesting happened at school lately?"

"Actually, our school festival is set to be held soon." Fujino explained. "Though my class is still trying to figure out what to do for it."

"A school festival? That certainly sounds fun."

"Yeah, I guess so. It'll be my first one, though it looks like we're really going to have our work cut out for us." Fujino said.

"What do you mean?"

Fujino sighed and rubbed the back of her head. "Well it seems a lot of the other students are feeling stressed due to all the restrictions put on the school. And since most of it stems from incidents involving the hero course students, we're the target for their blame. So we're trying to figure out something our class could do that could help with stress relief."

"I see. That does seem like a challenge." Ayano said. "Well what about you, Fujino?"

"What about me?" Fujino asked.

"What do you like to do for stress relief? Something that you find fun and enjoyable."

Fujino thought to herself. "To be honest, I'm probably not the best person to ask. These past few years, my life has almost been nothing but stress. I haven't had many ways to get rid of it."

"What about before Paradise? Surely you must have good memories from back then."

"Hmm…" Fujino thought to herself. As she thought back on old memories, a reminiscent smile came to her. "Well I always did enjoy whenever you'd buy me ice cream. The cold yet sweet sensation on my tongue always lifted my spirits. But that won't work. It's too cold for ice cream this time of year, plus our cafeteria has a cook who can make 5 star meals out of practically anything."

"Anything else? Perhaps one special memory in particular that stands out?"

Fujino continued to think back on her childhood. "Well… there was always the summer festival."

"Summer festival?"

"Yeah. You and I would dress up in kimonos, walk around the various stands, and do all kinds of things."

"Sounds a lot similar to what your school is doing." Ayano noted.

"I suppose."

"Well, think back on that festival. Was there any activity you enjoyed especially?"

"Hmmm… that's a hard one. To be honest, there were so many things there I enjoyed." Fujino said. "I dragged you all around, wanting to do every… single…" The teen's voice slowly fell silent as an idea formed in her head. "That's it!"

Ayano blinked in surprise. "Did you think of something?"

"Yeah! This is perfect! I know just what we should do!" Fujino exclaimed. "I gotta tell the others my idea!" She got off the bed and made her way for the door, stopping short halfway when she remembered she was still in the middle of her visit with her mother.

Ayano let out a giggle. "Don't worry about me. Go back to your friends and tell them what you came up with. This is something important after all, right?"

Fujino nodded her head. "Yeah. Thanks, mom." She resumed making her way towards the door and left the room. "I'll be sure to visit again soon!"

Ayano watched as the door to her room closed. A warm smile was on her face. 'Mom. It still feels weird to hear someone call me that. But I'm glad she seems to be capable of moving forward on her own. Good luck, Fujino. I'm rooting for you.'

Once she was back at the dorm, Fujino called the rest of her class together. She then went on to explain her idea to the class. The others listened intently and were a bit surprised by Fujino's suggestion.

"A stamp rally?" Alicia asked.

"Yeah. Think about it. The whole point of a festival is to go around and have fun doing all the various activities set up, right? So we'll provide a bigger incentive to have the students go around to each event." Fujino explained. "We'll work with the other classes doing big events to set up stamps that students can get when they attend those events. Meanwhile, we'll set up various smaller activities they can participate in based on the number of stamps they have. Dunk tanks, goldfish catching, lotto boxes, the works."

Sakura pondered Fujino's suggestion. "Hmm… This could actually work. It would also help get people to go to Class A and B's events."

"I say we do it." Nene said. "We just need to get in touch with some of the other classes and work together with them."

Hikari nodded her head in agreement. "Yeah. After all, the main goal is to let everyone have fun. It's not like we need anything flashy. Besides, it's not like we've got any better ideas."

"Alright then. Looks like we're all in agreement." Sakura said. "In that case, let's do this, Class 1-C! Time to make everyone have the time of their lives at this festival!"

"Yeah!"

A/N: Hello My Hero fans. Happy Halloween. Just saw the World Heroes Mission movie yesterday and had a blast. Great movie. As for today's chapter, it starts off the School Festival arc. Frankly I wasn't able to come up with a lot of ideas in regards for what Class C could do so this is what I ended up deciding on. Next chapter will be out in a month like usual. Until then readers.
