Edit: Possible grammar fixes and clarification in the plot.
Peter ruffled around in his bed, before waking up again in a cold sweat. He looked down at his hands, before lightly tapping them together. He looked around, seeing that he was still in the little hut that he was placed in.
Peter: "Still here... it's not a nightmare then. Ah..."
Peter sighed, before falling right back on his bed. If anything, he wished that this whole world didn't exist. That he was anywhere but here. RIght back at home with aunt may. Ned being a call away.
Peter: "Miss them..."
And like that, Peter tried, and after a while, eventually fell asleep.
Peter groggily wakes up, sitting upward, but not getting up for a while. Honestly, he didn't want to. Why would he?
Felicia: "Wakey wakey spider. We're getting out of here today."
Oh. That's why.
Peter: "Today? Right now?"
Felicia: "Well, no. I still have some loose ends to tie up."
Peter: "Oh. Well, want me to go along with you? You could need some 'amazing' help."
Felicia: "I appreciate it spider, but these are things only I can deal with, okay? You... can go on, maybe try socializing here?"
Peter: "Socialize. Me. With a crime family? No way."
Felicia: "Well, like Blake, there might be... some good people here. Maybe you can... convince them to join us in escaping?"
Peter: "..."
Felicia: "Oh come on, it can't be that bad. Now, I'll be going. Here."
Felicia quickly threw a scroll at Peter, who, at first, had a confused look on his face.
Peter: "Um... and this is?"
Felicia: "It's a scroll. It allows you to communicate with others who have your contact information."
Peter thought to himself, rotating the scroll. Noting a few things in his mind.
Peter: "It's like a more advanced version of a cell phone... it can expand and everything... and it's..."
Felicia had a deadpan look on her face as Peter began... ranting to himself.
Felicia: "Okay... Well, I'll leave you here to... rant. And geek out about a scroll, which is... sad. But oh well, talk to you soon spider."
Felicia put on her eye goggles, zipping up her chest zipper, before leaving the room. Peter sighed a bit, dropping back on his bed, as he laid there for an hour or so, he decided that maybe Felicia had some wisdom to her words. So Peter quickly got up and brushed himself off. Before...
Peter: "Oh, yeah. Secret identity here... Karen?"
Karen: "No worries."
And like that, the iron spider's mask formed around his face. But only the face.
Spider-Man: "Well, it works. Alright, let's go."
And like that, Spider-man left.
Now outside, looking around, he can notice a few things and note a few others. Firstly, Adam is... there. Well, he seemingly is drinking... something. Whatever it is, seems to be in vain, as he continues to be... in distress at the least.
Spidey: "He's... probably sad because... Hmm... I mean, I have time to kill so..."
Side story 1: To calm a Taurus. A little tune played.
Spidey: "What was that?"
Karen: "Oh! Well... that was a little jingle I played. To he;p give your wife a little more excitement!
Spidey: "Oh great, am I gonna live my life with background noise?"
Karen: "Well, I-"
Spidey sighed.
Spidey: "I was being... Never mind. Maybe... background noise wouldn't hurt here and there. Alright, Spidey... time to test out my social skills."
Spidey took a deep breath, before walking towards Adam, who was in a... questionable state.
Spidey: "Uh..."
Adam: "Huh? Oh... It's you... what do you want?"
Spidey: "Well, I have... time to kill, so might as well check how you're doing."
Adam: "Well, if you would like to know... Then buzz off. Leave me the hell alone."
Spidey: "Okay then..."
Spidey sighs in defeat, before walking off, but Karen intervenes once more.
Karen: "Peter. Out of everyone, you are seemingly the last person I would ever see walking away from someone in need. Even if that someone is most likely insane. So go back, help him out."
Spidey: "Hmm... Well, since everyone here is a... mix between people and animals, maybe something can help me grab his attention... Alright, time to grab the bull by its horns."
Karen: "Puns?"
Spidey: "Yes. Gotta try to find some way to keep my already low spirits from shooting down to... well, to be in absolute despair, so puns!"
Karen: "If it works..."
And like that, spidey walked right back to adam, who looked up and started getting pissed.
Adam: "Can't you understand... that I want to be left alone?"
Spidey: "Oh that part I can understand, I suppose the only question is... why? Why are you so... sad? What could have happened to make you so sad?"
Adam: "Tch... As if I'm telling you."
SPidey: "Is it Blake?"
Adam: "..."
Spidey: "Bingo. What about Blake is making you so..."
Karen: "Pathetic?"
SPidey: "Depressing?"
Adam: "Ugh... can't you... bug off? Plus, didn't Felicia tell you?"
Spidey: "Well...no. Not really."
Adam: "That little... alright. Blake and I used to..."
Spidey: "Don't tell me..."
Adam: "We used to date. I asked her out once when we were younger, and well... it just went off from there. And... then..."
Spidey: "Was it the train mission you two were talking about? What even happened?"
Adam: "Well... To say at the very least, things didn't go too well. She cut the train's breaks. Almost destroyed the train, leaving me behind. It... I don't know why she left. I can't understand..."
Spidey: "So a case of broken heart..? I can relate to that."
Adam: "Tch. Yeah right... buzz off now, you're pissing me off."
Spidey: "No really, I can. I asked a girl out once. She was... the girl of my dreams, but her dad was... evil. So... I had to stop him. So imagine that. Having to fight your girlfriend's father. That just... sucks. So... I can sort of understand why you're... why you're in so much pain. But, hey. Sometimes all you need is... a friend. If not a friend, an associate. Someone."
Adam: "And what. Are you proposing that... we become friends or something?"
Spidey: "Well... no. As of right now, no way. But, maybe when you feel better, it might be nice to.. vent a little. So... Yeah"
Adam: "..."
Spidey: "Well... See ya."
Spidey began walking away, while Adam sighed, before looking at his hands. Now, he was confused. Whether or not he hated Blake for leaving him, or betraying the cause. Or maybe... hating Blake was... a waste of time.
Side story complete! And Spidey heard... a completion noise. Oh well. His mind began to wander a bit. He contemplated whether or not he spent his time in a good manner, but, at the same time, he didn't have to worry about time at least, that's what he thought. But, he decided to do something new. something
A few hours passed, but time seemed to come to a standstill for Peter. But, maybe he had an idea of something to do... Spidey pulled out the scroll he was given... somewhat struggling a bit. Before moving himself to the messages. Spidey's eyes rolled when seeing that name Felicia gave herself.
Spidey: "Party Hardy... Well, I suppose it's not the weirdest name I've had on my phone... Well, let's see what she has to say..."
Party Hardy: "Well, I've finished all I had to do. What about you?"
Spidey looked around, but... he failed at whatever he had to do. Find some allies. There was... maybe adam? No, if anything, Adam was loyal to the white fang, through and through. So... it appears that all he's going to work with is the iron spider suit, and... Felicia.
Spidey: "All right. Time to get ready."
Spidey began texting a reply to her.
Spidey: "I'm good. Say... if you're out right now, could you do something for me?"
Felicia: "Alright. Well... Fine. Whatcha need me to do?"
Peter: "Well, seeing as I couldn't find any allies... sorry about that. I was thinking, could you bring me some... materials? Tech parts, metals, anything. I need materials. I've got some... ideas."
Felicia: "Well... fine. I'll see what I can get for you. I'll be out and about for a while. Remember our plan... right? We move at night?"
Spidey: "Yeah. We move at night."
Felicia: "Well. Get to it."
Spidey put away his scroll and got to work. He began walking around the white fang base, trying to find anything. A weak point, anything. Then he noticed.
Spidey: "A sniper tower... More than one to be exact... maybe 4... Karen?"
Karen: "Locations noted."
Spidey: "Great."
Spidey began to explore some more, actually finding a map, a map explaining where everything is. At least, where the basics are.
Spidey: "Mess hall... weapons storage... server farmer... dust storage too... There's also a throne room.. that's most likely where Sienna would be... Gotta find a way to make sure she stays there long enough to complete the only goals I have in mind... Get any information I can to cripple the white fang, and escape. And get the hell out of here. With Felicia in tow. Alright... I've seen everything I need to see. Time to get to planning..."
Hours passed, with Peter, now back in the little tent, preparing as much as he could, while Felicia sat on her bed, listening to music. Peter was crafting all sorts of gadgets. Wholesome of these were pretty shoddily made together, I mean, could you blame him? He did the best with whatever he could. To him, it wasn't too difficult to craft these tools.
'I did create my web-shooters... and took tons of workshop classes... these aren't as high quality as I want, but, it'll work at the very least. Long enough..."
Peter thought to himself. Noting what every single one of these gadgets should do.
'Sure, the iron spider suit does get the job done, but tons of web combos are one thing, gadgets are another.'
Felicia: "Peter... are you done yet? You've been at that for hours."
Peter: "I know I know, but... with a few more tweaks here and there... and... there! I'm done."
Felicia: "Alright... what did you get for me, Peter?"
Peter: "Well... seeing as this is going to involve the both of us, I've decided to create these bad boys."
Peter moves aside, showing a few gadgets. Among the tools used to create them, lies trip mines, what seems to be web grenades, and something that, even with her technical finesse, she found a bit strange.
Felicia: "Well, explain to me what these things are."
Peter: "Well, these are web grenades. I think you know how grenades work. Throw it at someone, and it causes an explosion of web fluid. Thanks to the iron spider suit, I've got tons of it. So, anything you throw this at anything, and it'll get a face full of webbing. And these are trip mines. It causes a line of the web to shoot at the person it detects, and it slams them to a wall. Making sure they can't move an inch."
Felicia: "These all sound... incredibly useful. What about that?"
Felicia pointed at the last few gadgets there. And Peter turned around, having a grave look on his face.
Peter: "These are our last stand of defense, if everything goes wrong, these can get someone out of a jam. Let's say for example that you're cornered by a group of white fang soldiers. Or grunts? I'm not sure what you call them. Anyways... This is a suspension matrix. This causes anyone in the radius to temporarily float up for a while. giving you either time to strike hard and fast, or run like hell."
Felicia: "Wow, pretty handy tech here spider. And all of these are built with scraps?"
Peter: "Yeah actually! I mean, If I had more time or better resources I could make these much more effective but, it'll work. I know it."
Felicia: "Well somebody's got some confidence now."
Peter: "Well of course. It's now or never."
Felicia: "I'm... sorry for dragging you into this."
Peter: "You're not dragging me into this. Well, I mean you technically are but... that's beside the point."
Felicia: "Here."
Felicia handed over something to peter. What seemed to resemble a USB.
Peter: "And this is..?"
Felicia: "Everything on Blake. How she fights, what her semblance is, everything. Along with strategies."
Peter: "Why are you giving me this? It reads like a contingency plan. Felicia?"
Felicia: "Well... it's more of a... Well, what if one of us makes it out of here? And what if it's you? Blake doesn't know you as well as I do and seeing as you're sort of allied with us, maybe she'll fight you off. And well, maybe it wouldn't hurt to keep one step ahead of her."
Peter: "Giving me a plan on how to kick your friend's butt? Well... Wow. Okay."
Felicia: "Look. I don't want to see Blake kick you around just because you don't know, or want to fight back."
Peter: "Hmm... good point. Okay, well, Karen, scan it for me?"
Karen: "Already doing it."
Peter: "Nice. Now, are you ready?"
Felicia: "You sound far too excited to be breaking into a decently fortified base."
Peter: "Oh no. I've been freaking about my entire life for the past 3 days, I'm pretty much losing it. But oh well."
Felicia: "..."
Peter: "I'm kidding! At least, I think so. But come on, let's go. You know what to do, right?"
Felicia: "You explained it to me pretty clearly, so."
The black cat walked along the rooftop of the white fang base. Clinging to the ledges of the sides of a few buildings. The heavy rain was slowly beginning to mess with how she clings to surfaces, but she doesn't mind. She likes a challenge. Finally activating her semblance.
Black cat: "Time for... an advanced technique."
Her semblance was difficult to notice, at least to an untrained eye. Her semblance allows her to fully become one with the shadows. She becomes silent, like a cat. The only thing she has to actively worry about is her eyes. The only possible counter to this is to shine a light on her. Or better yet, shine the whole room with light. It makes her stick out like a sore thumb. But of course, someone else was dealing with the spotlights...
And that one person is spider-man. While she was sneakily making her way to the main building, spidey was busy with something else, that something else is a distraction.
Black cat: "How's it going out there spider?"
Spider-man: "Hmm... I don't know. There doesn't seem to be anyone around the courtyard. Everything's a bit too empty. And worse yet, my spider-sense hasn't tingled yet."
Black cat: "Well, maybe the rain's messing with it?"
Spider-man: "No, no that's not it. The rain never messes with my spider-sense."
Black Cat: "Well, keep trying to catch attention, but don't get cocky. You need to escape from here too."
Spider-Man: "Got it. Tell me if anything goes sideways, okay?"
Black cat: "Yeah yeah, no need to tell me twice."
As Black cat entered the building, she was attempting silent takedowns on some of the guards. Some of the guards were heavily armed, and she knew that taking them on would most likely be nothing more than a death sentence. So, the silence was the name of the game here.
Of course, she had her ways to knock someone out, the easy way, and the hard way. Easy would be having knock-out gas available. But of course, she doesn't. So, all she could do was knock them out and hide the unconscious body. As she moved along the halls, there was one thing she noticed. The history of the white fang seems... a bit off. She walked past the murals, painted by Faunus who were appreciative of the white fang. But even from then, to now, they always put the white fang in bright light. Something wasn't adding up.
It wouldn't take a genius to realize that... the white fang had altered history in some way. At least, the history of the faunus who didn't have access to the mainland was concerning.
Black cat: "That didn't happen... this was altered... what's going on here?"
?: "I don't think you should exactly be here."
Black cat: "Huh?"
The black cat turned around to see something that horrified her, Sienna. With what seemed to be a whole army of white fang behind her.
Sienna: "Oh Felicia. Please tell me you didn't believe this foolish plan of yours could have been successful. I mean, think about it, doesn't everything seem a bit too... convenient?"
And like that, the horrified look of realization was on Felicia's face. Black cat began breathing a bit heavy, before making a risky choice. She quickly turned the other way, and began running, leaving one of those suspension matrixes' behind.
Black cat: "spider! Spider! We've been caught! At this point, fighting the base's defenses has a lower chance of us biting the dust than fighting an army of white fang soldiers!"
Spider-man: "I- Can- Signal- interfer-"
Blck cat; "Oh dammit. Whatever's going on is seriously messing with the comms... alright spider, I'm coming to you."
And as she turned a corner and saw... spider-man?
Black Cat: "Spider? Oh good. Come on! Wait, how'd you get here anyway..?"
This 'Spider-man' turned around, before throwing a hard right hook, disorientating Black cat, before grabbing her shoulders, and thrusting his knee right up to her stomach, sending her back into a nearby wall, throwing another punch, which black cat barely dodged. The punch made a massive crack in the wall. The black cat looked at it and was horrified to think about what would've happened if she couldn't dodge. She pushed 'Spider-Man' away, trying to make some distance between the two.
Black cat: "Gah... what the hell! I thought we were in this together! This was your damn plan!"
'Spider-man': "..."
Black cat: "Say something to me dammit!"
'Spider-man': "Be careful what you wish for..."
Black cat: "Huh GAH!"
And like that, her body fell to the floor, behind her was Sienna, who was holding her weapon, electricity crackling off it.
Sienna: "And like that, we're done here. Thank you... chameleon."
The fake Spider-man's body began to glitch out, before molding itself back into its original form. A chameleon Faunus.
Chameleon: "Eh, it's no problem. Anything for my favorite customer. Now come on... you paid a decent amount of lien for me. All you wanted me to do is beat on a teenager?"
Sienna: "No no, of course not. You see, it's the person who cares for this teenager that is my interest. SPider-man. A spider Faunus somehow can seemingly blend in with humans as easily as you do. So, if it's not obvious if I have him under my control..."
Chameleon: "Ah... I see where you're going here."
Sienna: "Now, do me a favor... change into her. And instead of chasing after the spider, let us allow him to come to us."
Sienna and Chameleon began to walk off, as Adam came, and began to drag the black cat off.
Adam: "You're one of us... what exactly are we doing..?"
And like that, the seeds of doubt may have been created.
Spider-man was on a rooftop, tapping his ear over and over.
Spider-Man: "Cat? Cat? Felicia! Come on answer me dammit! Alright, now something's gone wrong."
And like that, an unwanted voice began to speak in Spider-man's ear.
Sienna: "I'm afraid that Felicia can't come to the phone right now. Can I pass a message?"
SPider-Man: "SIenna? What the hell did you do to Felicia?!"
Sienna: "Well, I'll make this easy for you. You know where to come. Then, we can talk about what's going to happen. But may I remind you. You are in no way to threaten me. Because the life of your dear friend is in my hands."
And then something interesting happened, many of the outer defenses began to shut down. Including air, and sea defenses.
Sienna: "Or, you can easily leave. Leave Felicia with me, and you can walk free. Better yet, you won't have to worry about the white fang either. So come on Hero, what's your choice?"
Spider-man looked at his hands. Another chance to look out for himself, and get away, but then he remembered.
Uncle Ben: "With great power, must come great responsibility."
Spider-man made up his mind, before racing towards the building where Sienna held Felicia hostage.
Spider-man: "You made this personal, and now, I'm mad, pissed off. Here I come, Sienna."
Spider-man took a deep breath, before beginning to web swing towards where Felicia was being held. He didn't care if he had to fight an army of Faunus or not. If he goes down, he'll go down swinging.
And like that, spider-man stood in front of the imposing tower, he sighed, before re-affirming his resolve. As he barged through the door, he noticed that no one else was there. Which only made his spider-sense ring louder.
Spider-man: "Okay, okay! I get it. I'm in danger. Thank you for the obvious. Although I do have to give credit to sienna where it's due, this place doesn't look half bad. It could give a run for his money in decorations..."
Spider-man looked around, seeing that there were elevators available for use, as he walked over, he pushed the button, and... waited.
Spider-man: "This is kind of... anti-climatic. But seeing as the stairs are closed off, with some metal guard, might as well."
As the elevator arrived, only one button was able to be pressed, SPider-man pressed it.
Spider-man: "It doesn't take a dummy to figure out hey! That's where I need to go! Man, I'll be honest. Optimism can only go so far, and I'm starting to hate it here."
Once the elevator arrived at its destination, Spider-man exited it, looking around, still being very quiet. And with many of the doors having their lights turned off, spidey soon entered a room, finding what seemed to be sienna sitting down to an unconscious Felicia, who was now unmasked.
Sienna: "Hello there Spider-man."
SPider-man: "Sienna. Let Felicia go, and maybe I'll consider not bashing your face in."
Sienna: "Making threats already? Come, sit down. I only want to talk."
Spider-man: "I prefer to stand, thank you very much."
Sienna: "Oh well, your choice. Now, I would like to know, why are you and her so adamant about escaping from here? From the white fang?"
Spider-man: "Oh you know, nothing too major. Just the fact that you drugged me to get here, and then, there's the one major red flag that made me realize that no, you aren't freedom fighters, if anything, you're making things much worse. You people kill. And I'm sorry, no way in HELL will I ever work with murders. And then there's Blake."
Sienna: "Don't you dare say that name ever. That traitor will deserve what's coming to her soon enough."
Spider-man: "And what is that supposed to mean?"
Sienna: "None of your concern."
Spider-man: "She left and someone covered it up as a mission went bad. If people have to go that far just to get away from here, that's something I'd notice. Plus, I don't want people to be afraid of spider-man. And you're going to turn spider-man into nothing but a weapon."
Sienna: "Are you done?"
Spider-man: "One last thing. You say the white fang and humanity are so different from each other. But the way I see it is when you are compared to even the worst people I've ever known, both of you are so alike. You both love weapons, and claim that all this pain and suffering is for some 'noble' cause."
Sienna: "SILENCE!"
Spider-man: "Ooh, struck a didn't I?"
Sienna: "Ahem. Well, thank you for letting me know. And now..."
Spider-man's spider-sense began to ring before every door in the room was now being filled up with white fang soldiers. And A white fang lieutenant who was wielding a massive chainsaw. The lieutenant charged at spidey, and spidey rolled along with the slice, falling to the ground.
Spider-man: "I should've known... A trap. C'mon guys! I thought you white fang people have this weird 'brotherhood' thing to you guys. DOn't attack a fellow white fang member here?"
Sienna: "In the eyes of everyone here, you just left the fang. You're a traitor now."
Spider-man smirked, before slowly getting on his feet.
Spider-man: "Just what I wanted to hear... "
Spider-man quickly moved towards the same lieutenant who attacked him, quickly punching him hard in the gut, before uppercutting him with enough force to launch him.
Sienna: "YOu fool. He outranks you."
SPider-man: "Didn't you hear? I'm just another civilian now. You said so yourself. I'm a traitor."
Sienna: "Tch. Well then. I guess I've fallen in the spider's web. But now, let's play a game. If you can, and I highly doubt that'll happen, but if you can make it to the top, which is about 5 floors up, then maybe we can finish our discussion. Now, you all have your orders!"
Sienna grabbed the unconscious Felicia, dragging her unconscious body out of the building.
Spider-man: "Well you heard the boss... come at me."
Bonesaw: "Hope you're ready to die."
Spider-man: "No regrets here... Now come at me!"
Spider-man quickly looked around, trying to find anything that could give him the advantage he needed,
Alright... nails... salt? Hmm... Well, that could really do a lot of damage... and from what I've seen, the people are tough nuts to crack. Alright then... I'll still hold back a little. I don't know who I might hurt... a little too much.
Spider-man quickly moved toward the long couch, quickly picking it up from one side, before beginning to swing it around, creating distance between the two. After swinging it for a bit, it eventually broke.
SPider-man: "Okay. Come on, guys! I thought you would try harder than that!"
Bonesaw: "Oh trust me... You'll be screaming when we're done here."
SPider-man: "You're going to make me scream? Please, at the very least take me to dinner first!"
Grunt 1: "Shut him up!"
Spider-man: "Spider arms, don't fail me now!"
And the spider arms popped out, beginning to keep the grunts at bay, at least, to keep them from ganging up on him from behind. Spider-man quickly grabbed the nearby salt, before throwing it at the impromptu army. He made sure to throw it in the eyes. He doesn't fight dirty, but in this case, he doesn't mind. While some of the grunts were down, he quickly moved to grab one by the legs and began to spin, using his body to attack the others. By now, the only grunt standing was the lieutenant with the chainsaw.
Bonesaw: "Alright, now that it's just you and me, I'll rip you to shreds."
Spider-man: "Oh no, I'm so afraid. You know, having a chainsaw isn't scaring me here. In fact..."
Spider-man shot a web line at the chainsaw, before having the lieutenant dodge, grabbing the web, before pulling spider-man along with it, attempting an attack,
before having spider-man narrowly dodge it, before using the momentum to wrap his legs around the lieutenant's head, and spinning around and around, using the lieutenant's massive body against him, before using the force to flip the lieutenant t down on the floor. Now dazed, Spider-man used the opportunity to start moving.
Exiting the room showed that the once empty halls were now filled with men, now too many, but decently sized ones for sure, and some using guns. Spider-man took a deep breath, before using a move he had seen once before, using his speed to seem like a blur, punching one enemy, but moving onto the next one, taking 4 down at once. The grunt with the gun tried aiming at the spider-man, before seeing that spider-man was right in front of him. Spider-man moved fast, grabbing the arm that he was using to hold the gun, as he pulled his knee back, before shooting it upwards, dislocating his elbow, and forcing him to let go of the gun.
As he began to move up the stairs, his spider-sense tingled again, quickly turning around to see the lieutenant charging at him again, shooting a web line at his head, pulling the lieutenant right to Spider-man before quickly kicking him away.
Spider-man: "Stay down already!"
Spider-man moved onto the next floor.
Spider-man: "2 floors down, 3 more to go."
As spider-man moved onto the 2nd floor, he looked around, seeing that the place seemingly resembled a massive kitchen.
SPider-man: "Well, I was wondering where all the food came from. This place is so massive. As it should be to feed a massive... army? Or cult, at this point I'm beginning to think the white fang is both of those things. Now... What the, now what?"
As his spider-sense began to tingle, he quickly looked behind him to see the lieutenant once again, charging at him. With the same chainsaw, he had before.
spider-man: "Okay that's it!"
Spider-man quickly dodged under the chainsaw, before swiftly kicking the lieutenant in... the groin. Before quickly getting up, and throwing a hard punch towards his face, but the lieutenant attempted to block the attack with his chainsaw, but when Spider-man's fist collided, the chainsaw shattered, and the fist collided with his face, causing a massive crack into his mask, sending him back in a few kitchen pans. And to add insult to injury, spider-man shot a few webs, before tugging on the stand, causing all of the pans to fall onto the lieutenant.
Spider-man: "Stay. Down."
Spider-man began taking a minute, as he was panting a bit. Sure, having incredible stamina is one thing, having to fight a lot of guys just begins to pile up on you. But of course, he didn't rest long, leaving the kitchen, finding that the only exit was through what seemed to be a fire escape.
Spider-man: "Short cut, nice."
But the 'shortcut' wasn't as short as about a dozen of white fang grunts came out what seemed to be, out of nowhere.
Spider-man: "Guys please, aren't you guys getting tired yet? How many more of there are you?!"
And so, the fight began again, but Spider-man tried something different, he dashed towards one of the grunts, grabbing them, and picking them up by the collar, and threw them off the side of the building. And that shocked the other grunts. But not long after the grunt fell, he was attached to a wall. One of Spider-man's signature web bombs.
Spider-man: "What? I'm not a killer."
One thing that was starting to rear its ugly head is that spider-man began to slow down, he was still fast, but it was starting to hinder. Spider-man didn't really have good experience fighting large crowds. And very long battles like these were... draining. But he kept fighting. Of course, he still threw a decent amount of the grunts off the railing. Never let any of the grunts hit the floor, but he was making sure that if anything, he sure was scaring them.l
And as he reached the top, he was finally on the 5th floor. As he tried to open the door, he realized that... it wouldn't open. He looked around and saw a nearby window.
Spider-man: "I bet Captain America doesn't have to do these things..."
Spider-man took a step back, before charging at the rail, placing a foot on top of it, using the momentum to boost himself forward and crash into... a bathroom. The worst part is that a few of the grunts were still using the bathroom. Thankfully, only a handful was there. About 3.
Spider-man: "Oh you have to be kidding me..."
Grunt: "Get him!"
And thus their battle began again. And he wasn't hesitant to grab one of the grunts and shove them in one of the bathroom stalls, and webbing the door shut.
Spider-man: "Take time out, why don't you?"
As he continued to throw punches, he mixed a few kicks in there as well, quickly grabbing one of the grunts, before headbutting him once, and pulling back more with each time, before headbutting him with enough to make him fall. The third one threw a punch, but quickly using the wall behind him, he grabbed his arm, using the grunt's momentum, along with adding his own, shoving his face into a wall, before getting off the grunt, and landing one hard kick to the shins. And with the room empty, Spider-man's face was getting to having an expression of annoyance. The lieutenant charged at Spider-man with a knife. Spider-man dodged, grabbing his arm, and repeating the move he pulled off with the gun wielders. Using this moment, spider-man pulls the lieutenant down and begins slamming his head into a wall. Finally before shoving him towards the broken window, and, with a running start, he charged at the lieutenant, and dropkicked him out a window. Of course, not letting him die, he webs his hands together, having him dangle off the edge.
Spider-man: "You can... probably break those, but I wouldn't recommend it."
Spider-man sighed, sure, the iron spider suit couldn't break, but his body began to hurt, and ache. He was absolutely exhausted. But he kept moving forward, exiting the bathroom, and seeing what appeared to be a dojo-esque building.
Spider-man: "It doesn't take a fool to know where I need to go."
And spider-man moved towards the dojo's entrance, finally seeing Sienna's face again, kneeled over, tying Felicia tied up to a wall.
Spider-man: "Sienna..."
Sienna: "Oh, spider-man. I thought you would have died by now. Oh well. I was hoping you wouldn't."
Sienna slowly stood up, before beginning to swing her electrified whip around, having it crackle on the ground where it struck.
Sienna: "I think those fools downstairs gave you the wrong idea. You see, in the white fang, brotherhood, and fighting for the cause are everything. You don't do what you just did. Get along with everyone, only to betray them at the last moment."
Sienna pulled out a second whip, cracking them around some more. One thing was for certain, she sure was putting whiplash to shame.
Sienna: "I think you know where I'm going with this. I'm going to handle you myself. And I'm going to enjoy it."
Spider-man: "Are you... done yet? Because I am done with this white fang business. You wanna fight? Come on, I'm waiting."
Spider-man positioned himself into a battle pose. Sienna did the same.
Sienna: "Oh yeah?"
Spider0man: "Oh my god, shut up already! Let's get this over with!"
Sienna: "Poor spider-man. He can quip it out, but he just can't take it. Let's go."
And thus, their battle began, with Sienna making the first move, swinging one of the whips around, using the other one to defend herself, preventing spider-man from getting close, spider-man shot a web, narrowly missing one of Sienna's legs as she dodged.
Sienna: "Not gonna happen."
Spider-man tried to circle around her, before having Sienna slash his face. Now his mask was damaged. Revealing part of his eye, and parts of his hair to her.
Sienna: "The face behind the mask, glad to meet you."
Spider-man: "Can't say the same. With how awful you are."
Spider-man tried to dodge through sienna's whips, before getting up close and personal, attempting a wheel kick, successfully knocking sienna off balance, for giving spider-man the opening to trying a new move.
Spider-man: "Showtime!"
Spider-man ran up to, jumping on, and off a nearby wall, and kicked sienna in the face, while airborne. Sending Sienna backward.
Spider-man: "Holy crap... okay. I didn't think that would actually work."
Sienna: "Keep your head in the fight!"
Spider-man: "Fine then!"
Sienna reacted to the whips, now wearing them like gauntlets, before charging at spider-man, as he blocked, sienna threw a hard punch, before spider-man narrowly dodged it, throwing a fist under sienna's arm, before punching her in the face again, sending her back.
Sienna: "Bring it dammit!"
She threw another punch, and as spider-man moved to the side, he threw a hard punch at Sienna's side, before pulling his arm back, as he moved his body back, smacking sienna in the back of the head, before pulling a fist back, before uppercutting sienna, sending her back.
Sienna: "That's what I'm talking about! You can fight ferociously! Like a beast."
Spider-man began panting, as sienna began throwing punches, hard punches. Spider-man dodged a few, before getting a hard knee to the stomach. As he fell to the ground for a short while, sienna attempted to stomp on his head but failed as spider-man rolled away. And then, the two of them clashed, throw a punch at the other's face. As the recoil pushed them both back, Sienna used this time to wrap one of her whips around Spider-man's arm.
Spider-man: "GAH!"
Sienna: "You aren't invincible you bastard... Now... Enough games!"
Sienna threw another whip, now attempting to choke spider-man to death.
Sienna: "This little fight was fun. But now I'm done playing games!"
Spider-man began to groan in pain, as he fell to his knees, but tried thinking fast, shooting an acidic web ball at sienna's whips, allowing him to break free from it.
Spider-man: "Enough with the whips!"
Sienna: "You're right. I don't need weapons to kill you!"
Sienna charged at spider-man, before beginning to beat onto the wall-crawler, but spider-man began to throw punches back, the two exchanging blows before sienna uppercut the wall-crawler, forcing him back. As she yelled...
Sienna: "WHAT'S WRONG SPIDER-MAN?"
She threw a hard punch at Spider-man's face. Before Spider-man flared to life once more, screaming...
Spider-man: "I'M SO DONE WITH YOU!"
Spider-man used the rest of his might to throw a punch at sienna, sending her back. And then sienna fell to one knee.
Sienna: "Dammit... damn you!"
Spider-man stood over sienna, barely being able to stand, panting heavily. If he had to fight one more white fang member, he most likely wouldn't have made it.
?: "Now what's going on here?"
Sienna: "Uh oh."
One of the sliding doors opened up, to reveal a few guests not even Spider-man expected. One of those members was... Adam. He was joined by what seemed to be a woman whose clothing was a mix of anime girl, and samurai. Her hair was very dark, her eyes had a unique look to them, the irises being a light red.
Sienna: "Haha! You two! My brother and sister, please, give me an assist here. Take this little bastard out!"
Spider-man, about to collapse, slowly raised his fists upwards.
Spider-man: "Come on guys... if you get back up don't I get the 'phone a friend' option here?"
The two white fang members slowly moved apart, to allow a third person to enter the building. One of the more notable features of this tall faunus was the fact he seemingly was not wearing a shirt, but he did have black boots with steeled tips, beige pants, and a purple coat over his body. He also had a... decent amount of chest hair and one massive beard.
'I'm completely washed up... if I have to fight him I'd be done for... Come on Felicia... wake up! I need some backup here! wait, what?'
Sienna quickly got on her hands and knees, bowing at the feet of... whoever this was.
Sienna: "Boss!"
Spider-man: "Boss?"
'Oh great. Even she has a boss.'
?: "Please Sienna. No need for theatrics. You can call me by my full name."
Sienna: "Oh. Well... to what do I owe this pleasure... Ghira belladonna."
Ghira: "Well... I came to check in with you. I thought this fight was a one-on-one battle, Sienna. I won't have you make a fool of yourself. Besides, Weren't you the one who proposed allowing this spider faunus to join our ranks? And now here you are. Most of the white fang reserves are now either unconscious or stuck to walls. And with all of that backup, you couldn't beat a child?"
Spider-man: "It's spider-MAN."
Ghira: "You. I hear you went through an entire building of men. You sound like a fool to me. And for what? What was all of this for?"
Spider-man: "I actually came to Sienna about that. I came to... tell her that I don't want a part of the white fang either. Neither does her."
Spider-man pointing to the unconscious Felicia.
Spider-man: "I hoped that this could be talked out. Please. Let me and her leave."
Sienna: "You think that would go by so easily?! Don't worry... I'll take care of him, you won't worry about him anymore."
Sienna began to get up, stumbling, but was interrupted by Ghira.
Ghira: "Stand down Sienna. Do you really intend to harm a pair of civilians?"
Sienna & Spider-man: "What?!"
Ghira: "I was intending to come here for some time. I hear you've been running the white fang here a bit more differently than how the rest of us do."
"WHAT? There are more bases like this? No way... I hoped I could put a dent into the white fang... Guess I barely made a scratch...'
Ghira: "You use brutality rather than peace. You decided on your own to mark spider-man and Felicia as traitors on your own. There is a chain of command that we must follow, fool!"
Sienna: "I didn't-"
?: "So now you're lying. Tsk Tsk Sienna."
Sienna: "Branwen...!"
Adam: "I had... also gotten news from here before any fighting started. She brought me into her private quarters and began bragging about how she had known there was a traitor amidst us and placed the traitor onto spider-man. With little to no evidence. Or something like that... isn't that right Sienna?"
Ghira: "I rest my case. Now, in these circumstances... The light shines on you as the traitor here. And that... wouldn't be very pleasant. I would have you cut off one of your fingers. But I won't make you do that. Instead, I'll have Adam here, promoted to your level. You both will share the title of commander here from this day onward. Do you understand!"
Sienna: "Yes... boss."
Ghira: "Now leave us. I have something to discuss with this... spider-man..."
Sienna and Adam began to walk to the entrance, before shooting spider-man a dirty look. She hated spider-man. She hated him. But, she left the room, closing the door behind her.
Ghira: "You know where to wait for me, and we can begin a discussion about the proposal you have between your clan and mine."
The samurai sighed, before nodding her head and leaving the room empty.
Ghira: "Now all there is left, are you. Spider-man."
And then, something even more surprising happened.
Ghira: "Apologies for all of that. I never would have guessed that Sienna would've done something like that to you if it weren't for Adam. Having you run a gauntlet. But, still. Her words do stand. As of today... Spider-man, and Felicia Hardy, get the hell out of here. You two are no longer members of the white fang. Leave here at once."
Ghira then... winked at spider-man. But, spider-man quickly had a feeling that this tough guy was part of Ghira... may have been nothing more than a facade. He pressed a button on his watch, disabling the shock collar that was placed around Felicia's neck.
Spider-man: "Thank you. So... much."
Ghira: "I must ask though. Why did you go through all of this to... leave the white fang?"
Spider-man thought to himself for a minute. He had to look at his bruised hands, wondering... why did he do this, but he looked over to Felicia and said his answer.
Spider-man: "I... made an oath to someone a long time ago. With great power... must come great responsibility. I couldn't leave Felicia with Sienna. I couldn't even imagine what she would've done to her."
A long silence fell upon the room. Before being interrupted by.. Ghira's stomach rumbling and him yawning afterward.
Ghira: "Oh well... I can't say I expected coming here this early for something so trivial as this. Nonetheless, it's time for breakfast. Oh, and spider-man?"
Spider-man: "Huh?"
Ghira: "I heard that you received a communication from my daughter."
'Uh oh.'
Spider-man: "You're daughter...?"
Ghira: "Blake. Blake belladonna. I have one request for you. Find her. What you do from there is... up to you. But I suggest you leave here. Before the unconscious white fang members attempt to take you out."
Spider-man: "Oh dammit. Leaving, got it."
Spider-man walked over to Felicia's body, before picking it up, and leaving the dojo.
Spider-man didn't have time to take anything from the white fang. At least, that's what he wanted it to look like. As he walked through the dirt road, he remembered one tiny little detail he left out.
Spider-man paused before making his way to the building. He slowly walked towards the data building. Attaching a spider-tracer, which was modified to do one thing. Transfer data to Karen.
Spider-man: "Think they'll ever notice our little surprise? And are you getting anything yet?"
Karen: "The database is massive. It'll take me a while."
Spider-man: "Good. I'm exhausted..."
Felicia: "You could let me go now."
Spider-man: "AH!"
Spider-man almost let Felicia fall, before catching her, and placing her on a nearby tree.
Felicia: "What... happened?"
Spider-man: "Well, long story short, both you and me, are free from the white fang's reach. Thanks to... Ghira belladonna."
Felicia: "No way, the big man visited? I can't believe he was the one who set us free..."
Spider-man: "Technically, Sienna marked us both as traitors, he just complied with it. A bit nicer than I would've expected."
Felicia: "Now... we begin to hunt for blake. Say, did the big man say anything of interest to you?"
Ghira: "FInd my daughter. You know where to look."
SPider-man: "Not that I know of. How do we even find blake...?"
Felicia: "We split up.
Spider-man: "What? No way. I did not just fight through a massive building to lose you right away."
Felicia: "You... what?"
Spider-man: "Fought through a gauntlet of white fang members."
Felicia: "Well, we'll never be apart. Because as the saying goes, you'll never know when you cross the black cat."
Spider-man: "Will I... ever see you again?"
Felicia: "Of course you will spider."
Spider-man: "Where do I... even go now...?"
Felicia: "Here."
Felicia passed a few couple liens to spider-man. Who took off his mask to reveal an exhausted Peter Parker.
Peter: "What's this for?"
Felicia: "Clothes. And a bullhead ride to... the island of Patch. From there, you can grab another bullhead to... Vale. And from there, that's up to you. Now... see you later spider."
Felicia began to walk away before running off into the woods.
Peter: "See you later Felicia..."
Peter stood up, before continuing his walk to the main town. Once there, he sneaked into a local clothing shop and bought whatever was the best he could find. A white t-shirt saying 'I survived my trip to menagerie', some pants, shoes, the whole disguise. As his suit hid under his clothes, he left, paying the shop owner.
Peter: "Real original..."
Peter began making his way to the bullhead station, before ordering a ticket for the next bullhead to patch. Before taking a seat in the bullhead, passing out, not too long after. But, what he didn't notice, is that he wasn't alone. A few seats behind him sat… Felicia Hardy. Who's appearance began to transform itself into… the chameleon. They pulled out their scroll, beginning to contact… Sienna.
Chameleon: "And like that… we've fooled them all."
Sienna: "Excellent… One step closer to take Ghira out of the picture. So… who is the man behind the mask?"
Chameleon: "I've sent you a picture of his face. Now, do I keep following him?"
Sienna: "Yes and no. Keep tabs on him. Then unite with the Vale faction of the white fang. From there, wait for my instructions. Ghira has made this harder for both of us, prompting Adam. But that's for me to worry... "
Chameleon: "And Felicia? What of her?"
Sienna: "Oh her… I'm gonna be having some fun with her… would you like to hear her sing?"
Chameleon: "No thanks. I'll let you know what happens soon."
Sienna: "Keep me updated."
To be continued...
And like that, it's chapter 3! I am so sorry for not making this longer (or better).
