"...So you have summoned me. Berserker, Morgan. The Queen of the Fairy World, and the one who continuously curses Pan-Human History. If you have no issues with that, then I shall lend you my powers as a Servant. There's no changing the fact that I am a Queen. As such, I expect you to work properly as my vassal. Or would you rather be treated as my husband instead?"

"...Eh? Say what?"

"...NATSU GOT HITCHED EVERYONE!"

"SHUT UP HAPPY!"

"Twenty thousand jewels!?" A busty blonde by the name of Lucy Heartfilia cried out in shock, the shop owner nodding in reply.

She was on a journey to a town known as Magnolia to try and join the most popular mage guild of all, Fairy Tail. On her way, she stopped at a town by the sea by the name of Haregon and was looking to get her hands on any Celestial Spirit Keys she doesn't have. It took her some time, because apparently there was only one magic store in Haregon, and to find a key she didn't have. But the owner then announced the price for it. 20,000 jewels. That's enough to rent at an inn for three days!

She desperately wanted the key, but she wasn't willing to pay the fine for it too. It seems she has no choice...

Sex appeal, activate!

"Are you sure about that~?" She sat down on the counter, making her lips puff out as she gave him a wink. "What's the actual price, handsome~?"

"I can't believe he dropped it only by a thousand jewels!" She ranted to herself as she stomped angrily down the street. "Is my sex appeal really worth only a thousand jewels?!"

Well, she did buy the key anyway.

She huffed. Why couldn't guys recognize beauty when they see it. Look at her t*ts! They're bazookas! What kind of man wouldn't want these!?

"Achoo!" A salmon-haired teen sneezed.

"Are you alright, husband?" A calm cool feminine voice said from above him. The owner of the voice was giving the teen a lap pillow to help relieve himself from the motion sickness inside the train they are in.

"I think someone's talking about me." He answered.

"Who'd want to talk about you?" A bipedal blue cat said from the seat across from him, chewing on a fish.

"THAT'S IT! I'M TAKING AWAY THAT FISH!"

"NOOOOOOO! MY FIIIIIIIIIIISH!"

Lucy was angrily making her way to the train station when she saw a group of females run past her.

"Kyaa!"

"I can't believe it!"

"He's here!"

She heard their cry.

"Excuse me," She called out to one of them. "What's got everyone so excited about?"

"Haven't you heard?!" Seeing the blonde shake her head, the woman continued. "Salamander is here!"

"Salamander?!"

Salamander. While it is said the mage wasn't as strong as his fellow Fairy Tail members Titania or Mystogan, he was just as famous. He would go around and beat any bad guys with a unique type of fire magic so rare, you can't buy a lacrima version of it in a store. And he since he was a member of the guild she was trying to join, might as well check him out, right? Without another word, she joined the woman and ran to where 'Salamander' is.

"Phew!" The male teen stretched, carrying an enormous backpack. "So glad to be off that death trap." He turned to his female companion. "Thanks for the lap pillow, it really helped."

"Your thanks are unneeded," The female shook her head from side to side. "Alleviating my husband of his pain brings me...a pleasant sense of joy," She had a complicated look on her face. "Though I prefer it if we destroy trains and anything else that gives you dissatisfaction. As comforting as it is, giving lap pillows in public gives me a sense of embarrassment."

"I told you, we can't do that anymore," The teen told her. "We got in so much trouble before, so just forget about that."

"I refuse."

"Why is that the one thing you can't give up on!?"

"Because you are my only concern," She said resolute, her eyes burning with passion. "As long as you are safe, the rest of the world can burn in the deepest pits of hell for all I care."

"YOU SHOULD CARE ABOUT THAT!" He screamed in shock. "WHO TAUGHT YOU THOSE THINGS?! WAS IT EVERGREEN!?"

"Husband..." She trailed off before gently placing her hand on his shoulder. "I'd rather die than speak to that b*tch."

He facepalmed.

"Please try and get along with them." He sighed. Before the conversation could continue, his ears twitched as he overheard what a group of females was yelling. "Salamander?" He questioned before grinning and running off. "C'mon you guys! Igneel's here!"

"Aye, sir!" The blue cat yelled before the female picked him up and ran after him.

This was it. The road of no return. The moment she walked beyond this point. Her journey would have begun.

Deep breathes.

With one final exhale, she took a step.

From then on, her legend would be written in books.

The girl who dreamed.

The girl who hoped.

The girl who was betrayed.

The girl who was beaten.

The girl who became broken.

The legend of Tone-

Lucy eagerly followed the females with a skip in her run. She was excited. Why wouldn't she be? Salamander was a member of Fairy Tail! Little is known about his appearance, other than the fact that he is always seen with a white scarf. If she could just catch a glimpse of what he's like, she's sure that she'd see how powerful and respectable the wizards of the guild are. Spotting the crowd of women, she pushed herself through it to see him. She paused when she did.

In the middle of the crowd was a man in his twenties. He had purplish hair and an arrogant smirk on his face as he waved to the crowd of adoring fangirls.

This...this was Salamander?

Very...underwhelming.

'He doesn't look all that impressi-?!' She didn't get to finish her thoughts when the back of his hand entered her vision.

More specifically, a ring.

Her eyes gain pink hearts as she placed her hand where her beating one is. Her body quivered as she looked at the man. what was wrong with her? How couldn't she have seen how handsome he was? Were her eyes so blind? She can't get his image out of her head. Is this...is this what falling in love is like? Who was she kidding, of course, she was! Who would look at that man and not fall in love with him?

"Oi! Igneel! Igneel!" A male voice yelled.

And just like that, the hearts in her eyes disappeared.

What was...what was she doing just now? In love with that guy? She barely knows anything about him! Love is a beautiful thing that needs to be treated with the utmost care. She can't just hand it off to someone she doesn't know. So why was she so infatuated with that man? Lucy glared at him and took a closer look. When she saw the ring on his hand, she was seething with rage.

"Igneel! Igneel!" The same voice cried out. Turning in his direction, Lucy saw a pink-haired spiky teen, around her age, waving frantically to Salamander with a closed-eyed smile. " I finally found y-" He stopped in front of Salamander. The two gave each other blank stares.

"...Who are you?" Salamander did the classic anime drop. The fangirls had a more violent reaction.

"YOU!"

"HOW DARE YOU!"

"YOU M*TH*RF*CK*R!"

"DON'T DISRESPECT SALAMANDER-SAMA!"

"I'LL KILL YOU!"

...Ok a lot more violent.

"Now now ladies," Salamander brushed off the dirt off of him, giving a suave smile that made them squeal. "You are a fan correct, here." He handed the teen a whiteboard white the words 'Salamander' written on it. "My signature."

"Don't want it." The pinky immediately threw it away and walked off. Just when the fangirls were about to attack him, a smooth feminine voice spoke out.

"How disappointing, Salamander." She said. Lucy saw what was probably the most voluptuous woman in her entire life. She had long wavy brown hair that reacher her back, green eyes, red lipstick, and was wearing a very revealing pink dress. Despite how she dressed, a lance was holstered on her back.

"No way..."

"Is that...?

"It can't be...

"It is!"

"Fairy Queen!"

Fairy Queen. An alias for a Fairy Tail member that joined about a year ago. Not much is known about her. She doesn't like making public appearances, she gained the title 'Fairy Queen' after beating Titania in a battle, and from what Lucy heard, the few times she's seen are always with Salamander. The two are part of their own team apparently.

"He obviously doesn't want YOU'RE autograph," Fairy Queen smiled. "He wants MY autograph," Grabbing the whiteboard he threw, she wiped off Salamander's signature and wrote her own. "Here you go, cutie~." She handed it back to him and gave a flirtatious wink. "Salamander and I are having a party on our yacht. I would be so happy to see you there-"

"Not interested." He threw the signature and turned his back to her. Putting his hands in his pockets, he walked off with a disinterested look on his face.

"EXCUSE ME!?" Fairy Queen barked, offended.

"Now now," Salamander places a hand on Holy Sword's shoulder to try and calm her down. "Don't you think you're treating her too harshly?" He gave a disappointed look to the pinket. "She is my most beloved partner after all and the most beautiful woman in the world." He told him arrogantly. "There isn't a woman alive who surpasses her beauty!"

"Husband." Another feminine voice called out. Everyone turned to it. The blue cat in her arms was a weird sight, but everyone was stunned at her appearance. She looked like she was in her early-mid teens, but her beauty surpassed all the women present combined. Black hair ornaments shaped like a crown, a spiky blue necklace, a slender physique showed through the robes she wore, soft porcelain skin, long silver hair tied into a ponytail, a face that radiated elegance, and ice blue eyes that stared monotonously at the pinket.

While the woman was a knockout, everyone else was more shocked at what she called him.

'HUSBAND?!'

"Oh, Morgan!" The male smiled. The now named Morgan stopped in front of him.

"Natsu, you ran off too fast." The cat complained.

"Sorry," Natsu grinned, throwing his hands behind his head. "I got too excited."

"Were you able to locate your foster father?" Morgan questioned.

"Nah, wasn't him." Disappointment evident in his voice.

"Do not worry husband of mine," Morgan dropped the cat, who landed with a thud, and placed her hand on his shoulders. A fire burning in her eyes. "As your wife, I shall not rest until I have located your father. I shall be the armageddon that will burn these lands and kill everyone who stands in your-"

"You can just say you'll continue to help me." Natsu deadpanned.

"My legs..." Happy weakly cried out.

"Ah, I see. In that case..." Morgan removed her hand from his shoulder. "...Please allow me to continue to help locate your father so we may have a dragon as the guard dog of our kingdom." Natsu stared at her blankly for a moment before turning back to the pair.

"I don't know who you two are, but both of you are mistaken about one thing..." He trailed off as he walked to Morgan's side and grasped her hand.

"...THIS is the most beautiful woman in the world."

Morgan, who had somehow managed to keep a an emotionless face, had hints of pink spread across her cheeks.

Salamander and Fairy Queen's jaws dropped.

Lucy's jaw dropped.

Fangirls squealed.

Happy saw a light.

Natsu, Lucy thinks his name is, just boldly declared to two high ranking wizards that his woman is more beautiful than Fairy Queen. The fangirls who were hating on him just a few seconds ago? They were gushing at how proudly he declared his lover's beauty.

I didn't want it...

Why did it have to come to this...

I...I just wanted what's best for you...

I didn't want the throne...

Why...Why must I suffer...

Bora sweated.

This was supposed to be easy.

Pretend to be Salamander and hire a woman to be his partner, Fairy Queen, and trick these women into coming onto his boat and sell them as slaves. But there were a few...complications. The woman, Andrea he thinks her name is, he hired was famous within the Dark Guilds for being a slave trader, so no problems there. The only problem is that she has a terrible attitude. She was very narcissistic and told everyone she was the most beautiful person in the world, able to enrapture any man. He believed she could...if she fixed her attitude. The thought of selling her as a slave never crossed her mind. The buyer would pay him to keep her away.

She also hates women that others call beautiful.

For example. When one of his grunts mentioned how he would love to have Titania, she beat him up and drank all their booze and started yelling profanities at the Queen of Fairies. A sore loser who hates anyone prettier than her. If she wasn't important to his plan, he would've kicked her out.

And now which leads to his biggest problem.

Not only did that pink hair fool disregard her advances, something she hates, he said that this Morgan was even prettier than her.

Something she also hates!

If he had to be honest, the pinky was right. Morgan is way better looking than Andrea. He would definitely choose Morgan over her any day. But he can't tell her that, she might not agree to help him with his plan and blow their cover.

Something she was close to doing right now.

Her veins were bulging out of her forehead in anger as her face was red with fury. She was going to snap any minute know. He needed to stop this.

"Well look at the time, seems like we gotta go! Ladies me at the docks later for one hell of a party!" Quickly, he grabbed Andrea by the waist and used his magic to fly himself the hell out of there.

"LET GO OF ME! UNHAND ME YOU BRUTE! I NEED TO TEACH THOSE F*CK*RS A LESSON! I NEED TO KILL THAT B*TCH!"

"SHUT UP ALREADY" He roared. Bora was very tempted to drop her but held back. Well, at least he won't see that pair anymore.

If only he knew the truth.

'Thnnks myou sho muhchs!" Natsu mumbled out, mouth full of food. A great pile of plates and bowls stacked next to him.

After the Salamander and Fairy Queen left, Lucy took the opportunity to introduce herself to Natsu and Morgan. Feeling grateful for breaking the Charm Ring's spell, she wanted to treat them out.

For those that don't know, Charm Ring is an illegal magic item used to make people of the users gender to become infatuated with them. Which was why she was so appalled to find out a Fairy Tail mage, a famous one at that, using it.

She took another look at her saviors.

Happy, a talking blue cat who was neatly munching on the raw fish he ordered.

Morgan le Fay, a beauty who had elegantly finished ten plates and was still eating.

Natsu Dragneel, a loud and rambunctious fellow who eating at least three times Morgan's servings.

'Goodbye my precious jewels, you shall be missed.' Lucy cried, dreading at the arrival of her check.

"Lucy, was it?" Morgan questioned. "I thank you for treating us to food. Our journey her was long so we are a bit famished."

"I-It's the least I could do." She stuttered, still surprise at Natsu's and Morgan's relationship.

They both seemed too young to get married, and wanted to question them about it, but kept such thoughts to herself. It wasn't her business after all. She didn't want to make her saviors uncomfortable either.

Morgan continued to eye her before drawing her eyes to the set of golden keys hung around the blonde's waist.

"You are a Celestial Wizard, no?" Morgan asked. "Are you apart of a guild?"

Lucy, wide eyed, quickly answered. "Uhm, yes. While I may not look it, I am a mage myself. As for the guild, I was hoping to join Fairy Tail."

Her answer cause both Natsu and Happy to stop eating and instead stare at her.

"Phaiwy Hale huh?" Natsu mumbled, mouth full of noodles.

"Husband, what have we said about eating with your mouth full?" Morgan questioned him critically. Seeing her reaction, Natsu quickly slurped it up.

"Don't do it. Or, if you're gonna do it, make sure you become the leader of this place and make it a rule to speak with your mouth full."

"And have you established yourself as the ruler of this restaurant?" The silver beauty asked.

"No..." Natsu looked at the ground seeing where this was going.

"Then don't eat with your mouth full," She huffed before turning back to the blonde. "Once again, thank you for the meal. But we best be going. Come, husband of mine. And pet." With that she stood up and walked to the door.

"I'm not a pet!" Shouting, Happy grew a pair of wings and flew after her.

Natsu quickly finished his food before running after them. "Thanks for the food Luigi!"

Lucy could only stare at them in shock before the bill appeared. She soon started to cry.

Envy is a common trait amongst the living.

A child envies an adult, who can make their own decisions.

Poor envy the lords, who are bathed in wealth.

Lords envy the kings, who can command all nobles.

Kings envy the gods, to whom all men must bow.

Gods envy the mortals, who posses things they cannot.

Me? I envy the son of a Dragon King.

To who has the strength and willpower to not stray from his path.

"Shouldn't we have taken Lucy with us?" Natsu asked, his hands at the back of his head. "We're heading back to Fairy Tail after all."

"Even though I am a queen and she is a peasant, I feel a sense of inferiority due to her more voluptuous figure. It appears even I am not above such petty feelings of jealousy." Morgan curtly replied.

"...I'm going to pretend I understood what you said and leave it at that." Natsu looked at her blankly.

Surprisingly, Morgan began to fidget as she stared in the opposite direction of her partner.

"And I...don't feel comfortable...seeing you with women other than I..."

He stared at her in surprise before smiling softly. 'You've changed, Morgan.'

Compared back to the Morgan he met, this one was more truthful with her emotions.

Natsu smiled as he, Morgan, and Happy were walking their way to the train station.

"Hey did you hear?"

"Hear what?"

"Salamander and Fairy Queen are throwing a yacht party tonight!"

The trio stopped walking.

"Seriously?!"

"Yeah! It's the talk of the town!"

The cat and couple sent each other a look.

"Husband-"

"I know," Natsu said as he smacked his fist into his hand and started cracking his knuckles. "Let's bust some heads."

Lucy couldn't believe she was doing this.

Shortly after Natsu, Happy and Morgan left, she ran into Salamander, who was apparently looking for her. He convinced her to attend his party and keep quiet on the Charm Ring if he brought her to join Fairy Tail.

"There she is!" Salamander greeted her at the docks. A multitude of females, and a few males fawning at Fairy Queen on the side, all waiting patiently to enter. "I'm so glad you could make it!"

"Just keep your end of the bargain," Lucy hissed.

Salamander just smirked.

"Shall we?" He extended his hand.

He got his answer.

If you count a gigantic fireball blowing up the ship an answer.

Mages ducked for cover as civilians began screaming and running back into town.

"Wait! Don't go!" Salamander yelled in vain to get them to stop. Growling, he set his sights on Lucy and was about to grab her when a raw fish slapped him in the face.

As Happy stored his fish in his pack, he quickly grabbed Lucy and flew out of there.

"Happy!?" The Celestial Mage yelled in shock. "What are you-"

"Trust me," The Exceed spoke in a grave tone. "You don't want to be anywhere near what's about to happen." With that, he flew a safe distance, far enough to not be hit by stray spells, but close enough to hear what everyone was saying.

As Bora wiped the slime from the raw fish off his face, he drew his attention to his crew who were staring at their burning ship. Or more specifically, the two figures standing un the sail of it.

"You!" Andrea snarled in fury. "You ruined everything! I'm going to kill you b*tch!"

The pair stared at her for awhile.

"...Do you know who she is?" Natsu whispered to Morgan.

"No," Morgan responded. "But seeing as I have been insulted, I feel that it is right to respond with the same aggression she has given me."

He shrugged. "Fair enough." He jumped up in the air and set his arms ablaze.

"Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!"

Bora and his men jumped back as two whips of fire separated the beach, with Andrea and a couple of his men on one, and he and the rest of the crew on the other. Bora and his men shivered when the pink haired man landed in-front of them, flames illuminating his figure. Between the locks of pink hair, Bora could see glowing golden reptilian-like eyes glaring him down.

"You know, for someone who claims to be from Fairy Tail, I sure as hell don't recognize you."

It was only then did Bora notice the mark on his shoulder. Stepping back in fear, he quickly ordered his men to apprehend him. Natsu just nocked them away with a swing of his arms as he slowly made his way towards the purple haired man.

"P-Prominence Typhoon!" Chanting the name of the spell, Natsu was quickly engulfed in purple flames. Seeing this, Bora quickly smiled shakily. "S-See boys! No big deal! The bigger they talk, the easier they fall!"

"Youh knohw, yurh nah ehacly wong," A male voice said from within the flames accompanied by a munching sound. Bora and the rest watched with fear as the purple flame slowly got smaller and receded into the mage's swallowed the last bit of fire and felt a newfound surge of strength course through his veins. "But unfortunately," He burped. "That rule doesn't apply to me."

Bora could only stare in horror as Natsu's cheeks inflated and a tremendous amount of magic energy coming from him.

'Wait a minute...Pink hair...scaly-looking scarf...powerful fire magic...a beauty at his side...ah-' The word passed through his lips before he could think it. "'Salamander-'"

"Fire Dragon's Roar!"

"Ok, I gotta ask. Why are you a Berserker instead of a Caster? Wouldn't it fit you better? You ARE a mage."

"You are not the first to ponder this. I myself have asked the same question. But it seems that the Grail knows understands us better than we know ourselves."

"You see this, wench? This impressive bust that leaves men thirsting for more?

Morgan gazed at her enemies.

"This is what real men are after. Not your sad bags of-"

'One obnoxious female and 12 men. Shouldn't take more than a minute.'

"So why don't you do us all a favor and-"

Spikes erupted from the ground, impaling all the men's feet as they howled in pain. They tried to pry their feet off of it but that only seemed to make the spike dig in deeper. The woman, who Morgan decided to call pig's b*tch, looked at the scene with wide eyes before fearfully turning back to Morgan.

"Y-You think you scare me?" She said as she unsheathed her spear. "You haven't seen anything yet!" In a last ditch effort, she rushed towards the best girl and swung the spear overhead, hoping to kill her foe.

Morgan took her time to evaluate pig's b*tch.

'Slow, unskilled, untrained, and annoying. The blade is dull, meaning she hasn't been taking good care of it. Not only that, there isn't a scent of blood on it so it's unused. Whoever made it for her must've been annoyed by her as well so they made her a faulty spear.' As she thought to herself, Morgan parried the spear, breaking it in half. The woman looked at her spear, that was now a handle, with wide eyes. She gritted her teeth in frustration.

"YOU B*TCH! HO DARE YOU! I'M GOING TO KILL-"

Morgan tuned her out. For someone trying to impersonate her, she was doing a poor job.

'Can't be helped.' She thought. Not everyone can be born as royalty. She was among the best of the best, so it was unlikely to meet someone that could bee considered her equal.

'Well,' Morgan smiled to herself, a pink haired teen coming to mind. 'Not that unlikely.'

"-AND YOU AND THAT PINK HAIRED WH*R* FROM A TRASH OF A GUILD CAN SHOVE IT UP THEIR-"

Andrea dropped the remnants of her spear.

Maybe she realized what she did was wrong and decided to change her ways?

Maybe it was from the overwhelming feeling of dread and fear?

Maybe it had to do with the spikes impaling her knees?

Or maybe it was because her arms were now bent in the opposite direction.

Morgan prided herself in magic. Her skills and intelligence was in a realm of her own. She was unchallenged in the arts. Despite that, she was a Berserker. Berserkers have one interesting trait. They're overwhelming strength. Take Hercules for example. He was a behemoth. Morgan never really liked using brute strength, preferring using magic to incinerate all her foes. While she may come off as uncaring, the people she did open her heart to had her utmost love. Like her daughter, Baobhan Sith. She may not always act like it, but she cares deeply for her. Out of everyone she met, Baobhan was at the top in her heart. Keyword being 'was.' A few months ago, someone else had taken that spot. As a queen, she knows that relationships are of utmost importance. And deny it all she likes, the relationships she made here was among the best she had.

And now that was being insulted.

In rare fits of rage, Morgan decided to let her Berserker side take over.

"How dare you," Her voice reeking of rage as her eyes were hidden beneath her bangs. "You dare insult him? My husband? Fairy Tail? Listen her and listen well," Morgan swung her spear to the side as a gash was left in Adnrea's abdomen. "Fairy Tail is my kingdom. Those mages are my people. Insulting them is the same as insulting me. For such acts of violence, I would decapitate you here and now and be done with it."

Morgan slowly made her way towards the now crying Andrea.

"But you decided to insult my husband."

Andrea's eyes met the queen's.

Cold ice blue eyes that glowed with rage as magic power emanated from Morgan's form. The winds howled as the ocean's waves got bigger and sand swirled around them. The men had passed out from the amount of magic was too much for them to comprehend.

"Your fate is far worse than death."

"I won't stop you from being curious about my past. I only ask that when you find out and make your decision, you make my death quick and painless. There shouldn't be any reason for you to hesitate killing me when you find out the truth after all."

Happy dropped off Lucy near Natsu as he finished tying up the soot covered men. Lucy couldn't help but gawk at the now glassy beach.

Sand needed 3090°F to turn into glass. And even then it still needs some time.

"Oh, hey Luigi!" Natsu called to her with a wave.

"It's Lucy!"

"Potato tomato," Natsu shrugged before looking at her outfit. "What are you wearing?"

"This creep wanted me to attend his party in exchange he brings me to join Fairy Tail." Lucy kicked the unconscious man.

Natsu tilted his head. "Bora the Prominence?"

"Wait, wasn't he the guy that was kicked out of the Titan's Nose Guild?" Happy asked.

"Yup," Natsu said. "I checked his ID to be sure."

"He carries an ID?" Happy raised a brow.

Before Natsu could respond to his question, a pillar of blue light rose to the sky, parting the clouds as a female's pained scream echoed the area. The man, woman, and cat, stared at the light.

"...Yeah he carries an ID." Natsu turned to Happy, who hummed at the answer.

"WHY AREN'T YOU FREAKING OUT?!" Lucy gestured to the blue light.

Natsu shrugged. "It's just Morgan, no need to panic."

"YOUR WIFE DID THIS?!"

"Yes." Only the answer came from a feminine voice. Lucy snapped her head in the voice's direction only to see Morgan walking up to them, her spear/wand, holstered on her back.

"Hey Morgan! You finished?!" Natsu greeted her cheerfully, earning a small smile on the usually stoic woman's face.

"Yes," She replied. "I suggest we leave before the Rune Knights arrive."

"Good thinking!" With that he picked up Happy in his right arm and held Morgan's right hand with his left. "C'mon Lucy! We need to go!"

"Wha?" Lucy could only mutter in surprise. "Wait, why do I need to go with you?"

"Because Fairy Tail is this way!"

Well, that was all she needed. Smiling gleefully, she ran to catch up with them.

Luckily, they were able to board the train before they left. Lucy managed to change out of her dress in one of the bathrooms. She dragged her suitcase to the booth where the Fairy Tail mage's were. Natsu was sleeping on Morgan's lap on one side and Happy was eating a raw fish on the other. Sighing to herself, she took a seat next to the blue cat.

"You guys are really strong huh?" Lucy muttered, mostly to herself, but it was loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Yes, I suppose so." Morgan idly brushed Natsu's hair with her fingers. "The wizards capable of competing with us are few."

"Aww man," Lucy groaned as she buried her face in her hands. " There's no way Fairy Tail would ever accept me if you guys are part of it."

"Lucy," Lucy's head whipped up at the female mage, who adopted a serious look. "There is no need to sell yourself short. No one is born perfect. Everyone has their flaws. If Fairy Tail rejects you because they think you are weak, then I clearly didn't assert my rules well."

Lucy blinked in confusion. "I thought Makarov was the guild master of Fairy Tail."

"They are Fairy Tail. I am the Fairy Queen. Thus, they are my subjects." Morgan replied emotionlessly. Lucy sweat dropped at that.

"I wonder about that..." She whispered to herself before shaking her head. "But still, thank you Morgan. I needed to hear that."

Morgan nodded, still running her fingers through her partner's hair. "I...have been taught to not doubt and blame oneself," She shifted her gaze to the sleeping man and smiled softly.

Lucy, seeing the action, couldn't help but ask. "So Morgan, why did you accept Natsu's proposal?"

Morgan shifted her gaze back to Lucy, a confused look on her face. "Come again?"

"You know," Lucy began. "Why did you accept Natsu's proposal?"

"Natsu's proposal?" Morgan questioned.

"Yeah?" Lucy tilted her head. "When he asked you to marry him?"

"Ah," Morgan said in realization. "I see where the problem here is know. Natsu didn't propose to me. I'm the one who proposed to him" Morgan told the shocked blonde.

"W-What?! Why?!"

Morgan remained silent at Lucy's question.

"At first...I wanted power. I am a queen, so I couldn't accept being a Servant to anyone. So I told Natsu to either be my vassal or my husband. I thought of him as a buffoon." Her eyes shifted to her lover. "I loathed him. Cursed him. I wanted nothing to do with him." She pushed some hair strands from his cheeks as she smiled sadly. "But now I see I was just jealous.

"I was jealous of the fact that he seemed to not let others decide his path. Even through all the pain and humiliation he got back on his feet and marched forward. I was jealous of his resolve. For doing the one thing I couldn't. I was taking my anger out on him. He reminded me too much of myself when I was younger." Morgan closed her eyes as she remembered her past. "A hopeful individual, hoping to change the world."

Lucy stayed silent as she let him continue.

"I don't know when it happened, but I started seeing Natsu more favorably. My curses at him turned into concerns. My resentment turned into worry. And my anger turned into happiness." Morgan leaned into her seat. "I guess those feeling bloomed when he saved me."

"Saved you?" Lucy questioned. From what she saw, Morgan was powerful. If Natsu had to save her... "What kind of evil and wicked monster did he save you from?"

Happy choked on his fish as he stared worriedly at Lucy for her choice of words until Morgan raised her hand to stop him. Lucy's face turned into regret as Morgan's shifted into sadness.

"The monster he saved me from..." Morgan laughed sadly. "Was myself."

Natsu tried to ignore the party happening around him. He was having these strange dreams ever since Morgan showed up.

Sometimes of a kingdom.

Sometimes of a tyrant.

Most of the time of a little girl.

He tried to bring it up with her before, but she had been adamant on not telling him. He wanted to keep grilling her, but seeing her downtrodden face on the verge of tears broke something in him.

He brought his sake up to his lips and drank it in a few gulps.

He was glad he couldn't get drunk. Because he REALLY needed to drink right now.

He shifted his gaze to the right where Morgan and Erza were arguing. Well, more like Erza was furiously yelling and Morgan was just impassively responding. Ever since Morgan beat her, Erza had been challenging her daily to try and fix her pride. Not that Morgan cares. He sighed and slammed his drink on the table.

"Rough day?" An angelic sweet voice asked from his left. Looking up, Mirajane was looking at him with a slight smile while holding a tray full of drinks.

"Don't you know it." He eagerly accepted the drink handed to him.

"Is this about Morgan?"

"When is it not about Morgan," He said sarcastically. Upon seeing the frown on her face, he sighed. "Sorry, I'm just tired."

"I know."

She does.

Ever since Morgan denied him his request about explaining what he saw in those dreams, the Dragon Slayer had been reading in the library day and knight to try and figure it out. He's read the story of King Arthur so many times, he could recite word by word.

"I'm still not close to figuring it out," He groaned in frustration. "Every time I find something new I understand her less. And the worst part is that if I don't know what it is, I can't help her."

That has been his goal ever since he met her.

If Natsu is well known for his destruction, he is also well known for his willingness to help people. Morgan being the top of his list.

Ever since ehe met her, Natsu felt an overwhelming amount of sadness from the woman. He's seen it in the way she talks, the way she walks, the way she would longingly gaze at a happy family down the street, the way she tells him about her experiences, the times he's caught her yelling in her sleep, begging to be put down. She needs help. But the only one who seems aware of it is Natsu himself. To everyone else, she's an outsider with an uncaring attitude who wants to be in charge. Sure there are times he's frustrated with her, like when she tore down his home and built a small castle from it's remains, but she does care. She made sure to preserve his 'wall of memories' and make an entire room dedicated to it and arrange it neatly. She even let him keep the sign he made with Happy and just added her name on a piece of wood she nailed to the sign.

He know she cares. But she doesn't seem to think so.

Truthfully, he didn't know why he was so affected by this. Maybe it was because of their marriage she made him agree to? Did his instincts as a husband kick in? Was it simply because he wanted to repay her for all she had done? Did it have something to do with the way his heart seems to beat out of his chest whenever she gives a genuine smile?

"I just wished she'd let me in." He chose to not say 'like the way I let her in.'

Mirajane smiled in sympathy and rubbed his back in a sign of comfort and support.

Though the moment was ruined when Erza suddenly slammed her fists on the table as she stood up screamed her lungs out at Morgan.

"Well I bet the people you ruled over have realized what a terrible tyrant you are-"

SLAP

Everyone in the guild froze when they heard the sound. Looking at the source, they saw Morgan, her right hand shakingly hovering over her left shoulder as Erza's head was facing the same direction. A red hand imprint slowly forming on the knights face.

"Morgan?" Natsu whispered, though it was loud enough for the person in question to hear. Natsu felt his heart stop when the usually stoic and emotionless queen face him with tears running down her face. Without another word, the former Ruler of Britain ran out the doors, not caring for the tears staining the floors.

"MORGAN!" Without hesitation, Natsu ran after her. He ignored the stares he received instead focusing all his attention on the one who he cared for most in the world.

He didn't know how long he was running after her. He was only aware they were in a forest when she tumbled in a clearing. He rushed towards her but his path became blocked by glowing blue spears that resembled Morgan's.

"DON'T!" She shouted. "DON'T TAKE ANOTHER STEP!"

He opened his mouth to deny her request when-

"PLEASE!"

That shut him up.

During the time he's knon her, Morgan had never said please. While he did try to coax her into it so she'd sound more polite, he never expected the first time he heeard the word to come from her mouth to be filled with grief.

"Morgan," Natsu whispered. "If this is about what Erza said then she's wrong. You're not a-"

"But I am!" She sobbed. "I am a tyrant! I am a monster!" She curled herself into a ball, her back facing Natsu.

She never wanted to show him this side of her. She never wanted to show him how truly weak she was.

"Morgan..." Natsu muttered softly. "What is this about?"

"You want to know?!" She creamed as she tried to curl in further to hide her face. "Fine then! I'll tell you!"

And she did.

The start of her journey.

The betrayals.

Her tyranny.

Everything.

All the while the Dragon Slayer listened and clench his fist in rage. Not at her. But at himself for not noticing the pain she went through.

"I never intended to tell you," She sobbed. "At first, maybe. You are my summoner. You deserved to know. But..." She wiped her tears, hoping they would stop.

(They didn't.)

"I grew too attached." She confessed. "I was..afraid. What would you do if you found out. Would you hate me? Curse me like my people once did? I was afraid that...the only one i have come to care for would push me away like all the rest." She sniffled.

"So now that you know," Her voice was low. He was just barely pick it up with his enhanced senses. "I ask that you leave me alone. I am..." She held in a sob. "...unworthy-" The word hurt her more than she expected. "-of your love and attention. So I ask that you leave."

He didn't.

He didn't want to.

He wanted to be there for her.

He can.

He just has to say it.

But he stopped himself.

Any words he wanted to say passed through his lips as air.

He couldn't form the words.

'Dammit,' Natsu thought. 'Say something dammit. Why am I hesitating so much?!'

He knows why.

Truthfully, he's afraid. If he says just one thing wrong, one slip up, then Morgan's heart would be closed forever. And he would never be let back in.

'But if I don't say anything, Morgan will continue to suffer!' He gritted his teeth. 'Dammit Natsu! Stop hesitating and help her. If you don't, the woman you love wwill be gone forever and-...and...'

The woman you love...

The woman you love...

Woman you love...

You love...

Love...

Ah.

That's how he felt about Morgan.

Morgan held her knees close to her chest as she waited for Natsu to turn away. To run from her like everyone else did.

She waited.

And waited.

And waited.

But he never left.

Why?

Why can't he see how much of a mess she is? How broken she is? She's not deserving of love, much less his. She should be cursed. Slayed. She shouldn't be alive. SHe-

"You with the sad eyes."

It was his voice. Far softer than anything she ever heard come from his mouth. She heard the rustling of grass and the soft footsteps approaching her.

"Don't be discouraged."

She didn't want to acknowledge the one kneeling beside her.

"Oh I realize."

Why do you sound so comforting?

"It's hard to take courage."

Why are you words filled with so much warmth?

"In a world full of people."

Stop.

"You can lose sight of it all."

Stop!

"The darkness inside you."

"Can make you feel so small."

...

He placed a hand on her cheek. She flinched, but made no move to push it away. Slowly, she turned her face towards him. She looked so frail. Her beautiful face illuminated in the moonlight as her eyes spilled tears. Her cheeks stained with them. Her ice blue eyes that used to hold no emotion stared at him with one word coming to mind.

Why?

He smiled sadly as he grabbed then end of his scarf.

"Show me a smile then."

He sang as he wiped away her tears.

"Don't be unhappy."

"Can't remember when."

"I last saw you laughing."

Wiping the last tear away, Natsu let go of his scarf and snaked his hands to hers.

"This world makes you crazy."

He laughed a bit, remembering when she first heard of Fairy Tail's reason for its name.

"And you've taken all you can bear."

He stared into her eyes. He wanted to convey what she meant to him.

"Just call me up."

"'Cause I will always be there."

He stood up, hands still held on tightly to hers as she looked up at him.

"And I see your true colors shining through."

"I see your true colors."

He inhaled sharply. Now was the hard part.

"And that's why I love you."

He didn't know how long he stared into her eyes that went wide with disbelief. Her face was frozen in shock. He waited for what seemed like eternity.

Then it came.

It was soft. Feminine.

"So don't be afraid..."

He smiled.

And not a no.

"...to let them show."

She stood up. Their eyes meeting one another.

"Your true colors."

His left and her right hand's finger intertwined as her left hand let go of his, instead going for his neck as his other arm made its way around her waist.

"True colors..."

It was small. Minuscule compared to the ones he gives. But it was there. And he couldn't stop his grin from seeing it.

Her smile.

"...are beautiful."

As they gazed into each other's eyes, they started their dance.

"I see your true colors."

No judgmental eyes.

"Shining through (True colors)."

Just each other beneath the moonlight as they danced.

"I see your true colors."

Eyes never leaving the other.

"Thats why I love you."

They smiled as they told each other the truth.

"So don't be afraid to let them show."

"Your true colors."

He sang.

"True colors..."

She sang

"...are beautiful."

And they joined together in symphony as they brought in the other for a hug, closing their eyes, enjoying the others warmth.

"Like a rainbow."

She laughed a bit.

"Oh, like a rainbow."

He smiled and kissed her forehead.

There wasn't anyone else they needed.

Just each other.

Together.
