Spider-man belongs to marvel,
RWBY belongs to roosterteeth.
Let's get right ahead with true believers.
One thing is.
I'm so goddamn sorry this took far too long to get out. I'll be honest, I didn't feel like continuing this story. Real-life got in the way, and this story simply left my mind. That is, until now and then I see that someone new has followed the story, and better yet, favorited. Thank you, guys. So much.
And to that one reviewer…
Here's a chapter before the end of the year.
"Ugh... I wasn't even doing anything! Am I that annoying that I have to be stuck to a wall? Man, I just got this hoodie too." Peter was complaining, looking at the hole left in his hood after Pyrrha threw a spear at him. Ruby And Yang standing over him, with Ruby attempting to help her friend up.
"Well, I guess that's what you get when you try to... make friends with Weiss. She's cold Pete." Yang retorted, she felt bad for him, but not too bad where she wouldn't;t throw a quip his way.
"Yeah, well, come on Peter. We should get going soon, and wouldn't want to miss the initiation test."
"Yeah, got it. I think I'm better now." Peter stood up, with Ruby smiling at him. "Thanks, Ruby. Appreciate it."
"Of course, happy to help." Ruby began walking off before Peter sighed a bit. Rubbing his eyes, before continuing to follow. But, something kept bothering him. Over, and over.
'Well... going from a friendly neighborhood spider-man to... the only hero here. This... is a bit too much. But hey! For now... I can only try and do the best with what I've got. And... go to school. While keeping my identity a secret. Yeaaaaah. This isn't too much. Yep. Nothing toooooo much.'
A few minutes passed as the 3 continued through the halls, before... having Peter begin to uneasily breathe.
'Yep. I'm too far. I knew I should've stayed on that damn bus!'
Peter took a deep breath, before looking to his left, and looking to his right. He was standing on a cliff, overshadowing parts of what seemed to be a pretty beautiful, and crowded forest. And realized that the headmaster was speaking, and he wasn't paying attention. As he checked up on his 'gauntlets'.
'So if I did everything correctly, the webs should be a different color now, resembling the color of a grappling hook. Plus, these... That's not too suspicious! I hope... Wait, what's he saying? Something about a temple...'
"WHAT?" Ruby exclaimed, which brought Peter back to reality.
"Huh? What's going on?"
"Peter! Didn't you hear him? The first person you see will be your partner for the next 4 years!"
"Ah! That sounds... oh. Oh no." Peter remembered and realized that his options... weren't all that good. He felt miserable thinking about what could happen if he was given a partner.
'What if I find a way home? What would I tell them? Man, I almost forgot about that. I can't get too close, but at the same time, the people here, or at least Ruby, are trying to do everything they can to break down any barriers I keep up. But I still have to. I'm sorry but I'm getting home. Wait, what?'
And someone to the left of Peter got launched in the air. One after another, before all that was left was...
"Ah, nuts." As Peter was launched in the air, he was quick to put on his goggles. Even with more... simplistic web-shooters, they were still web-shooters nonetheless. Thus, he needed to protect his eyes. As he went through the air, he attempted to straighten out his body, before opening his arms, and using his web wings!
"Yee Haw! Alright! Let's do this!" As Peter began to drift downwards, he landed on one of the trees in the forest. As he jumped off the tree, he looked around. His spider-sense tingle, looking around, seeing a small camera drone following him.
"Is this necessary? Sorry but, I'm pretty shy around cameras." Peter shot a web ball at the camera, not destroying the camera, but blocking the camera's view of him. Before making his way through the forest. Not in a normal way of course, but web-slinging through the forest, using the close trees to his advantage. After some time, he had seen a figure in the distance, seeing that they were beginning to get surrounded by some kind of dark beasts. Although, whoever this person was clearing, putting up a decent fight, no one could stand a chance when the numbers were unmatched. So, even though he would normally leave the superhero for Spider-man, Peter decided to get involved. Everyone here does have powers, so...
"Hey! Come on you... what the hell are these things!?" Peter jumped between the beasts and the redhead, which appeared to be... Pyrrha Nikos. But Peter didn't notice that at first. What he was mostly paying attention to was... the monster themselves. Something about them was evil. His spider-sense was also going completely off the charts.
"Oh! Peter! Hello again!"
"Hiya redhead. What's going on here?" Peter looked over at Pyrrha, who wasn't too harmed, but seemingly was starting to get a bit exhausted. Not too much, but slightly.
"Oh nothing, just dealing with a horde of Grimm."
"Oh. This is what Grimm is. Not too intimidating. I think."
"Not to be mean, but you do know there are other types of Grimm right? These are... more basic Grimm."
"Say! Give me a history lesson later, why don't ya? Please!" Peter began attempting to fight off the Grimm, before running into an issue, he threw his fist at the skull of a boar, and... heard something crack.
"Peter? Are you okay?!" Pyrrha quickly responded, blocking the chomping mouth of a boarbatusk with her shield.
"Ah... oh nothing, just the fact that I'm pretty SURE I JUST BROKE SOMETHING IN MY HAND!" Peter retaliated by quickly kicking it away, before looking at his hand. Thankfully, it wasn't broken, but it did hurt. Big time. So Peter reacted fast, wrapping a makeshift web bandage around his hand. Now, with a fire of determination in his heart, Peter looked around him, seeing that there was more of... whatever type of Grimm, began surrounding them.
"I don't suppose you would have an escape plan."
"Well, of course, I do! It's a legendary technique that I saw... in a video game!" Peter shot his webs, grabbing the Grimm, and making a way through for both of them, before grabbing Pyrrha's hand and...
"It's called... Web slinging!" Peter jumped up into the air, shooting a web line at Pyrrha, pulling her up with him, before quickly spinning himself around, throwing a barrage of web grenades at the Grimm, before having the webbing explode at the Grimm. Thankfully, it kept the Grimm in one place. And as Peter slowly lands on the ground, placing Pyrrha down as well...
"You may do the honors."
"Do you not have a weapon to take out the Grimm?"
"Pyrrha, I barely have an Aura. Do you see these lines? These are my weapons."
"Well... if anything, this adhesive is... incredible. Very intuitive Peter." Pyrrha spoke, as she began thrusting her spear into the Grimm, killing them.
"Thanks, very flattering. I've gotta ask something."
"Hmm?"
"Doesn't... anyone feel bad for killing these Grimm? While these things are by no means... good. But that doesn't mean we have to hunt these things. At least, I don't think it's right."
"Well... That's the first time I think I've heard anyone have any kind of reservations about killing Grimm. Why is that?"
"I guess I... don't have a comfort with killing the Grimm. These are animals, a force of nature in a way. And seeing people become Hunters to do this stuff for a living. Doesn't stick right with me."
"Well, Peter. I guess you haven't been exposed to the horrors of the Grimm. I'm assuming you know about the Grimm."
"Yeah. They're attracted by negative emotions."
"Well, thanks to that. We are practically shunned from feeling negative emotions. Imagine having your entire village slaughtered all because a few people were feeling a bit down? Wouldn't that give enough reason as to why we have to protect ourselves from these monsters? There's a reason why we have to protect ourselves from the Grimm. Do you get it, Peter?"
"Yeah... I do." Peter looked at Pyrrha, and he felt his heart drop. He had a problem handling these Grimm. And he had some advanced tech and spider powers. He was horrified at what could've happened to people who tried to fight these monsters with basic tools. Before feeling Pyrrha lay a hand on his shoulder.
"You okay there? I didn't mean to... terrify you like that. Partner."
"Huh? Partner? Didn't you-"
"Unfortunately no. I haven't been able to find someone beforehand. And so, you're my partner now. So, partner, where to now?"
"Hm... While I think we make a good duo together, I think it would be a good idea to try and catch up with the others." Peter said before gunshots began to ring in the distance.
"It seems our allies are getting into some trouble."
"Well, let's go and help them!"
"Wait, Peter!"
"Huh? What's going on? Are there more of those Grimm?"
"No, thankfully, but... your hand hasn't healed yet."
"Oh, it probably will, just give it... a few hours. Probably."
"You said you barely have any aura, haven't you unlocked it yet?" Pyrrha slowly got closer to Peter, before she grabbed his webbed to hand.
"Yeah. I guess you can say that. A friend of mine, Ruby, tried to help me unlock it. But after she did, I was sent flying into a tree."
"Well, maybe because she did it wrong. You see, with aura, it acts as a secondary guard to us. It's like a battery. If it's broken, it can be recharged after some time. And like a battery, you can't overflow it with too much energy. So, I can assume that's what Ruby did to send you backward."
"Ah... Oh. Damn you, Ruby! Well, thanks for the explanation. But, why do you ask?"
"Maybe I can help you unlock your aura for good. But I need you to focus. I'll focus too. As I said, an aura is a sort of like... a battery, at least, in reality. But spiritually, it's the manifestation of one's soul. Do you want to unlock it? You have to do it with a kind of control." Pyrrha took a deep breath, placing her hand on Peter's shoulder, as she exhaled. Before inhaling again. Opening one of my eyes.
"Relax Peter. Follow my breathing."
"Oh! Got it..." Peter quickly responded, before following her breathing. He struggled a bit, as she seemingly had some kind of mastery with breathing. But, they soon had their breathing synced up, and as Pyrrha's body slowly began to glow, and as the glow reached her hands, the glow began to move onto Peter's hands. But, as the Aura glow began to fully envelop Peter, Pyrrha's eyes opened wide. She wasn't sure what she was seeing, was this the future?
Many events flashed through her eyes. Many events that... for better or worse, were showing themselves to Her. But, something seemed off. She saw events that were... off. She saw herself, fighting along with a few others, and Peter. Seemingly carrying someone away, who was injured.
Then, she sifted more into the future. It was... some kind of event. Where... Peter was dancing. Along with a few other people.
Before seeing into the future again, and seeing... Spider-man fighting some sort of twisted version of him, a big black beast, with a massive white spider symbol on his chest. Spider-man was bearing a sword, as well as a shield.
Before seeing all of Beacon fall. Before seeing Peter fighting along with Ruby, while seemingly attempting to fight off the hordes of soldiers attempting to protect the beacon. Seeing unconscious students of beacon. Some were hurt beyond relief, and, and, and...
There were too many events to actively gather anything more cohesive. But after a while, Pyrrha came back to the present. She was still holding Peter's hands. As his Aura had finally unlocked. As Pyrrha slowly let go, Peter did so as well.
"So. How did it feel?"
"It felt pretty... weird." Peter slowly unwrapped the web of his hand, seeing that his hand had fully healed. "And that is such a nice extra."
'Well, I wanted some kind of upgrade to keep up with the people here, and here it is. Heh. I wonder if any of my spider powers got enhanced too. Oh well, I don't think I have time to check this out right now. But maybe later.'
"Well, now you have an aura. The energy now is your own. And from what I can see, and feel, you're aura maybe... a bit special. Somethings off about you Peter."
"Uh... thanks. I'm not trying to be, but I suppose I have to be."
"I suppose there's more meaning to that, isn't there?"
"There is. Now, come on. We should get going, shouldn't we?" Peter slowly began walking onward. With Pyrrha not too far behind him. But something just couldn't stop bugging her. What... Who is Peter Parker? Why did unlocking his Aura allow her to see a slight vision of the... future? Could his semblance be the ability to foresee the future? She had to... test it out. She quickly grabbed a small rock, before throwing it at the back of Peter's head. Peter felt his spider-sense tingle, and seeing that the danger was coming from behind him, and...
Took the hit like a champ.
"GAH! H-Hey! WHAT THE HELL!" Peter looked back at Pyrrha, holding the back of his head, tears slowly coming out of his eyes.
"Oh, god! I'm so sorry!" Pyrrha slowly rushed to his aid.
'Yaaaaay. I love having a secret identity.'
After a few seconds, Peter already felt the pain disappear from him. Aura was one hell of a healer. Along with his already fast spider healing, it was safe to say he was going to heal pretty fast from here on out.
After a few minutes of walking, the two arrived at what seemed to be the ruins of an altar.
"So, who's gonna grab the chess piece? I mean, I could if you want me to." Peter looked at Pyrrha, who seemingly was deep in thought.
"Well, seeing as we're both different people, having both of us choose the chess piece may not be a good idea. What about you? I'll stand with whatever you choose."
"Well, here goes nothing." Peter slowly walked up the steps of the ruined altar, looking at the chess pieces. A King, a queen, a knight, a rook, and a bishop. Peter quickly disregarded the king and queen pieces. He was never anything close to a king, and well, by proxy, a queen. Now, came the other three. Peter examined each piece before finally deciding which one to choose. And that one was the knight.
'I mean, I constantly have to go out of my way to do the things I need to. All because of spider-man. But at the same time, it's what I need to do. It's a necessary back and forth. But, I think I see myself the most in the knight.'
And like that, the knight was now in Peter's possession. Pyrrha looked at him with a strange look.
"You grabbed the knight? Why is that?"
"Well, because... the way I live, usually, is a bit... weird. I don't take the usual way. I usually have to go around people to get to where I need to go. But eventually, I will get there."
"Hmm... Pretty Philosophical. Nice peter."
"Heh, thanks. I... appreciate it."
"So... Now what? I think we should get out of here. Don't you agree?"
"I do, wait. What's that?!" Pyrrha immediately points to the sky, as a massive Grimm was flying over them. Unfortunately, Peter's keen eye was able to see that two certain people hanging off the mouth, beak? It's head. Two people were hanging off its massive head.
"Oh my god. You're kidding me. Is that Ruby? And Weiss? How the hell did they even get up there?"
"Oh, those were the friends you were talking about?"
"Yeah. Unfortunately, they're about the only friends I have. What can ya do? They're weirdos, but at least they accept me for being a weirdo too. Now. how to get them down... Come on Pyrrha, do you have something?"
"Well, the Grimm is a nevermore. They're an aerial type of Grimm that... usually range in height. It's most likely an adult Nevermore. Which is why it's that massive."
"But why is it attacking them? And is there any way to stop it?"
"Well, it's attacking them because they did something to aggravate it. The only way to stop it would be to... let it have them."
"Alright, well we're not doing that at all."
"Well, we would have to kill it then."
"Well... I don't think the two of us could take it down."
"Well, why don't you get some help then?" Peter quickly turned around, and saw two familiar faces, along with two unfamiliar faces. Peter was a bit relieved to see Yang. Seeing that she CAN hit very hard. Blake, he isn't too sure about. Knowing where she's from, he's a bit uneasy around her. And the other two seemed like... opposites. One guy was stoic, while the other girl was... anything but. She's hyperactive, but for now, it didn't matter.
"Yang! Phew... glad to see a familiar face again. At least, one that isn't hanging for dear life."
"Happy to see you too Pete. So, what's going on?"
"Well, after grabbing a chess piece..." Peter pulled out the black knight chess piece. "I noticed that your sister is holding on to dear life."
"By the way, Nevermore."
"Thank you, Pyrrha. So, I guess we were gonna try and take it down, but now there are 6 of us! So..."
"You want us to rally behind you, right?" Blake responded, with a deadpan look on her face. She wasn't buying whatever Peter was selling.
"Well, I wouldn't say really... I guess we could all work together. Unless someone has some kind of instant kill attack for that thing. Please, I'm all ears." Peter said with a little bit of irritation to his voice.
"Okay okay, let's settle down here. We have the same goal, so let's just try and work together, please?" Pyrrha pleaded, before noticing that... the other two that were there, the girl with the hammer, and the silent guy, were running in the distance.
"And we're down two people. Oh boy. Alright, Peter, whatcha got in mind?"
"Hmm... okay, here's the plan." Peter brought the four of them closer to each other.
"First, we pair up. I and Yang are going to be the heavy hitters. While Pyrrha and Blake are going to be the distraction. Getting the Nevermore to move its attention on us, providing the opportunity for me to get me and Yang on it. While Yang hits it hard and fast, I'll get Ruby And Weiss."
"Speaking of Ruby..." Yang spoke, looking upwards, seeing Ruby fall towards them.
"I've... got her!" Peter quickly tried to shoot a few webs to stop her descent but realized that he was out of web fluid. "Dammit, not now!" As Ruby contained her screaming descent, Peter quickly reloaded his web-shooters, before quickly creating a small web for Ruby to fall into.
"Ah! EW EW EW EW WHAT IS THIS STUFF!?" Ruby quickly exclaimed, trying to shake her way out of it.
"One down, another one to go." Peter quickly untangled the dazed ruby, before quickly explaining to her what their current plan is. He also told her to grab a chess piece. mentioning Yang to do the same. As they did, they began to attack the nevermore. Ruby, Pyrrha, and Blake provided cover fire, while Peter attempted to shoot web balls at the Nevermore. With Yang readying her gauntlets, something went a bit wrong.
"Here I come Weiss!" Ruby quickly shot past Peter and Yang, accidentally making Peter shoot a web ball at Yang's gauntlets, as Yang accidentally shot one of her shells at Peter.
"Thank god for Aura..." Peter quickly replied. Feeling his chest a bit, he noticed
"Here it comes!" Pyrrha yelled, and as the nevermore began to make a dive towards the 5, as Yang attempted to throw a punch, Peter charged at it, before shooting a barrage of webbing, trying to stall one of the wings, before quickly moving over its head, and to where Weiss was.
"And you're a knight in shining armor is here to save you!"
"WORST RESCUE EVER!" Weiss yelled right back at Peter. But, unexpectedly, the nevermore broke free of Peter's webs, carrying Peter and Weiss right back into the air, Peter was able to keep hanging due to sticking to the nevermore's surface, while Wiess hung onto it, using her weapon.
"AH! CRAP! OH! CRAP!" Peter yelled, slowly beginning to lose his grip, before realizing that it wasn't his grip that was loosening, it was the Grimm's... fur? Whatever he was standing began to move backward, revealing the... bare insides of the Grimm.
"WHAT'S HAPPENING UP THERE?!" Weiss yelled at him.
"OH, NOTHING! I'M JUST... PULLING THIS THING'S SKIN OFF?" But quickly Peter shot a web line at Weiss, pulling her towards him. Pointing to the slow wound beginning to open more and more. "STAB THE HOLE!" In any situation, Peter would've let out a small chuckle, but not now. As Weiss stabbed the creature, the beast roared, and began to sway around, before Peter and Weiss were both flung off it. The nevermore tried to eat the free-falling anymore too, before... It simply stopped in mid-air.
"What the hell?" They both yelled at the same time. Seeing that its head had been decapitated, seeing that the one who was able to do it, was Ruby. Who was given a little bit of a booster from Yang. With her incredible speed, its head easily came off, and its body dissipated.
"Okay... so how do you expect us to stop falling?!" Weiss yelled again, before Peter quickly faced upwards, shooting a few webs, creating a small parachute.
"Tada! I told you I had a plan." This was a bluff. As the two landed, they barely had a second to re-group before noticing that the test was almost over. And they were quick to finally get the hell out of that forest. But, Peter slowly came to a stop, before seeing someone kneeling near a tree.
"Hey, are you okay man?" Peter laid his hand on the guy's shoulder, before turning, and revealing... 'Jaune Arc'.
"Oh! Nothing man, don't mind me. I was only hit a little bit, mind helping me out here?" 'Jaune' revealed some damage, but nothing too severe. Peter slowly began helping him back to Beacon academy.
"I'm just alright."
Eventually, the group caught up with the duo they had seen before. They were talking to each other.
"Look, I'm not saying that we shouldn't help them, but."
"Nora, please, they'll be just fine. Probably."
"Well too bad Ren. We're going back to help them."
"They look fine to me." Ren pointed behind Nora, to the group.
"Ah! Oh well. C'mon Ren. Unless you wanna feel with more and more of the Grimm, we might as well get going with them."
Meanwhile, at a White Fang outpost.
"HEEEEELP! COME ON!" Jaune arc, in his cell, accompanied by a hooded figure, continued to struggle, attempting an escape. If not that, he would've been busy trying to annoy the guards.
"CAN YOU SHUT UP ALREADY?" Another voice came from the cell next to it. The next cell had... Felicia Hardy. The Black Cat. Her hands were wrapped in bandages, with her right arm more bandaged up than the left.
"And you are?"
"Doesn't matter. Not here at least, don't you know where we even are?"
"Not no."
"Well, you've been left out of the loop. We're at some white fang outpost. This is where they hold the traitors or the prisoners. People who are deemed too dangerous to the white fang."
"Okay, but why am I here? And who's this guy in the bandages?" Jaune pointed to the hooded person. Who was shivering, even if it wasn't cold?
"I don't know. Why are you asking so many questions? Who are you?"
"Jaune arc."
"Wait, who? Why the hell are you here? The white fang has never had any incidents with you. Okay, well. Where were you heading to last?"
"I was heading to Beacon academy! And then some person came up to me, shocking me hard in the neck. And then I woke up here. To uh... this guy."
"Beacon academy? Did you see anyone?"
"Not that I know of, no."
"Dammit. Ugh... Where are you, Peter?"
"Who's Peter?"
"An... ally of mine. He's interesting, to say the least. But now... I'm worried. You were kidnapped for a reason. That's for sure. You're a nobody. Why would you be taken? Unless..." The door to Jaune's cell opened before a few white fang guards began to enter, shocking the cloaked person. Before dragging him out of the cell. Unfortunately, the cloaked person protested, screaming.
"N-No! L-Let me go!" Before the grunts took him out and dragged him away.
"Oh god..."
"Listen to me Jaune. Unless you want to end up like that guy, you and I have to work together. And get the hell out of here."
"Y-yeah... no need to convince me there..." Jaune was shaken. He could barely stop hyperventilating. but he focused on himself, took a deep breath, and relaxed. "So, what's the plan?"
"Well, I was thinking you would have an idea."
"Well... those grunts come in here every so often. They drop that guy, before leaving. So..."
"Strike them then..."
After about an hour or so, the cloaked figure was thrown back in, but the grunts noticed that something was off.
"Where the hell is that Arc kid?" They noticed there was a big lump where Jaune's bed had been. Before Jaune quickly jumped out, trying to throw a punch at one of the guards. Before missing, and almost got hit by one of their shock batons, before dodging out of the way, making the two hit each other.
"How'd ya do that anyway?"
"I... have no idea. I just didn't want to get hit!" Jaune quickly hurried up, grabbed the keys of the guards, before quickly opening up Felicia's cell. Before moving back to his cell. "Hey! C'mon, you too!" The cloaked figure seemingly hesitated for a quick second, before taking his hand. Unknown to the trio, someone had been watching them. Felicia noticed the camera, before clashing at it.
"DAMMIT! NO!" Sienna slammed her hand on her desk, seemingly getting more infuriated. Spider-man's influence hadn't left. She quickly got up, seemingly about to punch the window, before being stopped by a hand.
"Wow, Sienna. You're going to lose them, again. First Spider-man, and now Felicia? And nobody. How does that even happen?"
"Adam. Do me a favor, and shut. Up."
"Say, have you talked with your sister lately?"
"No. I haven't. Why do you even care?"
"Oh, nothing. Maybe you might as well let her know that her daughter is missing. Or is that too much to handle?" Sienna was seemingly about to strangle Adam but decided against it. She simply sat down in her chair and sighed.
"Ugh... don't even get me started on that. Kali is going to kill me."
"Oh, she is. Or worse yet, she'll get Ghira to exile you. Wouldn't that be something? Or, maybe there's a different option."
"Oh really? And what do you propose Adam?" Sienna turned her chair to face Adam.
"Well..." Adam smirked, taking a vile out of one of his pockets."
"And that is?"
"Well, it's something weird. From what I heard, this is a little variation on one of those speed healing drugs. But, especially for us Faunus, to... become a bit more in tune without Faunus heritage. For example, for a tiger faunus like you... imagine you can get the scent of one of them. You'll be able to find them anywhere. So... Let... Felicia free. She'll lead you to spider-man, and well... He won't be spinning webs any more." Sienna looked at him with intrigue, before taking the vial and examining it.
As the trio eventually made their way to the front gates, they were... concerned. Something about the whole scenario was... odd. No one guarding the gates, nothing. As they eventually arrived at the gates, they were stopped, as they turned around to see Sienna, whipping around her signature whip. Slashing her whip at Felicia, but stopping before she was directly hit.
"Now, where do you think three are going? Especially you." Sienna pointed to the cloaked figure, who moved behind Jaune.
"Wait wait. I have a question, who the hell is this guy anyway?"
"Yeah... something about this is odd."
"Well... I would show you, but I'd have to capture you again. So, it's up to you."
"Sienna! Why do you care about him so much? What's your plan here...?" Felicia tried to continue before Sienna cut her off.
"Well. Felicia. And... you too I guess. You two can leave. As long as you let him stay."
"But who... is... he!?" Felicia screamed, before ripping off the cloak, and... seeing someone, in Felicia's eyes, that resembled Peter. Parker. But something about this person was wrong. He was wearing glasses. and was seemingly lacking the courage his counterpart had.
"Oh well. I suppose you've already seen his face. Now, what do you do? Leave peacefully, but leave him behind, or, I capture all three of you, and turn you into my... Neogenic little experiments. I know a good friend of mine that would find you all so interesting."
"Uhh... oh god. PETER?" Felicia stepped back a little, while Peter's doppelganger simply cowered in fear. Felicia looked towards Jaune, who had a similar face of disgust.
"Peter? Ah... that isn't his name. But it's close."
"Uhh... What's the move here Felicia?"
"I don't know!?"
"You said that you knew someone named peter. And ally. What... would he do here?"
"He would... Not leave the guy behind for our sake? I don't know?!"
"Uhh... Okay... I think I know what to do..." Jaune leaned into Felicia's ear, before whispering to her.
"Hey, Sienna! Alright, we've... made a choice."
"Great. Come on, get it over with."
"You..." Felicia started, before looking at Jaune, who was sweating bullets.
"Can... Have the guy. Just leave us alone."
"Wonderful. Now come on, push him over." Sienna slowly put her whip down, before Jaune pushed the doppelgänger towards Sienna, before Felicia and Jaune made a break for it, making their way to the gates. After escaping, Felicia used her whip to try and grab the doppelgänger. Which worked. But, as she began pulling, the doors shut. And alarms began to ring.
"Uh oh."
"NO REALLY!? COME ON! MOVE IT!" Felicia yelled, abandoning her whip, as she and Jaune ran along the dirt road. Running until they couldn't run anymore. The sounds of the alarm slowly began to sound less and less.
"Well... that sucked. Now what?!"
"Well... I guess we will make our way to the beacon."
"Great. Nice. Cool. Ugh... this is going to suck." Jaune sighed. Even if they were out of the small prison, they were both exhausted, either physically, or mentally. But they both began to walk. And walk. And walk.
"Excuse me, excuse me!" Peter tried to make his way through the crowd, trying to find his partner. Before accidentally bumping into Pyrrha.
"Well hello again."
"Ah... sorry about that. Too many people here..."
"Well, worry not. They should be assigned a team right now, so we shouldn't be here for long."
"Ahem... Well, I must say I'm impressed by the students." Ozpin spoke on a microphone, seemingly about to begin a speech. Peter slowly began to tune him out. Opening up a small little notebook. Flipping through the pages, he looked at the formula of his web fluid. He looked at it for a while actually, his mind racing with ideas. Before flipping the page, scribble down ideas for the web. His webbing could conduct electricity beforehand, taser webs being evidence of it. But now, he was taking a bit of... inspiration. Trying to think about dust, and involving them with his webs. Trying to see if he could add the dust to his arsenal. but, he was snapped out of it, when Pyrrha had begun tapping him. finger.
"Huh?" Peter looked up with a confused look, before noticing that apparently, Ruby was assigned the leader of a team, team RWBY, which consisted of Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang. Which he noted sounded a bit... Actually, no. He pushed it out of his mind. They would probably make a great team. Now, came the... thing he was dreading. Sure, he didn't mind working with a team, but on the slight off-hand chance, he was made the leader, well... that would make everything a lot more complicated. Especially with-
"May Peter Parker, Pyrrha Nikos, Nora Valkyrie, and Lie Ren come up." As Ozpin said that, Peter felt his heart drop, but he wasn't allowed time to find a way to escape the situation, Pyrrha began to drag him up to the stage. As Peter stood, lined up with the other three, Ozpin began to say something that would make Peter... hate everything that was going on.
"You students, if by accident, or by choice, have all acquired the same chess piece."
'That's bull.'
"So, you four, will all be placed on a team. A team in which you will be with, for the next 4 years here at beacon. Your team name will be named... Team PLNN."
"Not to be rude but, what does that even stand for?" Peter spoke up.
"Team Platinum."
"Ah."
'You know, I used to think of a kind of name like... the defenders were a bit... eh. This one is just awful. Damn you four-letter naming scheme!'
"Lead by..."
'Don't say it. Don't say it.'
"Peter Parker."
'I officially hate you Ozpin.'
Surprisingly, the crowd began to cheer a little bit, before four eventually got off the stage.
As they were quick to exit the stage, Peter sighed a bit. He looked at the other three.
"So. I guess we should introduce ourselves. Well, at least something more than each other's names."
"Lie Ren. Nice to meet you."
"Nora Valkyrie, it's a pleasure." Nora grabbed Peter's hand to shake it, and something cracked. As they continued their introductions, they finally made their way to the dorms.
"So is this a..."
"Well, from what I heard, the guys and the girls sleep together in a room," Nora replied. And as they entered, it didn't take long for them to find their very own room. With team RWBY's right next to their own. Introductions were made, as well friendships. But as they finally settled in the room, they looked at the four beds. Before anyone could talk about order, Peter laid his backpack next to his bed, before yawning, and falling on it. Passing out on it.
"So, we can just take his stuff right?" Nora talked, quickly about reaching for Peter's backpack, something that looked like a red glove was poking out, as Nora went to grab it, thankfully she was stopped by Pyrrha.
"Hey! C'mon! I wasn't gonna take anything..."
"I highly doubt that." Both Ren and Pyrrha replied at the same time. Before Pyrrha went over to Peter's backpack and zipped it closed. But, eventually, everything began to calm down, and as the members of team PLNN began to rest.
"Hmm..."
"What's the matter, Roman? You seem... worried."
"What can I say? I am." Roman was looking at a picture of Spider-man. Twirling it around on the tip of his fingers. Before having it snatched away by the person he was talking to.
"So, is this what has you completely on edge?"
"Of course it does. You know why. Heroes worry me. Their dumb speeches, everything about heroes make me sick. If you think the fact that the Grimm are almost everywhere is messed, tch. Don't get me started on heroes. All it takes is one of them to cause more and more to sprout up, and before long, the criminal empire you could've spent months on is gone."
"Heh... Don't worry. I'm sure this hero won't stay around for long. In fact... if he wants to try and stop what we're planning well..." The figure came out of the shadows, revealing herself to be a familiar face. Cinder falls. She then gripped the picture, before burning it, reducing it to nothing but ash. "I'll make him learn a new meaning of staying close to the fire."
And like that, another chapter is done! hahaha.
I'm so god damn sorry.
I guess life simply got in the way of my writing. I got so busy.
Plus, I dislike the beacon initiation arc. It's not my favorite.
Ironic that most of Volume one is put in a single chapter. Not my fault that they're in separate episodes.
Also, can a piece of writing be a crossover and a re-imagining? Just wondering. Because from this point onward, a few things I plan to change.
1.) Firstly a few of the remnant civilians, both people we've met/haven't seen before, will become a few spider-man villains. And, a few Marvel superheroes. A few may be a bit obvious, others are not so much.
2.) I'm going to be re-writing the RWBY characters, just a tad bit. A TAD BIT. They're the same, just reasoning for "Why are they like this" Are, and will be different.
