And thus, another chapter begins.

Spider-man belongs to Marvel Entertainment, Stan Lee, and Steve Ditko.

RWBY belongs to Roosterteeth.

Let's go true believers.

Yes, this is another chapter within a month. WIth my life finally going on a small break from studies, well. I gotta pre-occupy myself with something.

And yeah. Call it filler, call it a chapter of shenanigans.

Anyways.

Peter was still sleeping on his bed. He was rolling around in it for a while before the rays of sunshine hit his face. In response, he groaned and covered his face up with his blanket. But eventually, he did convince himself to... open his eyes. And currently finds himself in his dorm room. Or well, His team's dorm. He opened his eyes, before sighing.

'I've been here. FOR. A. WEEK. WHY. WHY? ... Okay. Well, that didn't make me feel any better. But For now, Now that I'm far from those white fang nutjobs, I guess there's only one way to go. Up. Time to spend time trying to figure something out. A plan. That's what I need.'

Peter quickly got up, before grabbing his notebook. Opening a new page, and...

'Uhh. Okay. Well, the end goal. That's something good to start on.'

And he wrote it down at the end. In big bold words. GET HOME/REUNITE WITH AUNT MAY. MAKE SURE SHE'S SAFE.

'Nice one me. Well, end goal set. What about uh... how to get there.'

And Peter was there for a while. For a while. Before finally realizing that... He was late. Incredibly so. Probably. Well, he didn't pay much attention to it. At least... There was a big lump in what could've been assumed to be Pyrrha's bed. As he slowly got closer, he tapped the sheet, before hearing a snore.

'Phew. Someone is under there. Now the only question is... who?'

Peter slowly took off the sheet, only trying to get the face out, appearing to be a... Sleeping Pyrrha. Who was, admittedly, very adorable. Her face was seemingly sleeping in peace. This brought a smile to Peter's face before a small began to smell a familiar smell. A smell that he craved. Before walking to the dorm's kitchen, he noticed Ren and Nora cooking... pancakes? Well, honestly, part of him wants to grab a bite. But at the same time...

Peter walked out of his room, seeing Aunt May in the kitchen.

"Hey May? Are you in there?"

"I am! Come on Peter, aren't you going to eat breakfast before going to school?"

"Uh..." Peter quickly took out his phone, before checking the time. Luckily, he did have time to grab a quick bite of Aunt May's signature wheat cakes.

"Well?"

"Yeah! I got time!" As Peter went into the small kitchen, he sat down, as Aunt May served him a play of wheat cakes. Taking a bite out of one. Savoring each bite.

"So, are they?"

"They are. The best."

But, his mind was brought right back to the present. He snapped out of it, seeing that Pyrrha had finally woken up.

"Mmm... Good morning."

"Good morning to you sleepyhead."

"Morning you two," Ren replied, quickly glancing at them, before returning his gaze to the pancakes. As he began to serve the pancakes on a few plates, something caught Peter's eye.

"Uh... Nora's plate is a... It has a lot of pancakes, doesn't it?"

"Yes. And with good reason." And that good reason was Nora opening her mouth, before beginning to rapidly eat the pancakes. Which to Peter, was... horrifying. But at the same time, it was amazing.

"Ah... I see." Peter sighed after, before sitting down on the small table provided to them, eating his breakfast. Finishing not too long after, before standing, and stretching a bit. Before looking at their room, seemingly being a bit... bland.

"Say, guys? Think we can spend some time trying to make this place look a little more... nice? I mean, I'm not one to say anything. But I think it could look a bit nicer, wouldn't you agree?" Peter turned to Pyrrha, who had just finished her pancakes.

"Hmm... Maybe... what did you have in mind, Pete?"

"Uh... Hmm." Peter's mind began to wander, before having it quickly taken right back to reality by the loud sounds of thumping outdoors. As Peter went to investigate, apparently it wasn't an attack it was just team RWBY running past.

"What's going on?" Ruby quickly turned to the webhead.

"We're late!"

"Ah." And then all of team PLNN began hurrying as well. Very good first day. Almost.

Peter was doodling in his journal again. Of course, semi ignoring whatever the professor was saying. Wait, what was his name again? Peter stared at his page for a quick second, before having his attention stolen by Pyrrha.

"Psst... can I see what you're writing about?"

"Ah... uh... Sure. Here, I don't think it's anything too interesting." Peter passed the notebook to Pyrrha, as she flipped through the pages, Peter seemingly was close to having a heart attack. As she was only one-page away from his notes about Spider-man. Which would've been an issue. Secret identity and everything. But, Pyrrha took out her pen, a red pen in fact, and began writing on the page a little bit. Before handing it back to Peter.

"What the... no way..."

"Hmm? is there an issue?"

"No no... Pyrrha. This is... amazing! I didn't know that's how dust worked so well, especially in the form of... dust."

"Of course. See, while most forms of dust are in more physical dust, the more powerful forms of it are in their raw state. But at the same time, it makes it more volatile." Peter and Pyrrha continued talking for a while, unbeknownst to them, someone was watching. That someone, being Weiss Schnee. Who was... furious. Specifically, at one certain Peter Parker.

"How can... a lowlife like him get HER on his team... Ugh... it makes me sick. But, it doesn't matter. This school continues to disappoint me. Anywho..." Weiss turned her gaze to someone else, Cardin Winchester. Not all were pretty massive, he seemed to have the muscle to back it up. And so, she quickly stood up, and passed to unknowing Cardin, a slip of paper. Who opened, absolutely confused.

"AHEM!" Professor Port shouted, bringing everyone right back into the class. "So, seeing that the class is incredibly active, why don't we have ourselves a volunteer? A volunteer, to take down the Grimm, inside this box." Professor Port removed the cloak from the silver box, the box was decently large, shaking violently here and there. Before anything, Peter attempted to raise his hand but hesitated quickly. But, Pyrrha got involved, quickly boosting his arm.

"Ah! Mr...?"

"Parker."

"Mr. Parker! Thank you. It is greatly appreciated for you to volunteer. Now, please get ready."

"Yes sir..." Peter looked at Pyrrha with a follow, before she smiled. Being smug.

Peter entered the locker room, looking around for a while, finding his very own locker. As he opened it, he took out the simple web-shooters and changed his clothes. Changing from his uniform to clothes that have a similar color scheme to spider-man. Sort of. He was able to snag a jacket that had parts of red, and blue to it. Underneath it, he put kevlar armor under it. It would slow him down, but thankfully, not enough to harm him. He decided that since he had to hide his powers, in a world with people who have powers, well... It wouldn't hurt to make people underestimate him. He also had a little sling backpack to hold extra web carriages. Finally, he completed this 'suit' with cargo pants, and combat boots. All of which he... doesn't like to explain how he got it.

"Well, I guess it's one way to hide my identity and still use my powers. Eh, good enough."

"So uh... how does this work?"

"Well Mr. Parker, it's incredibly simple." Port moved aside, and as a forcefield surrounded Peter and the cage. Shielding the other students from the incoming battle.

"Ohhh... I get it now. Sort of. Wait, hey! Let me outta this!" Peter turned, before throwing a fist at the forcefield, with the forcefield hitting him right back.

"Ugh... Alright then, let's get this over with." Peter stretched a little, before getting into a fighting stance, with the lid of the cage finally breaking off. Revealing a boarbatusk.

"Now Mr. Parker, please, if you would, take out the Grimm."

"All alright then... Hey, you! You ugly thing! Come at me!" Peter raised his hand, inviting the Grimm to attack him, and as it charged at him, Peter charged right back, before quickly doing a little jump, landing on top of the boar.

... And began riding it like a cowboy would, grabbing it by the horns.

"WOAH! HEY! HAHA!" He continued to do so for a while, before being launched off it. And landed face-first into the forcefield. Which, he slides right off of.

"Ouch. That's gotta hurt." Pyrrha lightly commented, a hint of worry in her voice. But thankfully, Peter got up, slowly.

"Okay... ow. Alright, you... think. I can do this all day! That sounded cooler in my head."

"PETER! GO FOR ITS STOMACH! IT'S THE WEAK POINT!" Ruby quickly shouted, standing up, waving her hands in the air.

"Ruby... shut up! You'll take him out focus!"

"Huh? What was that?" Peter replied, looking her way. Meanwhile, the boarbatusk began its charge. Peter felt his spider-sense tingle, but he realized that he would, regretfully, need to take the hit, to hide the fact that he is Spider-man. And he took a deep breath, and...

Felt the Boarbatusk ram right into him, ramming him into the wall.

"Gah... ugh... the hurt." Peter winced, as he began to look at the crowd, seeing Ruby have a look of regret on her face, with Weiss... well. Weiss smirked. Something about her face screamed that yes. She was enjoying seeing Peter in Pain. But, of course. Peter... got mad. Which he rarely did. He held back his emotions, seeing that the last time he got angry... well...

"Get... this damn thing off me!" Peter yelled, before grabbing the Boar by the tusks, picking it up, and beginning to spin it.

"Impressive Mr. Parker! I didn't expect you to have this kind of strength."

"Crap... Well... The damn thing is heavy!" That was a lie. It wasn't. Not too heavy. It was about the weight of a heavy motorcycle, and Peter was used to carrying those things A LOT. So, Peter finally got tired of messing around with it, and slammed the boarbatusk right down on the floor, cracking it a little. Before dropping a heavy punch to the Boar's stomach.

"Ha. I told you it was a weak point." Ruby snarkily said to Weiss.

"Ruby. I hate you. Who do you think you are? Do YOU think that you know everything?"

"Woah Weiss, I didn't think-" Ruby tried to respond, but was cut off by Weiss.

"Well guess what? You don't think anything through! You're irresponsible! And you know what? There's one thing everyone on this damn team thinks. You don't deserve to be the team leader." Weiss shouted, before looking around at the fact that everyone was looking at her. All eyes were on her. But she huffed and left the room.

"Well... Ahem. Mr. Parker, excellent work on subduing the Grimm. You may... leave now. That goes for everyone. Class dismissed." Professor Port said, before sighing. Peter looked at Ruby, and so, had a feeling of... Disgust. Which was a first for him. Sienna, well... he rather keeps those thoughts to himself. He didn't know how to feel about Sienna. She was... sure, she treated him like an enemy, but she wasn't trying to do anything wrong. But Weiss, and she stuck up attitude, really pissed Peter off.

"So...what do you think about that?" Peter looked at Pyrrha, who had a look of... confusion on her face.

"I can't say. It's... a bit odd. I don't personally know Weiss, but I didn't think she was like this. She was trying to... quote-unquote, recruit me. Well..."

"She's incredibly stuck up. That's what she is." Peter replied, trying to finish Pyrrha's sentence.

"I don't know. Have you heard anything about her past?"

"Well... no. Assuming you do, does it explain for a reason as to why she is so..."

"Icy?"

"Nice pun."

"Well thank you. Well, from what I've heard, the whole Oscrop-Schnee deal didn't go down too well. There were a few claims of unethical behavior... work done there. The report I read didn't go into extreme detail, for... obvious reasons."

"Really...? Okay, so what does that have to do with Weiss?"

"Well, people didn't really... like that. You know of the white fang, yes?"

"Uh... yeah. Who doesn't?"

"Well... it attracted the attention of the white fang. People started going missing, and well... I could only assume the mental toll it could've had on her."

"Hmm... Well, what do you propose we do?"

"I... I'm not too sure. I suppose we can both try to help them out."

"Ah. Now that's what I like to hear. So, I'll..."

"I'll talk to Ruby. You can talk to Weiss."

"WHAT? WHY?"

"Because. I have a feeling Ruby is already getting a talking to." And Pyrrha was right. A few words were said through the school's loudspeaker.

"Can Ruby Rose come to the headmaster's office? I repeat. Can Ruby Rose come to the headmaster's office?"

"Yowch. That's gotta hurt. Or well, it's probably going to."

"Well, Peter. You should get going. Come on. I believe you can do it."

"Wow Pyrrha. Thanks. Alright, here I go."

"Alright, now if I were a... 'Heiress'. Where would I go to take a breather?" Peter looked around, before realizing, instead of looking around, he decided to look up. Seeing... Weiss. She was on a balance that was overlooking the rest of Beacon academy. With a... sad look on her face. This slightly made Peter feel bad for her. Before deciding to ditch the whole 'secrecy', he simply went around a corner and jumped upwards. Enough to get out of sigh, and wallcrawl his way upwards. Before appearing right behind Weiss. Sneaking up on her.

"GAH! Oh. It's you."

"Yes yes... It's me. The person who you hate the most."

"Ugh. You think I hate you?"

"It's kinda obvious to everyone that yes. You do. It's almost like you hate everyone. But... that's beside the point."

"Then what is your point?"

"My point is... how was the lecture today?"

"It was great. Until well..."

"Your little outburst? I gotta ask. Why? What did Ruby even do to you?"

"Nothing. It's just..."

"WEISS COME OUT! SHOUT IT OUT LOUD!" Peter shouted, startling Weiss. But thankfully, it got her to speak.

"I SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE LEADER OF THE TEAM RWBY!"

"There we go. Now... I believe that Ozpin made the right decision."

"WHAT? ARE YOU INSANE?"

"Uh... I guess I am. But still. Think about it, Weiss. I've known you for a few days. And guess what? You... make me sick."

"What did you just say? DO YOU-"

"Weiss. You think that the world owes you everything."

"I'm more qualified than Ruby!"

"And guess what? You could be the world's best fighter, the best tactician to ever live, and it wouldn't matter! Do you know why? Because. Your skill, no matter what, is matched by your awful people skills."

"Like you're one to talk."

"I'm not. Not really. I have awful people skills. But in the sense that people don't take me seriously. But, that's the point. When they underestimate me, well... Then I start showing them why they shouldn't. When the situation calls for it. But you, well. You're an ice queen. Except in the way that people don't like you."

"Ugh... I don't have time for this."

"Weiss. I see a person who has gotten everything they've ever wanted."

"That's not true. Well, mostly."

"And guess what? I... used to know someone just like you. Did anything they wanted, no matter what. But a massive mistake, caused by his actions. ANd came out of it all, a hero."

"..."

"But, thinking about it. If he kept acting the way he did, the world would've lost a hero. One of the very first. Now, is he considered to be... a real pain in the ass to work with? yeah. I guess so. But people still worked with him. Why? Because they had a feeling that this person knew exactly what they were doing. Do you see where I'm going with this? look back at what happened during the test. Sure, Ruby almost got us hurt. But, she got us out of that tricky situation. Could you have fixed anything about that situation?"

"Well, no-"

"Exactly. You couldn't have changed it. No matter how many times you replay it inside your head. You can't change what happened." Peter said, before looking down for a second, remembering. "So, instead of re-living the past, how about you try to look towards the future? Being a leader isn't all you may hope it might be. So, instead of being a leader, how about trying to look deep inside yourself, and be the best person you can be. There can be a million leaders, but only one of you. Be the best person that YOU can be."

"Hmm..." Weiss didn't have anything to say. She was... left sort of speechless.

"And... don't worry about Ruby. You don't have to get along with her. Trust me. Even I believe she's annoying. But... you never know. Maybe she can be surprising. So give her a chance. You never know what she'll do. Or not. But you do have to get along with her. But, I do have a question."

"Hmm?"

"Why did you get so mad at Ruby for talking me to during the fight? I mean, you don't like me, but you got so mad at her for it."

"Well, during the entire initiation exam, I saw her almost get you hurt. And trust me. I don't hate you. Entirely. It's just... death doesn't sit well with me. You know what I mean?"

"Hmm..."

"It's... death. It unsettles me. Things happened to me. And my family. So... death was kind of prominent in my life. So... I have to try and... make sure no one dies. For my pride. To prove that I can stop people from dying. And I'm not the weak child I was."

"I... get it. You don't have to tell me anything more. Well, no matter the reason, I have this feeling that you aren't completely a massive jerk."

"HEY!"

"Alright, gotta go!" Peter quickly exited the room, with Weiss about to raise her rapier. With her lowering it, before having a small smile on her face. Sighing a bit, before rubbing the head a little.

Extra 1.

Peter entered team RWBY's dorm, in his spider-man suit. Wearing a Santa hat. Team RWBY was accompanied by the members of team PLNN.

"Ruby... why do I have to do this again?" Spidey spoke, a bit of annoyance to his voice, his eyes having a deadpan look to them.

"Because. You lost a bet. Now get singing!" Spidey sighed heavily, before grabbing a microphone.

"I believe you'll do great Peter!" Pyrrha, as usual, is being supportive.

"Alright, here goes... OOOOH SPIDEY BELLS, SPIDEY BELLS, SWINGING THROUGH THE TOWN, OH WHAT FUN TO SLING A WEB AND TAKE THE BAD GUYS DOWN! SPIDEY BELLS, SPIDEY BELLS, OH WHAT FUN TO SWING AROUND, VALE WHILE FIGHTING CRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!"

Sorry for the short chapter! I wanted to get something out for Christmas, so why not cover the badge and the burden?

I wanted to have spidey in this chapter, but I guess there's no place for him right now. Anyways, see you guys another time. Or in this case, next year :)
