Is it still too early to be talking about NWH spoilers? anyways, if it is, I don't care lol.

Also, crap. Haha, thanks NWH for making aunt may say the line instead of uncle ben! Great! Oh well. That is... an issue to say the least. Whether I go back to change my canon is something else entirely. Haha...

I'll probably just go into the previous chapters and change the line.

Now! Onto this chapter!

Spider-man and any characters related to him belong to Jack Kirby, Stan Lee, and Marvel.

RWBY belongs to Monty Oum and Roosterteeth.

Enjoy.

Spider-man was web-slinging through the city of Vale, it was night, and well, not much for him to do. Other than stopping the casual robbery, mugging, etc. There wasn't much for him to do. But... He was out for something. Something that well... he needed to get eventually. A job. Some form of income. All because of a rather uncomfortable conversation...

"I NEED TO WHAT?"

"Well, Mr. Parker. Unlike many of the other students, who are on here with an academic scholarship, you on the other hand... have no scholarship on your record. So, in this case, you owe a total of... 3 thousand liens."

"Great."

'I can't believe I have to pay to attend a school like this. Man! Ugh... Anyways, job hunting! Alright! This shouldn't be so... Wait, what? Spider-sense tingling..?'

Spidey's web-swinging was interrupted when something bumped into him. Well, not something. SOMEONE.

"Heya Spider. Miss me?" Spidey quickly landed on a nearby rooftop, looking at... Black cat.

"Felicia? What... what happened?"

"Well..." Black cat sharpened her claws, before slashing at Spider-man. Slashing his chest, scratching off a few sections off spidey's chest. Specifically, his emblem. "YOU BACKSTABBING TRAITOR!"

"FELICIA! WAIT!" Spidey quickly fell onto a nearby rooftop, before quickly stepping backward, with Black cat landing in front of him.

"You... traitor. You made a deal with Sienna, didn't you? Save yourself just to screw me over?"

"Wait, what? What kind of deal are you talking about? Sienna told me to enter this stupid tower to go after you. I had to fight way too many white fang grunts to reach the top."

"She made you do what? Dammit... That's how Sienna works. Like a tiger. Uses the pack to weaken the prey, for her to crush." The black cat sighed, before relaxing.

"I was worried sick about you. I hoped I would've found you at Beacon Academy."

"Well, looks like you found me alright. Say, I have a question."

"Uh, sure. Ask away."

"Do you have a brother?"

"What? No, pretty sure I don't. Why do you ask?"

"Well, I have a feeling that seeing you gave Sienna some sick idea."

"That's not good at all. What do you think she has in mind?"

"Well, from what I can assume, she found someone... like you. I mean, the differences between you two are almost non-existent. He was like looking at you through a mirror. But, the fun-house kind. You know?"

"Yeah, I do. Uh oh. What does Sienna have in mind? Or, what is she doing to that poor guy?"

"What does any person do when competition exists? Try to create your very own doppelganger. Try to match the competition, or be better than it."

"Well, if anything. Let Sienna send whatever she's got up her sleeve. Trust me, I'm spider-man. The one and only. Accept no substitutes."

"Well now. Where does this confidence boost come from?"

"Well... it's nice to not be alone in everything I do. There are people like me here. And sure, so far everyone I've met has tried to fight me, and that does tick me off like you wouldn't imagine. So, yeah. I'm a bit more confident in myself. But nothing too drastic. I'm still your friendly neighborhood spider-man." Then, silence. The two stood on the rooftop, saying nothing. There was something between the two. Something that couldn't be said.

But, things find a way to happen. Black cat took off her mask, her eyes watering. Sighing a bit, before rubbing her eyes. Spidey turned around, before taking his mask off. The two looked at each other for a while, before Felicia walked forward, embracing Peter in a hug. With Peter doing the same.

"I'm... so sorry I couldn't be there for you Felicia. I... I didn't know. I... could've sworn it was you."

"It's... wait, what?"

"I thought Sienna let me walk out with you. I mean, I carried your body! And then you got up not too long after, to go and deal with some business. At least, I thought it was you!"

"Oh no... No-no-no."

"What's wrong?"

"Did you..."

"NO! I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!"

"Good. Because that... me. Isn't it me. Dammit! You probably met the white fang's star infiltrator. The Chameleon. Name, unknown, everything about them is unknown. Supposedly, they are chameleon faunus. Undergoing some mysterious experiment to become anyone, at any moment. With an accuracy that scares me."

"Ah. That's... Oh no. No no no no no no no." Peter quickly let go of Felicia, before quickly putting on his mask.

"What's going on Spider?"

"It's... oh god. The Chameleon saw my face. Assuming that they got to beacon, then he knows my name. He knows my secret identity. Which by proxy, is bad. It's horrible!"

"Spider, relax! Look, what can you do about it now?"

"I can hunt them down!"

"Unless that sense of your can help with finding a chameleon faunus, I doubt you're going to get far. Okay? So for now, relax. Now, what happened when you got to beacon anyway?"

"Well, I'm now an official student of Beacon academy. That's why I've been out tonight. Looking for a job."

"Sorry to hear that. Say, have you heard the news?"

"What news?"

"Well..." Felicia slowly passes spider-man a little article by a news publisher. The Vales News Publisher. The article, asking the citizens of Vale to make an effort to get the...

"They're calling me a menace?"

"Yep. This Lisa Lavender is your biggest fan." Felicia was being sarcastic, obviously, as this... Lisa Lavender had the worst to say about him.

"Ugh... why are you telling me this anyway?"

"Turn to the last page about you." And Spidey did so. His mood turned a total of 360 degrees. It was an advertisement, asking for... Pictures of Spider-man. For a few hundred Lien. Nothing too much, but it was a good start.

"Thanks, Felicia. I appreciate it."

"Heh. No worries Spider."

"Wait, where are you going?"

"Well, it's called infiltrating."

"Huh? Wait!" Spidey raised his hand before Felicia put her mask back on. And jumped off the rooftop. The chase began. As Black cat jumped from rooftop to rooftop, Spidey followed right behind. The altitude increased before the Black cat dived off a rooftop.

"FELICA!" But, right as she was going to hit the ground, she quickly pulled out a grappling hook, shooting it upwards, and grappling herself to safety.

"Told you spider, don't worry about me so much! This kitty has her claws!"

"Yeah, I know," Spidey said, before web-slinging after her. Trying to catch her. With each web shot, came a dodge, with each lunge, came another dodge. Before the two eventually stood. Both ready and anticipating the other's move.

"Heh... Nice moves, spider. Glad to see school life didn't make you rusty."

"And after a few days of not being able to move around, glad to see you aren't slow either. Heh..." The two stood before eventually signing a bit.

"So, what's your plan now? Have you found Blake yet?"

"Yeah. She's on team RWBY."

"Mind giving a few details about them?'

"Well... Actually... I have a question."

"Shoot."

"Have I ever told you that I pull back my punches?" Spidey said, before throwing one quick right hook, but stopped, mere inches away from her face. She easily quickly stepped out of the way, dodging.

"Heh, almost got me that time. Now, why the hell did you do that anyway?"

"Because, now that this chameleon is... well, stalking me, it's a bit concerning whether or not a person is a friend or foe. I mean, I don't even know what this sense of mine ever does."

"Well, it didn't detect me, now did it? I caught you off guard."

"True... fine. If you want to know about them... Well, where do I even start?"

"How about over some food?"

"That sounds like a nice idea. I am in the mood for some pizza."

A few minutes, and a few less Lien later... Spidey walked up to the roof, where the Black cat is sitting. Before placing the Pizza box next to her.

"Pizza time."

"Well now, dig in."

"So, their leader is called Ruby. A prodigy. She's got this massive scythe. And won't let you forget that yes. It's also a gun. Then there's Yang. Yellow one. The tank of the team. Can take a hit, and can dish one back. Something I've noticed is that it's incredibly similar to Adam's. However, Yang's semblance allows her to keep that power in for much longer. A general power boost. But I can also use all of it in one go. Then there's Weiss Sch-"

"Schnee? The heiress to Schnee dust company?"

"Uh... yes? Wow, she is known everywhere. Anyways-"

"She fights with a rapier and her signature family glyphs."

"Well, somebody's been studying."

"Yeah... about that. For better or for worse, the white fang has these secret files. Talking about the Schnees. Didn't know Blake's team had a Schnee with them. Hmm..."

"Why? Please don't tell me you have some kind of grudge with the Schnee's too."

"What? Of course not. Anyways, this has been nice."

"Whoa! Where are you going?"

"Well, it's a secret, but, a word of warning webhead. If you're going to go for this whole 'Superhero' thing, well. You better stick to it. I mean, look at this city. It's beautiful, isn't it?"

"Well, yeah. It's nice."

"Well, there are a few certain people you've already met so far. Right? Sienna, Adam, all of them. But they're a few more powerful people out there. People who are far above the law, that you might think they were invincible. But you! Look at what you've done so far."

"Inconvenience Sienna?"

"No. You did something I've never seen before. You knocked Sienna off balance. Now she has this... fixation on you. You made a crack in her front. If you did that to her, imagine what someone like you could do to gangs like the fang? You could..." Felicia paused for a second, before looking upon Spidey's chest emblem. "You could make this a symbol. You could be Remnant's very first superhero."

"I... Wow. Well, I planned on continuing being spider-man. It's who I am." Spidey answered, before taking off his mask and looking down at it. He remembered something, how much of a symbol Iron Man was to him when he was a kid. Sure, he ran off the night of the stark expo, got a nice talking from his uncle and aunt, but he saw his idol fight the good fight. And so, he stood up and put his mask back on.

"Woah there! Where are you going?"

"Well, trying to do what I do best. Be spider-man." Spidey jumped off the roof, before web-slinging through the city. Felicia smiled, putting her mask on, and disappearing into the shadows. SPidey spent the rest of the night helping the people of Remnant, a little here and there.

But throughout the night, Spidey saw something, an alley mugging.

'Alright. A mugging. Typical Spidey stuff.'

As he landed behind the thugs, they quickly turned around, and Spidey saw that the two goons were threatening a faunus. But, something was off about these two goons. And that was noticed incredibly fast.

"Whoa there! come on you two pieces of scum, what are you two doing to her?"

"Oh, nothing, what's it to you?"

"Woah, I think this guy's that... spider-man everyone at the base is talking about."

"Wow, brand recognition already? I feel honored."

"You should be." The goon exclaimed before pulling out a pistol. The other joined him. Spider-man then began to glare at them, before the fight began, they began shooting at spider-man, before quickly beginning to dodge the fire, not before long, spidey decided to begin going on the offensive, charging at the two, while quickly grabbing nearby trash can lid, before throwing it at one of the thugs, disorganizing them for a second, which is exactly what he needs to, to quickly shoot a web line between the two, and pull the faunus towards him, and right behind him. "Stay right here, okay? It's all going to be okay. I promise."

"Don't make promises you can't keep web-head." The grunt, now had the pistol pointed at his head.

"Why are you doing this? Is there some kind of motive?"

"Well, let's just stay that we work for-" Spidey was quick, and moved as fast as he could. Almost making him seem like a blur, before punching the first grunt into the wall, before grabbing the second grunt, easily picking it up, and throwing I'm against the first grunt, before webbing the two together, and then to the wall, easily disarming them.

"Yeah. You know something, there's something about you two that rub me the wrong way. So, you guys aren't white fangs. Since you're both... human." Before slowly getting closer and closer, attempting to threaten the two. "So, you'll do me a favor. You're going to spill everything, and wait for the cops."

"Why would we do that?"

"Well..." Spidey quickly raised a fist, before stopping it mere inches from his face. Unlike Felicia, he flinched. Unfortunately, this caused him to... faint. But, it didn't matter, he simply began to shift through the guy's pocket. Eventually finding his scroll, as long with... an I.D. Badge. "Silver... bullet. Huh. That's... concerning." He quickly dragged the two outside of the alley, before hanging the two by a light post, with a web line of course. Before taking out a small post-it note. Writing... "Courtesy of your friendly neighborhood spider-man." In cursive, along with a small spider logo on the back. Before turning his attention back to the faunus. "Hey, are you okay?"

"I... I'm okay. Thank you spider-man. I thought I was on my last prayer."

"No worries, it's all a part of the job."

"I knew the VNN was wrong about you. You're a hero. I don't know who those guys are. But they're showing up more and more."

"What?! I don't want to bother you anymore, and I'm going to take you to get some help, but please start talking, and fast!"

"Well, I don't k-know. They just started showing up one day. More and more f-frequently. They started taking people here and there. Faunus only. I don't know where they're taking them. P... Please spider-man. You have to help us."

"Well..." Spidey quickly took his scroll out. 1 A.M. "We have to get you a doctor. And I'll take care of this from here on out, okay?" Spidey said, before picking up the Faunus and web-slinging them to a doctor.

Spidey quickly began web-slinging throughout the city. Thi silver bullet group was doing something, and he needed to do something to stop them. Web-slinging from section to section, it was almost like nothing was going to stop him, web-slinging with one hand, using his other hand to try and open the grunt's phone. Eventually opening the phone.

"Finally! Alright, let's see what's on you." Spidey quickly landed on a rooftop, before scrolling through the scroll. Finding things that were... disturbing, to say the least. Picture after picture, of bound Faunus. Thankfully, Spidey sighed, noticing that there was a text message. Telling the previous owner to come to the docks.

"Come on. We gotta get the faunus moving. Stop wasting your time."

"Yeah, I'm on my way," Spidey replied. And he began making his way towards the docks.

As he landed on a nearby building, about a block away from the docks. Seeing that around this area, most of the lights were shut off. Almost ditch black. Noticing that one scientist was walking through the gates before they closed behind him.

"Alright... some lone scientist working the late shift, let's see what this has to do with this... Silver bullet." Spidey quickly leaped over the fence, before sneaking around the facility. Avoid cameras here and there. "Man... I wish I had a stealth suit right about now. It'd be black all over. Hmm, sleuth suit. I should work on that someday." As Spidey broke off and crawled into a ventilation duct. "Alright, no turning back now, let's see what simple old spidey can dig up."

After crawling for a while, Spidey eventually came out of what seemed like an armory. Guns of all kinds. All with some kind of energy he couldn't understand, but ripped out one of the power cells, putting it in his web pack. A backpack, made out of webs! Nonetheless, he continues. Moving in between laser grids, which, admittedly, stung. Badly. Spidey found that out the hard way. Before moving, he noticed something... suspicious. The base was empty. Almost no one was there. So, Spidey got off the ceiling, and walked around the base, before finding empty capsules. And then he came upon a lab. A lab with empty vials of some kind of mixture...

"GR... 3314. Or in short, code name, goblin." Spidey picked up the mixture, before tapping his hud. "Alright, let's see what this is even made of..." His hud slowly began to scan the bottle, before noticing that there was a tiny drop of the liquid left. Analyzing, unfortunately, resulted in nothing. What's more concerning, is that the results were inconclusive. "Dammit... Either I find more of this formula, or I've got nothing to prove from coming. Alright, come on... there's gotta be more around here somewhere." After saying that, Spidey slowly moves through the halls, noticing that something was off about almost everything. "Well, glad to see that my tingle isn't tingling. Or else I'd be in real trouble."

"We've been waiting for you spider-man!" Then came the signature tingle.

"Alright then, come on, show yourself!" Spidey exclaimed, before jumping forward in a battle stance. "Wait, did you just say... we? Who's we?" Spidey then looked upwards, and almost immediately regretted it. What he said could've been the stuff of nightmares. A large group of buffed-up Faunus. Faunus of many kinds, but many of them were a bit off. Unnatural.

"Why yes... we did."

"Ah... Did I ever mention I was better at true or false answers? Hehe..." Spider-man then quickly backstopped, as the large horde of mutated Faunus charged at him. He quickly tried to look around, seeing where all of them were coming from. Eventually, he was able to locate where they were. As he took a deep breath, a few words repeated in his mind. "Alright then, Ugh... this is gonna HUUUUUURT!" He yelled, before jumping through the crowd, attempting to web up as many mutated Faunus as he could. Trying to web up the entrances where they were coming from. As they seemed to gang up on Spider-man, it seemed like it was the end. But Spider-man was able to reach his hand out, and shoot a web upwards, landing on the ceiling. Took a quick breath, before jumping right back into the crowd, kicking, punching, swinging left and right hooks everywhere.

"C-Come on! Is that all you've got!" Spider-man shouted, his suit beginning to show claw marks. Signs of battle damage. Nevertheless, he continued, punching, shooting his webs, etc. Not too long, spidey stood over the small group, panting a bit. "Phew... That was decently difficult. I mean, what the hell even are these guys..? Alright, now what time is it..." Spidey pulled out his scroll, revealing... 5:30 A.M. "Uh oh..." Spidey began shooting webs around, webbing the mutated Faunus up.

"Wait here. I'll be back really quick, hopefully, with some kind of cure." Spidey quickly looked around, trying to find a syringe. Rummaging through a few closets, eventually finding a clean one. Coming quickly, and taking a quick blood sample. "Alright... now stay here. I'll be back soon!" Spidey quickly left the lab, before beginning to see the sunrise. "Dammit... I've been gone for too long. Alright, time to get back to school." Spidey began web-slinging, and well, he passed the VNN. "Hmm..."

"This is a different kind of embarrassing... Alright, let's dance." Spidey set his scroll up, in photo mode. Before doing a few poses. Shooting a few webs, jumping around, etc. After a while, Spidey checked out the photos, surprised to see that they came out pretty well. Sending the images to the email that Felicia gave him. And now, he did get to moving back to Beacon.

As Spider crawled into the bathroom's window of his dorm, he quickly began to... change per se. Technically, it's stripping, but he wasn't going to call it that. Before changing into his school uniform. Looking into his mirror, before noticing the scratches on his face. "That is... going to be a problem." Peter checked the clock, 6:45. As he checked, he noticed that the scratches had almost healed. But just in case, I decided to put some bandages on the scratches. "Alright... let's see what my team is doing."

As he said that, Peter came out of the bathroom, seeing that everyone had already begun getting the morning started. Pyrrha was doing her hair, as Nora and Ren were making breakfast.

"Uhh... good morning guys?" Peter awkwardly said, while waving his hand.

"Good morning Peter. Did you sleep well?"

"I guess I did. What about you Pyrrha?"

"Well, I was, until I heard some footsteps in the night. Just faintly, I checked, but the noise disappeared as fast as it came."

"A-Ah... that's nice... what about you two?"

"Weeeell. I had this dream in which-" Nora began to speak, but Ren, luckily stopped her.

"We slept well."

As the team ate, they made some small talk. Nothing, in particular, just casual small talk. Peter, meanwhile, was trying his hardest to stay awake. The night slowly began to just take all of his time. Which sucked. He wished he could sleep, but nonetheless. The day started.

As his team slowly entered their first class, Peter sat down, before yawning.

"Pete! What's up?" Peter felt a tap on his shoulder, before looking behind him, seeing Ruby.

"Ah... Ruby..."

"What's wrong with you? You look... how do I put it... Dead."

"I feel like it. I stayed up all night with... business."

"What kind?"

"Well, let's just say that unlike the rest of you guys, I need to pay to stay in school. Which is around... three thousand Lien. Which doesn't sound like much but it also kind of does."

"Oh no. Yeah, I was able to get in here Scott-free due to some kind of scholarship. So did Yang."

"Well, I had to look for a job last night, of course, it kind of went off the rails completely. And eventually, I returned, jobless."

"Oh man... well-"

"AHEM. If you're done talking Mr. Parker and Ms. Rose, can you please allow us to start class?" Professor Goodwitch interrupted the two, time begins to fly easily when you're talking to someone you enjoy. Nevertheless, class started. And not too long after the class started, Peter yawned, before slowly, slowly falling asleep.

Before being awakened not too long after by the Professor, which resulted in him breaking off the section of the table that is his desk. "It appears we now have our next volunteer for a combat duel. Isn't that right Mr. Parker?" Peter looked up, having a bit of a worried look on his face, before sighing and against his will, went off to change.

As Peter was changing into his casual combat clothes, he felt something and his heart dropped. He pulled out the vial of GR-3314.

"Dammit... I thought I put it away with my spider-man costume... Alright well... You stay here... I don't want you to be causing trouble..." Peter threw the vial before webbing it to the corner of his locker.

Peter came out, in the previous casual suit he had worn before, his opponent, being... Cardin Winchester. Peter hadn't interacted much with him, not because he didn't want to, it was because he simply chose not to. Cardin, in the very few interactions he and Peter had, reminded him about Flash Thompson. But unlike Flash, Cardin was more of a jerk, at least from what he heard.

"So uh... how does this work?"

"Well, to put it simply... The two of you will fight. Of course, no killing moves are allowed. This is a friendly sparring match. The fight will be based on your aura levels. If your aura is lowered to the red level, you lose, and your opponent has won."

"That's bare-bones but I get it. Well, I guess let's..." Peter yawned. "... Get started."

"Alright, can't promise it won't hurt."

"Alright. You know the rules. Now, start!"

And so the fight began. With Cardin beginning to swing his mace around, with Peter dodging every swing. "So Cardin, how's your day going?"

"Well, it would've been better if I could squash you like a bug!"

"Yikes... very violent. You know, you remind me of an old friend. I think you two could get along together."

"Yeah yeah... quit talking already!"

"Hmm... I don't think so... Besides, I gotta ask, Why are you so mad at me? I haven't met you, and well, I don't know, I think it's you, not me!" Peter said more dramatically. Having one goal in mind. To annoy Cardin to give up. Before actually getting slammed by Cardin's mace. If it wasn't for his aura, well, he wouldn't have died, but it would've hurt a lot more than it would've.

"This is the part where you lose!"

"Yeah... no thanks." Peter quickly got right back up, using his enchanted agility to grab Cardin's neck, before using his body weight to throw him onto the floor, before doing a cartwheel kick, kicking Cardin down. But Cardin got right back up. Peter had to put the brute down, and fast. Performing the cartwheel kick again. Before grabbing him by the collar, and beginning to beat him down. Throwing a hard right hook, using the distance to begin running towards Cardin, before kneeing him in the head But once again, Cardin got up. Fast.

"You can't beat me, Cardin..."

"I disagree..." Cardin let go of the mace, before beginning to punch right back. And punch hard he did. But Peter was quick to throw him off. Cardin quickly ran over, picked up his mace, and began to fight differently. Using distraction. Before hitting Peter with the mace again, before shoving right back down. Before beginning to pick him up, and slamming him right back down onto the floor. "This... is where you lose Parker." To add insult to injury, he hit Peter with the mace. Again, and again. With Peter's Aura continuingly going down. "You know what... I dislike people like you...? Are you trying to help people? You have some ulterior motive, don't you? no one is this nice. And I mean no one."

"Cardin! Enough!" Professor Goodwitch was quickly about to interrupt the fight, clearly knowing that this was going too far.

"That's... where you're wrong..." Peter used his legs to wrap around Cardin's arm, using his hands to grab his hand, and pulled. A decently loud crack could be heard, before Peter shoved Cardin away, before getting right back up. Sure, it didn't dislocate his arm, but sure brought down his Aura by a decent chunk. "People... have good hearts... Sorry that you've had a bad experience..." And while Cardin was on one knee, quickly appearing to get right back, Peter charged, before punching Cardin in the face. As hard as he could. Well, not as hard as he could. But hit hard enough, to bring Cardin's aura, which was previously in the yellow, Bringing it on the brink of red.

"Dammit... how can you still be standing?"

"Heh... I can say that to you, Parker."

"This has gotta end." As the two began to charge towards each other, ready to continue fighting, unfortunately...

"Alright, that's enough!" Professor Goodwitch interrupted the fight, saying a few comments, on stuff that Peter didn't pay attention to. Other than that his fighting technique was rather... Poor. But, Peter AND Cardin were both going to get reprimanded for the brutality of the fight. As Peter was about to say something to counter, he was immediately shut down.

"Wait, why am I getting punished too?'

"The brutality on both sides. We are at a school to hunt Grimm. Not kill each other while trying to do it. Mr. Parker. Mr. Winchester. I expect a 3-page essay on combat. Refer to your notes if necessary. Now you students should start preparing..."

you've gotta be kidding me..." Peter sighed, before rubbing his eyes in frustration. While Professor Goodwitch continued to talk about a kind of combat festival. Peter was... slowly starting to lose his grip on reality. He has incredible amounts of patience, but this, all of this, is starting to make him feel a bit insane. Just a little bit... But while everyone was distracted... Cardin slowly began to leave the classroom.

"Where's that guy's locker..." Cardin was walking through the locker room, before finally finding Peter's. Trying to lockpick it open, before simply brute-forcing it open. Seeing that there were a few things, notebooks, an extra pair of web-shooters. And... "Hooooo boy. Now I get it..." Cardin took out the vial of GR-3314. "Parker's using enhancing drugs? Wow... can't believe you left it out here in the open..." Cardin smirked, before hiding the vial in one of his pockets.

The two teams were eating breakfast, each of the members making small talk. Nothing important about anything, while Peter was busy... eating? And consistently checking his email to see if he had gotten a response by now.

"Peter, why aren't you eating?" Pyrrha asked, with a raised eyebrow.

"Pete, if you don't eat your food, I'm going to!" Nora had responded, quickly poking her head out.

"Ah... sorry about that. I was just wondering if I had gotten a response by now."

"Response by who?" Ren inserted himself into the conversation.

"Well, didn't you guys hear that the VNN is offering a prize of some lien for good photos of spider-man? Most photographers keep getting nothing but blurry shots. I think I've got a really good chance at winning this!"

"Why do you even care about it? don't you know that this spider-man used to work for the white fang?!" Weiss had intervened in the conversation.

'And the consequences of my actions have come back to haunt me. Uh oh.'

"Well, maybe it's a different spider-man? He's got a different costume and everything!"

"That's true. Besides, it's nice to have a... hero around!" Pyrrha agreed.

"Ugh... I can't believe you're all falling for his facade! It's a lie. All of this." Weiss countered again.

"Well, maybe give him a chance! I think-" Peter was going to continue before having their argument interrupted by Cardin. Who was looking... unfamiliar. He seemingly looked a bit larger. Who was messing around with unfamiliar faunas? Who had a sweet pair of bunny ears? Peter slightly tapped Pyrrha's shoulder.

"Is it me or is Cardin looking different?" Peter whispered to Pyrrha.

"He... is. I don't know. Look out for him Peter." Pyrrha whispered right back. Before Peter slowly got up. Hesitating for a split second. Before getting up and walking towards Cardin.

"Heya Cardin, buddy. A good old friend of mine." Peter spoke, before trying to separate the two.

Uh... huh? Oh. You. Parker."

"Yep, why are you... going after this person right here? I'm asking nicely."

"Heh... it's none of your business!"

"It is now." Peter quickly separated the two. "Are you... okay?"

"Yes... Thank you for that. He was tugging on my ears too hard..."

"Well, when you've got the time, try putting some ice on it, it should-"

'Spider-sense! Wait, where?'

Cardin slowly began to get closer to Peter, as a fire began to crackle out of his hand. Backhanding Peter away, sending him away.

"Peter!" Pyrrha quickly got up, concerned. Before seeing that... more and more flames began to spew off of Cardin. Seeing that he was getting more and more out of control, Ruby acted fast, using her semblance to move the bunny faunus out of the way. Before Cardin threw a fireball right out of his hand, barely missing Ruby. His speech became more and more nonsensical.

"P...Parker!" Cardin yelled before the students began to evacuate. A few students decided to try and stay to take down Cardin.

Peter slowly got out of the... dumpster he had been sent into. "Ow... what the hell was that about? Ugh... I'm so gonna-" Peter then felt his spider-sense tingle again, hearing the commotion, get out of the dumpster, before hiding behind it. "This... can't be how captain America does it..." Before opening his buttoned-up shirt to reveal the spider-man suit. Quickly putting it on.

As they remain students, team RWBY and Lnn included tried to calm down Cardin, they felt a small gust of air pass right by them. Spider-man had jumped over their heads, landing right in front of them.

"Wow. He's... actually real." Pyrrha said, with Ruby having a face of pure glee.

"Say! I gotta say, you're a bit new. Didn't you know, all visitors have to check in with the office to enter school-" Spider-man was cut off, as Cardin charged right towards him. Spidey jumped out the way, before beginning to shoot webs around the cafeteria, trying to repair any of the damage Cardin had already done to the place.

"PARKER!" Cardin got right up, swinging at him again.

'WHAT? There's... no way Cardin knows... right? Oh, man. This has got to stop.'

"Alright tall dark and gruesome! let's take this away from the students of such a fine school! Wait, I forgot, you can only speak monster, right? here, I'll simplify. You ugly man, Me, Spider-man. Follow Spider-man! C'mon, try to keep up!" Spidey said, quickly exiting the building, with Cardin following, screaming at the fleeing spider-man. Unfortunately, breaking the windows in the process of doing so.

"Wow, surprising no one, Spider-man broke the windows. Ugh... I told you he's a menace!" Weiss shouted.

"Weiss, c'mon! I mean, how else was he supposed to even get out of here?" Ruby countered.

"Well..." And the two began to argue again.

"Alright, c'mon... Let's get Cardin's team, maybe they can slap some sense into him!" Ruby exclaimed, looking at her team.

"Alright... And we'll stay behind to try to keep this place from collapsing. And trying to find Peter in the process, he can't be..."

"Dead? No. Let's not try to fill our heads with those kinds of thoughts, Pyrrha." Ren comforted Pyrrha, as the two teams separated.

After a few minutes, the two stood at the edge of Beacon. With the teachers standing by, protecting the students who couldn't keep themselves from watching the fight.

"Freeze! Spider-man, and Cardin Winchester. Unless you two stop this at once, I'll have to take you both into custody."

"Uh oh... looks like we drew ourselves a crowd. Dammit. This is so not good..."

Haha... I'm not dead. I swear! I'm not! I just well...

I DIDN'T WANNA WRITE THIS. REALLY. I DIDN'T. For a while at least.

But hey! Here's a fic!

And before anyone asks, Silver Bullet is not an original creation by me. It's from RWBY. But hey, spider-man going against evil groups isn't bad. Hell, in the comics, he went against hydra! I would say more, but that would be spoilers. Or would it be? You'll never know.

Happy New Year to all. And please, thank you for your patience with this fanfiction.

I would love to write these more often, but I'm not exactly in the real-life position to do so. So please, bear with me.
