It was a hassle trying to find the Class he and Katsuki were in, especially without Katsuki getting frustrated and threatening to blow up the hall just so he could find the door.

Which is a normal, he's Katsuki fucking Bakugou. Something would be wrong if he didn't get mad once a day.

But even Izuku is starting to agree with him. If we don't find our class door soon, we'll be late. He cautiously thought.

Suddenly, Katsuki called out to him. "Izuku, I've found the door, 1-A, let's go!" He shouted.

He exhaled a sigh of relief. Who had the bright idea of creating such a confusing floor plan here? They both walked up to the door with anticipation.

"I guess this is it, our first official step into the realm of heroes, you ready?" The greenette asked.

Katsuki only smirked. "Born ready, nerd."

Then they opened the door.

Immediately, all eyes turned to them. Some had confused looks, while others had looks of awe. Katsuki was the first to interrupt. "Something wrong?" He asked viciously.

"Woah! It's two of the top scorers of the exam!" An electric blonde yelled.

A brunette girl stood up from her desk and yelled, "Hey, you're falling boy! The guy who saved me in the exam."

All the shouting and praise for Izuku started to get on Katsuki's nerves. "Shut the hell up your extra's!" He shouted at the top of his lungs shutting everyone up. "No one likes a kiss ass."

Izuku stepped in front of his friend and bowed. "Please excuse my friend over here! He's normally a nice person but he's a bit grumpy in the morning!"

Katsuki started to emit tiny explosions from his palms as the air filled with crackling noises. "I ain't grumpy! I'm just peachy, and I wouldn't even blame myself for getting grumpy at a bunch of extras like you."

Izuku sighed. "Kacchan, that's not nice." He confronted the blonde. "You can't go around calling people extra's, that's not something a hero would do at all." Before the blonde could even so much as retaliate, the door slid open.

And out came a yellow caterpillar?

Immediately, the whole room ceased conversation as they started wondering what the hell just came through the door.

The supposed "caterpillar" scrunched up along the floor all the way to the chalkboard. Then it became apparent to them that it wasn't a caterpillar, rather a person in a sleeping bag.

"What the fuck." Katsuki said.

The person unzipped the sleeping bag and slipped out of it and stood up. "It took you approximately five seconds for you to calm down. It's not the best time but it's not bad for a bunch of rookies." The man grunted. "I'm Shota Aizawa, your homeroom teacher."

Homeroom teacher?! He looks like a drunk vigilante! Izuku thought.

The man sighed. "Put on these gym uniforms and meet me outside." He said in a flat monotone voice.

"What about orientation?!" A pink-skinned girl said.

"That's illogical, it's best to get straight into the basics." He refuted. "Now, hurry up and get changed, we're running on a schedule here."

The students, albeit it reluctantly, got changed into their gym uniforms and headed outside to the testing grounds.

Shota stood ahead of all the students. "First, we'll see what all of you are capable of with your quirks." He then turned to Katsuki. "Bakugo-san, since you got the most villain points, try throwing this ball with your quirk."

He nodded and got into the circle. "Are there any rules to this?" He asked.

"Yes, you have to stay in the circle, if you step out of it even slightly, you'll fail this test." He said casually.

The blonde simply smirked. "Wouldn't have it any other way!" The blonde gripped the ball tightly. "Don't blink if you don't wanna miss this!" He shouted and readed his quirk.

"DIEEEEEEE!" He shouted at the top of his lungs.

The ball ended up soaring through the air with grace as it broke the sound barrier. The pressure it generated so powerful it forced Shota and the other students to brace themselves.

It didn't stop moving even after ten seconds, and left everyone waiting for anticipation. Aizawa finally held up his phone and looked at the screen, for a moment, he seemed surprised.

"950 meters." The device read. Everyone in the class went wide-eyed, well except for Izuku, and Katsuki.

Katsuki grinned like a madman. "Phew! I sent that fucker far!" He yelled. He turned to face Izuku. "Betcha can't beat a score like that."

Izuku smirked. "I'll take that as a challenge."

Meanwhile the class was still left gawking over the blonde's score. "How fast would the ball have to be moving In order to travel that far?" Someone asked.

A girl with black hair and a pony-tail answered, "He at least must've thrown it at over Mach speeds. But that's likely due to the explosion's force. Still, quite an impressive score."

This had the students pumped. "Alright! A chance to push our quirks to limit?! This ought to be interesting!" The same blonde-haired boy from before yelled.

Shota simply smirked and glanced over to them. "Interesting, you say? How about I make it like this. Anyone who places last gets expelled."

Izuku was the first one to respond. "Woah, hold on! That's not fair, not only does that sound unfair, it just sounds illogical to waste potential like that!" He argued.

Shota scoffed. "Unfair you say? Natural disasters are unfair, villain attacks and helpless homicides are unfair. It's our job as heroes to match that unfairness and make the best of the situation. This is our school motto, Plus Ultra."

This only annoyed Izuku even more. "But that's a completely different scenario-" Before he could even continue, Katsuki placed a hand on his shoulder.

"It's not worth the effort nerd. Just wait till you can prove him wrong." He surprisingly spoke in a calmer tone than usual.

It took a while for Izuku to calm down before nodding and facing Shota head-on. "Alright, I understand what you're getting at. I still think this is wrong, but I accept your challenge!"

The man only scoffed. "Whatever." Then he focused on explaining the basis of their apprehension test.

"Anyways, as you could already tell, we're doing the same tests you took in Middle School, only this time you have the chance to use your quirks." The students nodded. "Let's get on with this, I need my nap."

The students lined up and began the test. Each getting their own scores. Izuku thought some of them had unique Quirks, such as the guy who could fire tapes from his arm.

Eventually, it was time for the 50-meter dash. "Alright, Iida-san," Shota called out, prompting him to turn towards him. "Line up for the dash, and don't hold back." He asked.

Tenya nodded and got in line for the dash. "On your mark." He readied his engines at maximum speed. "Get set." He prepared for a running stance. "Go!" Aizawa yelled and he took off.

"Recipro Burst!" He yelled as he dashed across the entire field in less then a second. Even Aizawa was surprised at the speed.

He looked at the timer and was visibly surprised. "Impressive." He held up the score for everyone to see. "0.2 seconds."

The class roared as they took in the time. "I didn't even get the chance to see it! I just blinked and it was over, this is crazy." One of them said.

Katsuki only exhaled. "It seemed like an ultimate move of his." He looked over to Izuku. "Nerd, you notice how he looks like Ingenium?"

Izuku nodded. "Yup, he must be a relative. He even has his surname." He took out his notebook. "Still, an impressive score, I'll write an entry down for later-"

Before Izuku could finish his sentence, Shota called out to them. "Bakugo-san, Midoriya-san, you're up next."

Izuku was startled from hearing that he was next in the test. "Kacchan." He turned towards his friend. "Let's do our best!"

Katsuki smiled. "Whatever you damn nerd." They both walked over to the track that spanned 50 meters.

Aizawa started his countdown. "3," Izuku prepared One For All in his legs while Katsuki's palms sizzled with nitroglycerin. "2," They got in their positions, preparing for the dash as they both aimed for the top. "1, go!" The teacher yelled out.

Izuku zipped past the starting line while Katsuki blasted his way past everything. Even Aizawa was caught off guard from how fast they moved. He held up the watch that measured their times and showed it to everyone else. "Midoriya's time is 0.002 seconds, Bakugo's is 0.0025."

The whole class went silent, everyone except Katsuki had their jaws dropped. But the silence was interrupted by a loud swear from the dirty blonde. "FUCK! I'm slightly behind your score, seriously?!"

"Yeah, seriously?!" The class shouted.

Aizawa activated his quirk and got them to shut up. "Enough whining about the two problem children here, unless all of you want expulsion. Let's get on with the test." He deactivated his quirk.

The class nodded and got ready to do other tests.

First, there was grip strength. One of the students named Mezo Shoji managed to achieve a grip of 540 kilograms, which Kirishima and admittedly the rest of the class admitted he was a complete gorilla.

Surprisingly, Katsuki achieved a score of 322 kilograms, which shocked everyone given how that wasn't even due to his quirk. Which just made the blonde threaten to blow them up.

Now it was Izuku's turn.

The class waited in anticipation as they wondered what his score would be. Probably shouldn't relax with this one. One For All: 20%! He drew out a third of his maximum power and prepared to clamp down on the machine.

Only for it to break in pieces.

Izuku grimaced. "U-Uhm, oops?" He chuckled.

The whole class just stood there blankly, not even Aizawa or Katsuki showed emotion.

Then Aizawa started to speak up. "Those hand grips are designed to withstand some of the strongest strength enhancement quirks. Though, I'm not surprised." He sighed. I don't get paid enough for this. Then he continued. "Let's move on."

They did tests ranging from the long jump, to a stamina run, and to even swimming. Of course, Izuku, Katsuki, and a few other students aced them all in only a short time frame, with Izuku gaining a ridiculous altitude on the long jump.

Now, it was time for the ball throw, the test from the beginning.

"Alright, let's wrap this up." Their insomniac teacher turned his head in the direction towards the dark haired looking girl. "Yaoyurozu-san, you're up for the ball throw."

The girl named Momo stepped up and into the ring. "If you would be so kind to look away, it'd be greatly appreciated."

Their teacher shrugged. "I don't know why you're asking, but sure." He faced everyone in the class. "Class, look the other way." They complied but he noticed the exception being Mineta, just out of the corner of his eye. "I said, turn the other way." He glared at him with his quirk.

The boy shrieked. "U-Uh, yes sir!" Finally, the boy complied.

He deactivated his quirk and sighed. "Yaoyurozu-san, you're in the clear."

The girl nodded her head. "Thank you Aizawa-sensei, I won't disappoint you." Then she removed her shirt and tank top without anyone knowing. She then proceeded to activate her quirk.

After only seconds of using her quirk, she was finished. She put her top back on and turned towards the class. "Ok, everyone can look now."

The whole class turned around and the sight they saw made them slack jawed.

"What the hell?! Is that a freaking canon?!" Denki asked.

Kirishima nodded slowly. "If my eyes aren't deceiving me right, did that just come out of thin air? What's with all these ridiculous quirks in our class anyways?"

Aizawa had to break up the commotion in order to get them in control. "Everyone, get back." Before they could even question why Aizawa continued. "Trust me on this. If you wanna end up as a pancake thanks to recoil, be my guests." He stepped back a few meters and took out his juice box.

The class looked at him and then back to the black-haired beauty, before deciding they wanted to live through whatever hell was about to take place.

The black haired girl who was known as Momo smiled brightly. "Make sure to brace yourselves everybody!" She said. She then pushed the button which activated the canon. Upon activation, she immediately bolted away from the canon.

What followed was something that drew everyone off, even Aizawa.

A loud boom echoed throughout the campus grounds as clouds of dust kicked up in the training grounds.

Apparently, the girl had placed the ball into the canon and then activated it to launch it into the sky. Well, the more accurate term would be the stratosphere.

Denki was the first one to comment. "What the fuck did I sign up for?"

What followed up was a reply from Aizawa. "U.A. High School, if you don't like it you can leave right this moment." He went to his pocket to see how far the ball went and raised it up to the class. "1 kilometer." He said.

The class wasn't all that shocked, I mean, they saw just saw three people cross dozens of meters in the blink of an eye and a guy capable of flattening cars with just grip strength, and this was barely above Katsuki's score, but it still irked them that she basically created a canon.

Kirishima was frozen. "D-Damn, everyone in our class is so badass and manly!" He had earned nods from that.

Then Aizawa turned to the brunette Izuku had saved earlier. "Uraraka-san, you're up."

She nodded and got inside of the circle. All she did was touch the ball with all five fingers and let her quirk do the rest. It seemed simple-minded at first until their teacher held up the device showing her score.

"Infinity."

"NANI?!" Everyone in the class did a collective shout as they took in the score.

"How the fuck is that even supposed to work?" Katsuki asked. "Did she float that shit to space?"

Izuku was too busy writing in his notebook to really care about Katsuki's question. "So is that her quirk? Some sort of gravity manipulation? It seems interesting and efficient. I wonder if she can just make things weightless, or is there another side to the coin? Maybe both. Still, it's an interesting power to have. The possibilities are limitless with it-"

"Midoriya-san." Their teacher called out.

Izuku gasped as he paid attention to his surroundings, he found everyone staring at him, with a mixture of confused and deadpan looks. Some were even grinning!

He blushed. "S-Sorry…"

Aizawa sighed. "It's fine, but that's not what I meant." He tossed a ball to him. "You're up next."

"O-Oh, I see." He relaxed and walked over to the pitching part of the field.

Katsuki smirked. "Give them hell Izuku!" He shouted.

He smiled as he looked back to his childhood friend. "I will, Kacchan."

He stepped into the circle Aizawa had instructed him to enter and stretched. 30% should be enough. He readied his quirk through his hand and threw the ball.

The ball shot through the air like a bullet, as expected, and gave off enough wind pressure for a nice breeze.

Aizawa held up his score. "986 meters"

Izuku smiled as he looked at his score, but then the atmosphere dropped, and he felt cold eyes bore into the back of his head. He looked over to his right and saw his teacher. The only thing different about him was that his eyes were red and his haired stood up.

"Why didn't you use your full power, Midoriya-san?" The hero asked, a bit ticked off.

Then it dawned on Izuku. "W-Wait, you're the hero Eraser-Head, right? Why did you erase my quirk?"

The hero glared at him. "Who I am is irrelevant, why are you holding back your power? I've seen you one-shot a Zero-Pointer with a single punch, there's no way that should be your limit." He pulled him into his capture weapon. "So let me repeat myself." He glared harder. "Why are you holding back?"

Izuku didn't answer. "I-If you let me go, I could show you."

The pro hero compiled and released him, his quirk deactivating as well. "Explain, now."

Izuku's signature smile faltered as his gaze tightened. "You wanna know the reason I didn't use my full power, right?" Aizawa nodded. "Give me the ball, and let me retake the test."

The hero was hesitant, but complied. "This is your last shot, screw this up, and you're expelled." The students behind him gasped as their faces fell.

Katsuki was furious. "What type of teacher are you to have him expe-" He was cut off by Izuku raising a hand to him.

"Kacchan, stop." He gripped the ball in his left hand. "Let me handle this, alright?" Katsuki froze as he saw the aura the nerd was giving off.

He smirked as he realized Izuku's plan. So the nerd's gonna use 100% huh? "Alright, good luck Izuku, I'll kill you if you get expelled by the way."

The greenette smirked. "Wouldn't have it any other way, Kacchan."

He readied his quirk, only this time, the air pressure around him increased. "The reason's quite simple, Aizawa-sensei." He gripped the ball harder as he outstretched his arm.

He smiled. "So let me show you." Everything went in slow motion until he shouted-

"SMAAAAAAAAASH!"

Immediately everything within his vicinity was blown away, even the students weren't safe from the air blast he generated. Aizawa included.

The ball traveled into the air at ludicrous speeds. It packed so much force that even the clouds in the distance gave way to the force.

Everyone took a few seconds to get up as they groaned from the forced knock over they received. Denki asked a question towards his teacher. "W-What's his s-score?"

The pro held up the watch he used to measure scores. This time, he couldn't hide the surprise on his face. "2.5 Kilometers." He grew a manic grin as he stared at his student, impressed. "What the hell kid?"

Izuku only smiled. "Considering I just used the tip of my finger, you can assume what I full on through would do."

Everyone ran over to him before he even had a chance to get out of the ring. "What the hell dude?! That was insane, I don't think even All Might could do something like that." The other students agreed with him.

Izuku stammered his way away from him. "O-Oh really? I-I don't think it's that impressive. Even K-Kacchan could probably achieve a better score if he went all out, A-All Might's just overkill."

"It's still an impressive throw. 2.5 Kilometers? Seriously, what the hell dude. We should start calling you Small Might."

The greenette blushed. "I-I guess I wouldn't mind that."

Katsuki smirked. "Don't push your luck. Eventually, he'll get used to the name and demand that you start calling him by his given one. It happened when we were kids."

As much as Katsuki wanted to enjoy the embarrassed face Izuku displayed, Aizawa broke them up. "Alright, problem children, the test is over so let's see the results."

This left the students mostly confused. Then Mina attempted to notify him. "Aizawa-sensei, the test isn't over yet-" Their teacher shut her up with a glare. "Okay…" The girl muttered out.

Then Aizawa casted his device towards the middle of them and out appeared a hologram screen showcasing their scores.

Izuku searched for his name but couldn't find it, even at the bottom, which meant-

"I actually got first?!"

"I'm fucking second?!" An angry Katsuki yelled. He proceeded to growl as he glared over to his best friend. Izuku! You damn nerd.

The rest of the class deadpanned at them. "So, we got one guy who's basically a cinnamon roll but is Small Might himself, and a blonde guy who's attitude is equivalent to Endeavor when he's filling trigger happy," Sero said. "I can get behind these two being the strongest in the class."

Momo shrugged. "I wouldn't say strongest, it depends on what area they're quirk is versatile in, but the two of them seem interesting."

The rest of the class laughed at them, until a shriek caught them off guard.

"Nooo! Last place?! I haven't even got to touch or mingle with any of the hot babes yet. This is unfair!" He screamed. "I demand a redo!"

Aizawa silenced him with a glare once again. "Quiet down, the expulsion was a logical ruse."

Everyone shut up as they stared blankly at Aizawa. "I'm sorry what?" Sato asked.

Their homeroom teacher smiled sadistically as he relished in their grief. "The expulsion thing was just a logical ruse to get all of you to do your best. In other words, I lied." He let his shit-eating grin hit full force.

But his grin subsided. "Unfortunately, that doesn't mean I won't do anything." He turned towards Mineta with a dark aura encompassing him. "Mintea-san, your behavior is unacceptable. Simply put it, the girls already consider you a pervert, and even some of the boys."

He captured the boy into his capture weapon. "Which is why you'll be transferring to Class 1-B in heroics."

"B-But, I won't get to touch any b- Wait what?!"

The tired adult sighed. "You'll be transferring to Class 1-B, unfortunately for the school, and all of the females, you have enough potential for me to not expel you out of heroics, but you still deserve punishment. You'll understand what I mean once you get transferred."

The boy nodded happily. "T-Thank you, Aizawa-sensei." He muttered quietly.

The pro glared at him for what must've been the fifth time. "Quiet, no one likes a kiss ass. Pack your bags and head over to the principal's office for an official transfer."

The boy did as he was told and walked out of the training grounds leaving an anxious Class 1-A behind.

All of them were shocked to hear that they have been played by, supposedly, one of the pros logical ruses. But above everyone, Katsuki was the most pissed. "Of fucking course I get second place, this is bullshit!" He yelled.

Surprisingly, despite the many curses he had dished out, the class had found it hard to disagree with him.

"He has a point," Kyoka admitted. "And something tells me he wasn't joking about the expulsion shtick."

"Really? I knew he was tricking us to begin with." Momo said.

Sato looked at her as if she said something unbelievably stupid. "You mean to tell me you knew he was joking about expulsion?! Why didn't you tell us!"

Izuku interjected. "Because, like it or not, Aizawa's method at least had solid reasoning behind it. It actually did make us do our very best, even if it was somewhat extreme."

The rest of the class looked at each other and back at the greenette before deciding his words were the most logical out of the three.

Katsuki just scowled. "It really doesn't matter to me honestly. I ended up in second place but it's only because this was just a stupid test." He walked away from the crowd of students and made his way towards the locker, but not before calling out to his friend.

"Come on Izuku, I feel like playing some Dragon Quest over at yours today."

The greenette nodded. "Sure Kacchan." The boy walked up over to him and they both walked out of the training grounds and into the boy's locker room leaving behind a baffled 1-A.

"So," Denki spoke. "What just happened?"

It had been a long day for Izuku's first day of High school. He smiled as he remembered his short, but fun experience meeting his classmates. I'll be getting to know them for over three years. I can get behind this I guess.

"Kacchan." Izuku looked towards his blonde friend. "What do you think of our classmates so far? We'll be spending the rest of our time at U.A with them so first impressions matter."

The blonde huffed hot air. "They're fucking weird, but at least they're not extras."

Izuku smiled brightly. "I guess you really like them if you stopped considering them as just "extra's."

Katsuki glared at him. "I only said they're not extra's, didn't say I liked them."

His retort just made the greenette laugh. "Of course, Kacchan."

The two continued to walk in silence as they headed over to Izuku's house.

Izuku could say for sure that he wouldn't regret his decision on coming to U.A.

Author's notes: And that concludes Chapter 8 of My Hero. I hope everyone enjoyed this chapter as much as the others. Sorry for the long wait. I was mostly busy with school and was procrastinating for some reason. I'll just try and make sure we get monthly updates at least.

As you can see, I also started to use proper Japanese honorifics because why not? I will also be editing some of the previous chapters of this fic to make it up to date.

With that out of the day, I thank you all for reading this, goodbye!
