Of Lectures and Class Notes

The blonde noble let out a great yawn, chestnut eyes staring lazily past the lecturing strategist at the empty wall behind the other man. He was uninterested, as was even more evident by the manner in which his cheek was slumped against a fisted hand, elbow cocked in an angled manner.

He jumped when Shu abruptly snapped the large textbook shut, black eyes showing obviously restrained annoyance. His voice was as calm as could be expected of a man who had a student who was paying no attention, "Sheena… Are you listening to one word I'm saying about the grasslands? The information is rather important, you know. Besides, your father requested I teach you about other lands."

Sheena let out a second yawn, slumping further against the table and book before him, responding with obvious boredom, "How am I going to concentrate? Everything outside is more interesting than this…"

The tactician didn't seem to notice as an idea appeared behind those chestnut eyes, and just as Shu was about to retort… Sheena leaned over and captured the more mature man's lips. Dark eyes widened, and Sheena pulled back, getting up with a wave and easily leaving the stunned man behind. Now he could play in peace.

The noble boy left to enjoy his games and women, leaving behind a strategist who could do nothing but sit and contemplate.

Muahahaha! This is going to be another weird one... Ummm... But for once I'm splitting it into chapters, just to give it a shot. That also gives me some time to actually think and type instead of trying to write it all in one big lump... which is why poor Akaghi is having so much trouble being literate when dealing with Helmut, and why the angsty Riou is so repetetive about Prince Luca. So, yeah. Here's something very short, but the next segment should be longer.
