Chapter 8: Bloody Tournament

Once they arrived at the village in the living forest, Sheeva immediately took Muli to his tent along with Mileena to make love as promised by their ceremony of being newlyweds. After the nightly activity, Mileena and Sheeva were unable to walk for the rest of the day causing the Shokan queen to stay with the Tarkatans for a week. During Sheeva's stay, she observed Muli's training with Mileena, Tanya, and Scarlet while also being allowed to visit Kamea. Upon entering the ruins, they were immediately greeted by two siblings, bigger than normal Xenomorphs while having some form of detail of the Yautja. Between the two walked out Kamea looked at her son.

"Welcome my son," Kamea spoke with a wide smile before her eyes turned to Sheeva. "And who is this?"

"This is my second wife Sheeva. Chiefess of the Shokan," Muli answered while bowing his head to his mother.

"Another wife? You are much more lively than your father that's is for sure," Kamea said with a soft chuckle. "Nonetheless...you dd not bring your second wife her just to show her to me did you?"

"No. I would like them to spare against you mother," Muli said looking over at Sheeva and Mileena before turning his attention back to Kamea.

"Them? Both?" Kamea asked with a raised brow but a smirk on her lips.

"Yes. Both...unless they think themselves strong enough to face you alone?" Muli asked glancing at both his wives who shook their heads slowly. "Good."

"Very well. Let me guide you all to the arena than...where I train my new sons," Kamea spoke turning around and walking deeper into the ruins along with her Predaliens following behind her.

As they reached the arena of the ruins, Kamea turned to look at Mileena and Sheeva while Muli stayed back with his arms crossed over his chest. Muli's young brothers went to the other side of the arena and turned to face their mother before Kamea charged at Mileena and Sheeva to begin their fight. Even though they were both very much well trained, Sheeva was the first to be knocked out while Mileena held her own for a good five minutes before she eventually was knocked to the ground.

"Mileena...you have trained well but still have much to learn," Kamea spoke as she helped her first daughter-in-law up before turning her attention to Sheeva who woke up seconds later. "You on the other hand...must learn a lot more than Mileena,"

"This I understand," Sheeva spoke as Kamea walked over to help her up as well.

"Next time you will do battle against my two sons before being allowed to fight me again. Until you defeat them in single combat will we fight again," Kamea spoke earning a nod from both women. "Now I must speak with you for another matter my first son,"

"What matter?" Muli asked blinking his eyes.

"As you can tell I only have four children with me...if I am to grow my family...I need sacrifices," Kamea spoke looking at Muli now.

"Sacrifices..." Muli repeated while looking at the ground in thought. "Due to the contract of the living forest, we cannot give you our people,"

"...and any Shokans would who bring shame to our name are put to death for all to see," Sheeva spoke facing Muli.

"Than...what about those willing to give their lives away?" Kamea asked earning a glance from Muli and Sheeva in deep thought.

"...such a thing would not be against the contract...but would Tarkatans be willing to die to grow our allies?" Muli asked looking over to Sheeva who nodded her head.

"I will ask my people to help your mother grow her...family," Sheeva said with a raised brow.

"Family," Kamea repeated with a smile.

"...your family. I will ask my people to see who would be willing to help you make powerful warriors," Sheeva said with a smile. "And with your reputation. There will be many warriors willing to help you mighty Kamea,"

"I look forward to that my daughter Sheeva," Kamea spoke bringing her hand to brush against the female Shokan's cheek.

"The Tarkatan's will also bring willing sacrifices," Mileena spoke up gaining Muli's and his mother's attention.

"So you shall...but keep this in mind...this is not a competition. This is to help my son and your husband to prepare for the future wars to come," Kamea pointed out gaining a nod from both women who glanced at Muli.

"If there is nothing else mother we shall take our leave...as you said...there is much to teach them both," Muli commented with a soft smile while turning and leaving the arena with his wives following behind him.

As they arrived back at the village, Sheeva nudged Muli as a means for him to follow her. Muli nodded his head and followed along with Mileena to which Sheeva turned and placed her hands upon her hips.

"Now...that we have recovered...tell me about this threat you told me about at our wedding feast?" Sheeva demanded while narrowing her eyes.

Mileena sighed softly and made her way to the bed to lay down on her side to watch the two while Muli walked in front of Sheeva bringing his left hand to her forehead. After a few seconds of physical contact, Muli took his hand back while Sheeva closed her eyes and gritted her teeth.

"And I am afraid...Shao Kahn is not the worst part about this war..." Muli pointed out attaining both of their attention. "Kronika...mother of two Elder deities...and a Titan...is the mastermind behind this coming war,"

"Titan?" Mileena repeated while sitting up now.

"The one who weaves the timeline...this is why my visions are not as accurate as before...because of her...the past...and the present will collide," Muli admitted while sighing heavily. "She is an enemy...not even I have confidence in defeating,"

Sheeva and Mileena looked at one another before turning their attention back to their husband.

"Which is more of a reason to intensify our training...something our officers will learn in the future when the time comes," Mileena spoke while smirking.

"By the time the war begins, we shall be ready," Sheeva spoke earning a nod from Muli.

"Right now Kronika knows nothing of us nor our alliance...her focus is elsewhere. Although I know not where," Muli admitted with a heavy sigh. "A worry for some other time. For now...Sheeva. Starting tomorrow I shall show you Mileena's training schedule. One you will have to shift it to fit your style,"

Over the next few weeks, Muli personally trained with Mileena and Sheeva to better themselves but not after rewarding his previous officers on their good work, leaving them bedridden for two whole days. After a week of intense training, Sheeva returned to her territory to inform any Shokan willing to help Kamea's family. Just as Mileena said, she too was gathering any who would wish to help their allies grow their numbers. Numbers of Shokan and Tarkatans were guided to the Ruins to become willing sacrifices.

As months passed, Kamea's family had grown vastly over a few weeks allowing the Xenomorph's hive to increase while making tunnel systems that connected the three clans so that evacuating or reinforcements would arrive swifter without delay. The time had come for the tournament to begin with the rules being similar to Mortal Kombat but with no hopes of life, if one were to lose, defeat meant certain death to the loser. Muli and his two wives set the tournament to take place in Sheeva's colosseum for all races to watch. Each clan was allowed to place five warriors in this tournament while also allowing weapons to be used in the battles to come.

Muli sat on his throne overlooking at colosseum with the three clans seated around the arena with three of the mains gates opening allowing Kamea, Mileena, and Sheeva to walk out while leading a group of five of their chosen warriors. Mileena led five Tarkatan warriors (three males and two females) said to be trained personally by the Hybrid Tarkatan princess for the coming day while holding a red flag. Next was Sheeva who led her five royal guards (Three females and two males) she tested herself to enter the tournament holding an orange flag. Lastly was Kamea, the mother of Muli who lead her children but what caught his eyes were not just the expected X. Shokan or X. Tarkatan or even the normal looking one but rather the Centaurian Xenomorph and a Predalien while holding a green flag.

Muli looked to his mother who nodded her head knowing that her son would demand an answer to this new sibling. A heavy sigh escaped Muli's lips before standing up from his throne raising his hand to calm the crowd who cheered for their respective clans. As the crowd calmed down, Muli looked down at the three clans and nodded his head while slowly lowering his hand.

"Today we fill the empty seats of officers that will serve directly under me," Muli spoke with a smile. "Each of the clans has chosen then team color and have been numbered before entering the arena for all to see."

As Muli finished his small starting speech the last gate opened up revealing Scarlet walking out holding a large wooden box with a hole big enough to fit a hand inside even if they were a Shokan.

"Inside this box contains skulls...all painted differently to match your opponent's clan and number. Do note that one of you will be the odd one out. As such I have prepared a special event to prove your worth. Kamea's clan shall be responsible for throwing the order of which the matches will take pl" Muli said as he looked down to Scarlet and nudged his head.

Scarlet only smiled before walking forward to begin distributing the skulls revealing the matches to be set as such;

1st match- Predalien vs. M. Shokan 2nd match- X. Shokan vs. F. Shokan 3rd match- X. Tarkatan vs. F. Tarkatan 4th match- X. Centaurian vs. F. Shokan 5th match- Xenomorph vs. F. Tarkatan 6th match- M. Tarkatan vs. M. Shokan 7th match- M. Tarkatan vs. F. Shokan Special event- Tarkatan vs. ?

The last two matches were set as the last leaving one Tarktana out for a special event, not even his wives knew about. As the matches commenced, Muli merely watched with his two wives and his mother who joined him in his booth to watch the event unfold. Muli watched with a smirk as the Predalien fought against a large Shokan which almost resembled Goro for a second. It made Muli curious about how well his mother trained her bodyguards but was soon shown as the Predalien's tail thrash out and cut the Shokan's right arms. This caused the Shokan to grit his teeth while charging forward with his dragon tooth gauntlets only for the Predalien to lung forward.

Muli watched with a smile as the Predalien brought its tail back to deflect the Shokan's left arms while plunging its right hand through his opponent's chest piercing the heart. The Predalien snarled while pulling its right hand out of the Shokan's chest walking back and raising its opposite hand to screech to his younger siblings. Sheeva narrowed her eyes at this while Kamea smirked lightly. While the arena was being cleaned, the Predalien made his way to the victory booth to watch the next match that would take place.

Once the arena was cleared, the next eyes match came into play with a Xenomorph Shokan and a Female Shokan. Sheeva watched with narrowed eyes as they had lost one match and so easily as the Shokan Empress glanced at Kamea. Muli's mother also watched this fight with interest since Kamea did not train them herself. They chose to train themselves seeing that they had inherited the skills of their sacrifices but there was a difference between a Shokan and a royal guard. This fight only proved it as the Shokan overpowered the Xenomorph variant by pinning it to the ground before tearing its arms off and throwing them to the side.

As the Xenomorph variants had their arms torn off, the Shokan shouted before the tail lashed out toward her face. The Shokan avoided it before taking hold of the tail and raising it over her head to slam it into the ground. While the Xenomorph was slammed into the ground, some of its blood dripped onto the Shokan's arms before it was killed earning a grunt of pain as her skin was being burned through. Even as the Xenomorph was killed, the Shokan was still being wounded by the acidic blood but still, the outworlder raised her hands in victory.

Sheeva smiled at this while nodding her head while turning to Kamea who was also clapping her hands impressed at the show of strength and durability.

"Treat our victor," Muli commanded as the Shokan was escorted out of the arena by a couple of Tarkatans.

The next match was a battle between two Tarkatans, a female, and a Xenomorph. Mileena watched with high expectations due to the hellish training she put the Tarkatans through. Although Mileena did not know what kind of training the Xenomorphs might have gone through, she was confident in her teachings. As the match started, both Tarkatans brought out their arm blades and started to clash with one another even if the Xenomorph had an extra blade to use. This match lasted only a few minutes before the female Tarkatan was able to cut off the Xenomorphs tail followed by its head in one flowed movement.

Mileena chuckled while clapping her hands along with Kamea which caught the hybrid's attention.

"Why do you clap after two of your children have lost? Do you have no shame of your two defeats?" Mileena asked with a raised brow while Kamea sighed.

"The only ones I have ever trained were the Predaliens. As for the others, they did not wish to be trained by me or their elder siblings. This will be a good lesson for them to learn...that their primal instincts are not enough," Kamea answered with a smile.

"...that makes sense...they are much more feral and mindless when they attack. No thought...just kill," Mileena started as the female Tarkatan warrior was escorted out of the arena while it was being cleaned for the next match.

"Not like the first match," Sheeva added while sighing.

"Although I have not trained the others...that does not mean some have not been training on their own," Kamea notified while glancing at Sheeva for a second before she turned her gaze to the arena.

The gates opened again revealing another female Shokan royal guard on one side while a Xenomorph Centaurian came out the other. Both faced each other while the female Shokan scuffed before the two charged at one another. As the two charged at one another, the female Shokan moved out of the way and watched her opponent ride past until her view of the world was upside down. Sheeva looked at this wide-eyed while leaning forward along with Mileena while Muli chuckled at this tactic used by the Xenomorph Centaurian.

"He charged forward as a feint while using his tail to finish the match swiftly. Well done," Muli commented in which Sheeva gritted her teeth before sitting back on her chair.

With half of the main matches completed, Muli stood up and raised his hand to stop the tournament temporarily.

"You've all fought well. So we shall stop the event for today and continue tomorrow," Muli commanded earning a cheer from the clans.

Both of his wives and Kamea stood from their seats and left the booth to speak with their victors. Later that night they celebrated their success while Kamea spoke in private with her children. After the small feast, Muli tended to his wives and two female officers with them in charge so he would not hurt them. After their little fun, Muli lay in bed smiling happily while Sheeva and Mileena were beside him with their heads placed upon his arms like a pillow.

-Next Day-

As the next day came and breakfast was done, the next matches with the Xenomorph fighting another Female Tarkatan. The two fought one another with the Tarkatan moving out of the way now and again only to be impaled by its tail through her foot. Mileena narrowed her eyes at her warrior's carelessness before the Xenomorph lunged towards its injured prey. As the Xenomorph lunged at the Tarkatan, she grinned before ducking under its attack to behead the creature. Muli clapped his hands impressed at the tactic while turning to his first wife nodding his head.

"You have taught your warriors well my love," Muli complimented earning a soft chuckle from Mileena.

"I taught them how to fight my dearest...not how to survive. That was the Tarkatans doing," Mileena replied earning a nod from Muli who turned his attention back to the area.

Muli turned his attention to the arena seeing a Shokan walkout as well as a tarkatan. What caught Muli's eyes was the armor the Shokan wore causing the chief to glance at Sheeva.

"Your right hand?" Muli asked earning a nod from the female Shokan who smirked at the question. "Interesting,"

After hearing this bit of information, Mileena could not help but be worried about the fight that was bound to take place as the Shokan walked forward with narrowed eyes. The Tarkatan snarled at the Shokan before charging at him with his arm blades sprung out. As the Tarkatan slashed to the Shokan, the four-armed warrior merely moved out of the way of the attacks by mere inches. Eventually, the Shokan got a hold of the Tarkatan's right swing followed by grabbing his opponent's opposite arm making the two look at one another before the arm-bladed warrior was torn apart. Mileena snarled at this while Sheeva scuffed as the Shokan warrior looked up at his empress and raised his right fist toward her before he glared at Muli.

"Oh?" Muli spoke narrowing his eyes while grinning lightly.

Once the arena was cleaned up, the next match began seeing it was a match between a female Shokan and Tarkatan. This time Mileena chuckled gaining Sheeva's attention.

"This one is my best student. Although I have trained everyone at the same level, this one has picked up on fighting faster than I expected. I would even say that he is as good as me," Mileena commented earning a glance from Muli.

"Something to test out later," Muli said as he turned his gaze back to the arena as the two charged at one another.

Unlike his other comrade, this Tarkatan did not bring his arm blades out immediately which caught Muli's eyes as he leaned forward. The female Shokan groaned while walking forward in an attempt to grab the Tarkatan before her opponent performed a swift sweep kick. This caused the Shokan to jump up only for her opponent to come back to slide his arm-blades out to pierce the four-armed warrior's chest and head. Muli stood up and brought his hands to his sides while chuckling softly.

"Well done...son of Baraka..." Muli spoke causing Mileena's eyes to widen and look from her husband and down to the warrior.

The Tarkatan turned to Muli before bringing his right hand to his chest and bowed his head in respect.

"You have your father's fighting spirit...even if it is slightly different," Muli commented causing the son of Baraka to raise his head grinning. "You bring honor to Baraka's bloodline young Tarkatan...and as such, I wish for you to continue to bring him honor,"

As Baraka's son left the arena so it can be cleaned, the last Tarkatan walked into the arena looking around. Muli smiled at this and swayed his hand causing the main gate to open to reveal one of Shao Kahn's larger terrors. It was a Tormentor that Shao Kahn used to invade Earth Realm, this caused Mileena to jump to her feet while glaring at the large creature.

"How do you expect a lone Tarkatan to fight such a large creature when it takes at least eight of them to chain it down?!" Mileena screamed while turning to look at Muli enraged at this.

"I do not expect him to defeat the Tormentor. All I expect him to do is survive for one minute," Muli spoke crossing his arms over his chest.

"You heard your chief. Survive one minute against this creature and you will have earned your seat Tarkatan!" Sheeva shouted while Muli watched.

The Tarkatan snarled but nodded his head while running toward the creature instead of running away. As the Tarkatan grew closer, the Tormentor released a roar before stretching its right hand to grab the warrior. Once the Tormentor's hand was inches from touching the Tarkatan, the warrior slid under the creature's grasp and slashed at its wrist. With the Tormentor's right wrist cut, it screamed in pain while pulling its hand back allowing the Tarkatan to run forward and slash at the creature's joints. It took a whole minute before the Tormentor fell to the ground bleeding to death while the Tarkatan painted heavily at his actions.

With the tournament over, Muli watched as the winners of the tournament walked in with Sheeva's right-hand man still glaring at the chief. As they lined up, Muli walked off from his booth to land on the ground and grip his hands into fists while walking up to the same Shokan.

"You have won your match Shokan...now...what do you wish?" Muli asked while taking a step back. "Before you answer...think very carefully,"

"...I challenge you for the right to claim the throne!" The Shokan shouted which Sheeva groaned while rolling her eyes.

"I accept...but before we battle. Tell me. Why have you not joined the fight like the many other Shokan's? Were you not present?" Muli asked rolling his shoulders back while the other contestants moved to the side.

"Lady Sheeva tasked me with scouting a certain part of Out World to find a means to get to Earth Realm," The Shokan answered.

"...a question for Sheeva later. Now my final question Shokan...what is your name?" Muli asked grinning softly.

"Osir," The Shokan spoke rolling his shoulders back as well.

"Your name shall be remembered for all eternity Osir. The first to challenge my rule," Muli spoke narrowing his eyes. "Many will follow in your footsteps Osir...and I will remember every last one of their names,"

"You speak if you have already won...when I have not shown you what I can truly do," Osir said annoyed.

"If you have lived as long as I...you would know why," Muli replied before the two started to walk toward one another.

They stopped mere inches away from one another looking into the eyes of each other before finally they began to wail away at one another. There was no dodging or even blocking as it was a full-on slugfest. Sheeva watched in awe at Muli's durability while Mileena narrowed her eyes at the fight taking place. Kamea only chuckled at the slugfest before Osir took hold of Muli's right arm followed by his left and began to raise the Chief off the ground. Muli only watched while shaking his head in disappointment causing Osir to blink his eyes.

"Why do you look disappointed?" Osir asked glaring at Muli.

"Because Goro did the same thing," Muli said before he did a swift high kick forcing Osir to look up at the sky.

Unlike Goro, he did not loosen his hold but rather tightened it as Osir slowly brought his head down nearly dazed while his jaw was knocked out of place. Muli could not help but smile before he gathered green energy and released it breaking out of Osir's iron grip. Osir staggered backward before being tackled by Muli took hold of the Shokan and flung him overhead just to slam him back into the ground. The Shokan warrior groaned before being lifted off the ground but this time only his head revealing Muli kneeling right beside him.

"You are stronger than Goro I will give you that Osir. With this I will give you an honorable death," Muli spoke slamming his head back into the ground to daze the four-armed warrior before standing up and bringing out his spear and piercing the Shokan through his heart.

Osir laid there motionless before Muli pulled his spear back with the clans cheering loudly at their leader's display of power as well as a show of honor.

"Osir is dead...and as such I shall honor his name by placing it upon a monolith of fighters who have died by challenging me. Now tell me your names...champions," Muli spoke turning his gaze to the contestants who arrived before the leader of the three clans again.

"I shall speak for my children," Kamea spoke walking up beside her son looking at the Predalien and the Xenomorph Centaurian. "The Xenomorph Yautja's name is Kekoa while the other's name is Ikaika,"

"The Warrior...and Strong. Fitting names for my siblings," Muli said nodding his head to the two Xenomorphs who bowed their heads in thanks as the chief turned his attention to the four Tarkatans first going to the son of Baraka. "And yours?"

"I am Barako...son of the mighty Baraka," The Tarkatan spoke bowing his head in respect.

"Then I ask that you continue to honor your father's name and bloodline Barako," Muli said turning his attention to the next Tarkatan.

"I am Skiv. Barako's partner," Skiv spoke bowing her head in respect as Muli turned his attention to the next Tarkatan.

"Raka," The Tarkatan answered bowing his head before Muli turned his attention to the last Tarkatan who defeated the Tormentor by himself.

"Rava," The female Tarkatan answered causing Muli to look between the two.

"Twins," Muli said earning a nod from both of them earning a smile from the chief before he turned his attention to the last Shokan with his hands by his sides. "And your name?"

"My name is Siris. Lady Sheeva's left hand," She replied earning a nod from Muli who glanced over his shoulder at his second wife smiling.

Muli nodded his head to Sheeva who returned the gesture in kind before he turned his attention back to Siris while backing away.

"These seven will be officers who serve directly under me and take orders from either me, my wives, or my mother. As such I welcome you all into my home as my equals. I will not demand that you do anything I would not want my own children to go into. So tonight...we all feast!" Muli shouted while raising both of his arms earning a loud cheer from the three clans. "For now return to your clan leaders and speak with them...I am sure they have much to say...even more than me probably,"

With that said the seven officers left the field along with Muli who met up with Scarlat and Tanya.

"There is one spot open though Mighty Muli...shall we leave it closed or find someone else?" Scarlet asked glancing at her lover.

"I will seek out a replacement...but later," Muli answered with a sigh.

"You have someone in mind?" Tanya asked blinking her eyes.

"Yes. It all depends if he has caught wind of what is happening or not," Muli said with a smirk. "If anything we shall find out tonight,"

-Night-

Muli sat between his wives while his mother was seated next to his first wife. The xenomorphs were commanded to return to the hive and continue to expand excluding Kekoa and Ikaika who sat beside their mother eating their fill. All of a sudden the doors to Sheeva's dining hall opened slowly to reveal Rain walking in while being escorted by a Shokan guard. This causes the entire dining hall to fall silent while their eyes fell on the Edenian. It did not take long before Rain stood five meters away from Muli with his eyes locked on the leader of the three clans. Rain eventually closed his eyes and got down on his knee while bowing his head.

"I have come to ask for the final seat as your officer...master Muli," Rain spoke in a soft respectful tone.

Tanya's eyes grew wide at Rain's action to her master and were about to stand up as a means to reinforce the Edenians request. Before Tanya could even get to her feet, she was stopped by Mileena who raised her hand as a means to stop her action. Tanya looked at Mileena before nodding her head and sitting back down before looking back to Rain with worried eyes. Muli stood up from his throne and made his way to the prince's side with his hands placed behind his back.

"And why should I accept you as my final officer? Last I remember the only allegiance you are loyal to is yourself. Even more, so that you view yourself as a god. Am I wrong?" Muli asked with narrowed eyes.

"You are not wrong Muli. But I have changed on my journey to find my purpose...and that purpose...led me to you," Rain answered earning a Saint nod from Muli.

"And what guarantee do I have that you have no hidden agenda like before?" Muli asked with a raised brow while bringing his hands to his sides.

"My life," Rain responded without hesitation.

"And if you run?"Muli asked while gripping his hands into fists.

"I will not," Rain answered bluntly.

"Very well. A small test to prove that you are not lying," Muli said easing his grip on his hands. " What if I commanded you to end your life right here and now,"

"Then I will do as you commanded," Rain answered.

"... Then I command you to perform Hara-kiri," Muli commanded.

Rain's eyes opened slowly while raising his head yet still looking to the ground as he swayed his right hand to the side causing a stream of water to form around his hand like a blade. The Edenian sighed softly before bringing the water blade toward his own neck while closing his eyes expecting a swift death. Before the blade came to contact with the Rain's skin, Muli's left hand took hold of the Edenians right wrist while his opposite took hold of the water blade to check its sharpness. The water blade easily sliced through Muli's hand cutting it cleanly off only for it to reattach itself to the immortal warrior's other half of his hand.

"You pass...for now," Muli said with a smile.

"For now?" Rain asked looking up at his new master.

"You have proven your loyalty. That is without question but you are part of no clan and have yet to prove your strength to all of them," Muli pointed out while patting the Edenians shoulder softly.

This caused Rain to stand up while narrowing his eyes.

"Who do I have to defeat to prove myself?" Rain asked looking at the official officers.

"You were late Rain...so to make up for it you will be fighting me," Muli said with a faint chuckle.

"If that is what I must do then so be it," Rain said turning his attention to Muli while gripping his hands into fists.

"But not tonight. Tonight we celebrate the closing of this tournament and mourn the loss of those who died in it. For now, you may eat with us Rain. Come tomorrow we shall fight for all to see," Muli announced while making his way back to his throne to sit down and continue eating.

Rain only nodded at this before looking towards Tanya and making his way towards her. Upon reaching Tanya he sat in the empty chair while making his plate as his eyes scanned the room but mostly to the xenomorphs sitting beside what he could guess was the alien's leader.

"What have I missed?" Rain asked turning his attention to Tanya.

"You've missed much Rain. Now eat. You'll need the energy for the fight that is to take place tomorrow," Tanya warned as she continued to eat.

"Did I miss that much Tanya?" Rain asked with a raised brow.

"With Muli, much has changed over the course of a few weeks," Tanya confirmed with a smile.

"I do not doubt that," Rain said as he continued to eat his meal.

/To be continued...
