AN: I don't own Ouran or Into the Woods

Chapter Eighty-One: Moments in the Woods

Reiko's POV

Dream

Once upon a time in a far off kingdom there lay a small village at the edge of the woods…

"I wish" A young maiden with black hair and green eyes appeared.

And in this village…

"More than anything" Sang the maiden.

Lived a young maiden…

"More than life." She continued, "More than jewels"

A care-free young lad…

"I wish" A blond young lad appeared, "More than life"

And a childless baker.

"I wish" A dark haired man and a brunette woman appeared.

"More than anything" The dark haired man sang.

"More than the moon…" The brunette woman sang.

"I wish" They sang together.

End Dream

I woke up before the dream could run its course once again. I didn't want to be in the woods or have anymore moments in the woods at the present moment. It's always the same. Kimi is Cinderella, who wishes to go to the festival and dance with the prince, Kaoru, who ends up being a philanderer and cheating on her with several maidens including the Baker's Wife, Sumi, and Snow White, Haruhi. Takashi and Sumi are the Baker and his wife who long for a child, but they can't have one because the Witch, Renge, cast a spell on Takashi's family so they can never have kids. Yuki is Rapunzel stuck in a tower, and her prince is Kyoya. Mitsu is Jack and the Beanstalk. Red Riding Hood is Hana. The dream follows Into the Woods, putting the right people in the right character situations. Kimi gets screwed over by Kaoru, and goes to live with Takashi, but instead of Into the Woods where Cinderella ends up with the Baker, or at least it looks that way, she ends up with another peasant played by Hikaru. Sumi after getting the child that she wanted, dies. She is killed by a giant, leaving Takashi to care for the baby, as well as Hana and Mitsu. Yuki is saved by Kyoya and it is unknown what becomes of them. It's one of those dreams that makes complete sense and doesn't at the same time.

"Sumi's pregnant and they're getting married." Mitsu replied after I woke him up and told him the whole dream that I had been having. "Kaoru did ask out Haruhi, but he didn't go out with her, Hikaru did, but Hikaru has been spending a lot of time with Kimi…"

"They're getting married?"

"Yeah, Takashi thought it would be best."

"Does she want that?"

"She wants to marry him."

"But is she ready to?"

"She's pregnant, I don't know if there's much leeway here."

"Yes, it's the noble thing to do, but is it the right thing for them right now?"

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know if it's going to end up very well for her if they do right now."

"What do you mean-" Mitsu started, "You don't mean-"

"She's going to have a hard time with this and does not need anymore stress than she's already going to have."

"Takashi could-"

"That added stress isn't going to be from him personally."

"I'll call him tomorrow." Mitsu replied, "Rei?"

"Yeah?"

"Did Kyoya and Kaoru sing Agony at all?"

Sumi's POV

"Are you guys really getting married tomorrow?" Yuki asked.

"It looks like it." I replied.

"Do you want to get married?"

"I do."

"Right now?"

"I don't have much of a choice, now do I?"

"You always have a choice." She replied, "I know you love him. I know you want to marry him, but are you mentally prepared to do it tomorrow? Are you prepared to have his parents, who can't stand you, dislike you further for reasons like entrapping their son in a marriage well before they think he's ready? Are you ready to be married with kids, have the husband, the daughter, and the baby? You have one, almost two, starting on the third, two of them almost at time, are you ready for what all that entails? This is a life changing decision, not only for you and Takashi, but for Hana as well. Do me and yourself a favor, and think about what you're about to get into. I think Takashi is Mr. Right for you, but I don't think this may be your right moment and you're doing it because it's the right thing to do, is it right for you, I don't know, I think it may be a little fast. You can take or leave my advice; I'm just saying that maybe you should think about this for a moment. You don't always stop to think in areas where Takashi is concerned, and a lot of times you don't have to, but maybe this time you should consider it." With that said she left.

Kimi's POV

"…And we ended up running through the gate to get to our flight, it was ridiculous." I laughed.

Hikaru looked at me astounded, "How did that woman and her kids get on a first class flight back home that night?"

"I don't know. I'm still trying to figure out how there was no airport security to stop her children from breaking the plane."

"Would they have known better?"

"No, they were only like five, maybe, their mother should have been watching them."

"How oblivious can you be to let your kids break a plane?"

"I have no idea." I laughed.

"You went about everywhere before all of this happened."

"We moved a lot and we traveled even more. My parents, well my mother, didn't like to stay in one place for very long."

"What about you?"

"I like to travel, but I also think that having a home as well would be nice too."

"Maybe one day, you'll get to have both."

"I hope so."
