Chapter 1: Lilo's Big Crush
"Sorry I led you on a goose chase," Lilo apologized to Victoria, holding out a flashlight to see in the dark alone. "Guess that lead was a total bust." She was hoping to find their way out of the dense woods before she could break it to her bestie how they were lost. "Hey, what could you do?" Lilo heard Victoria replied with an empathetic voice. "Stitch ate himself into a food coma so you need any help you can get." She felt her heart skip a beat when they held hands.
Lilo would've been scared out of her wits even with Stitch to protect her but felt calmer with Victoria by her side. She'd grown fonder of the girl her age who accepted her for all her eccentricity and found her... attractive even. The freckles on her face made her look so cute while her ponytail really brought out her adventurous spirit. However, Lilo didn't dare confess her feelings or even admit them to herself. Liking another girl like she would a boy felt weird. Even for her.
"Wow, isn't that pretty," Victoria exclaimed when she and Lilo found themselves in a clearing. The trees were more spread out to allow the starry skies to display themselves and the nearly full moon. Lilo was amazed but found her eyes drawn to Victoria's transfixed expression. Her exuberance radiated from her nice face alone to the little girl's further attraction. "It is," Lilo said warmly. She could even see the stars reflect in the red-head's pupils, adding to her radiance.
"What was that?" Victoria asked curiously, looking her way back at Lilo. The Hawaiian girl quickly realized that her infatuation was on full display and hastily dropped her warm smile to change the subject. "I was, um," she fumbled with red all over her face, "about to suggest we sleep before we find our way home." She prayed that her cover hadn't been blown with a nervous chuckle. "Better not run ourselves ragged, you know?" She knew how David felt around Nani now.
"Good idea," Victoria happily agreed while taking off her backpack, oblivious to Lilo's near miss. "Let's take turns keeping watch for that experiment." She led her best friend up to a tree with big roots and leaves covering up the moonlight. "I'll take first watch," Lilo volunteered, hoping to be chivalrous. "You gotta be beat from all that walking." Victoria yawned while sitting on the dirt against a big root. "'Beat' is putting it mildly." She laid her backpack down to rest her head.
"Sweet dreams," Lilo wished to Victoria, still trying to sound natural. "I'll let you know if anything goes on." She leaned her back against the tree trunk upon sitting herself and kicked off her sandals, stretching out her weary toes. "Thanks for," Victoria yawned, closing her eyes while yawning, "being my knight in shining armor." Lilo blushed once again at the idea and more when her bestie smiled while snoring slightly. "Of course, m'lady," she replied, looking down at her.
Lilo sighed wistfully while admiring Victoria's peaceful smile in her slumber and wishing she had the nerve to cuddle up. She couldn't even claim it was getting cold when the Hawaiian climate was too warm. Her mind was so caught up in pining for Victoria that it forgot to keep her from nodding off and closing her eyes in her growing drowsiness. Lilo decided to rest herself rather than wrack her head over her infatuation. She slightly snored while still sitting up straight enough.
Lilo was oblivious when a scaly brown tendril slithered from around the tree and began to wrap around her waist. It made a strong coil that pinned her hands up to her chubby belly and continued to slither around her torso. The coils slowly formed a cocoon around Lilo while rousing her from her sleep. "Mmmmmm," she moaned while slowly opening her eyes, feeling the scales pressed to her skin. "V-," Lilo groggily began when the tail looped around her neck. "Victori-URK!"
Lilo's eyes nearly bulged out of their socket when the tail sharply squeezed her throat and fully wrapped around her neck. Nearly her entire torso was cocooned within scaly coils that began to slowly squeeze her all over. Nearly all the air inside Lilo was squeezed out like a tube of toothpaste. She could feel how it stung her throat to exhale against her will and hear the pathetic wheeze it all made. Her chubby cheeks puffed up when the coils shifted and adjusted.
Lilo's legs tried to kick but were pinned by the coil cocoon's bottom and ended up flailing feebly around on the ground. Her toes twitched in response to the pressure pushing on her from every which way. Her mind was ablaze with confusion over how this just... happened and terror over how it was happening full stop. Lilo tried to rationalize it all as a nightmare, just a bad dream she'd soon awaken from. However, a sharp "SSSSSSSSS!" dashed any such hopes into dust.
Lilo's eyes barely managed to look up and see the head of a large python slither up from around the tree on her right. It had the same big, beady eyes as Stitch and all of his other cousins except shaped like an Earth Snake. It flickered its tongue in her face to taste her scent while conveying a very neutral expression on its face. Lilo's heart sank when she could see that there was no reasoning with it. It wasn't evil or misunderstood like Stitch. It was just hungry.
Hungry for little girls.
Lilo finds herself with no Stitch to rescue her and a best friend who knows nothing of their current crisis. The nightmare has only just begun.
