Lilo's torture continues beyond being strangled when Victoria wakes up and looks up...
Chapter 2: Hypnotic Hawaiian Nights
Victoria stirred in her light slumber when her ears picked up on weird noises such as hissing and a few wheezes. At first, she thought it was the faulty water heater that her dad was always trying to fix before realizing that she wasn't even home. Opening her eyes slowly, Victoria yawned deeply while raising her head off of her backpack and stretched out her neck. "Everything okay, Lilo?" she began to ask while rolling onto her backside. "If you want, I still have Scrum-"
Victoria's eyes shot open with a deep gasp while she sat up straight speedily. There was Lilo wrapped up in the coils of a large brown python with only her head on top and legs on the bottom being exposed. Her best friend's expression was a perpetual look of terror with her mouth agape, her unblinking eyes wide open and violet hues over coming her face. Victoria could tell from Lilo's feeble wheezing that the snake was crushing her windpipe. Her BFF was a snack.
Before Victoria could properly process this peril, the python turned its head and cast its neutral gaze upon the redhead upon hearing her gasp. She sprung to her feet but quickly found fear weighing her down like cement shoes when the snake started slithering towards her. "Run..." Victoria heard Lilo's strained tone before glancing over. "Go..." It broke her heart to hear her best friend tell her to go with so little air allowed. The violet hues on her face became far more vivid.
Part of Victoria wanted to run but another part was mortified about leaving Lilo for dead. Part of her knew she didn't have a chance with a python yet that other part of her knew that she'd never be able to live with herself for running. However, her train of thought was interrupted by a sharp hiss to her ear that made her jump in fright. There was the python with its snout inches from her nose and with... its eyes... suddenly... changing colors. Her fear became curiosity.
Yellow. Blue. Green. A pattern of three flowing rings pour out of the serpent's beady eyes as they made contact with Victoria's. The redhead found herself initially fascinated by this odd phenomenon despite her paralyzing terror before... something happened. Victoria found these colors... soothing. Pleasing. Sedative. Addicting. Her arms slowly lowered from her defensive posture and began hanging by her hips. Her mouth began to curl into a smile bit by little bit.
Victoria soon forgot to be afraid period the more she took in the captivating colors. This snake couldn't have meant her harm when she felt this happy locked into his gaze. Victoria's smile grew into a dopey grin across her face the more she indulged in the addictive serenity of these eyes. Her thoughts slowed to a near crawl when she unshackled all the burdens life and society placed upon her mind. The world ceased to be around Victoria. It was but herself and the eyes.
PING!
"No..." Lilo wheezed in horror when she saw Victoria go totally stiff when standing up straight. Her crush's eyes were widened with the python's colorful rings overflowing out from her pupils, staring out into virtually nothing. Victoria's smile stretched from cheek to cheek in a manner that was simultaneously adorable and unsettling to Lilo with how unnatural it was. However, true horror filled her once the python began to open up its mouth wider. It was finally ready to feed.
Seeing the python lift its head high, Lilo was about to muster every bit of breath she could to warn Victoria whether it was futile or not. She loved the redhead too much to let her be swallowed alive if she could help it. However, Lilo soon found the coil cocoon slowly clench her harder and cut off her oxygen completely. The only sounds the poor girl could make were small grunts that few would make out while her face turned violet with a mix of red. Her head looked fit to burst.
Lilo would've passed out then and there if not for the sight of the python's maw engulfing Victoria, giving her that adrenaline boost. Its lips reaches her hips within one single gulp with her hands sticking out while it lifted its red-headed prey off the ground. Lilo helplessly looked at how Victoria's legs dangled so listlessly before the python made another strong gulp that took her in up to her knees. Her feet hung out of the serpent's mouth before it gulped one last time.
Lilo's mind furiously tried to deny what she was seeing once the python finally shut its maw on Victoria's feet. She saw how it swallowed one last time and let the bulge carrying her friend to his stomach but still tried to rationalize it as a vivid dream. Yes. A dream. Classic Weird-lo as Myrtle would put it. Lilo would snap her eyes open any minute and find Victoria sleeping like a baby to her relief. She'd rush to her bestie's side and finally come clean about her feelings right there.
Lilo's bargaining was cut short when the python made a beeline back for her and took a moment to get one last look at her. Her face had become beat red in going for so long without oxygen while her torturer gave her that blank stare without sympathy or malice. At long last, it widened its maw and displayed its gullet to Lilo. For but a brief second that felt like hours, she could see the entrance to what would soon become her final resting place. A living, breathing tomb.
Lilo finally felt the last of her fight whittle away just in time for the python to engulf her head with its maw. It began unraveling the coils like she was a candy bar from a tight wrapper and swallowed strongly in order to reach her thighs. Lilo's legs dangled listlessly in its mouth before being slurped up like two big noodles right up to her ankles. One might've made out her bare feet slightly twitching in a last attempt at salvation. It lasted but a second before the final gulp.
'Til death do they part. At least, that's often the idea.
