The shoes.

As Alara enters the dance class wearing a royal red silk dress and her black flower high heels.

She walked in and she could see people putting on shoes.

Just as Alara was about to touch these dark dress shoes, Amber walked over.

"Alara don't even think about touching those stinky shoes."

Amber said as she led Alara to a corner of the room.

"I brought an extra pair…. Just for you ." Amber stated as she handed Alara these dark blue dress shoes.

"Thanks." Alara said as she took the shoes.

"You're very welcome." Amber replied back

"Now hurry up and get ready."

Aber said and then walked away

Alara walked over to a chair and sat down.

As she put on the shoes she looked at the other kids.

"Children gather round."

Alara looked up to see a guy with white hair all slicked back.

Alara rushed over and stood by james and amber

"So you think you can waltz, yeah?" The teacher asked

"We shall see about that." The teacher said

" I need a volunteer." The teacher said as he pointed to the students.

James pushed Alara out and she stepped in front of the teacher.

"New girl, excellent." The teacher said as he stuck out his hands.

"Follow my lead." Alara took his hands and the music started.

As Alara started to spin she looked at her feet.

Just as she was about to spin again her foot stuck out, she started to hop.

Every jump got higher.

Alara looked at Amber to see she had a smirk on her face.

Alara turned around and she spun into a pile of pillows.

As the coach landed Alara hopped in.

Amber got in a seat right by her, then Sophia and James.

"Oh Alara, I must have grabbed a pair of Cedric's trick shoes by mistake.

He's always leaving his stuff lying around in the castle.

Sorry." Amber mocked

"Coachmen, can we get going?" Sophia asked

'The ball starts in four hours.' Alara thought as she stared at the sky

As Alara turned the corner she saw Bailiwick standing by the railing looking out at something.

"Ah princess Alara the ball room is almost ready." Bailiwick announced as Alara turned her head to look over the railing.

There were lilacs and green roses hanging from pillars. There was a shining chandelier hanging in the middle of the room.

"There is only one thing missing." Bailiwick stated as he walked over to Alara

"A few princesses." Bailiwick said

"It's Your guys time to shine, Alara and I can't wait to see you dance the first waltz." Bailiwick stated as he started to walk away.

'I know.' Alara thought
