Nikita approaches April and Casey with severe contempt on her face. Her eyes were burning with rage, the same rage that she felt the day April walked out on her and the Turtles. Nikita had been holding back her anger for weeks but now she was ready to release it and she knew just who to take her anger out on. April needed to be punished for the emotional pain she caused towards Nikita and the Turtles, especially Donatello. She thought back at how Donnie was really upset when April yelled at him but she also remembered that he was also upset at her for yelling at April. Ever since that incident, Donnie had been working on a retromutagen to return April's father back to normal and hopefully win back April's friendship. But Nikita only felt sadness and anger that day, both directed at April for hurting their feelings and wanting to make her feel the same way they felt when she broke their friendship off. Now it was time to confront April and stand up to her once and for all.

"Nikki?! What are you doing here?!" April called out. "No! The real question is: what the hell are you doing hanging out with that creep?!" Nikita says pointing to Casey.

He was surprised to see such an angry person like that while April was mortified that Nikita would confront her with such rage. She knew that Nikita gets angry sometimes, with her rage being equal to Raph's. But this was no ordinary rage: this was a mixture of rage and sadness. It was clear in April's mind that Nikita was still mad at her, that she was holding back all her anger and sadness until it finally consumed her from within.

"What are you talking about?" April asked. "You know damn well what I'm talking about!" Nikita yelled out. "You think you can just walk out on and replace us with someone else?!" She pointed towards Casey.

"April, who is this girl and why is she yelling at you?" He asked. "Casey, this is one of the friends I was talking to you about." April tells him. "FORMER friends, you mean. And why don't you butt out of this?" Nikita says. "Don't talk to Casey like that!" April said. "Oh and what are you going to do? Yell at us some more, huh?!" Nikita said.

April was clearly upset with Nikita for barging into the gymnasium and damaging half the building in the process. But she didn't want to yell at her former best friend without making things worse. So she took a deep breath and tried to gently talk Nikita down.

"Nikki, I want you to listen to me." April says. "Listen to you?" Nikita asks. "Yes, listen: I know you're still mad at me for what I said." April said. "I know I said that I didn't want to see your faces again, but I've been talking to Casey and after a lot of thought." Nikita could only stand in silence as she waited for April to respond. "I want to talk things out and maybe become friends again."

Nikita thought about it for a moment. She couldn't believe what she was hearing: April WANTS to be friends with her and the Turtles again. This was like a dream come true. April was going to come back into their lives and everything was going to go back to normal, somewhat. But then Nikita thought back to that day, back when April got really mad and said that she never wanted to see their faces ever again. Those hurtful words still stuck to her mind:

Don't! Don't touch me! You keep away from me! I never wanna see your faces, ever again!

Remembering that day causes Nikita to become engulfed with rage once more and she angrily swats April's hand away.

"It's already too late for apologies, April! Now is the time for revenge!" She says as she flies up into the sky.

Nikita uses her power over the dark spikes to destroy the entire building in an attempt to kill April and Casey. The two teens work together to avoid getting stabbed by the spikes. The spikes began to tear apart the ground and the entire area started to shake. April spots Nikita floating towards the destroyed hockey rink and decides to confront her.

"I have to get up there." April tells Casey. "Are you insane?! That girl wants to kill us!" Casey said. "Not you, just me. She has a good reason to, but if I talk her down, she'll stop this whole rampage." April said. "You're a bold girl, red." Casey said.

April starts to run towards Nikita while Casey helps back her up. Nikita began to throw spikes at them but they managed to dodge the spikes. Casey lifts April up onto a platform and she soon finds herself face to face with Nikita.

"Nikki! Stop this right now!" April called out. "Why should I?!" Nikita asked. "You're going to destroy the building! Just stop this now!" April said. "I don't have to listen to you!" Nikita yelled out.

She punches April and sends her flying against a wall. Casey jumps from behind her and tries to restrain her with his hockey stick. But Nikita manages to break free from him and disappears in the black smoke.

"Where did she go?!" Casey said, surprised.

Suddenly, Nikita appears from behind Casey and stabs him in the stomach with her dagger. Casey falls onto the ground while clutching his stomach in pain.

"Casey!" April calls out.

While April ran towards her injured friend, Nikita reappears from the black smoke. She uses her new powers to create a sword made out of a black rock. She then takes her new sword and places it behind her back, the dark magic holding it in place. As soon as she's finished her business, Nikita makes a run for it.

"Oh no, you don't!" Casey said, as he ran towards Nikita despite his injury. "Casey! No!" April calls out.

Casey tries to stop Nikita from running away, but she pushes him out of the way. Casey slams against the wall and clutches his wound.

"Nikki! Wait!" April said, as Nikita ran past her.

As she starts to make her getaway, Nikita's expression turns from angry to sad as she realizes that she's just betrayed her once dear friend. April runs after Nikita, hoping to stop her before she gets away.

"Nikki!" April yells out.

Nikita suddenly stops in place as April starts to sing.

April: This has to stop now

Whatever it is that you're going through,

we'll fix it together-me and you

Just like we've always done

Nikita: No! This has to stop now

This thing where you think that you've been our friend

And don't even hear how you condescend

The way you've always done

April: Nikita, listen

Nikita: I'm listening

April: I know it isn't true

Nikita: Isn't it?

April: Just look into my eyes now

Nikita: Well?

April: I know you feel it too

Nikita: Perhaps I do

April: Nikita, listen

Nikita: I'm listening

April: I swear it's not too late

So before another line gets crossed

And everything we've had is lost

Just stop...

Nikita: Stop? No, I will not.

Nikita creates more black rocks to separate herself from April.

"Nikki!" April cries out, but it's no use.

Nikita continues her getaway as April looks on, clearly upset. Nikita soon closes in on the exit.

Nikita: There's a line between the winners and the losers

There's a line between the chosen and the rest

And I've done the best I could

But I've always known just where we stood

Me here with the luckless

You there with the blessed

April tries to squeeze through the black rocks, hoping to catch up to Nikita as she continues her escape.

Nikita: And that line between the beggars and the choosers,

is a line you never let me quite ignore

How I've tried to jump that great divide!

But I've never got the chances you were given

You don't know how much we've been denied

Well, I'm not gonna take it anymore

April jumps over more black rocks as Nikita gets closer to making her getaway. Nikita opens the door to make her escape from the collapsed building.

Nikita: I'm crossing the line!

And I'm done holding back

So look out, clear the track, it's my turn!

I'm taking what's mine

Every drop, every smidge

If I'm burning a bridge, let it burn

But I'm crossing the line…

Nikita creates a bridge with her spikes to get over a huge crack on the ground that was made earlier by her. April jumps down from the ledge and runs towards her. Nikita pulls out her sword, ready to officially cut ties with April for good.

Nikita: And for us, if we're over, that's fine...

"Nikki, wait!" April cries out.

Nikita: I'm crossing the line

Nikita slices the bridge beneath her and April with her sword. April barely manages to escape the collapsing bridge on time. Now she could only look on in sadness as she was just betrayed by her former friend.
