As she was making her getaway from the destroyed ice rink, Nikita's face turned from angry to remorse. Even after everything that's happened between them, she still couldn't shake the image of April's horrified look in her mind. She gave in to her anger and sadness, she allowed the darkness in her heart to consume her, and she just turned against her former best friend, all for what? Nikita's mind raced as she ran towards an alleyway and flew on top of a building. As she was catching her breath, she spotted police, firefighter, and ambulance vehicles racing to the scene of her destruction. The news vehicle was following them to make a report on the disaster.

"Well, at least Casey will get some medical help." Nikita said.

Last time she saw Casey, he was on the ground clutching his stomach after she stabbed him with her dagger. She didn't know why she did that, but it could've been because she believed Casey was going to replace her and the Turtles as April's friends. Nikita felt rage boiling inside of her and she made the choice to stab him. She also remembered punching April in the face after refusing to listen to her plea to stop her rampage.

"I don't know what came over me." Nikita said. "Why did I attack April like that?"

She looked down at her hands and saw black smoke rising from them. She realized that it was made from her sadness and anger towards April. Now what was she going to do? April will never forgive her for attacking her and Casey. And what about the Ninja Turtles? What if they find out about this? Nikita paused in horror as she realized that she may have just made things worse between them. The Turtles would be very upset with her, especially Donatello, if they found out what she did. So Nikita decided that she wasn't going to stick around to find out.

"I've got to get out of here, fast!" She said, panicking.

She took to the skies and flew as far away as she could from April to the other side of the city. Once she was far enough, she landed on top of another building and took a break. She sat down on the edge of the building and stared into the horizon. Tears began to roll down on Nikita's cheeks as she thought about her actions.

She knew what she did was wrong, but she went through with it. She knew that if she confronted April and attacked her then she would make things worse between her and the Turtles. But she gave in to her anger and did it anyway. April tried to stop her and wanted to reason with her, but she refused to listen. Nikita was too saddened and angry to even think straight. She wouldn't listen to April pleading with her to not attack her and Casey.

"Well, it's not like I did anything wrong. I mean... in a way, she had it coming to her." She said to herself. "Yeah! April did have it coming to her!"

Nikita felt a lot better about her outburst. She knew that even though what she did was wrong, she didn't care. April deserved what she got and so did Casey. April shouldn't have left her and the Turtles like that! She deserved to get yelled at and Casey deserved to get stabbed. Evil Morty was right all along: she finally got her revenge on April and it felt good. He was right about her allowing the darkness to take control of her.

Nikita got up and made a portal back to her motel room on 2010s Island. She took one final look at New York City before stepping into the portal. When she got back to her room, her black armor disappeared and her regular clothes appeared. She was confused as to why her new clothes suddenly disappeared like that.

"What the…? What happened to my armor?" Nikita asked herself. "It went back to where it belongs." A familiar voice said.

Nikita turns around to see Evil Morty coming out of another portal. He seemed very pleased about her actions in the Ninja Turtles' world.

"I've been watching from a distance. I'm very pleased with what you did back there." He said. "So what did you mean when you said it went back to where it belongs?" Nikita asked. "The darkness in your heart can only be manifested so long as you're in the cartoon world." Evil Morty said. "It won't appear here in the archipelagos."

Now it all makes sense: while Nikita can still use magic on the archipelagos, she can't access her dark powers unless she's in the cartoon world. As soon as she went back to her motel room, her armor and her dark magic went back inside of her. They'll remain dormant in her heart until she returns to the cartoon world.

"I saw what you did to April and Casey, very well done indeed." Evil Morty said, clapping his hands. "It's true. April had what was coming to her and so did her new friend Casey." Nikita said. "They both got what they deserve."

Evil Morty could sense the bitter rage still seeping from inside Nikita. He sensed her anger fueling up inside of her and he liked it. He knew that she'd be very useful to him and his plans. But he also sensed a great feeling of sadness and regret in Nikita too. He knew that she was feeling very remorseful towards her actions against April. Evil Morty needed her to remain angry at her former friend so he could continue taking advantage of the darkness in her heart.

"I sense that you're feeling a bit guilty for your crime." He said. "Just a little. I mean... April and I were really close friends before that whole mutagen incident a few weeks back." Nikita said. "And I take it that you're also worried that the Ninja Turtles and their sensei will find out what you did?" Evil Morty asked.

Nikita knew that he was right, she did still feel a little remorse over attacking April, especially since they used to be very close friends. She also knew that the Turtles, especially Donatello, would be very upset and angry at her for trying to kill April and Casey. Splinter would most likely be the most angry towards Nikita for using her powers for evil purposes.

But Nikita had no other choice: she wanted to make April pay for hurting them emotionally with her words. She wanted to make April pay for hurting her and Donatello. She wanted April to suffer in the same way they suffered for weeks. But what would Donatello think if he found out Nikita tried to kill his crush? What would his brothers think? What would Splinter think?

"They're going to be really mad at me, especially Donnie." Nikita said. "True. But you wanted to get revenge on April, so you got it." Evil Morty said. "Yes. Yes I did." Nikita said. "And you know what? It felt good, very good."

Evil Morty smiled at that comment.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, April was in the waiting room. She sat down on the chair while doctors were working on Casey in the operating room. As she waited, she thought back to that horrible night. She still couldn't believe that Nikita would betray her like that. But to be fair, April did yell at her and Donatello, so she felt as if she deserved it. The doctor came out of the room and motioned for April to come inside. Once inside the hospital room, she saw Casey laying on the bed with bandages wrapped around his waist.

"I'll leave you two alone now." The doctor said as he left the room.

Once he was gone, April and Casey were in the room alone together.

"How are you feeling?" April asked. "A little better. Still hurts, though." Casey said. "That's a relief." April said. "So what was the big deal with your friend? Why did she attack us?" Casey asked. "Because I did something I wish I hadn't done." April said somberly.

Casey placed his hand on April's to comfort her. She smiled back at him in response.
