Harry woke up because of the sun shining into his room. He had been having an odd sort of dream that had put him in an odd mood. He tried to erase the dream from his mind but instead was forced to see Ron's face staring back at him. The dream hadn't been friendship, it had been something else. Something….stronger. Harry thought about this for a moment. Could it have been envy? Was he jealous of Ron? Ron wasn't cooler than Harry. Harry stood up trying to get these thoughts out of his mind. He had never been the jealous type and he wasn't about to think bad thoughts about his best mate.

Suddenly a shoe came flying through his window. It had wings attached to it and there was a note inside it. Harry wondered for a moment if he was still asleep. Confused, he picked up the shoe from the floor. It instantly fell out of his hands and attempted to trip him. He jumped out of the way, wondering how to get the note from inside it. He decided to use chopsticks that he had stolen from his aunt's hair. He thought they were pretty. He picked up the shoe and quickly took out the note. He then threw the shoe out of the window.

As he watched it fall out of the window he watched it blow up into green smoke. As odd as he thought that was, he was used to odd things. He unfolded the note and began to read.

Dear Harry,

How's your summer going? We thought we would let you be the first tester of our amazing flying shoes. They will be sold in our store next month. Mum asked us to let you know that the Order will be picking you up tomorrow at noon. Looking forward to seeing you. Ron says hi.

-Fred and George Weasley

Harry wondered what the make of the shoe was. He thought about asking Fred and George but realized that may be giving too much away. And they were definitely too ugly for him to wear anyway.
