Phil sat in his room, depressed. His parents had tried everything, having a Coming Home party with all of his and Pim's friends, taking him to see the sights of the future, and more. Life just wasn't the same without Keely. He missed her bubbly personality, her beautiful smile when she greeted him every morning. Phil bolted up. He had an idea.
--------------------------------------------
A couple hours later, he had a five page letter to the president, stating that he should annul the 'Thanks to the Diffy's' Law. His hand trembled when he put it in the mailbox.
Two weeks later, he found an official looking letter in the mailbox. With shaking hands, he opened it and scanned the letter. He jumped for joy and ran inside.
"Mom I can visit Keely!" he said, and thrust the letter in her hands.
"Honey, that's great!" She said after quickly reading the letter. The law was no longer effective.
---------------------------------------------
The next day, the whole family set off in the time machine their dad had bought. Pim didn't want to come, but her mother said she couldn't be left at home alone.
What felt like hours later, they landed. Phil hopped out and dashed inside the house to look at the clock. Keely would be at school right now. Without as much as a goodbye, he dashed to the school.
There she was. At her locker, looking as depressed as he had been, if not more. He walked up and tapped on her shoulder.
"What?" She said irritably, rummaging for her books. He tapped again.
"What!" She said.
"If I new you were going to be this irritable, I would have never left." Phil said.
Her head shot up. She whirled around. It took a minute for it to soak in, but she finally cried "Phil!" And threw her arms around his neck. He hugged her tight. (A/N: Think triumphant music!)
"What are you doing here? I thought you'd left for good!" She said.
"Well, with my wonderful persuasive skills I got the president to annul the rule." He said.
"That's great!" Keely said, jumping up and down. Owen walked up.
"Hey Phil, good to see you. Keely's frown's turned upside down for the first time in weeks!"
Via was right behind him. "Where did you go anyway?"
"Uh…" He looked at Keely for help.
"He…changed schools." Keely said.
"There aren't any other schools in Pickford." Via said.
"He moved to a town a couple hours away." Keely said, running out of excuses.
"Oh."
--------------------------------------------
Phil came and visited Keely every weekend, and a couple years later, after she graduated, he asked her the question he'd been dying to ask the second he got the letter from the president.
"Keels…Would you…maybe want to come to the future with me? For good?" He asked.
"Phil Diffy, there is nothing I would love more." She said.
They told only her mother about Phil being from the future. She smiled and encouraged her to go.
She stepped into the time machine with him, and they headed for the future.

A/N: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's horrible, but I had the idea when watching Back to the Future last night. It was so horribly tragic that I had to write a happy ending. So review please, and be nice! Sorry if anyone else wrote something similar to this, I don't read very many PotF fics.
