Hey Guys thanks for reading. bellavida0213 Stefan is crazy, but not for the reason you think. Next chapter I'm going to share what Elena did to Bonnie.

Elena watched Bonnie pace the floor as she waited for someone to comeback. She sized her competition and reflected on how to best take her down. Bonnie was living the cushy life she'd always wanted to have with Stefan. All Elena's hopes and dreams were tarnished by someone she once called sister. Now the only thing that could bring her soul rest was to destroy everything Bonnie held dear. Starting with her unwavering since of confidence. Bonnie was just as insecure as Caroline, it just took more for her true colors to show.

"Break her spirit, break her trust, break her soul." Elena repeated in her head. "Could you at least do that in the hall. The clink of your cheap heels is giving me a migraine."

Bonnie smirked and turn to Elena. "I can think of worse."

"What could be worse than being forced to stay in this godforsaken room with you?" Elena asked.

Bonnie sent a searing pain through Elena's body. It started at her head and radiated down to her toes in a matter of seconds. Elena's cries would alert Giuseppe and Lilly to what was going on, so Bonnie stopped. "That help you come up with anything."

Elena panted, she was furious. Bonnie had the upper hand, at the moment, but it wouldn't take long for things to change. Elena mustard all the strength she could to laugh in her face. "That's the best you got? You were always a disappointment as a witch. Shelia tried so hard to train you, but you're nothing but a failure."

"I'm not doing this with you Elena. There's nothing you can do, or say to get to me. You are a pebble in my shoe. As soon as I get rid of you. I'll never think of you again. But, that's the difference between me and you. You'll never stop thinking of me. Or wondering if Stefan's thinking of me when he's with you," Bonnie smiled and left the room.

"You bitch," Elena growled as she made her exit.

"She sounds happy," Caroline said as she came to the cellar with Qetsiyah.

"Thank god you are here. I thought I'd kill her," Bonnie groaned.

"Damon and Stefan will be here soon, but we have a lot to do and little time," Qetsiyah informed her. Qetsiyah gave Bonnie a copy of the transference spell. "We are going to send Elena back and close the bond between this world and the next."

"I thought Abby didn't hear back from Lucy."

"Shelia is amplifying the communication spell. She and Abby are urging Lucy to do the spell parallel to us. That will make it possible"-

"To send Elena back at the same time. She thinks she belongs here. She has no recollection of that life."

"That's not our concern Bonnie. Once she's gone we put the council at rest and live our lives."

"It's everything we deserve Bon," Caroline added.

"So, you remember everything now?" Damon asked Stefan.

"Yes, I do," Stefan said as they walked to the boarding house.

Damon looked his brother over. "Are you still in love with Bonnie?" he said stopping Stefan in his tracks.

"Let's just focus on getting things back on track."

"I need to tell you something. I should have said a long time ago, and if I'm this me, my pride won't let me," Stefan studied his brother, he wasn't used to the sincerity in his voice. "I know you were the right choice for Bonnie. I knew that from the start of my feelings for her. And I think it every day. I'd never be able to do what you did for me. Thank you."

"Point is no matter what I feel. She loves and wants to spend her life with you. You're my brother and even though you think contrary. I know you'd do the same thing if you realized Bonnie loved me the way she loves you." Stefan smiled. "You're only half as dumb as you look."

"Jerk," Damon said.

"Dick," Stefan said.

Afterlife Mystic Falls two year ago New Year's day.

Doman lay in his room at the boarding house a bottle of bourbon clutched in his hand. He was an idiot to believe Bonnie Bennett would marry him. Damon heard a soft knock on his door. "Honey, come eat something please," his mother begged. "I know things didn't go great, but fretting won't fix it only you can do that."

"I just want to rest," He lied as he opened his bottle and nursed it.

"I'll bring you something later."

"Thank you."

Stefan didn't know what force brought him to the manor, but seeing Bonnie's car in the garage gave him a clue. Stefan rang the doorbell. He could see the relief wash over Bonnie's face once she saw him. "Hey," he said when she opened the door.

"Hey," she smiled moving to the side so he could walk in. "What are you doing here?"

"I was getting some of my things. I don't think Damon wants to talk to me."

"You kind of took a huge chunk of his pride last night," Stefan laughed. "And we all know Damon has enough ego for the world."

Bonnie sighed and collapsed on the sofa, which was still covered in plastic. "Why is he such an idiot?" She questioned.

"I've been asking that my entire life," Stefan whispered. Making Bonnie laugh with ease. Everything with Stefan seemed so simple. Bonnie honestly couldn't comprehend what propelled her to choose Damon. Why her heart seemed to belong to him from the very start. "But he does the dumbest things to please the people he loves most."

There it was. Stefan's unwavering kindness. He was so selfless and it was like they were kindred spirit. Bonnie caressed his cheek. "I'm so scared."

"If I thought he'd hurt you… initially. I'd never would endorse this relationship you two have. As your best friend, and I'm counting Caroline and Anna. I believe you two are what each other needs. And you already know this so why are we here?"

"It's not that easy."

"Because?"

"It's one thing to know something in your mind, but another to know it with your heart. My heart is scared. It has always been scared of Damon and my feelings for him. This is happening so fast. I'm pregnant and he wasn't to get married. We were going to live together. Looking at everyone's faces I just could see everyone warning me."

"So, it was stage fright. You know the only way to get over your fear is to conquer it."

"I'm not marrying Damon to conquer my fear of being with him," she laughed.

"Just be with him. Take it slow"-

"Damon take things slow?"

"He did knock-up..." Stefan laughed.

Bonnie lay her head on his shoulder. "Why are you so good to me?"

"Because you and Lexi are my best friends and as much as I enjoy my brother being miserable, I can't bear the thought of you being hurt." Stefan kissed the crown of her head. "You guys are meant for each other and the world will just have to accept that."

Three week later

Bonnie stood outside of Damon's bedroom. According to Stefan he wouldn't leave it for anything in the world. The only person he'd talk to was their mother. Bonnie was unsure what to say to Damon, but she hated that she was causing him so much pain. Bonnie knocked softly on his door. "Mom please not today."

Bonnie sighed. "Damon," was all she had to say.

She hard rustling for a good bit and things dropping, draws opening and closing, and then the door was unlocked. "Is everything okay?" Damon asked.

Bonnie looked him over. His face was already covered in a wealth of hair, and his head was a nest of tangled curls. He only wore a pair or dark sweat pants that hung low on his waist. "Stefan was worried about you and asked if I'd come talk to you."

Damon felt rage slowly build in his stomach and move into his chest. "I'm fine see you later," he said going to close the door.

Bonnie's hand slapped against it stopping him from slamming it in her face. Bonnie welcomed herself into his room. Damon looked everywhere but at the tiny woman circling his bed. "Is this how it's going to be?" Bonnie asked.

"What?" Damon asked caught off guard.

"Are you going to come running to your mom whenever things get rocky between us and shut everyone out? I don't like this version of you. I never did," Bonnie caressed his face. "I know the man I want to be with is somewhere swimming in bourbon, but if every time we fight this is who you turn into… I really don't want our kids to have to deal with this."

"Bonnie, I… I don't know what to say."

"Say you'll take a shower and come home."

Damon laughed.

"I'm serious you need a shower," Bonnie said holding her nose.

Damon hugged her. "I'm sorry. This won't happen again."

"Good. Let's go so we can talk."

Stefan sat across from Lexi. "I did the right thing, yet I feel like shit."

"You did do the right thing," Lexi smiled. "Damon and Bonnie love each other. And you deserve to have someone love you the way she loves him."

"I wish I couldn't feel anything. Feelings suck."

"Hey, I'm only here for a week. Let's end this pity party, and have some actual fun," Lexi said.

"Like?"

"Going to Whitmore for their homecoming and getting wasted."

"Maybe I could fit that into my scheduled," Stefan agreed.

The pair laughed and left their booth.

Damon held the door open for Bonnie and he saw that someone unpacked a lot of his things and decorated the living room. "Did you?"

"I got bored waiting for you to stop being stubborn and come home." Damon smirked. "Let's get you something to eat," Bonnie said walking into the kitchen.

She warmed them up some lasagna she got from Grams. Bonnie was the first to cut through the thick silence they fell in. "Damon I love you."

Damon smiled at her words. "I love you more than anything Bonnie."

"I know. I really do. I just have a lot of stuff. Things I have to work through before I can be your wife. I don't want us to move too fast. I want us to date and enjoy each other, really get to know each other."

"I know you were Stefan's best friend first, but I think of you as my best friend." Bonnie smiled at his words. "Whatever you need. I'll try to give it to you."

"I know, and I'm sorry I hurt you when I said no. It wasn't a no I don't want you. It was a no not now."

Damon reached in his pocket and pulled out the ringbox. "When you're ready. Let me know. You're the only one I'd ever give this to," he said giving her the ring. "It belonged to my grandma Sophia. She was a lot like Grams and I never believed she gave birth to Giuseppe." He and Bonnie laughed. "Her and my grandfather were arranged to be married. They despised each other their entire lives, but one day they manage to work passed that. He got sick and she took care of him. He never understood why she was so caring to him. And he did everything in his power to return that kindness. And long story short. They loved each other more than I've ever seen anyone love. And I want that for us. I want to be that for you." Damon wiped the tear from the corner of Bonnie's eye.

"You're more than that."

Mystic Falls

Liv didn't trust easily. She never trust at all. Her brother was dead because of the very people she was trying to save. There had to be a way she could close the veil. The only problem was. Lucy kept the spell on lock and key. The part Liv received was just to amplify whatever it was Lucy planned to do. She was having a hard time remembering the spell Caroline gave her, and there was no trace of it anywhere.

Liv decided it was time to confront Lucy and get her help with her plan. As she opened the door to her temporary room at the boarding house she saw Lucy standing there. "May I come in?" she asked.

"Sure," Liv said stepping to the side.

"I know it's early, but I want to do the spell tonight. There will be a full moon and I believe we should act as soon as possible. It's been too long since I've heard from Abby and I'm not liking that."

"I don't want to bring them back if I can't bring my brother back," Liv said putting her cards on the table.

"Have you told the others of your intensions?"

"I owe them nothing. They are the reason he's dead."

"I'll do my best to get you to him, but I'm not strong enough to make such a guarantee."

"Okay," Liv said. "I'll be ready by 6. The moon should be at its highest point by 7:15."

"Meet me at the point where they disappeared I'll have everything in place."

Afterlife Mystic Falls

"We have to convince Elena to go of her own free will?" Katherine questioned.

"It's the only way we can be rid of her for good," Qetsiyah informed her.

"Well I'm not wasting my blood on a lost cause," Katherine groaned.

"She's going to go," Damon said entering the hall with Stefan. "Wow she did a number on you Care," he said looking at her blood-stained shirt."

"Hardy-har-har," Caroline replied.

"Are you two sure you want to do this?" Bonnie asked them.

"There's no other option. We make her think she's won. She agrees to flee with Damon and we get rid of her," Stefan said.
