Stefan was the first to enter Elena's room. She watched him slowly enter oblivious to Damon's presence at first. Elena's heart was set ablaze at the mere sight of the man she loved. She could fathom how she could love a man so deeply, yet he'd be in love with another. Elena breath in his sweet cologne and remember all the moments they shared. There was no one on this earth that could erase what those memories meant. No one.

"Here," Stefan said holding a blood bag to Elena's mouth. "Drink."

"What's the point? You're going to kill me aren't you," She said allowing the tears to come to her. She wouldn't let the other's see, but Stefan, he responded to her emotional needs. They were tethered to each other in that way.

"No one's going to harm you Elena," Damon promised.

Elena snapped her head in his direction acknowledging his presence for the first time. "Is that why I'm tied up in a cellar with your girlfriend torturing me?"

"Bonnie wouldn't attack you for no reason," Stefan defended.

"Yeah I'm such a danger," Elena said attempting to raise her hand, and wincing at the pain.

"You stabbed Caroline," Stefan reminded her. "We just want to help you?"

"Help me how?"

"You're not yourself right now. You need to go back to Portland," Damon said.

"I could say the same for you DA-mon," she said with a wink. "Seems we all could use a little space to remind ourselves of what's-what."

"You don't intimidate me sweetheart."

"Intimidate-me," Elena frowned. "We both know we're playing on the same team. If I lose everything so, do you."

"Is that so."

"Care to share with your brother what happened that night we spelt together."

"I don't care about that Elena," Stefan said. "We were over before that and there's no reason to go back there."

"Is that so Damon?"

The look on Damon's face was one of confusion he couldn't recall a lot about that night since he'd yet to regain his full memorize. A sinking eerie feeling washed over him. He knew there was something he needed to know about that night. Something to what Elena meant.

Stefan noted the change in his brother and briefly wonder if Elena was getting to him. They needed to stay united to make this work. Elena couldn't get to them. "Damon and I are over the past. Whatever wrong's we've committed against the other were childish mistakes. He's my brother and I love him."

"Hand me a Kleenex that was so touching."

"Is that how you feel Damon," Elena smirked.

"Exactly."

Stefan eyed Damon and knew something defiantly wasn't right. "What will it take for us to return things to normal."

"You will never be able to deliver that," She said losing the playful edge to her voice.

"Try us," Damon proposed.

"I want you, all of you, but that won't happen will it Stefan. Apart of you will always love her. Won't it?" She yelled.

Stefan felt a rush of guilt as his brother eyed him and waited for him to respond. Stefan loved before Bonnie and he loved after her, but nothing ever compared to the way he loved her, and he found it increasingly hard to stop. Stefan swallowed. "If I promise you that will you stop this crusade against Bonnie?"

"The fact that you're asking that proves you can't," She yelled.

"Everything in your lives revolve around her and her needs."-

-"Come on Elena it's not like you haven't had your fill of the spotlight or should we invite Matt over to discuss that?" Damon yelled.

"You're pathetic Damon. How could you let your own brother take the girl you love away from you?"

Damon's jaw ticked. "If Bonnie had picked him, I'd respect that."

Elena's laughter quickly filled the room. "History says that's a lie."

Damon's hand balled into fist as he struggled to control his anger. "Just tell us so we can all be put out of this misery. If that's what you want, we can find a spell to make it happen."

Elena's interest was picked. "I want something from you first," she looked up and met Damon's eyes. "And I'm not agreeing to anything else until I get it."

Damon and Stefan simultaneously glanced at each other. Stefan nodded for Damon to give Elena his approval. "Okay and once I do this thing you and Stefan will leave."

"If you do it, yes."

"What is it that you want?"

"I want you to get your full memories back and I want to spend 24 hours with you alone at the Lake house."

Damon laughed to himself knowing there was no way Bonnie would ever let that happen. But before he could object Stefan interrupted. "He'll keep his end if you will bond yourself to up hold yours."

"Oh, you two are laying it on thick with the magic," she laughed. "fine."

Abby and Qetsiyah set up the cemetery to complete their portion of the spell. It required the careful placement of 74 blue and 74 white candles they were meant to lite the path for Lucy and Liv. "Are you prepared to kill the girl if Bonnie can't send her back in time?" Qetsiyah asked.

"I will do what I have to in order to protect Bonnie and Sarah. Our heritage still lives on through them, it can't die."

"I don't know why it is, but I don't think we'll ever be rid of her. Something in me feels her bloodshed won't rid us of her."

"You may be right. We don't know much about death in this world or how closing the free transfer between the worlds will affect that. But I chose to believe there's happiness in this world for us. And if there's not we can create it," Abby said as she smiled at Qetsiyah.

Mystic Falls

Liv walked through the boarding house carrying the last of what Lucy requested. She and Liv were acting of their own accord and had sent the other out on a wild goose chase to the Parker's residence in Washington. Liv gathered extra candles and lighters on the off chance that they'd need them. She threw everything into her duffel bag and left the boarding house.

Afterlife Mystic Falls

Bonnie set on the edge of Damon's bed as he paced back and forth. "We need to get her out of here before it's too late Bonnie. I don't want her to ruin our chance at happiness."

"We'll just have to use my mom's plan."

"It's odd hearing you call Abby mom."

"She wasn't the best mom, but I love her. And I love you. I know there's nothing that could ever change that. She wants Stefan and the only way to save him is if you do this. We'll find another way to send her back in the meantime."

Damon groaned. He didn't like the possibility of not getting rid of Elena. "She isn't going to get Stefan in the way she wanted and that spelled trouble for us all, if we can't get rid of her."

"It's won't get to that point. We'll do the teleport spell instead of the bonding spell," Stefan said coming into the room."

"Was that your plan all alone?" Damon smirked.

"Yep, we just need Bonnie to do the transport spell with Shelia when the moon is in position."

"Elena's a lot of things, but stupid isn't one. She knows I don't need grams to do a bonding spell. And we have to do it at the point she crossed which is not the Lake House."

"Then we'll help Abby with her plan and go in when we can," Stefan said looking at the couple for their agreement.

Damon looked at Bonnie and felt her unease. He picked up her chin. "Nothing will ever make me stop loving you."

"What if she hurts you? What if that's her plan?"

"Then know I died loving you more then anything on this Earth," he said kissing her gentle.

A wave of guilt moved through Stefan's stomach as he watched them together. He thought that if Damon were to die there'd be nothing keeping him and Bonnie apart. Stefan shook off the intrusive thought and reminded himself of the love he had for his brother. If Damon were to die he'd surely lose a part of himself.

"We need to get things rolling," Stefan said revealing the syringe. "Would you like to do the honors?"

Mystic Falls

Lucy placed the candles as directed by Abby she hoped to be able to complete the spell and return order to the world even though she wouldn't be living in it any longer. She placed the appropriate symbols around her salt circle and chanted a cleansing spell. She felt the air shift and hum with magic. This eased her nerves.

"It seems like this is going to work," Liv commented as she noted the shift in the air.

"It better if we don't want to do this again," she smiled.

"Do you really think I'll find my brother?"

"I'll make sure you two are reunited if it's the last thing I do," Lucy smiled.

Afterlife Mystic Falls

"I believe they're in position I can sense the increase in power. We should be able to start soon," Qetsiyah said as she watched Abby furiously type in her phone. "What is it."

"Bonnie isn't doing the spell."

"I don't think I heard that right."

"She said she wants to continue with plan B," Abby said eyeing Qetsiyah. "What do we do if we can't kill her?"

"There's a way around everything we'll just have to find it. Let's focus on keeping others from disturbing this world and tend to that later."

Damon woke with a sharp pain in his head. Bonnie was looking down at him with worry in her eyes. "What's going on?" he questioned as he sat up. "Why are we at my parent's?"

"What's the last thing you remember?" Bonnie asked.

"I can show you better then I can tell you," he said pulling her near.

"Not happening. You really need to remember," Bonnie ordered.

Damon knew she meant business and the look on her face confirmed his thoughts. "What's happening?"

"I'll show you," Bonnie said. She touched the side of his face and poured all the memories of what had transpired over the last few months.

Damon's eyes studied hers. "I'm not doing that. We're going to send that bitch back where she belongs. She nearly killed you and Sarah. There's nothing more to it!" he yelled.

"It's not that simple," Bonnie said.

"You're from one of the most powerful line of witches in the universe, make it that simple Bonnie," Damon stressed.

"I don't want this either. I know you hate rules but there are rules and they need to be followed she needs to consent and be where she left. That won't happen until you do this. Please do this for us Damon," Bonnie begged.

"Bonnie, I lost my brother and I almost loss you and Sarah. I refuse to give that bitch a chance to ruin our lives anymore. She is pure evil, and I refuse to believe a few hours with some shrink changed anything about her."

Bonnie wiped away a tear. She tried to think past her hate of Elena and what had caused she and Stefan to leave Mystic Falls. She need to be reasonable to make things happen. She needed to be able to convince Damon this was the right thing to do even if she didn't believe it herself. "Baby, I love you more than anything on this Earth and I know there's nothing anyone can do to change that. She can't break us. That's the one thing I know for sure," Bonnie gently kissed him. "Please help me fix this."

Damon's jaw tightened as he weighed his options. There was always another way, but he couldn't find it. Damon pulled Bonnie in to his arms and kissed the crown of her head. "Only for you little bird."

Elena waited at the Lake House for Damon to arrive she knew there wasn't much more she could do to insure she would get everything she was promised, but she knew how she'd insure Damon would be under her control. She opened a bottle of tequila and pour the clear liquid in to one of the tumblers before her. She threw back her head savoring the sting.

Damon knocked on the door out of curtesy. When she opened and saw him alone at the time promised she was over joyed. At least they are playing by the rules. "Welcome," she smiled as she moved aside to let him in.

"Let's not with the pleasantries. What the hell do you want so I can move on with my life?" he asked unmoved as he studied the liquor cart.

"I want to renew our previous alliance."

"I don't know what you're talking about," Damon said as he sniffed the scotch.

"There's no one here but you and I so drop the act. You know damn well what I'm talking about Damon. And if I can recall you have a lot to lose if certain somebodies find out about our previous arrangement."

Damon went at her using his vampire speed and pinned her to the wall. "You broke our arrangement when you lied a hand on Bonnie and my daughter."

"You wouldn't have either without me so boo-fucking-who."

"I don't want to do this with you Elena. You're getting a Bonnie free Stefan why do you need me?"

"Let's take a trip down memory lane," Elena said leading Damon to the sofa.

She pulled out three journals. Damon recognized Bonnie and Stefan's journals. "You were supposed to burn them."

"I needed proof if you double crossed me."

"And you were the one to double cross me."

"Let's not focus on that shall we read about what really happened between Bonnie and Stefan?"
