Author: For those who may become confused reading this chapter reference to the events of chapter. 8. For this fic I created a name for Madara's mother since the mangaanime never revealed her character. I named her Mayu. She is only mentioned briefly though. Now I will proclaim we have a new 'hair couple' Madara and Sei have magnificent hair. When it comes to luscious hair and awkward pet names they are shippable.

Already mentioned OCs:

Kūjōshi Ōtsutsuki, The Onikage: The mysterious and self-proclaimed messiah God of destruction whom lives in the shadow dimension. Sei's son in another life and her former master in this one.

Suijin - Water god of seas, rebirth and storms. A character combination of Suijin, Raijin and Ryūjin. Call him either name.

Uchiha Miyuki: Hoshimi's younger sister. Another priestess at the ancestral Uchiha temple. For a few years the sisters had a rivalry between them because of their ambitions in becoming the wife of the clan head. After both sisters learnt they had no chance of becoming Madara's wife they made up and the rest is history. Unlike her elder sister the nervous Miyuki has never been married.

Sayuri: A kitsune with four tails. She was banished from her den for insulting the den mother. (The kitsune Society is very matriarchal.) With no place to go she decided to be the servant of the gifted but inflexible onmyōji Shima.

Aunt Ayanō: Sei's kind aunt and Mika's mother. She is the diplomat representative for their clan at the capital.

Early morning the next day Sei woke up before Madara did. She examined his hair to see how well her hair washing concoction had worked. Stringing her fingers through his hair she rejoiced. Madara's hair was soft and lustrous. In her eyes his most attractive features were his hair and well honed musculature. Before that memorable night she had not thought he possessed such a majestic athletic body.

She slid her cold hand underneath the blanket reaching to touch his abdominals. She felt Madara's hand clutch her wrist. He guided her hand to his nether region. She wondered if he was awake or was doing this asleep. These actions caused Seihana to blush and her heart to race. She thought of something mischievous.

Fondling him, She whispered in his ear, "You are mine."

Madara opened his eyes, "To hold a man while he is sleeping... You play dirty."

She snickered taking her hand away, "Don't think I will make it soo easy."

"No fun."

She thought to herself, 'What do I even know about my husband? What is his favorite food and his hobbies? Would he even tell me? I have to know!'

Madara spoke, "Why are you staring at me? With a terrified expression?"

She insisted, "Madara, I must know what is your favorite dish, your family and your hobby? I want to know more about you."

Madara spoke briefly, "Yes, I do know more about you than you know about me... My parents names were Tajima and Mayu. Both were excellent shinobi. Izuna and I had other siblings however they died in battle. My favorite dish is inarizushi and my past time hobby is falconry... My falcon Kira reminds me of you; sweet and spicy."

"As for myself..."

Madara listed everything he knew about her, "Your birthday is June 26, You are a drama queen, self-conscious and is not afraid to take charge in life or bedroom, You like to read romantic nonfiction and erotica, Your best friend is Tora, the number of your siblings is about five, you love cats, Your taste in food is unusual. Chuka soba is your favorite ramen, You like to put wasabi sauce on your steak, You love to dip chicken tempura in soy sauce, you hate sea food, red is your favorite color, you love animals and children, you are quite skilled in the techniques of your clan and an art I cannot define, you have quite the sewing hand, you use alchemy to make beauty products however I think your skills could be used for something more beneficial."

Sei dressed herself in a white robe, "You do know a lot about me."

Madara did the same, "I watched your habits to learn about you."

Sei gave him the mirror, "The concoction I washed your hair with worked well."

Madara complimented her, "Yes, Smells like sakura flowers too."

"Those flowers are my favorite."

He kissed her cheek, "I will keep that in mind... I must leave you soon to attend my obligations."

'I wish he would stay home with me... We just got married... Seihana you are too needy.' Sei said opposite of what she was thinking, "Fine, I have many things to do myself. I will have something special for you later."

After Madara had dressed and groomed he left. Sei decided to look through his drawers and chests. She searched for things like a journal or some other material that may reveal his true thoughts. Such an item was found underneath neatly folded clothing. She cringed reading it. Sei had uncovered a plot to draw out Kūjōshi. She thought, 'He knew the whole time... I thought I had seduced Madara the night we made love... It was actually the other way around; He enamored me... Come to think about it Tobira never went for penetration... He is quite particular when it comes to matters of passion... This plan of theirs to defeat Kūjōshi is much different than the one I came up with... Kūrō, I hate when he keeps secrets from me... I should not have underestimated the Senju and Uchiha... My lovers were working together this whole time and behind my back... It's probably best if I don't say anything about this.'

Quickly Sei placed the book back in it's original place. Mika opened the door addressing herself. "I'm here, Seihana."

"What am I doing? Looking through my husband's things and washing his hair?"

Mika laughed, "You have many things to learn."

"He trusts me enough to leave an outsider like me alone in his room... I am not a good wife."

"Good wife? There can never be such a thing."

"True..." She began to talk to herself, "Madara is too good for me."

"Sei you are not an outsider. You are the wife of the Uchiha clan head. I'm more the outsider." Mika closed the door.

"I don't like you waiting on me... I want to find you something better to do like your own family."

Mika quelled her worries, "We are family. I don't mind helping my sister for the duration of her pregnancy. Besides, At twenty years old I can wait a little longer for my man."

"My selfless sister, Thank you soo much..." Sei raged again, "Ugh, What wife? Washes her husband's hair! With flower smelling soap."

"I don't think he minded. It's quite common for families and couples to bathe together. But in our family it was quite different."

Sei brushed her black hair with a comb, "You being the voice of reason, Sis."

"My mother is coming to visit you again at noon."

"I wish Ayanō would stay longer than three weeks... I wonder why she never married father?"

"I'm not sure why. Though she told me all different stories. Father's bloodline is quite valuable. The former time of warfare required the strong of blood in order for clans to survive. My mother is our clan's representative in the capital and at the time she did not think it appropriate to wed her sister's widower."

"Makes sense... I will try to convince her to bring me to the capital with her."

Mika revealed, "I was walking around this part of town. I learnt something interesting. Some of the Uchiha women think you will be a bad political influence on Lord Madara."

Sei tied her hair up, "I'm not here because I'm a spy who wishes to distort a man's thinking. I am here because he asked me to be his wife. I only want to live in peace."

"I knew you would say that."

She replied coldly, "They should be happy their esteemed leader is on way to becoming hokage. If those simps have any problems with me they can speak to me directly... I will show them why he chose me to be his wife."

That moment both Hoshimi and Miyuki approached the bedroom door. Seihana's vicious claim stopped both of the women in their tracks. Hoshimi grabbed her sister's wrist before she could go further.

She spoke in Miyuki's ear, "Wait sister, That was Madara's wife."

Miyuki held her bag of groceries tighter to her chest, "That pregnant bitch."

"You mustn't say that, sister. If Madara heard you say that he would punish you for sullying his wife's name."

"My jealousy gets the better of me. That woman is not a timid wife but is false hearted witch. There are many better brides than her."

"Madara chose her knowing her faults. He wasn't looking for wife perfect. Come to the kitchen with me."

Miyuki followed closely behind, "I'm thankful we will not be attending her during childbirth. She's liable to destroy the house around us."

"Concerning what happened to Aikiku I don't think Madara would trust us with his wife's childbed."

Miyuki freaked out, "It's not our fault that Aikiku's small body bled out. By the gods what if the men accuse us of causing her death!"

Hoshimi wiped her tears away, "It's been a whole month since she died. They haven't accused us of anything. For the sake of our family it's best not to speak of it."

Miyuki recounted lighting the firepit, "We are priestesses of the ancestral Uchiha temple... Everything we have done so far was for the lives and advancement of our leaders."

Hoshimi thought of her son, "Nothing is more important to me than my boy."

"Yes, Let's get this done and return home. Hopefully his wife doesn't walk in here."

"Hello, Sisters. I would like to test out my cooking skills... Do you know where Madara keeps his special cook book?"

The entrance of Seihana startled Miyuki. Her nervous shaking hands nearly dropped the oil canister. She caught it before the canister hit stone fire pit.

Seihana bristled, "Are you trying to light the house on fire?"

Unbeknownst to Seihana there were many historical records of Uchihas burning their houses down due to badly aimed fire jutsu. The younger Uchiha sister begged for mercy, "I'm soo sorry! My lady!"

Hoshimi reaching for a pot and ladle, "He has hidden it somewhere in this house."

"Oh, Thank you." Sei excused herself with a bow.

"She's going to find it... That's funny."

"She has the byakugan, Sister." Hoshimi reminded her sister.

"That's right... Madara isn't going to be happy she found his cuisine secrets."

Hoshimi handed a pot of water to her sister, "True, Quit fooling around and put this pot of water on the fire."

For two long weeks Tobirama spoke to Suijin. He neglected his promise to Sayuri to study with the dragon god. Such did not bother the uptight kitsune whom prided her quiet patience. When they were not studying the two spoke about everything from the mysterious cults to the legendary menace: the onikage. Tobirama found it unsettling the fact the benevolent Suijin knew almost everything about him. Even his secrets.

"From analyzing her behavior I learnt that Sei had a direct mind link to the onikage. We could not tell her anything of what we were planning. To misdirect Sei also meant we would misdirect the onikage. To distract him from the activities of my allies I placed myself in as an opponent of the onikage's goals. The evening where he assaulted me in my dreams proved he fell for my tricks." Tobirama explained to the god Suijin. He sat on a large rock on the sea shore. The dragon took on a miniature form to speak to him.

"Yes, The onikage's name is Kūjōshi, He was born with very powerful dōjutsu. Beyond any power dōjutsu users today possess..."

"Yes, How did you know that?"

"I was with his mother when she gave birth to him. His mother loved him at first but as time progressed she began to hate him. In her eyes the child she labored ruined her life. Her family banished her so she had to go into hiding. After that point I'm unsure what happened to them. Knowing that he is still existing without a soul brings many questions to mind."

Tobirama nodded, "Like how did he loose his soul?"

"I was about to say that..." Tobirama fascinated Suijin soo much. This mortal was a reflection of himself. A flawed one but exemplary. "I see myself in the form of a mortal. You are like a reflection of myself."

Tobirama replied respectfully, "To stand in your presence... Words can't express."

Their spoken words lauded each other, "I have been searching for you for a long time. I wish to assist in the conflicts you currently face."

He bowed to Suijin, "Thank you. However I think it best if you kept a low profile... No one from my home country had ever seen a dragon."

"I will offer you a way back home... On my back."

"There may be others whom wish to come..."

"We will come along as well." The figures of Kazui, Shima and Sayuri appeared.

"You sure? Shima?"

Shima exposed, "For research purposes I'm coming."

Sayuri took the form of a small auburn fox. She teleported onto Shima's shoulder, "You are still in debt to me, Tobirama."

"My friends changed their minds they will stay here at the temple. I will go with you, father." Kazui declared putting a straw hat on his head, his way of signaling time to go, "I wish to see the two great leaders."

"Very well."

Over lunch Sei sat with Mika and her aunt Ayanō. They sat on the bank of the training area near the Hyūga compound. She listened to her aunt speak, "Your father picked a nice place for our family compound. Very scenic."

Sei agreed, "Yes, My long lived father is the most senior member of Konoha our leaders allowed him first claim."

Mika offered her opinion, "It was a show of respect, I believe."

"True..."

Sei peered up to see a scaled flying creature far off into the distance. The creature appeared to be coming in the way of the village. She activated her byakugan to inspect the creature closer to see three humanoids and a fox on a shoulder.

"It's a dragon... Tobirama? He came back riding on a dragon..." She giggled, "What a show off."

"The dragon? From myth... It's seems to be of no danger..." Mika took Sei's hand, "Let's see where they will land."

The sisters met the dragon at the entrance of the village. After Tobirama dismounted he was met with the lunging embrace of Sei.

She kissed his cheek, "Tobirama! I'm soo happy you are back."

He replied, "Thank you."

Kazui criticized Seihana holding nothing back, "This is Seihana... She is quite a bovine."

She gave him a grim stare, "Did you just call me a cow?"

"You might want to watch what you say, little boy." A deep menacing voice made chills creep down Kazui's back. He turned to see two men. A smiling man and the dark one who warned him.

Hashirama spoke, "I am Hashirama Senju... Your awesome uncle... This guy here is Madara Uchiha; Our leader."

Kazui jumped for joy, "The two great leaders! One is my uncle!" he begged for forgiveness, "Sorry for calling your child's mother a cow, Lord Madara."

"I'm sure she wasn't offended." Madara took Sei's hand.

She concured, "No, I'm not offended soo easily."

Madara kissed the back of her hand, "My love, I suggest we show our new friends around."

"That sounds enjoyable."

"For formal introductions, I am Seihana and this is my sister Mika. We are the daughters of the Hyūga clan head." Sei held her younger sister out to display.

Shima offered the same respect, "This dragon here is the revered Suijin, the fox on my shoulder is Sayuri, and I am Shima, A master of the yin and yang."

"He dresses odd. Doesn't he? Sis?" Sei whispered to Mika. She leered at Shima's old fashioned style.

Mika extolled, "You are one to talk... I think his style is classy."

Shima hid his fazed face with his long sleeve, "One better dress to fit their polished skills."

Sei felt small arms hug her around the stomach, Kazui cried, "You say you are not offended... I know you are being kind to me because I'm a child."

She patted him on the cheek, "Don't beat yourself up over something soo petty... I've done that countless times myself... Its pointless guilt... Besides cows are good plentiful creatures."

Kazui found her hand to be warm, "That's true... Come to think about it... You are more like a whale."

"Now you are doing this to get me angry..." With her free hand Sei took his hand, "Come along, I think you will like it here... Besides, Whales too are good nurturing creatures."

Tobirama found Seihana's new behavior alarming. Beyond her welcoming him back she had began to ignore him completely. Such brought on a smile on his face. Being back home brought him relief however something felt amiss.

He asked Hashirama, "Where is Aikiku?"

Such a question flattened the sunny mood. Hashirama answered, "She died in childbirth."

"The baby?"

"He's fine."

Tobirama hid his sadness behind a stern face, "Where is she buried?"

"In the Senju cemetery with the rest of our family."

"I will be back later." Tobirama disappeared there after.

Hashirama sighed, "He's going there to cry alone."

Sei snorted, "Typical Tobirama... Let's continue."

Kazui asked his elders, "He needs time to mourn... Where will I be living?"

Hashirama informed him, "You will stay with Tobirama... I will show you the residence."

Madara offered him another option, "Unless, If you wish to live in the house your mother occupied for a time in the Uzumaki district."

"I will consider your offer but I think at the time my father needs someone to watch over him."

Sei offered her opinion, "You are his son... He should be watching over you."

Kazui insisted strongly, "We all are family. We have to look out for each other."

Madara complimented Kazui, "For a seven year old... You are quite smart... Use that intelligence to your advantage."

Kazui raised his fist to the sun. He exclaimed, "Yes, One day I will defeat my father... And you; Madara Uchiha."

Madara welcomed the challenge, "You have a long way to go."

Kazui pulled away his hand from Sei. He excused himself, "I must go to my father... I will see you all later."

"You don't know where he went."

"I shall go with him." Suijin morphed into a miniature serpentine dragon. He perched on Kazui's shoulders.

Sei warned him, "Don't be late for dinner!"

"Okay!"

"You are making dinner for everyone?"

"Yes, Madara. I want to test out the results of my cooking practice."

"ψ()ψ

With the help of Suijin, Kazui tracked down Tobirama. He found him in an open field displaying several graves. He kneeled at a recent grave. Kazui hugged Tobirama tight, burying his face into his back.

Kazui pressed, "Father, Don't cry!"

"I'm not crying. My sister would disapprove."

"If you need to."

Tobirama refused, "I'm fine... I will return to the village soon."

"Sei is making dinner for us... Do you think my mother will come back for me?"

"I'm not sure if she will ever come to see you again, nevertheless, Your home is here with your family."

"Thank you, Father."

"You don't need to call me father."

"You saved me from a fate worse than death... You are my father... Life wasn't better before anyway..."

"What do you mean by that?"

Kazui revealed, "As a family of spies, We were always on the road and there were a few times where I almost got killed."

Tobirama sighed, "Mai..."

Kazui's red eyes twinkled, "If it wasn't for those times I wouldn't have gotten stronger or smarter! More aware of my surroundings!"

Tobirama tempted to keep his childhood memories in the back of his mind. He suggested, "Let's return home."

Later that evening with the help of Mika and the Uchiha sisters, Sei laid out the platters and plates of food. A familiar savory smell assaulted Madara's senses. He turned to Izuna whom held a sleeping Tsukimura.

"Doesn't that smell like mother's cooking?"

Izuna chuckled, "Maybe she found mother's recipe book."

Madara whispered begrudgingly, "She found the recipe book... By the gods... What did she not find?"

Izuna defended Sei, "Don't get angry at her, Madara. You have a wife that can see through walls... There is nothing you can hide from her."

"That is what I fear... But you are right... At least she can't read my mind."

Izuna exerted a chuckle, "You have that right."

"Uncle Madara and Izuna Sensei! The baby is soo cute!", Kagami sat next to Izuna.

"Yes, He is."

"Can I hold him?"

Izuna turned Kagami down, "No, I don't think you possess the strength to hold him."

"Here, Madara. I made a special drink." Sei held out a ceramic cup for him to take.

Madara took the filled cup. Instead of drinking the fluid, he gave it to Kagami. He said, "This smells too sweet, You may drink it."

Before Kagami took a sip Sei swiped the beverage from his small hands. She chastised Madara, "Madara! You can't give an alcoholic drink to a child!"

Kagami warned, "My mom said I can't drink alcohol."

"Fine, I'll drink it... Hopefully it's not poisoned."

"Why would I poison you?"

"No, You would not. You have to show me where you make this sometime." Madara took the cup proceeding to drink it. "You put a fruit in this? Did you?"

Seihana chortled fiendishly, "Yes, An aphrodisiac."

"Uncle Madara... What is an aphrodisiac?"

He refused to tell him, "Go sit next to the pink haired kid and the Senju brothers."

Kagami agreed, "The one with Tobirama Sensei... Okay."

"Come sit, My love." Madara urged Seihana to sit on his lap.

Seihana sat down next to him, She said, "Later... At the moment, I'm hungry."

Madara whispered in her ear, "Uchiha men have no need for such tonics."

She whispered back, "So says the man who has to activate the most unsettling part of his body in order to get in the mood."

"You like it rough yet I terrify you. Very complicated."

"At least you stayed to par with your favored single hit technique."

Madara hid his scarlett face in her comfy chest, "My wife... The flirt."

Staying firm in her wishes Sei explained further, "Ah, I'm just getting started... After our daughter is born and your job gets more intense we won't have time for us... Besides that we also should do other things."

"Yes, I will introduce you to the other woman in my life..."

Sei muttered, "The other woman?"

"My falcon."

On the other side of the table Suijin felt a familiar chakra. Upon closer inspection the chakra originated from the baby in Izuna's arms.

He hissed quietly, "The sage of six paths..."

Kazui heard him, "Who's that?"

Suijin insisted, "It's in the Fire myths, My child... You must have heard of the sage."

Kagami implied, "You did not like the sage?"

"No, I did not. He wasn't much of a father, a controller and a bit of a self-rightous bast-... man. I fought him once."

"Who won?"

"Neither of us... However I'm sure I had the upper hand."

Kazui sighed, "Yet you found it appropriate to attack my father."

"When I saw him something in me triggered... Forgive me... I wasn't aiming to use my full power."

"You are nature, Suijin. The sage rubbed you the wrong way?"

Suijin hated being disrespected however rude children were not worthy of his anger. He criticized, "Yes, The sage did many beneficial deeds for this earth and us the divine gods... However these choices escalated in the worst way when he resorted to favoritism with his own children. Such started an endless conflict between the children. A feud coloring my waters red with the blood of the sage's own descendants."

"Do you have your own family and home? Suijin?"

"I have a palace... However only those who can breath underwater can get to it. My only family was my daughter Aoi whom married a human long ago... The Ujitennō clan are her descendants."

Kagami inquired, "Can you shape shift into other forms?"

"Yes."

"Can you show me your human form?"

Suijin delighted his innocent curiosity. He nodded shifting into a handsome human man emulating an unnatural elegance. "I prefer dragon form."

"You don't exactly look like my father. Maybe his father."

Hashirama corrected Kazui's assumption, "No, Tobirama got his good looks from our mother."

Seihana whispered to Mika whom sat on her left, "For an old man he is the handsomest man in the room... How he has clothing on when he shift is odd."

Shima took a stance, "My lord is not handsome... He is a mighty god of great wisdom and benevolence... He cannot be defined by mere looks."

She batted her eyes at him, "You are stunning too, Shima."

Shima thought to himself, 'This vulgar pregnant woman...'

Mika taunted Shima, "Sis, You are embarrassing him!"

"It's sad that he is too high strung to receive compliments from a woman. Wouldn't you flirt with him? Mika?"

Shima cut off Mika's response, "My lady, You are a married woman! Your husband..."

Mika warned her elder sister, "Sister, Quit sexually harassing Shima. It's shameful to treat a visitor in such a way."

"Mai taught me this trick... I'm getting to know Shima. He's a rather sweet and faithful man."

Shima blushed brightly, "Oh."

"I knew you could take a compliment."

"However the only man you should look at is me." Madara boldly stated raising a brow.

She gave him lewd eyes leering down, "Your handsome face is terrifying to look at..."

Kazui suggested to Kagami, "Adults are idiots... Let's go play."

"Okay." He followed closely behind.

Hashirama commented after Kazui left, "Adults are idiots... Sounds alot like you Madara."

"You would say the same thing... The fact is the adults we knew were idiots."

Seihana giggled playing with Madara's hair, "Madara and Hashirama the little rebels."

Hashirama raised his cup, "Yes, Let's have a drink to Madara for his promotion."

"Promotion?" Tobirama repeated.

"To the highest seat."

Tobirama kept himself together, "You gave him the seat of hokage... Are you insane? Brother? You would be the better leader."

Hashirama sighed explaining his point of view, "No, The last war nearly destroyed our clan... The Senju must rebuild and the Uchiha must take leadership. We may have a time of peace now however in probable future with wars on a national scale Madara would be the best choice for a leader."

Madara crossed his arms saying, "Well said. I will not disappoint."

Seihana praised Hashirama and Madara, "You both are amazing."
