August 26...

Madara stood outside his wife's bedroom waiting patiently. For hours she had been in labor. He had a difficult time getting through the day thinking about her, the baby and the demon Namanari hiding inside her. He had expected Seihana to be screaming her head off instead she did not. She must have a high pain threshold. He smiled at such a feat.

Though yet again, Her childbirth silence could mean something else.

He opened the door to see three nurses. All were from his wife's clan. The first was the midwife, her apprentice and the last her younger sister Mika. On his wife's right sat Yoshiyuki using his byakugan.

He took a closer visual inspection of Seihana who sat in the fetal position. He had never seen her like this; Her droopy eyes, mouth and face gave him the impression she took drugs with numbing effects. She looked hilarious.

Unable to talk straight, She asked, "Wwho yo lookin at Madarra? Can't you dee what am doing?"

He touched her hot cheek, "I'm here to see how you are fairing."

"Don't wohrry, am not the type just to ly dohwn an die."

He nodded, "I'm happy to hear that." Madara asked the midwifes, "You gave her pain killers?"

"No, She made those and took them herself."

Much was expected from his wife. Madara dared not to look down from the midwife's line of sight. He sat down next to Yoshiyuki.

He whispered to Yoshiyuki, "Are Hyūga midwifes any good?"

Yoshiyuki explained happily, "Indeed, The best in the village. The sight of byakugan is very useful in determining the progress of the labor, the baby's positioning, her chakra statistics and diagnosing any difficulties Seihana could be having."

"Why are you here?"

"What do you think I'm doing?"

He had not thought Yoshiyuki was that type of shinobi. Nevertheless, It made sense, in the chaotic outside world you would be an idiot if you did not know a modicum of medical and healing ninjutsu. Being open about your abilities would be foolish too when everyone could be considered an enemy. All was necessary for survival.

"How is she doing physically?"

"Fine, Lord Madara... Just sit and wait."

On the command of the midwife; Yoshiyuki proceeded to whisper in Seihana's ear. He told her to push after his signal. She followed through the best she could.

Madara asked Yoshiyuki another question, "How good of an alchemist is Seihana?"

"I wouldn't call the medicine she makes alchemy. She must be quite knowledgeable on ingredients with strong chakra, because the medicine she took quickly latched onto the chakra flowing through her body. Intensifying the drug without causing any interruptions of her bodily functions." Yoshiyuki laughed weakly, "Except for her face."

She said to the men, "Why arr yo moroons laughin? This dis noot fuunny."

"Are you feeling any pain? Now? Hana?" Yoshi inquired.

"Noo buut, It feellls lik Iye haave no controool oft myy lowwer bodyy."

He nodded giving her another signal, "Much expected from a woman giving birth."

"Shhuut upp, Yooshi. If dis was yur kid, yo woould have alweady faainted."

"You wish."

An hour later Usagi came into the world screaming as if she came into a cold desolate hell. After she coughed up any fluids the midwife wrapped her up in a blanket and gave her to her mother. Seihana held Usagi in her arms, she cried sorrowfully and offered the baby back to the midwife.

"She's beauutiiful. Give her to Madara."

The midwife gave Madara his daughter.

"Oh, kami..." Madara began to tear up. His daughter shared her mother's long lashed crystalline eyes but everything else such as her hair she got from him. For Madara she looked too much of an Uchiha.

Madara's reaction changed Seihana's disposition, She giggled, "This is the first time I've seen you cry."

"Usagi is my daughter. Welcome to the family, your father, Madara, will protect you for the rest of my life."

Seihana snorted, "You thought she would be another man's daughter?"

He assured her, "No, I always knew she was my daughter. I... Never thought I would have children. But here she is and she's mine."

"We could have more children... If you wish?" She offered hoping for a positive answer,

Madara refused, "I'm happy with Usagi, We will spoil her for sure. Try to get some rest, my love."

Sei laid back down, "Fine, I will leave her to you... until she is hungry again."

After dressing her up in swaddling clothes and a blanket, a few days later, Madara ventured to the Senju residence with Usagi in his arms. He planned to show her off to Hashirama and his family. Hashirama and Mitō greeted him in the lounge room.

He offered the Senju husband and wife, "Who wants to hold the princess?"

Mitō reached out, "I do."

"She looks..." Hashirama glanced down at the baby in his wife's arms.

Mitō ended, "Just like Sei."

Hashirama insisted, "But my son Naoki is cuter."

Madara peered over to Hashirama's baby clone who sat on his father's lap. He joked patting the boy's head, "You mean this oversized monstrosity who smells like poop?"

"Hahaha, At least he will be tall and strong like his father."

"Only your daughter could smell like flowers, Madara." Mitō cooed touching Usagi's chin with her index finger.

"Thanks to her mother."

Hashirama moved on from something else, "How are you going to protect her without looking suspicious to your wife?"

"Seihana sleeps a lot now. Come September 5. I will watch her closely."

Looking as if he just came out of bed Kazui stumbled in. He stood next to Madara peering down at the baby. A smile lightened his mood.

He yawned, "I don't need more cousins."

Tobirama claimed walking in through the front entrance, "You won't be having any brothers and sisters either."

"Ah, brother Tobi... I was about say Kazui could have siblings. Brothers and sisters. Being an only child... is lonely."

"Like you would know, Hashi. You had three brothers including myself."

"Izuna my baby brother. I raised him while father was too busy protecting the clan. My parents died before any of us were married. Usagi is their second grandchild... I hope in the afterlife they are happy." Madara began to tear up again. Talking of his daughter, brother and his family in general made him very emotional.

"Yes, my friend. This little baby is the future of her parents but also the future of the village." Hashirama confirmed, patting Madara's shoulder.

"Thank you, Haaashiraaamaaa!" Madara cried into Hashirama's shoulder.

"Hmp! ''Our'' Hokage is such crybaby. His daughter cries less than him and she's an infant!"

Hashirama disapproved, "Tobi! Just when I thought you were going to be civil toward Madara."

Mitō retorted, "What can I say? Babies are calm in my presence. No matter the clan..." She kissed Usagi's head, "Such a good girl."

Madara did not care for Tobirama's words, "At least I'm an honest Hokage. Showing emotions can get you many friends and fools in the political arena."

"You want to hold Usagi? Tobirama? Or you fear getting too attached?" Challenged Mitō who showed off the baby to him.

Tobirama inspected the baby. Usagi was a combination of Seihana and that damn Madara. Her little pale eyes stared back at him. A primal sense of nurture over came Tobirama but... She's Uchiha. He recoiled from Usagi's gaze.

Tobirama turned away from the baby, "She's trying to hypnotize me into caring for her."

"She's a baby, dummy. You're suppose to take care of her. Her survival depends on it." Mitō laughed.

"My father is actually saying she's adorable." Kazui spoke for Tobirama.

"Good, You can babysit her."

Guided by Kiyoko, Izuna interrupted their exchange. He spoke to all in attendance, "The 'God of wind' in the form of Aikiku visited me in a dream."

His revelation awed everyone in attendance. Madara was the first to speak, "Describe it, Little brother."

Izuna explained, "I was standing over a sea of blood, debris and bodies. Below the sea I could hear muffled mutterings. In that moment, Fujin in the form of Aikiku warned me the spirit of the sea had gone mad."

Kazui spoke, "Why would Fujin contact you?"

Hashirama interrupted, "Before we continue, let's drop any containers of water and liquids outside for the plants and trees to soak up."

"Good idea."

After doing exactly that Izuna continued to speak, "I prayed in his temple with Aikiku several times. Fujin said Suijin wants to create a new beginning for this world. He wants Madara's daughter to bring forth such a creation. The complete eye of god will allow that to happen."

Intense emotions brought forth Madara's sharingan, "That water dragon bastard! No alien or god will ever touch Usagi!"

"The place no one can find her..." Tobirama commanded, "Kūrō come to me."

Soon thereafter Kūrō appeared from the shadows, He bowed, "Yes, Master Tobirama."

"Can you swallow gods? to send them to the emptiness?"

"I believe so, It would be easy if they are in human form." Kūrō replied. "Why?"

Tobirama suggested a strategy, "In places near water Suijin's chakra power multiplys by an indefinite number... He would be undefeatable. If we trapped him in a place which has no water or weather we may be able to defeat him. Hence, Staggering him continuously with coordinated attacks before he has the chance to react is our best strategy."

"Yes, Your plan is perfect. Nevertheless..." Madara said crossing his arms, "It is stupid and reckless to try to kill a god of water... Is it even possible to kill a god of nature? He will reincarnate shortly after expiration. The question is; as what?"

Mitō rocked Usagi, She commented, "Hopefully, as a cute baby dragon."

"If that happens..." Tobirama flat out refused. "I'm not raising a baby dragon god. No matter how related we are."

"Our neighbors will ask my brother; Is that dragon your kid? You look alike? My annoyed brother replies; Yes, He's one of my ancestors."

"Brother, Shut up."

"It will happen, Tobi."

Kazui joked on with uncle Hashirama, "My father giving a bottle of milk to a baby dragon would be classic. My unknown future step-mom will love that."

"You are not getting a step-mother either."

Hashirama gave him a chance, "You may have wasted your relations with ladies like Seihana and Mai. But still there's bound to be someone out there for you, little brother."

Tobirama concluded, "We can't tell Shima or Sayuri about this until the problem is solved. They would foil all my plans, Hashi."

"What are your plans little brother? Become the ultimate shinobi?" Hashirama inquired.

Such question caused Tobirama to give a diabolical smirk, "Just one of my many goals."

"I should have known my brother would sacrifice his happiness in order to be become the ultimate-" Hashirama was interrupted by Kazui. He clutched Tobirama's black sleeve, "I thought you were already the ultimate shinobi, father?"

"I never defeated a god. Once that is finished I will be the ultimate shinobi... Besides that I made a promise to Seihana that I will free her."

Kazui cried into his sleeve, "Father! You may not be the most moral person ever... We don't choose who our father's will be... I just met you months ago! I don't want you to die! She is not worth dying over even if you broke her heart!"

"Kazui ... Breaking one's heart is not possible... Even if I did lead her astray and in many ways myself... In the end, she will thank me."

Madara disagreed, "No, She won't even talk to you... anymore."

Tobirama replied frankly, "I can live with that. As long as she is safe."

"Hmm, I knew he would say some thing like that."

In that moment Kiyoko arrived with a new set of tea. Madara poured some tea into a cup and another for himself and offered it to Tobirama. He thought of slapping the cup out of Madara's hand but he decided not to. "Let's toast to our health."
