"I am always compelled to touch him, but I don't know why. When his hand touches my shoulder, when he touches my back; even when he stands beside me, his hand is just inches away from my leg," Kamakari Kenta, otherwise known as Shishdo Ryou in the Prince of Tennis musical, soaked his face with water, He looked in the mirror then dried the water off with a towel. "He's my Ohtori Choutarou; I'll make him my Date Koji." Kamakari smiled at himself in the mirror.
Kamakari heard a soft giggle behind him, though he didn't turn around. The other boy who just entered the bathroom placed his hands on the Shishido's shoulder, "Sempai," he teased, making himself blush, "I mean, KenKen—"
Kamakari resisted the urge to hold his tennis partner, "Why do you always touch me?" He thought, unaware that he directed the question a loud in an unsympathetic manner.
Date Koji, otherwise known as Ohtori Choutarou, pulled his hands away dropping them to his sides, "Gomennaisai!" The Ohtori turned away fleeing from the bathroom, away from Kamakari.
"No! No!" Kamakari chased after his partner, "Please! Let's talk! Koji!"
He refused to stop, and he kept running until he ran into a dead end. Pushing his back against the wall, Date slid down hugging his knees. "He's being kind to me, he was this whole time. I over touch him, now I know. He thinks I'm gross; he doesn't want to be touched by a boy. I know it. It's all clear to me— but I still love him," Date thought as his head was lifted. Date's eyes met with Kamakari's smiling face. The Shishido laughed causing the Ohtori to blush. "He's laughin at me, now."
Kamakari's laugh ceased, "You are precious. Don't ever run away from me again." Date bit his lower lip, smiling, trying to look up at Kamakari. "Let me ask you again: Why do you always touch me?" Kamakari asked, this time, in a soft tone. "Don't answer me." He placed his hands on Date's cheeks kissing the other boy softly.
As Kamakari moved away, Date put his hands to his mouth. "Kenken…" He said speechless.
"It's okay," Kamakari touched Date's lips with his thumb, "There is one thing I want to tell you."
"I love you, Kenken!" Date squeezed his eyes shut, "You don't always have to be so nice to me. I'm just a boy. I know."
"That's right," Kamakari got up also helping his partner to his feet. Date looked at Kamakari with a smile because of his understanding, but he was hurting on the inside. "You are just a boy," The younger boy held his stomach and squeezed lightly not knowing if he could take much more, "The only boy that I love," Kamakari held Date in his arms satisfied. Date smiled as he buried his face in Kamakari's neck letting the older boy hold him passionately. It was the moment Kamakari Kenta wanted; to hold the teenager and for Date to love him as he did.
