Finishing up 'Blue Ballz' and merging a bit into 'Our Mojo', but not really – like maybe the first couple minutes at the most.
Starts with Lucifer then switches back to Chloe.
Hope everyone enjoys!
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
It was late by the time Lucifer finally returned to the penthouse. Little Charlie had finally went to sleep, and after getting a pep talk from Dan, he and Dan were both sent on their way by Amenadiel. Lucifer felt exhausted in ways he never had before. At least he could walk away and leave his nephew with his actual parents. Now if that wasn't liberating he had no idea what was.
The penthouse was dim when he arrived with only a few lights on so a person could see. Odd. He could have sworn he had turned them all off. Lucifer shrugged the thought away. He had been rather preoccupied when he left perhaps he had just forgotten. It wouldn't have been the first time, and besides the power bill was of no concern for him.
He shrugged off his coat and was unbuttoning his cufflinks when he heard a noise coming from his bedroom. Lucifer froze giving the room beyond a confused look. Who in the world had snuck in here this late? Oh well, they would just have to leave. He really needed to get a code put on that elevator.
"Really sorry, but I am not entertaining tonight, or anytime in the near future, so if you could just…"
Lucifer's words got stuck in his throat. He blinked a couple of times just to make sure he wasn't seeing illusions due to his exhausted state.
"Detective…"
She was a vision. Her blonde hair flowed down over her shoulders. His favorite style if he was completely honest. The lamp light from the bedroom framed her perfectly. And the kicker, she was wearing one of his shirts. She had the sleeves rolled up past her hands and the hem of it only just went to mid-thigh. Lucifer felt like he had been sucker punched in the stomach. He had to work enough saliva into his mouth to even swallow. Eons, millennia, and no human (man or woman) had ever affected him like this.
Chloe smiled softly at him stepping down from his room. "Sorry. It was late. I wanted to talk to you and didn't really feel like driving home to change. I hope you don't mind."
Lucifer dragged his eyes down her form and back up. "Oh, I certainly don't mind, Detective."
What man in his right mind would? Talk? She wanted to talk looking like that? Lucifer busied himself with pouring a drink. He considered himself to have plenty of control, but bloody hell, she was testing that limit. Chloe walked up to him with a smile. Lucifer watched her, his eyes growing dark. He drank his glass watching her legs.
Chloe chuckled. "Eyes up here, Lucifer."
Lucifer snapped his eyes up. He grinned tightly. "Well, when you put on a show like that…" He trailed off forcing his eyes away to pour another drink.
"So, how is Charlie?"
"A baby." Lucifer grimaced a bit. "He certainly reminded me why I never want children. Not that I really needed the reminder." He looked at Chloe with a grin. "Could you imagine? The Devil? With a child?" Lucifer chuckled and shivered. Yeah, no thanks.
Chloe chuckled and shook her head. "I don't know." She couldn't resist teasing him. "You warmed up to Trixie."
Lucifer looked at her aghast. "The urchin is entirely different. She was already basically grown by the time I met her."
"She was seven."
He waved it off. "And still not quite so annoying as many children her age. The mess alone…"
"Okay, Lucifer. No children. Got it."
A sudden thought filled him with dread and fear. "Detective…you don't want…"
"No!" Chloe looked at him adamantly holding up her hands. "Lucifer, no. Trixie is more than enough for me. I was simply teasing. Nothing more."
Lucifer wore a nervous smile. "Right." He took a small sip from his glass. "Hold on, how did you know I was there?"
Chloe looked a bit sheepish as she tucked some hair behind her ear. "Michael told me."
"Michael told you." Lucifer sneered a bit. Of course he bloody well did. Nosy body. "And what else did he tell you?"
"Nothing. I only asked him to find you so that was all he told me."
Confusion took over Lucifer. He tilted his head as he looked at Chloe. "You asked him to find me?"
Chloe nodded. "You weren't answering my calls."
"And he agreed to that?" Michael was taking requests from the Detective? What was happening here?
Another nod. "He surprised me tonight and I may have called him out on his bullshit." Chloe shifted pushing more hair behind her ears. She was nervous. Lucifer narrowed his eyes. "We may have reached an understanding."
"Oh, did you?" Lucifer growled under his breath finishing his drink. He wasn't entirely sure he liked the fact that the Detective and Michael were talking.
"It's nothing like that." Chloe placed a hand on his arm. "He can't lie to me, Lucifer. I know you find that hard to believe but he can't. I don't know how to explain it; I honestly don't even know how to start, but I think there is something there…"
Lucifer moved from her. "There is nothing there worth digging for. He is a liar. There is nothing else." He had thought there was, believed there was, once but Michael had proven otherwise. Michael had lied to him, his own twin, so easily. Lucifer grit his teeth.
"I don't believe that. You can't truly believe that."
"I can, and you should too. He is going to destroy you, Detective." Just like he had destroyed everything else; just like he had destroyed Lucifer.
Chloe stepped toward him. "He is your brother…"
"He is no brother of mine." Lucifer growled his eyes turning red. He refused to look at Chloe.
"Lucifer…"
"Enough!"
Why was she pushing this? Why couldn't she see? Michael could not be trusted. Lucifer had trusted him, with literally everything, and Michael had thrown it back in his face. He had lied to him then tried to make everything Lucifer's fault while Lucifer had no clue what he had done. He would have never thought his brother could be so two-faced but he had been. It had hurt, still hurt, possibly more than hellfire.
"This is how he does it, Detective; he gets in your head. He makes you think you can trust him. He makes you think he is something he isn't then he tears you apart."
Chloe watched and listened to Lucifer. He was frustrated and upset. His fingers raided his normally so well kept hair and his eyes glowed ember in his anger and frustration. She wanted to reach out to him and comfort him but knew he wouldn't let her; not right now. Chloe started to fidget with the sleeves that covered her hands.
"How is he doing this? Why are you trusting him?"
"I never said I trusted him, Lucifer." Chloe stepped closer to him noticing the ember in his eyes going out as he looked at her; dowsed by a gathering of tears. He was angry, but also hurting. "I have no idea how to make this believable to you, I wish I did, but I don't." She reached out a hand, running her fingers along his jaw to cup his face. "Help me figure out a way to help you trust me."
"I do trust you, Detective, but you make it sound like you are a lie detector test or something. It doesn't make any sense." Lucifer blinked but those tears didn't fall.
Chloe took her hand back. "Like it makes any sense that I was created specifically for you? Like it makes any sense that after all this time that Hell suddenly doesn't need a warden? What part of any of this makes sense?"
Lucifer opened his mouth to respond but couldn't. She was right. Nothing made sense. Where did that leave them? Silence fell over them. Lucifer took the time to calm himself further. He shouldn't take out his issues on the Detective. He poured another drink and tossed it back. If only it actually worked.
"But you know the one thing that does?" Her voice was quiet but he heard her clearly.
"What's that, Detective?" Lucifer questioned watching her carefully.
"It took me awhile but I've realized something." Chloe began playing with the sleeves of the shirt she was wearing. "I kept trying to place normal expectations on us and that's impossible to do since we aren't, well, normal."
Lucifer snorted and motioned to himself. "Putting it a bit mildly."
Chloe chuckled softly. "Exactly. So, maybe we just need to forget normal and just do 'us'."
"And that is?"
"Be incredible. Together." Chloe stepped back up to him. "And if that is the only thing that makes sense, then so be it. I'll take it because that is all that matters. Heaven, Hell, Michael…none of that matters, as long as I have you."
Lucifer took her face between his hands and kissed her with intent. Chloe gasped into his mouth, taken by surprise, but quickly responded. She ran her hands through his hair thoroughly tousling the strands even more. Her fingers tangled and pulled. Lucifer groaned backing her up against the bar. His hands traveled the length of her torso skimming the sides of her breasts making her shiver. Those hands continued their trek, pulling her even closer by her hips, before moving around to grip just under her ass enough to lift her up.
Lucifer thought he would self-destruct when he realized his Detective was only wearing his shirt, his shirt which did very little to cover her bottom half with her arms raised as they were.
"Detective, you naughty girl." He growled in the back of his throat nipping at her bottom lip.
Chloe gasped. "I may have…" She briefly lost her train of thought as Lucifer started nipping down her neck. He was holding her like she weighed nothing as he carried her. The fact that she probably didn't weigh all that much to him sent shivers of heat down her spine. "Oh…planned this a little bit."
Lucifer hummed pinning her between him and the stone wall just outside the bedroom. "Little minx." And his lips took over hers again.
Chloe wrapped her legs around him pulling him tight against her. The feel of the fabric of his pants and the sharp chill of his belt buckle had her moaning into his mouth. Lucifer groaned in answer pressing hard against the heat of her. They worked together to remove the vest and shirt he was wearing.
Distantly, a phone started ringing. Lucifer pulled back to fix her with a hard look.
"Don't even think about it." He would be damned if he let her go now.
Chloe chuckled. "Only if it rings three times back to back." Lucifer lifted an eyebrow. "It was the easiest way to let me know if it was Trixie."
The phone stopped ringing. They stayed still staring at each other. It did not ring again.
Lucifer gave her a salacious grin. "Your mine, Detective."
Chloe leaned forward resting her forehead against his. She stared into his eyes. "Yours." She whispered.
Lucifer's eyes flashed. He moved them so fast her head spun a bit as he laid her beneath him on the bed. Chloe watched him as Lucifer looked down at her. The look in his eyes made her chest feel tight and her heart skip a beat. Lucifer felt as though he was drowning in her eyes. Gently he brushed some hair out of her face.
"Incredible." He whispered before leaning down to kiss her deeply.
Lucifer quickly became lost in her. He trailed kisses down her neck to her chest slowly unbuttoning the buttons of the shirt she was wearing as he went. Her hands strayed to his hair again tugging at the strands. He groaned. He looked up at her as he dipped his tongue into her belly button. Chloe shivered watching those dark eyes intently as he continued his way down leaving wet kisses along her skin.
The first taste of her against his tongue just about did him in. Lucifer had imagined it many times but was unprepared for the reality. The sound of her gasping his name and the feel of her tugging even more at his hair only served to drive him further.
Chloe couldn't think. Her brain was mush as far as she was concerned. If his tongue action was any indication she was doomed. Then his fingers joined in. The feel of them as they entered her had her writhing but then he curled them just so…Chloe made a sound that was somewhere between a moan and cry. He kept his fingers moving and would do the same curl at random times. It never failed to make her toes curl and her body shake with pleasure. Lucifer's tongue never once relented once against her clit. Chloe felt herself fall over much sooner than she could have ever anticipated.
When she felt she had control of her body again, Chloe pulled him back up to engage him another deep kiss. Lucifer groaned deep in his throat allowing her to roll them over. He watched her through hooded eyes as she started her own exploration. Chloe ran her hands along his chest, down the taunt muscles of his abdomen, to work quickly at undoing his belt buckle. Lucifer needed no prompting in lifting his hips to aid in the removal of his pants. She was unsurprised to find him going commando.
Lucifer watched her trail her hands back up his legs to his hips. His breath caught in his lungs when her hand gripped him and she ran her tongue along his tip. Fuck. His vulnerability must be playing havoc with him. She lowered her head taking him into her mouth.
Lucifer could remember feeling this overwhelmed only once before, very long ago, in a dim and special place that was only theirs to share with black and white feathers cradling them, but he quickly pushed the memory away. It had no place here.
His entire body felt hypersensitive to her touch and if she kept doing that with her tongue he was going to finish embarrassingly quickly and damn it he had a reputation to keep.
"Chloe…"
Those blue eyes instantly met his. Desire resided in those eyes as she raised her head. Lucifer ran a hand through her hair removing it from her face. Chloe smiled at him her eyes filled with an emotion he didn't feel fully equipped to handle. His heart felt like it was going to beat straight out of his chest.
Chloe crawled up his body. Her lips ghosted over his as her hand stroked him. His hips thrusted up into her hand and his lips pressed tighter against hers. Lucifer blinked up at her when she sat up. He was in no way prepared for the feel of her when she lowered herself over him. His hands gripped her hips with a gasped moan. His eyes closed as his head tilted back in pleasure.
She was so damn warm. Bloody hell. Lucifer had to grit his teeth and breathe deeply through his nose to gain control back. A hand stroke along his cheek and prompted him to open his eyes again. Chloe sat astride him, desire oozing from every pore in her body, and her blue eyes were almost eclipsed by the darkness of her pupils. His shirt hung off her shoulders. Its stark brightness against her skin framed her breasts. Lucifer gave into temptation, running his hands from her hips to cup the soft mounds. Chloe shivered and clenched around him. He groaned with a small thrust of his hips.
Chloe gasped. Her hands held his against her chest as she allowed herself to move. She could feel every inch of him with every rotation and slide of her hips against his. There was certainly nothing average about him. Lucifer watched her every move with darkened eyes. His hips met her rhythm flawlessly.
They were lost in sensation. The sensual move and glide of their bodies swept them away. Chloe had her head tilted back gasping out in pleasure with every thrust of his hips upward. Her eyes were closed even as he started working her clit with his fingers. They were both so close; they were racing toward the end. Chloe was so lost in the feelings she was not expecting the feel of his teeth to scrape against one of her nipples. Her eyes snapped opened. Lucifer nipped at the other one at the same time he pressed his thumb against her clit. Chloe cried out as she fell for the second time.
The rhythmic contractions of her orgasm gripped him. Lucifer buried his face in her shoulder. He wanted to last so much longer but couldn't. Chloe swept him along with her.
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Chloe felt warm all over. The sheets were cool and soft against her skin. A mouth and tongue were trailing down her body while hands ghosted above the skin of her thighs as a body settled between her legs. Chloe shivered and moaned when the questing mouth settled over her core. The tongue lapped at her and flicked at her clit. Her fingers buried themselves in soft strands and tugged. Chloe received a muffled groan in response. She tugged on those strands until the mouth left her. Blue eyes opened and looked down to find Michael's smirking face looking up at her.
Chloe screamed. She sat up smacking and kicking not caring what part of him got hit. Half-awake, she leaned over to where she kept her gun in her bedside table only to find it wasn't her bed she was in.
"Son of a bitch. Detective!"
Wait a minute. Chloe froze still blinking herself awake. Michael didn't have a British accent, Lucifer… Oh no. Chloe whipped back around to find Lucifer sitting at the foot of the bed holding a hand to his face. His brown eyes were watery with tears and he was looking at her as though she had lost her mind. The penthouse was bright with the sun shining in through the windows.
Oh my… "Lucifer!" Chloe rushed to him her eyes wide in her panic. "Oh Go…I am so sorry!" She reached for him. "Let me see…"
Lucifer was hesitant to move his hand but Chloe was insistent. He let her lower his hand slowly to reveal the lower part of his face coated in blood still steadily streaming from his nose.
"Lucifer, I am so sorry!" Chloe ran into the bathroom to grab multiple towels and back out. She handed one to Lucifer to hold against his nose to hopefully try to stop the bleeding. The others she used to start trying to clean him up. She kept apologizing.
"It's quite alright, Detective." Lucifer tried to reassure her although the now nasally tone in his voice due to his broken and bleeding nose did little to calm her down. "I would like to request you simply tell me if I do something you don't like instead of kicking me in the face in the future."
"No, Lucifer, it wasn't that. I just…" Chloe paused searching for a way to not lie to him. There was absolutely no way she could tell him that she had been dreaming and envisioned Michael. Lucifer would flip, expectedly, and she was already internally panicking enough. "I was dreaming and…"
"And it was not the kind of dream I was going for apparently."
Lucifer lowered the washcloth to inspect the bleeding. He grumbled when a fresh wave flowed down his face. Chloe continued to apologize now panicking even more. Could he bleed out from this? She quickly pushed his hand back up to his nose.
"Well, I can honestly say that this is a first." He grumbled.
"I bet." Chloe mumbled guiltily. "I really am sorry. I don't normally freak out like that."
Lucifer eyed her a bit. "If it's all the same to you, Detective, I'm just going to make sure you are fully awake before attempting again from now on."
Chloe winced. Okay, she deserved that. The morning after their first time was a bust. Damn.
Lucifer lowered the cloth again only to have the same results happen as last time. "This isn't stopping, Detective. Maybe…" Lucifer trailed off and his eyes looked pained when he looked at her.
Oh, right. He was only bleeding because of his vulnerability. Guilt settled deep in Chloe's chest.
"I'll go get us some breakfast. Anything in particular?"
He shrugged in response. Chloe moved to get changed out of Lucifer's borrowed shirt only to realize she had no other clothes. She had never gone home to get anymore and she really did not want to put on the ensemble from the night before.
"I flew to your home earlier and grabbed you some clothes, Detective. Check the chair."
He flew? Chloe shook her head. Lucifer had wings. Of course he could fly. Sure enough, a new change of clothes were resting and waiting for her in the soft chair in the corner of the room by his closet. Chloe was impressed that he had picked out perfectly sensible clothing. Even the bra and panties he had grabbed were of the soft cotton variety that she mainly owned. Granted, she did have some lacy and more provocative pairs in her drawers that he could have selected (and had most probably looked at and handled) but he had deferred to her preferences. Chloe felt her chest warm before guilt started to once again chew its way through. What was going on with her?
Once clothed, she turned to find him watching her appreciatively if a little disappointed. Chloe smiled softly.
"You sure you have no preference?"
Lucifer nodded. "Anything you wish is fine." His voice was still nasally sounding.
Chloe motioned to his face. The cloth he was using was now soaked red. "How far should I go?"
After a moment of thought he answered. "You shouldn't have to go terribly far. I'll text when the bleeding stops."
Something must have shown on her face or in her eyes because he grabbed her arm as she walked by. Chloe looked at him.
"It really is okay, Detective."
The soft smile he tried to give her was covered by the bloody cloth and only made Chloe feel worse. She nodded anyway and left to get their breakfast.
Chloe had only gone about a block when he texted giving her the all clear. She sighed. This whole morning wouldn't have happened if she hadn't been thinking about Michael. Speaking of…Chloe quickly dialed Amenadiel to see if there was a time that she could meet up and speak with him. They agreed to meet up a little after lunch time during Charlie's nap since Linda was at work that day. Chloe would have been working if she hadn't requested the day off. She should have been enjoying her morning with Lucifer but that had not turned out the way she had hoped.
Chloe had just gotten back in the car when her phone dinged. It was a text from Maze with the address Michael was staying at. So he was staying in L.A. Why would he do that? He hadn't really seemed like the type to stay on Earth if he didn't have to. Chloe pushed those thoughts away. She needed to focus on Lucifer right now. The Michael mystery could wait. It had already gotten her in trouble once already today. That should have been enough warning to leave things well alone but Chloe knew she was stubborn once she sunk her teeth into a mystery that needed solving.
Once back at the penthouse, Chloe sat their food on the bar before making her way to the bedroom. She stood at the stairs and watched Lucifer mess with the cuffs of his shirt. He had not yet buttoned it and his hair was damp and unfixed; the hint of soft curls lingered about the top of his head. He must have just gotten out of the shower recently. Chloe hated she missed it.
"Detective." Lucifer smiled brightly as she stepped up into the room. "I was beginning to think you had gotten lost." He reached for her, wrapping his arms around her waist when she stood between his legs.
Chloe ran her fingers over his face. "It's like nothing happened."
Lucifer's expression turned soft. "It really is okay, Detective. It's not the worst injury I've had I can assure you."
She shook her head eyes closed. Chloe knew that. That wasn't the point.
A soft sigh left him. "Detective…"
"Let me make it up to you." Chloe spoke over him fixing him with a determined look. "What do you want?"
Lucifer tilted his head fixing her with a look filled with confusion. "Really, Detective, you don't have to…"
Chloe held his face gently between her hands. She smirked at him playfully. "Come on, Lucifer, what do you desire?"
Lucifer's face fell blank a moment before he spoke. "I…I want to pin you down and pound you into the mattress so good you can't think anymore." Lucifer blinked like he was coming out of a trance.
They stared at each other a moment before Chloe huffed a small nervous laugh moving her hands to rest on his shoulders. "Quit playing with me."
Lucifer looked very uneasy. "I wasn't aware I was."
Chloe watched Lucifer look away from her blinking in confusion and unease. She thought about his admitted desire and felt herself throb in interest. She was most certainly game if that was what he wanted. Chloe tilted his face up to meet hers with a finger under his chin.
"Do it." She whispered.
Lucifer watched her. "Really?"
Chloe nodded. "I'm free until later this afternoon."
Lucifer grinned at her. It was filled with intent and made Chloe shiver in nerves and arousal. "You were." He mocked growled.
They were his only words before he turned her to pin her to the bed. Chloe giggled briefly before those giggles quickly turned to sighs and moans as Lucifer took his desire from her. Maybe the morning could be salvaged.
