Halfway to their new nesting location Terk decides to strike up a conversation with 'Tarzana'. Tantor keeps pace with 'them' ready to join in the conversation.

Terk: So T… how bad were you hurt by Sabor?

Terk turns to look at her cousin, confused by the unexpected silence. Tantor and Terk both turn to look at Tarzana but are shocked by what they see. Unlike what they originally thought, believing her to be in between the friends, Tarzana was nowhere in sight. Tantor speaks up.

Tantor: Tarzana?

Terk: Oh no… (Terk runs up ahead some to catch up with Flynt and Mungo inform them of the recent development while Tantor stays behind so as to not attract any unwanted attention. She hopes that they are willing to help her search for Tarzana.) Hey Flynt! Mungo! (She whisper yells as she walks up beside them.)

Mungo: Hey Terk!

Flynt: How's it going?

Terk: Tarzana has gone missing.

The two young males halt in their steps. They glance at the clan and see that Terk was right. Flynt and Mungo begin to question Terk.

Flynt: What?

Mungo: Why?

Terk: I don't know.

Flynt: After what she's done?

Mungo: Yeah! Why would she try to get on Kerchak's bad side so soon?

Terk: I have no idea but can you guys help me go look for her. Kerchak will be mad if he finds out she's not here.

Mungo: Give us a moment and we'll meet you by the pond we past a bit ago.

Terk: Fine but be quick! We can't let Kerchak find out.

Terk runs off to Tantor to tell him of the plan. They head to the pond and wait for the two young gorillas to appear. A few moments later Flynt and Mungo appear through the forestry.

Terk: Jeez guys what took you so long? (As the words leave her mouth, more gorillas pop out from the bushes. Confused as to why they are there Terk questions them.) What's going on? What did you two do?

Flynt: We went for more help.

Mungo: They all admire what Tarzana did earlier and what to look for her.

Tantor: Is this true?

Young gorillas: Of course! She saved the clan! We respect heroism.

A sense of pride started to swell in Terk's chest. Years ago if this were to have happened, Terk knows that the others would only be coming to tease Tarzana or make fun of her. That their 'help' was just a rouse to make her an outcast. The looks in their eyes tell a different story now. Each one of the gorillas speaks truth. None of them wish to see her to come to harm. It seems that her cousin's defeat of Sabor has really moved the other gorillas in the clan.

Terk: Ok, lets hurry.

Lead by Terk and Tantor, the gorillas follow them through the jungle in search of their missing member.

As the group makes its way through some bamboo trees Flynt starts to call out for Tarzana.

Flynt: Tarzana! Tarzana!

Mungo: Let's hope we find her before Kerchak does.

Flynt: Maybe she's lost. Or found something more interesting?

Terk laughs at Flynt's statement. It's ridiculous to think that there would be anything else out there to take away Tarzana's attention.

Terk: What are you, nuts? What could be more interesting than us?

But as the gang comes out of the bushes, they gasp as they see something. Tantor pops his head through the trees looking down at his friends.

Tantor: Hey, what's everybody looking at? (He looks up and gasps as well.)

Sure enough, the gang has stumbled onto some sort of camp. They don't know it, but it's the humans' camp they just found. Tantor looks around hesitantly at the odd stuff he has never seen before...and then he shrieks.

Tantor: Oh, THE HORROR! It's gruesome! Hide me! (He hides behind Terk trying to bury himself in dirt. Terk sighs pitifully before smacking him upside the head.)

Terk: Pull yourself together, you're embarrassing me! These things aren't alive.

The gorillas chuckle at Tantor's reaction.

Tantor: I knew that. (He chuckles sheepishly.)

All Gorillas: Tarzana! Tarzana!

Tantor: Hello?

The group walks through the camp to see if Tarzana may be around. Terk goes to a table as she takes note of a few science experiments.

Terk: What kind of primitive beasts are responsible for this mess?

Terk then sees some sort of device, a typewriter, and goes to it. Out of curiosity, she presses one of the buttons. Suddenly, the paper guide moves, making her jump. She does it again and this time she grins.

Terk: Wow! Come here, you guys! Come here, come here, look at this!

The others come over and watch as Terk begins typing. She does it until the typewriter dings and the paper guide slides back to the start for her to start typing again. The gorillas all exclaim in unison.

All: What is that? Hey! Oohhhh!

Terk does it again. Another ding is heard, which is followed by Flynt breaking one of the dishes.

Terk: Hey! Do it again, do it again.

Flynt looks puzzled but does what Terk asks as she types on the typewriter until a ding is heard.

Flynt: Like this? (He breaks another dish.)

Soon, a tear is heard. It is from Mungo, who accidently tears a page out of a book.

Terk: Yeah! (Flynt smirks as he does it again, with Terk helping him. Mungo rips another page.) Yeah, rip it! (Terk types fast on the typewriter until it dings.) Ding, I love that part! (Another gorilla knocks over a box of silverware. Terk then pulls over a big gorilla to take over doing the typewriter.) Lemme hear it, big fella. Now hit it! (The book tears again as Terk jumps on the box of silverware. The gorillas begin making music with the objects around the camp.) Yeah! (She strums a clothesline then tosses a box of silverware and dings the glass of an oil lamp. She then shakes a box of instant mashed potatoes with a gorilla.) Nice!

Soon, the rest of the gorillas are using other objects. Terk inspects a weird-looking horn from a record player.

Terk: What the heck, buh-bye. (She tosses the horn aside as Tantor starts coming to her.)

Tantor: Terk- (The horn lands in his trunk. He suddenly blows through it as it trumpets.)

Terk: Yeah, Tant! Now hit it! (She encourages Tantor to join by blowing on the horn.) Come on, Tantor! Oh, I love it! Stay with me fellas! I feel something happening here!

As Terk runs around happily, the music starts getting good and gathering a nice beat. Soon she begins a song, sort of.

Terk: Shoo ba do, da bi da, do bi do, da bi da, da do dat. Shoo bi do, da bi da. Do bi do. Da bi da, da do da. Shoo bi do, da bi ba, do bi do, da bi da, da do da. Do bop she do. Woo!

Terk does some tricks on a globe and kicks it. Tantor ends up on top of the globe and begins to roll through the camp, while blowing the horn. He is having difficulty running on it due to the spinning. Terk laughs as she dances while Flynt and Mungo are being fools bouncing up and down on barrels. Tantor still has problems on top of the globe as he goes to pass by Terk.

With a smirk, Terk grabs the horn, much to the elephant's annoyance and climbs up a pole nearby and blows in it. In retaliation, Tantor headbutts the pole to shake it in hopes to get the horn back. Thoroughly shaken, Terk drops the horn as the elephant grabs it. Tantor proceeds to go back to blowing in it.

Terk now does some drumming on teapots and cups with a spoon. Flynt does the same thing with the glass science pipes, only to end up smashing them. Next Terk hits a few pots and pans while everyone else is doing the same.

Terk makes music with a skeleton but hits the skull away from the body. The others decide to have fun and tosses it with the objects they are using. Soon, the skull lands in between Tantor's tusks, revibrating off of them.

Next, Terk opens the doors of a dresser to really get into the beat while Flynt and Mungo use a ladder as a seesaw. Terk does a cartwheel using wooden buckets on her arms and legs. The music gets really good as the camp gets even more wrecked as everyone hits down objects one by one.

Everyone: Shoo bi do, da bi do, do bi do, da bi da, da do da. Shoo bi do, da bi da, do bi do, da bi da, da do da.

Unknown to them, the group's music is being heard throughout the jungle. Kerchak and his clan are searching for those not with them. He is upset that the gorillas, especially Tarzana, has wandered away from the group. They hear the music and decide to investigate. They aren't the only ones to have heard the sounds. Clayton and Porter have heard it as well and decide to investigate themselves.

Back at the camp, the entire gang is really getting to the beat.

Everyone: Do bop she do. Woo!

Soon, the music gets faster as the gorillas continue dancing with each other while Tantor blows his horn. One fast music number later, the camp now looks like a tornado has gone through it. The song is now over as Tarzana and John have arrived swinging from a vine. They look at the destroyed camp. John's eyes widen in surprise, as does Tarzana's, as they see the gorillas. John calls out happily.

John: Gorillas! (John sees Tarzana happily running to Terk and the others. Terk, seeing Tarzana, grins as she and her cousin begin to wrestle, with Tarzana doing gorilla language, much to John's amazement.) She's one of them.

Terk: We were all worried about you.

Tarzana: Sorry Terk. I know I shouldn't have, but I had this gut feeling that wouldn't go away.

Terk: Well at least you're here now, but that doesn't mean that I won't get you back later.

Tarzana: You're welcome to try.

As Tarzana is yet speaking the gorilla language, Terk sees John come up from behind Tarzana and looks alarmed. The other gorillas see him and stare at him. They actually see a creature that looks like Tarzana, yet the ape woman doesn't fully understand it yet. Tarzana, looking at John, grins and motions her pals to go to him. Terk is reluctant but does so while Tarzana is behind them. Terk looks at the ape woman who does a soft growling in a gorilla-like fashion.

Tarzana: It's okay. He's nice.

Trusting her cousin, she stares at John in acceptance walking up to him. The others walk towards him curiously. Tarzana grins at Terk and the one who makes her heart flutter like a million butterflies. She is sure the gorilla will like John like they like her. She just knows it. Things will be alright after all...that is, until Tarzana gets a shocking look. Something is behind John, a big familiar something.

John is so busy concentrating on Terk that he doesn't notice that something is behind him. That is, until he feels a breath on his neck. Getting afraid, he turns and sure enough, behind him is a frustrated silver-back gorilla-namely Kerchak.

John: Oh my-

Suddenly, Kerchak roars pounding his chest and baring his teeth. Remembering his father's lessons on animal attacks, John crouches in front of him on the ground trying to look as submissive and nonthreatening as possible. John looks at Kerchak as he wonders what to do. He grabs the closest thing to him, which happens to be a soup spoon, and uses it to protect himself, though he knows it won't work.

Kerchak looks at his own reflection in the spoon, fogging it with his breathing. With a frown, he smells John, as shock comes over him. Kerchak realizes that he smells similar to Tarzana. He stands up and roars at Tarzana and the other gorillas, most likely scolding them for being near the strangers and all the trouble they have caused.

Kerchak: What have you all done?!

Kala, who is nearby, nods as she speaks in her own language while Kerchak does the same.

Kerchak: Everyone! To the nesting grounds! We're leaving!

Kala: Come Tarzana.

The gorillas make their way back into the jungle, followed by Terk's group. Terk doesn't move at first until Tantor grabs her, taking her with him. John stays on the ground not daring to move for fear of accidently challenging Kerchak.

Tarzana is about to leave until she stops to look at John, who is staring at her. Although he only just met her, he suddenly gets a liking to this wild ape woman and doesn't let her go. Tarzana looks at him longingly. Just as she was about to head back to John, Kala comes over to her daughter and takes her hand, motioning her to come along as voices are heard. Tarzana looks to her mother sadly as they speak in gorilla language.

Kala: Tarzana it's time to go.

Tarzana: But Mama…

Kala: Now!

Tarzana keeps looking at John as she and her mother back away slowly. Eventually she turns to her mom and nods her head as they run into the jungle. John misses the solemn look on her face as she heads for the jungle. John and Clayton yell for John.

Porter: John!

Clayton: John!

John watches Tarzana's retreating back. The voices of his father and Clayton getting closer.

Porter: John! John, where are you?

As John keeps watching Tarzana and Kala go back into the safety of the jungle, Clayton and his father arrive. Porter hugs his son tight, relieved to see him not hurt.

Porter: John, oh, John, oh thank goodness!

Clayton, of course, takes a look at the camp and looks shocked to see it a wreck.

Clayton: Good heavens, what happened?

Porter: Are you all right? We've been everywhere looking for you.

Porter holds his heart as John snaps out of his stare. He stands up helping his father as he recounts what happened flailing his hands about.

John: Oh, oh my goodness! Father! I was out walking.

Porter: Yes, yes.

John: I was...little baby…little baby monkey! And I drew a picture!

Porter: Yes, go on.

John: Suddenly, the monkey starts crying...

Porter: Oh, poor thing.

John: And I turned around and there's a whole fleet of them!

Porter: What, what what?

John: There's an army of monkeys!

Clayton: M-m-monkeys?

John: A huge tree complete with them!

Porter: Monkeys!

John: Screaming at me!

He begins making baboon noises.

Porter: That's theropithecus baboonus! He's very good at this.

Clayton: Oh really?

Clayton responds unimpressed.

John: Terrified I was, terrified. Suddenly, I was swinging on a vine!

Porter: With the monkey?

John: Up in the air! Swinging, flying! I was in the air!

Porter: In the air, yes I know.

John: And we were all surrounded!

Porter: What did you do?

John: And Father, they took my boot. (He motions to the foot where his boot use to be on his bare foot. Clayton rolls his eyes and shakes his head at John's theatrics.)

Porter: They took-those were the ones I bought you.

John: And I was saved! I was saved by a flying wild woman in a loincloth! Completely topless she was!

Porter looks puzzled as he questions his son.

Porter: Loincloth? Topless? Good Lord.

Clayton: What is he speaking about?

Porter shakes his head in ignorance.

Porter: I haven't the foggiest idea. Takes after his mother, you know. She'd come up with stories like that. Not about women in loincloths, let alone topless of course, but-

John: Oh and there were gorillas!

The two men brighten up at the word.

Clayton and Porter: Gorillas?!

John: They were doing-

Clayton rushes up to John firmly grabbing his arms.

Clayton: You saw the gorillas? Where, John, where?!

He looks to where Tarzana left through the bushes.

John: She left with them.

Porter: Who, son, who?

John grins with a sigh, a lovestruck look on his face.

John: Tarzana.

Clayton: Tarzana?

John: The ape woman.
