Jackson "Jax" Teller was working on the transmission of a Dodge when he noticed a black 1967 Chevy Impala pulling into the lot.

Wiping his hands on a rag, Jax made his way outside followed by both Chibs Telford and Tig Trager.

The two ladies inside the Impala had finally decided to exit the car.

The blonde didn't look at all familiar to Jax but the same definitely couldn't be said for the brunette that was now walking towards him.

Despite not having seen her for 8 years, Jax would know Cheyenne Hale anywhere.

Once she was finally standing in front of him, the blond wrapped his arms around the woman that had at one point been like the sister that he hadn't gotten to grow up with.

"Hey, Cheyenne girl. It's really good to have you back in Charming again, darling. We've all really missed you around here something fierce."

Cheyenne let out a laugh at Jax's words as she returned his hug, burying her head in his chest as she struggled not to burst into tears right there in the middle of the lot.

"I've missed all of you idiots too, Jax. Especially you and Ope."

Jax let out a chuckle of his own and kissed the top of Cheyenne's head before removing his arms from around her and stepping to the side so that Chibs and Tig could greet her as well.

After exchanging a hug with both the Scot and the curly haired man, the brunette then introduced the trio of men to her best friend who had accompanied her on her journey back to the small town.

"Lucy's brother is actually prospecting for you guys which is why she came with me. They haven't seen each other since, when was it exactly, Luce?"

"It was right after Kip came back from his tour in Iraq so about 3, 4 years now. Is he actually here right now?"

"Uh, yeah. He's inside the clubhouse. Tig, why don't you take Lucy inside to Sack while I take Cheyenne into the office? I'm sure she's dying to finally see Ma again."

Cheyenne couldn't help but laugh at Jax's statement. She actually was dying to see Gemma Teller-Morrow again after so long.

The older woman had been the closest to an actual mother that the brunette had ever had and she was looking forward to seeing her again.

Cheyenne followed Jax inside the shop and to the office where she knew that his mother was likely trying to sort through a huge amount of paperwork and what not for the shop's customers.

She opted to wait right outside the door while Jax explained to his mother that there was someone on the other side of the door that he thought that she might be happy to see.

Cheyenne's heart was beating like crazy in her chest as she watched Jax step out of the office, Gemma right behind him.

"Oh, my God. Cheyenne, is that really you baby girl?"

All Cheyenne could do was nod her head as she fought against the tears that threatened to escape from her brown eyes once again.

She felt herself being wrapped up in a hug by Gemma and it was then that she finally allowed herself to let go and cry like she had wanted to do the moment that she and Lucy had first pulled into the lot earlier.

Gemma didn't say anything and instead she simply tightened her arms around Cheyenne's smaller figure, holding the younger woman close to her as she continued to cry.

It took Cheyenne a few minutes to calm herself down enough to where she was able to speak.

"Sorry about that, Gem. It's just that it didn't really truly hit me until I actually saw you again after all this time."

"What's that, baby?"

Cheyenne gave the older woman a small smile before continuing.

"I'm really back. I'm finally home again."

Gemma couldn't help but smile at the younger woman's words.

"Yeah, baby girl. You're finally home."
