"It's going to be a tough," said Marcus, who was eating anything.

"Stop worrying, Marcus," said Harry convincingly, "bit of rain won't stop the greatest seeker Hogwarts has ever seen.

But it was considerably more then a bit of rain. Such was the popularity of Quidditch that the whole school turned out to watch the match as usual, but they ran down the lawns toward the Quidditch field, heads bowed against the ferocious wind, umbrella being whipped out of their hands as they went.

The wind was so strong that they staggered sideways as they walked out onto the field. If the crowd was cheering, they couldn't hear it over the fresh rolls of thunder. Rain was splattering over Harry's glasses.

Impervius Harry hissed in parseltongue.

The Hufflepuffs were approaching from the opposite side of the field, wearing canary-yellow robes. The Captains walked up to each other and shook hands; Diggory smiled at Marcus but he now looked as though he had lockjaw and merely nodded. Harry saw Madam Hooch's mouth form the words, "mount your broom." He pulled his right foot out of the mud with a squelch and swung it over his Nimbus Two thousand. Madam Hooch put her whistle to her lips and gave it a blast that sounded shrill and distant —— they were off.

Harry rose fast, but his Nimbus was swerving slightly with the wind. He held it as steady as he could and turned, squinting into the rain.

He urged his broom through the turbulent air, staring in every direction for the snitch, avoiding a Bludger, ducking beneath Diggory, who was streaking in the opposite direction completely blind.

There was a clap of thunder, followed immediately by forked lightning.

Harry saw the snitch and he rushed toward it, catching it.

Suddenly with Nihilus appeared in a clap of thunder.

Harry's eyes glowed gold and he shot a column of golden fire at Nihilus who raised his hand consuming it.

Nihilus sent his signature shadow cut infused with a bit of green lightning.

It hit Harry's broom which exploded and Harry blacked out.

Harry's eyes snapped open. He was lying in the hospital wing. The Slytherin Quidditch team, spattered with mud from head to foot, was gathered around his bed. Hermione and Draco were also there , looking as though they'd climbed out of a swimming pool.

"Harry!" Said Draco, "how're you feeling?"

"Dumbeldore was really angry," Hermione said in a quaking voice. "I've never seen him like that before. He ran onto the field as you fell, waved his wand and you sort of slowed down before you fit the ground. Then he whirled his wand at the mysterious wizard said something to him and the wizard appeared before Dumbeldore whispering something then dissapeared."

"Do you have the shards" Harry said.

Draco, reached for a bag at his feet, thrned it upside down, tipped a dozen bits of splintered wood and twig onto the bed.

Harry's eyes glowed and the broom fixed itself.

Suddenly green glowing cracks appeared and it crumbled to dust.

Everybody left but Hermione.

As soon as everyone else left Harry threw up wards and Hermione handed him his prototype time turner.

"Perfect acting" Harry said.

Harry used his magic and the time turner to travel back in time. he appeared at the Quidditch match.

His past self hit him with fire and he consumed it strengthening his own magic.

Harry sent the shadow cut at his past self mixed with a killing curse.

It shattered the broom and his past self fell toward the ground.

He slowed down and hit the ground softly.

"I save children from Dark Wizards like you!" Dumbeldore said.

"Oh really Nihilus said, appearing behind him. What about your little sister? Nihilus disappeared.
