Luffy only managed to get away after a few days since he worried Makino. He would be more careful in the future. He left after telling her he would be camping in the woods for training. Makino, knowing how stubborn he is, just let him go, giving him some lunch to take with him.

After eating breakfast, Luffy made his way through , sadly skipping Dadan's house as it wasn't time yet to meet Ace. He ran through Grey Terminal and snuck his way through Edge Town and into Hight Town. He still remembered where Sabo lived, so Luffy traveled by rooftop to escape curious eyes. He found Sabo's house and knocked on the window. The window flew open and an arm reached out, arms immediately embracing him. Luffy started crying.

"Don't worry, no one is home right now, I got my parents to leave on a vacation and then I gave the servants the week off. You can stay here until then," Sabo said, hugging Lu tightly.

"Thank you, that sounds amazing. It's so hard being back, Sabo the dreams are the worst" murmured Luffy.

"Have you got in touch with anyone," he added

"I was waiting for you. And I know what you mean, I haven't been sleeping well either. I still can't believe we made it back. That lady, Toki, is a mysterious woman. It's too bad she couldn't send us far enough to save her and Oden. At least we can save Momo, his sister and the rest of Wano this time. I have nightmares about Kaido looming over you and Law. I thought for sure you two were done for" Sabo responded.

"I have similar dreams too. I dream Kaido kills Law first then me. Toka came right on time" exclaimed Luffy.

"It's Toki, Luf, but yeah to think she told us you were so important. Although she forgot why you were important, she only saved us because you asked. She only remembered she had to come save you at that specific time. Then she saw you and said you reminded her of someone named Joy Boy, someone significant but again she forgot why or who even Joy Boy was. Ugh, she was somewhat frustrating to deal with due to her memory loss to tell the truth but I guess with my own amnesiac experience I shouldn't complain too much," replied Sabo.

"Shishishi, ya, you definitely can't complain, ya forgetful bastard, shishishi" laughed Luffy.

"Ne, let's call Marco. I wanna check to see if he remembers too and if Law & Zoro checked in yet" Lu added.

"Hey Lu, of course they'll remember, I did, didn't I," Sabo said looking at Luffy carefully

"I know, but I still worry," Lu said frowning but then his energy picked up suddenly, "let's call, let's call, let's call," he said jumping up and down

"Hahahaha, ok, Luff, calm down, let me get snacks first, I know you're hungry, you probably ate whatever food Makino gave you already" Sabo said.

"SNACKS!," Luffy yelled as he ran right out the door and downstairs, almost bringing down the furniture on the wall, with his stomps reverberating down the steps. 'Thank Enel, I sent my parents away on a vacation, they were surprisingly amenable to the idea, must be because I'm actually behaving this time around,' thought Sabo.

"Oi, Luffy, wait," Sabo yelled after him. After a mountain of snacks and food was procured, they took it all back upstairs, Luffy practically jumping off the walls.

"I bought this special den den mushi, so our calls can't be traced, I bought one for you, Law, Zoro, and Marco for when we finally meet up. It's a good idea if all of us have personal den den mushis connected to us in case of emergencies, even if you and Zoro will be sailing together, Zoro has the tendency to get lost" mentioned Sabo.

"Yay, gimme, gimme and shishishishi hopefully Zoro doesn't lose it" said Luffy poking the snail, waking it from slumber, the snail already getting annoyed with him.

"Shishishi, look Sabo, it doesn't look too happy with me," laughed Lu. "Ah, luffy don't annoy them too much, they're known to stop working if they don't like their treatment," added Sabo, gently taking the phone, "I'll keep it for now." Luffy frowned in response but quickly brightened up, his mood swings giving Sabo whiplash.

"Ahh, Lu, never change little brother, even if your moods do change at the drop of a hat," Sabo said laughing. "Ok, let's call Marco."

"Puru-puru-puru, Hello this is Haruta, 12th division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, how can the Emperor of the Sea crush you today," someone answered

They had prepared for this very scenario, albeit quickly since Toki was on a time limit.

"Ah, hello, um, This is Sabo, Marco's younger brother, may I speak to him, please," asked Sabo somewhat nervously after such an unorthodox greeting.

Marco was the first to arrive in the past, wanting to completely eliminate the possibility of Teach ever joining the crew and get a head start on reversing the damage to Pop's health. So, when he joined the Whitebeards, over the years, he dropped hints of having four younger brothers. He was tight-lipped about them, not sharing too many details with Pops or the other commanders, something very unusual. Marco was considered to be very close to Pops and the other top commanders, Marco having been with Pops the longest, but even he still held some secrets from them. There were times, it even felt like he could predict the future but Marco never mentioned how he knew things before they happened. So when Sabo replied, Haruta almost dropped the phone in shock, despite learning about Marco's mysterious brothers the few times he mentioned them, this was the first time there was solid proof they existed, actually second, since another brother, Traf- something called a few days ago, surprising Blamenco who answered. 'So, thought Haruta, 'we have brothers that had never before called the ship, in the many years since Marco called it home, and now in less than a week, we get calls from two of them, hmm, something was definitely up and Haruta was on the case.

"Hmm, just to make sure, you mean Marco the Phoenix, right?" Haruta knew they were calling for him, surprisingly he was the only Marco on the ship, in a crew of hundreds but he still couldn't believe his ears and wanted to make sure.

"Ah, yes, I believe he is the first mate," Sabo answered, double checking the number he dialed.

"Of course, of course, one moment, please," Haruta calmly put the den den down and promptly went yelling down the hall, "Oi, Marcooooo, guess who's on the den den mushi for you?" yelled Haruta, everyone on the whole ship could hear him by this point.

Marco came flying down, he was on the other side of the ship and transformed mid conversation with Thatch to get to the communications room quickly.

"Oi, at least wait for me to get back too," yelled Haruta from the deck, there was a rush to head towards the snails but Marco promptly shut the door in his crewmates' faces.

"Marcoooo," whined Lu, "I missed you so much" who grabbed the snail from Sabo.

"Ah, Luffy and I'm sure Sabo is there too, thank Enel you made it, you'll be happy to note Law called a few days ago, he saved Cora, but they are both pretty weak from injuries and Law's sickness. I told him I could go get him but he wants to lay low for a few more weeks. He told me to tell you he misses you and Sabo and even the damned swordsman-his words, he's sorry he won't be able to talk to us for a while. But Doflamingo has been pretty active there, so it makes sense. I'm worried but knowing Law, he's 100 steps ahead. As for Zoro, he hasn't checked in yet but I have a feeling he won't until the Kuina thing is over. So calm down Luffy." Marco said before Lu could even ask.

"Hey, Marco, it's good to hear your voice," Sabo replied "Aww man, that meanie Traffy, and ahh you're probably right about Zoro, he can be so silly sometimes" Lu could be heard saying in the background.

Sabo continued, "So, what did you tell your crewmates about us, that Haruta commander was making all kinds of funny faces over the snail," he snickered

"Shishishi, yeah that was funny," chimed Luffy.

"Hahaha, I haven't told them much- actually, they are all wondering about my mysterious younger brothers~yoi," chuckled Marco

"In fact, they've been in an uproar ever since Law called, the first signs of life- many thought I made you all up, you've become a bit of urban legend-yoi, I'm afraid to say," snickered Marco

"Shishishishi, I can't wait to meet them, they sound like fun!" laughed Lu

"Hahahaha, yeah they sound like an interesting bunch," added Sabo

"But, not to kill the mood per se, but did ya manage to avoid the fat bastard?" Sabo murmured.

"Yeah. He tried to join several years ago, but I told Pops something felt off with him and thank Enel he listened. Fingers crossed he doesn't become a problem later on, I haven't heard much about him or his other alias but I'm keeping an eye out. At least, I saved Thatch for now but we never know if it might be one of those fixed event type things Toki mentioned before sending us back. She said the same to Zoro when he mentioned Kuina. I wonder what our stoic swordsman is up to?" Marco continued.

"Ahh, Zoro, did mention Kuina dying in a freak accident, but he told me he was prepared if she died again, he had already mourned her once, it would just be a continuation. It would be difficult to prevent such an accident, no matter how careful. But I'm still worried, regardless, he said to get him in a year but I might go a couple months earlier."

"That sounds like a good plan, Lu," Marco and Sabo said

"Meanwhile, I'll continue to act as the dutiful son of the Noble Outlook, my sperm donor has useful connections and money that can help us before we set out. But if they mention child marriage again, I'm out," declared Sabo

"Eh, I'm still iffy about that plan Sabo, you said your parents were abusive," Marco said

"Last time I was a little shit, but I've been acting the part and they listen to my advice from time to time. I convinced them to take a vacation and they went. Though I think I might be too good of an actor, Outlook likes to parade me in front of the other Nobles, it's horrible. But if I can help even a little with my connections it will be worth it. I'm gathering information for the Revolutionary Army, remember? I might not officially join them this time but the connection will still be useful, their information network is vast" concluded Sabo.

"I agree with Marco, you should just move out, maybe we can fake your death again or something" said Lu shrugging

"Hahaha, I appreciate the concern but I'll be ok, I'll definitely leave at the first sign of trouble, though," Sabo said warmly, thankful for his brothers, gaining 3 more, expanding his loving family. This connection is what I'm protecting thought Sabo.

"It's too bad our strength didn't travel back with us, we'll need to train triple, Sabo." added Luf.

"Ah, true, my body is so weak and I barely have time to train, I had to trick Outlook into hiring different combat teachers just so I could get some practice in, at least we still have some haki" Sabo said.

"Ah, yeah I had to adjust to the power difference too, but you'll get there, I'm much stronger this time around," Marco added encouragingly.

"I hate to cut this short, but any longer and they will start asking too many questions. Be sure to keep me updated, we can discuss long term plans once we can get in touch with everyone. Keep each other safe and call me if there are any emergencies. You know I'll fly out there no matter the distance. I'll call when I hear from Zoro or Law." Marco finished.

"Aww, man I wanted to keep talking longer but I do have a sleepover with Sabo to look forward to," said Lu squeezing Sabo tightly.

"Hahaha, that we do," said Sabo

"Ok Marco, talk to you soon, you make sure to call if you need to talk, no matter the time," he added.

"I'll keep that in mind-yoi, see ya" responded Marco. 'Clank' and the call ended. The brothers were relieved to talk to Marco and both awaited news from Law and Zoro.

Marco sat by himself for a few more minutes, trying to pull himself together. The eldest brother was overwhelmed with emotions for a few seconds before taking several deep breaths. The others were all he knew for several years while locked up in Wano, they protected each other and the others until only the five of them remained. He was extremely relieved to hear from his younger brothers after being all by himself in the past for so many years. He felt like a part of himself was whole once again. He was still worried about Law and especially Zoro since he hadn't heard from him yet, but he knew he would pull through no matter what. But he would still scold him for waiting so long to contact him.

A/N: So I looked up Toki while writing this chapter and I had already written her part in, which I liked, sooo while I know her fruit could only send her and others forward in time in a set location,in this AU she can do both with a twist since I don't want to create an older lu and young lu in the same timeline and maybe I'm thinking too hard about this lol but I don't want to create too many plot holes if any. Toki sends people's consciousness back or forward in time to any location so when the group travels back they each land in different locations instead of Wano. I guess it makes her kinda OP in this world but eh, she will be the only one ever with this ability, and the only other time travelers will be momo & co which is canon. But I guess this is an AU so it ultimately doesn't matter but I just wanted to put that in there.

The next chapter will be longer but I wanted to post this since the 1st chap was so short and it was more of a teaser. Please favorite, follow, and/or review, they keep me motivated :) Let me know what you think of the story so far :) I know Lu seems ooc but he will be more serious compared to canon because of the traumatic events he experienced so young that he never properly dealt with. I plan to explore their mental health in later chapters because not many stories delve into that part of the time-travel and kinda gloss over it but I think it'll be an interesting character study thing. Thank you !
