Well, here's another new story!
It's Paw Patrol!
I've seen the show with my siblings before, and I like it! It's a wonderful show! So, I've decided to write my own stories about it!
This will not be my only Paw Patrol story!
So I did a couple of polls for this story. As a result, the animals will be anthro. I have to admit, I was surprised at how many people wanted them to be anthro. It wasn't even close compared to the other options!
So far, Marshall, Sky, Rocky, Rubble, Zuma, Chase and Everest will be in the harem. If there's someone you want me to add to the harem, please let me know.
There are feral animals and anthros in this story's universe. They have been that way since the world was created.
This story will contain: adventure, romance, magic, transformations, harem, genderbending, and many more things!
I will probably do most, if not all, episodes, and the movie when it comes out. Which there are a lot of, by the way. I will reference episodes in chapters as well.
Disclaimer: I do not own Paw Patrol. Keith Chapman does.
Now, let's dive in!
Arrival and Moving In
It was rather quiet on the train as it chugged along through the storm, rain violently hitting it as it went. The engine itself was deep blue in color, with a yellow front, a window on each side towards the front, a large windshield at the very front, a silver rim that ran completely around the engine, a couple of train horns on the top, and multiple lights on the front, while its many passenger cars had deep blue roofs, pale yellow sides, deep blue doors on the ends, multiple rectangular windows on the sides, and a blue ladder on one side that led to the roof. The walls on the inside of the passenger cars were pale yellow as well, with the carpeted floor a deep red that matched the cushioned seats, which faced each other.
Inside one of the passenger cars sat a young man with light brownish blonde hair, lightly tanned skin, and bright blue eyes. He was wearing grey shorts, silver-grey sneakers, white socks, a black t-shirt with a picture of a fox on it, and leather necklace with a fox and cat made up of some sort of purple stone or gem as the centerpiece.
He let out a sigh as he did a puzzle on his phone, before it began vibrating as the screen changed to show that he was getting a phone call. He immediately smiled upon seeing who was calling him, and immediately accepted it.
"Hey Mom!" He said happily, holding the phone to his ear as he did so.
"Hey honey! How's the trip been?" His mother asked.
He sighed. "It's been alright," He said as he looked out at the storm. "It's pouring right now, slowing us down a bit. According to the conductor, we should be arriving at Adventure Bay in about half an hour." 'I'm still a bit surprised that the conductor is also the train engineer,' He thought as he heard his mom speak again.
"Alright. Do you have an umbrella with you?"
He nodded. "I do," He replied, glancing at the large white and blue umbrella on the seat across from him. "So, um, Mom, I was wondering? How did you end up getting a house way out here?"
"Oh, well, I was just passing through the area while on a business trip many years ago, and fell in love with Adventure Bay and the community. They're just so welcoming! So, I bought some land and had a house built there!"
"So, have you used it at all since you had it built?" He asked his mother. He heard her let out a deep sigh at that.
"No, I haven't. I've been too busy, what with raising you and business trips. And I haven't really had a reason to go there."
"I see," He replied with understanding. "So, what can you tell me about Adventure Bay?"
"Not much honey. I was only there for a couple days," She said. "All I can tell you is that the mayor is quite friendly, it's on a bay, hence its name, and there's a lovely restaurant called 'Porter's Café', if I remember correctly."
"Alright, anything else?" He asked her.
"That's all I remember son," She replied with a sigh. "Sorry I can't tell you more."
He shook his head upon hearing that. "It's alright Mom. Thanks for telling me what you know," He said. "Love you!"
"I love you too Gavin. I'll talk to you later."
"Alright. Bye Mom," he replied.
"Bye honey," She said before hanging up, prompting Gavin to return to his puzzle with a smile. He was happy to have spoken with his mother about the house, and he'd learned a couple of things as well.
'I wonder what Adventure Bay looks like, and if I'll have fun there,' He thought as he moved another piece to the correct position. 'Mom never got around to show me photos or give me a description besides what she just told me. Said it would make it more memorable if she kept it a surprise.' He then put the last piece of the puzzle in place, causing the game to congratulate him, making him smile as he backed out of the game and pulled out his headphones. "I hope I like it," He stated as he connected them to his phone and began to listen to some music.
30 minutes later…
He felt the train come to a stop, prompting him to turn off his music and look out the window with curiosity, with him noticing the rain had stopped. He saw that they had come to a stop at a beautiful one-story train station that was made of brown bricks with several windows on the sides, a purple roof with a white stripe running through the middle of it that stuck out at the top of the building, multiple white and red pillars that held up the roof, glass ceilings with gold-colored metal supports running through them that connected to the smaller white and red square structure on each side, a blue and white image of a gold tower on the end of the glass ceiling on top of the square structure, a large bronze clock that was on the end of the ceiling facing the tracks, and a large wooden platform with a ramp on it that was attached to the road.
"We have now arrived at Adventure Bay. Please enjoy your visit," He heard the engineer say, prompting him to grab his green backpack, red and black duffel bag, and umbrella before standing up. The door then opened, prompting him to step out onto the platform.
"Thank you for riding Adventure Bay Railways, and welcome to Adventure Bay," The engineer/conductor said with a smile. He was a somewhat short man, standing 5 foot 10 inches tall, with tan skin, blackish-brown hair, brown eyes, and long sideburns. He was wearing blue overalls covering a white shirt, a red neckerchief, a blue striped railroad engineer hat, black shoes with square brass buckles, and blue gloves.
"Thank you good sir," Gavin replied with a smile, before he then noticed a small kiosk with a sign that read "Town Map" on it, and quickly walked over to it. He quickly took one and opened it up, showing him the layout of the town.
Adventure Bay certainly lived up to its name, as most of the town was quite close to the bay. He saw that parts of the town were further off, with the town's ski and snowboarding resort being on a nearby white mountain that, when he looked in the direction the map indicated it was in, was quite visible from where he was. An island called Seal Island was also part of the town, and was located a decent distance out from the city in the bay. There was also a farm located right on the outskirts of town.
He studied the map for several minutes, trying to figure out where exactly his house was. He'd assumed it was in a neighborhood, but to his surprise, saw that Lookout Drive was not in one at all. Instead, it was at the other end of town from where he currently was, with it starting at a bridge that went over the bay and ending at a building on the peninsula that was called "The Lookout."
From what little the map told him about the Lookout, it was a residential tower that was the home of the Paw Patrol, which he hadn't heard of at all. "The Paw Patrol are a local rescue team for the town," He then read. "Huh, that's a really cool name for a team," He said as he began walking down the sidewalk, glancing at the map as he walked, wanting to make sure he was going the right direction.
He quickly passed by a building the map identified as City Hall, which was a tall two-story building made of tan stones, with white pillars surrounding the building and supporting the two green roofs, one at the top of each story. A green bell tower was at the very top, with a large bell with a pull rope hanging down, while a white clock sat in front of the tower. A large golden statue of a man with a mustache, top hat, walking cane, and wearing a tuxedo sat in front of the building in a large stone courtyard, while multiple trees and flowers surrounded the building and the courtyard, which was connect to the sidewalk by several concrete paths. On top of the bell tower was a large orange flag, and present on it were four green hills protruding from water, a lighthouse on one of them, and a purple whale in the foreground, all in front of a large sunset.
Although he was curious to know who the man was, he decided to head to his new home first before doing any exploring and moved on.
Fifteen minutes later…
"Finally," He said with relief as he stared at the large suspension bridge before him, which was blue in color and had the words "Lookout Drive" painted on a green sign set next to the bridge. "I found it."
He then crossed the bridge, which took a few minutes to do due to its length, before looking at the slope before him. The road continued onwards, curving this way and that as it crawled up the slope. He saw that a large house sat at the top of the slope, and smiled. "I think that's the house," he said as he began walking up the road to it.
A few more minutes went by, before he reached the top of the slope and the house. Upon reaching the top, he saw that the road eventually looped around a large, towering building he assumed was the Lookout and back onto itself. The building was about 250 feet away from his house, and was located on top of another slope.
The Lookout appeared to be around 70 feet tall, with it in the faint shape of a lighthouse. Most of the tower had large glass panes for its sides, but some stone and concrete slabs were scattered among the glass panes except for the front, which was only glass. Four concrete rectangular pillars with wide bases separated the glass sides from each other, and had red paint on the wide bases, with a small stripe of yellow on top of the red. The front doors were large and square in shape, with it being light and dark blue in color, with several glass panes in it, as well as silver plates that were located at the center of the doorway. On the front of the tower, a large shield that was red in color with silver edges and a white paw print on it hung in place. The top of the tower was disk shaped, with flat edges, a light blue bottom with yellow on the top and dark blue on the very bottom, a light blue railing all around it, glass walls with blue glass doors exactly like the front doors, a red roof, and a yellow tube that stuck out of the middle of the red roof and was bent like a straw, with a large glass lense at the end. A long gray and yellow striped slide stuck out of the bottom and wrapped around the tower a couple times, passing over and under the Paw sign before it ended at the bottom about 15 feet above the ground and over one of the six vehicles parked around the tower in a circle, which were parked on concrete slabs separated by plots of grass.
He saw the following six vehicles there: a somewhat small blue police car with a solid black top that had a couple red lights on the front, white and yellow stripes on the sides with a blue and yellow police badge on it with the numbers "02" next to it in yellow, a black grill with a white paw print on it, a silver bone-shaped winch below the grill, headlights, and the numbers "02" that were yellow and surrounded by the ends of a bone were below the headlights and above where the front wheels should be next to a small police badge; a somewhat small silver camper with pink highlights, a purple and white stripe on either side with the numbers "04" in pink and a pink and white badge with a propellor on it, a purple stripe making an L-shape towards the front on each side, a larger version of the propellor symbol above the purple lines, and a metal front with the propellor symbol on it and no door anywhere on the camper; a somewhat small orange and black raft of some kind with white and blue stripes on the sides and top of the front, a blue, orange, and white anchor symbol on the sides as well as on the side of the thick black bottom of the raft, a white anchor symbol and the numbers "07" on the front surrounded by the ends of a bone, and a silver top over a large part of the raft; a green truck with orange and blue pallet loaders, a gray top that looked like a tin roof, a gray grill and bumper with the paw symbol above it, an orange stripe on either side of the truck by a small vent, an orange and white recycling symbol on the end of the stripe, headlights with the numbers "05" in orange and surrounded by the ends of bone below them, and a white version of the exact same numbers on the stripe next to the recycle symbol; a yellow box with a black line on it that made a large L-shape at the front, large metal arms with caution stripes on them that were attached to what appeared to be the front of the box by large bolts, orange caution stripes at the top of the box, a few more bolts on the front of the box, an orange metal plate on either side that had a black dog bone outlined by yellow and had a wrench symbol on it in yellow and black, and the numbers "06" in black next to the symbol; a red firetruck with a silver roof, a gray grill with the paw symbol at the top of it, a white stripe on either side with a yellowish-white fire symbol on it, the numbers "03" in white and with the ends of bones on the ends that were located between the front headlights on each side and on the sides by the front of the stripe, a siren and horn located on the front bumper, and a silver bumper on the back.
None of them had their wheels on or any other visible lights though, so he was curious as to how exactly they worked. He also suspected that some of the things might not be what they appeared to be, such as the camper and box.
One other thing he noticed was that an alcove was cut into the slope the Lookout stood atop, and a large set of silver doors set in a light blue frame sat at the end of it, with the road leading to it as well.
"So, that's the Lookout," He said as he stared at it with some surprise. "I'm going to be honest, it looks pretty cool." He stared at it for a few more seconds, admiring its design, before turning his attention to his new house.
The house was quite large, and was made of light brown bricks, was two-stories tall, had a gray shingled roof, a small flowerbed at the front bordered by a concrete walkway, a large white garage door, a brown front door, a somewhat small brick front porch with a blue rocking chair, and a blue mailbox at the end of the driveway with the numbers "148" on the side.
Overall it was very beautiful.
"This looks very nice," he said as he began walking up the driveway towards the front door, unaware that he was being watched by a couple pairs of eyes from the Lookout. He soon reached the door, and reached into his pocket, pulling out a key from his pocket that had the numbers "148" inscribed on them.
He then inserted it into the lock and twisted the key, unlocking the door. As he stepped into his new home and shut the door behind him, the eyes widened a bit, before disappearing.
The hallway he stood in was rather large with wooden floors, and there was a coat rack on the right wall right next to a flight of stairs that led up to the second floor. Various paintings lined the wall all the way up the stairs, while a broom closet door could be seen that led underneath the stairs. On the left was an entrance to another room, as well as a small alcove with a valuable crystal statue of a fox in it and a chest that, upon opening it, was full of his jackets, umbrellas, and hats. He then entered the room to the left, and found that it had been set up as a game room, with tan walls, a ceiling fan, a large red couch, two bookshelves filled with video games, and a large entertainment system with multiple consoles on it along with a large flatscreen tv.
"Wow, this matches how my setup was back home!" He said with surprise as he looked at the room for several seconds, before he then walked out and went further down the hall, which quickly opened up into a large living room, with a large flatscreen tv, DVD player, VHS player, an entertainment center filled with all kinds of movies and video games, a blue recliner, two ceiling fans, one large brown couch, one brown loveseat, paintings on the cream walls, a few potted house plants, a bookshelf filled with books against one wall, a stack of puzzles next to the bookshelf, a coffee table in the middle of the room, a few small end tables with lamps on them, and multiple couch pillows. "Alright, that looks good." On the back wall were two brown doors that lead to a back porch, which intrigued him, but he decided to look at that last.
He then noticed a doorway leading to what appeared to be the kitchen. The kitchen was somewhat large, with several wooden cabinets, a large white refrigerator, a black stove/oven, a white dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, a sink, a doorway leading to a pantry a garbage can, a large counter with several tall chairs pulled up to it, cream-colored walls, and a hardwood floor. "This is a great kitchen. I can already see myself using it," He said as he looked at the stove and fridge. He then walked over to the dining room, which was attached to both the kitchen and living room and saw that a small wooden table with four chairs was sitting in it, with nice curtains at the tops of the windows, while a china cabinet sat against a wall, filled with valuable china.
"Okay, so what's that room then?" He asked himself upon seeing a doorway behind the kitchen. He pushed the door open and turned on the light, revealing that the room he was now in was a laundry room. There was a new dryer and washer, along with a glass cabinet filled with cleaning supplies, and a large closet that he found was filled with art supplies and more cleaning supplies. "Ah. Laundry room," He simply stated, before noticing the door at the end of the room.
"Now where does this lead to?" He asked as he walked over and opened the door, revealing that it led to the large garage, which had a freezer and spare refrigerator in it, as well as a trapdoor to the attic. Opening up the attic and going into it, he found that nothing was in it, which pleased him. "Okay then, so where's the master bedroom," He asked himself as he shut the attic, walked out, and locked the garage door before leaving the laundry room. Reentering the living room, he saw another doorway located a few feet away from the back door, and walked into it, finding himself in a short hallway that ended at a white door.
Upon opening it, he stepped inside to examine the room. It had cream colored walls, brown carpet, and a ceiling fan. Two nightstands stood on either side of a king-sized bed, with green sheets, an animal-themed blanket, and two pillows on it, while a few windows dotted the walls. An alarm clock stood on one nightstand, while a lamp stood on the other. Another bookshelf was in the room as well, filled to the brim with books, while posters of animals and some video games were hung on the walls. A tv stood against the wall on a small table across from the foot of the bed, while a small garbage can sat in the corner next to the bedroom door. The corner of the left and back walls was now covered in soundproof tiles, while a keyboard, table, microphone, guitar, camera, and other sound equipment sat in the corner, the nearby windows covered by animal-themed curtains his mother had made for him. A wardrobe stood against one wall, next to a door, while a desk sat on the other side. He went over to the door and opened it, revealing that it was a small closet full of his clothes. He shut the door and went over to the wardrobe, pulling open drawers to reveal their contents. They were also filled with his clothes. He closed the drawers, and then noticed one final door in the room. He walked over to it and opened it, revealing a bathroom.
He went inside it, and examined it as well. Two sinks sat in front of a large mirror, with cabinets built underneath them. There was a toilet with its own door for privacy, and a closet full of his towels. A shower that could fit seven people and a bathtub that could fit six were also in there.
Pleased with what he had seen, he left the bathroom, before he then noticed that there was still a large empty space occupied only by a window on the left wall between the bedroom door and the soundproof tiles and shrugged. "Oh well, can't use everything I guess," He said as he walked over to the desk and picked up a picture frame that had been set there by the movers.
The photo was of him when he was about 11 and an older woman who stood about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with tanned skin, bright green eyes, a warm smile, and shoulder-length black hair with a couple gray streaks in it.
"Thanks mom," He said as he looked at the photo of him and his adoptive mother. "Thanks for everything." He then set his things down on the bed before leaving the room, wanting to get a look at the upstairs and outside.
He quickly walked up the stairs, and found that there was a smaller bathroom upstairs and a door leading to the attic, along with two more bedrooms, which already had fresh sheets on the mattresses, dressers, closets, nightstands, lamps, and wardrobes. Satisfied that he had seen all the upstairs had to offer, he went downstairs and out back to see what it was like.
The back porch was somewhat small, with a small outdoor table and four outdoor chairs sitting on the concrete pad that was the porch. No fences held in the backyard at all. Based on what his mother had told him, the backyard reached a decent amount into the woods. He also saw that a brick outdoor grill had been built, as well as a fire pit and some picnic tables.
He then noticed a large shed off to one side and somewhat close to the edge of the wood, and walked over, curious to see what was inside it. Opening it, he found that there was a riding lawnmower, a weed eater, and other landscaping tools to use to keep the lawn nice and neat, as well as a hammock and camping equipment.
He then shut the shed, and walked back into the house with a large smile. "This house is perfect," He said happily as he looked around at it. "Now, let's see if the pantry's fu-"
*DingDong!*
He looked at the front door with a surprised look on his face, not expecting to have heard the doorbell be rung so soon after he got to the house. "Who in the world could that be?" He asked as he walked up to the door and unlocked it. He then slowly opened the door, and saw that several people were on his front porch.
"Hi! My name's Skye, and me and my friends here would like to welcome you to Adventure Bay!" A 21-year-old anthro female cockapoo said with a perky voice and a warm smile. She stood 5 feet 2 inches tall, had a very curvaceous figure, DD-cup breasts, a narrow waist, wide hips, a somewhat small ass, and had golden-brown/orange fur on her shaggy ears, tail, fluff on her head, and circles around her pink eyes. Her legs and snout were a cream color, while the rest of her body that he could see was golden-brown, and her nose and eyebrows were brown as well.
She was wearing a pink short-sleeve shirt with a couple of airplanes flying on it, pink shorts with white edges, pink sneakers with white socks, and a white bracelet with a small pink shield-shaped tag that had the propellor symbol that he had seen on the silver camper by the Lookout.
He was surprised by this, but managed to respond quickly. "Um, thank you," He replied. "My name's Gavin, and it's nice to meet you. Would you like to come in?"
"Yes please!" Skye answered with a smile, prompting you to step to the side, allowing her to come inside.
The next person to come inside was a 19-year-old female anthro chocolate Labrador Retriever who stood 5 ft 10 inches tall, had a very curvaceous and moderately muscular figure, FF-cup breasts, a somewhat narrow waist, wide hips, a large ass, floppy ears, a long tail, greenish-orange eyes, and a brown nose with matching eyebrows. She was wearing an orange tank top with a surfboard on it, orange boardshorts with some white flowers on them, orange and black flip-flops, and a dark blue bracelet with a tag that's orange with a silver anchor symbol that matched the one on that orange raft.
"What's up dude. Name's Zuma," The Labrador said with a smile and a laid-back tone, offering him a fist-bump.
"Nice to meet you Zuma," He replied, fist-bumping her back before she continued on inside.
Following her was a 20-year-old female anthro mutt with gray fur, white furred hands, a white tip on her long tail, and white tips on the fur tufts on her face, along with a darker gray circle around her left eye. She had a floppy right ear, a nick on her left ear, a black nose and matching eyebrows, orange-ish brown eyes, and a small spiky tuft of fur on the top of her head. She stood 5 ft 9 inches tall, and was pretty curvaceous, with GG-cup breasts and a second pair of FF-cup breasts below them, a narrow waist, wide hips, and a medium-sized ass.
She was wearing a green shirt with a diagram on it showing what different things, when recycled, were used for, green cargo shorts, green and white sneakers that appeared to be a bit old but in good condition, and an orange bracelet with a tag that's green with a silver recycling symbol matching the one on the green truck parked by the Lookout.
"The name's Reggie. It's nice to meet you and I hope you grow to enjoy Adventure Bay," She said, holding out a hand for him to shake, which he happily did.
"Nice to meet you Reggie, and I think I will enjoy being here," he replied with a smile, which made her smile grow a little before she walked in after the others.
The next person was an 18-year-old female anthro English bulldog with white fur covering most of her face and brown fur covering the rest of her body. She had white fur on her hands, bright brown eyes, a couple fangs sticking out of her lips from her lower jaw, a brown nose and matching eyebrows, and a tiny tail that could barely be seen. She stood 5 ft 4 inches tall and was a bit on the chubby side. She had large HH-cup breasts, a wide waist, wide hips, and a large ass.
She was wearing a yellow shirt with some construction vehicles on it, denim shorts that had some dirt on them and hugged her large ass, yellow socks with the image of a dog wearing a cape and mask on them, yellow and silver sneakers, and a black bracelet with a tag that's yellow with a silver wrench symbol matching the one he saw on the yellow box by the Lookout.
"Hi! I'm Marble! It's nice to meet you!" She said with a happy tone and a large smile, sticking out a hand as she spoke. "I hope we can eventually become good friends."
He smiled, and shook her outstretched hand as he said, "It's nice to meet you as well Marble, and I'd like to be friends."
"Really?!" She asked, her smile growing larger upon hearing that.
"Yeah," He replied as he let go of her hand. "It'd be nice to have some friends in a place I've never been to."
"Yay!" She exclaimed happily, jumping up and down a bit, before giving him a quick hug, much to his surprise. She then let go of him and happily walked inside.
'Wow, she's really friendly and sweet,' He thought as he watched her walk away for a couple seconds, before turning to greet the next person.
The next person was a 20-year-old female anthro Dalmatian with floppy ears, a black nose, a long tail, and bright blue eyes. She stood 5 ft 7 inches tall and had a very curvaceous figure, with GG-cup breasts, a narrow waist, wide hips, and a large ass.
She was wearing a red shirt with an image of Smoky Bear with his signature phrase "Only You can prevent forest fires" on it, red shorts, red socks with flames on them, red sneakers with yellow shoelaces and white soles, and a yellow bracelet with a tag that's red with a yellow and orange fire symbol matching the firetruck parked by the Lookout.
As she took a step inside, her foot caught on the door sill, causing her to fall forward with an "OOF!"
"Are you alright ma'am?" He asked her, offering her a hand to help her up if necessary.
"Yeah, I'm okay," She replied, taking his offered hand. "My name's Marsha."
"That's a very nice name," He said, making her smile at that. "But are you sure you're okay?"
"Yeah, I am. Thanks for asking," She answered reassuringly, before stepping inside and rejoining her friends. He watched her for several seconds to make sure she didn't trip again, before He then turned to the next person, who had a large smile on their face as they walked forward, having seen what he did for Marsha.
The person was a 21-year-old female anthro German Shepherd with brown fur covering what he could see of her body, with lighter brown/tan fur on her face and on her hands. She had a long tail and brown eyes. She stood 6 feet tall, had GG-cup breasts, a somewhat narrow waist, wide hips, and a large ass.
She was wearing a light blue shirt with a police car on it with the words "Obey the Law!" under it in bright red and white letters, blue jean shorts, blue socks with police sirens on them, blue sneakers with white soles and red shoelaces, and a black bracelet with a blue tag that had a yellow star badge on it matching the police car he'd seen by the Lookout.
"Um, hello," He said, holding out a hand for her to shake. "The name's Gavin."
"My name's Siren," The German Shepherd replied in a mature, happy tone as she took his hand and firmly shook it for a few seconds. "Welcome to the neighborhood!"
"Thanks Siren," Gavin answered. "I'll be honest, I didn't expect anyone to come greet me so quickly after I moved in. How did you know I was home?"
Upon saying that, he heard a chuckle come from behind her, followed by a young boy's voice saying "That's because Skye's been keeping an eye on the house ever since the movers were bringing things into it."
"Ryder!" Skye exclaimed, blushing with embarrassment as the other dogs chuckled, with Siren stepping inside so he could see Ryder.
Ryder was a 4-foot 7 inch tall 10-year-old boy with fair skin, gelled up spiky dark brown hair, and brown eyes. He was wearing a red, white, yellow, and blue vest with the same paw print symbol that he had seen on the Lookout, a white long-sleeved shirt underneath the vest, blue jeans, and blue and white shoes.
"Hello, my name's Ryder, and me and the Paw Patrol would like to welcome you to Adventure Bay!" Ryder stated as he walked up to Gavin and offered his hand, which Gavin happily shook.
"So you guys are the Paw Patrol?" He asked as he shut the door after Ryder came inside. "That's cool. Who's the leader of the group?" He continued as he looked at them. "Is it Siren?" He asked as he looked at the German Shepherd.
"Nope! She's second in command!" Skye replied while Siren shook her head in response his question.
"Then, is it Reggie?" He asked as he turned his gaze to the mutt.
"Sorry, but I'm not the leader either Gavin," Reggie answered, before Ryder let out another chuckle.
"I'm the leader of the Paw Patrol," Ryder said, causing Gavin to arch an eyebrow in surprise. "I know, I know, it's surprising that a ten-year-old is leading a bunch of older people in a rescue team. But I assure you, I know what I'm doing."
Gavin was silent for several seconds as he digested what he had just learned before saying "You've had to explain this to a lot of people haven't you."
Ryder chuckled at that. "Yeah, I have," He replied. "It can be a bit bothersome at times."
"I'm sure it can," Gavin said, before he began walking past them to the living room. "Let's talk some more in the living room. I'm sure you're curious about me, and have several questions."
"I sure do!" Skye exclaimed with excitement as she followed him into the living room, while some of the other dogs and Ryder chuckled at her excitement as they followed.
"Well then, hopefully my answers will satisfy your curiosity," He replied as he took a seat in his recliner and gestured for the PAW Patrol to take a seat.
Once they were all seated, he said, "Alright. So, what would you like to know?"
"I'll go first!" Skye said excitedly, pulling out a notepad and pen, much to his surprise. "So, how old are you, and what's your full name?"
"I'm 17," He answered as he thought 'Wow. She really came prepared.' "And my full name is Gavin William Woodring Hoffius."
"That's a long name," Skye stated with some surprise as she wrote down his answers, before her eyes widened with realization. "Wait, are you related to Linda Hoffius?" She asked him. "The multi-billionaire businesswoman and author Linda Hoffius?"
"I am," He replied with a nod, causing their eyes to widen in shock. "Yes, I am rich. But please, just treat me like a regular person."
"I've heard Hoffius has many estates. Which one are you from-I mean, which one did you spend the most time at, rather?" Reggie asked him with curiosity.
"That'd be Chison City," He said.
"Isn't that super far from here?" Marble asked him, prompting him to nod.
"Somewhat," He replied. "I had to fly on two different planes for two days, and then rode the train here for about 6 hours."
"That's a long time to ride on the train by yourself," Marble said. "How'd you keep from getting bored?"
"Oh, I listened to music and played games on my phone," He replied. "So, What's your next question?"
"What bwought you to Adventure Bay?" Zuma asked him.
"My mom," He answered, confusing them. Upon seeing their confused looks, he said, "Let me explain. You see, since my mom, Linda Hoffius, is a multi-billionaire businesswoman and author, she goes on several business trips a year. Ten years ago, one of her trips brought her through the area, and after staying her for a few days, fell in love with the area, and had this house built here. She never got to use it though, since her business trips never again brought her to the area, and right before the house was completed, she adopted me. Fast forward to about five months ago, and she comes up to me one day, telling me that she doesn't want me to be lazy, and is sending me off to this house, which I didn't even know existed till then, to do something with my life."
"So, you have any idea what you want to do here?" Marsha asked him with curiosity.
Gavin shrugged at that. "Not really," He replied. "I mean, I did just get here today, so I have no idea what all's in town."
"Well, maybe Mayor Goodway could help you figure out what you can do here," Skye suggested. "So, what are your hobbies?" She asked, changing the subject.
"Oh, I like to do jigsaw puzzles, listen to music, swim, read, watch tv, and play video games," He replied.
"What kind of video games?" Marble asked with curiosity.
"Mostly strategy games like Supreme Commander 1 and 2, but I do have the latest edition of Just Dance," Gavin replied, causing Skye to smile widely and let out a squeal of excitement.
"You have the latest Just Dance game?! How is it?!" Skye asked him eagerly.
"Pretty good," He answered with a chuckle, finding her excitement about the game to be rather cute. He then felt his stomach rumble, reminding him he hadn't eaten for a while. "That's all I'll say. You'll have to play the game to find out more."
"Aww!" Skye whined, sad she wouldn't get to learn more about the game from him.
"Don't be sad. I'll loan you the game so you can play it," He replied with a smile as he got out of his recliner and went over to the entertainment center. He looked at the video games for a few seconds, before pulling out the one he was looking for. With the game in hand, he walked back over to the group and held the game out to Skye. "Here you go!"
Sky gasped upon seeing the new Just Dance game before her.
"Ohhh thank you thank you thank you!" She replied as she jumped up and wrapped her arms around him in a hug, stunning him.
"You're, uh, welcome," He said as she let go of him and took the game from him before sitting down. "So, any other questions?"
"Umm, not really," Marsha replied with a shake of her head.
"Nothing else comes to mind at the moment," Zuma added.
"Well then, I guess I'll talk with you guys more later," Gavin said with a smile as his stomach rumbled with hunger once more. "I need to start cooking myself some dinner."
"Alright," Ryder replied as he and the rest of the Paw Patrol got up from their seats. As soon as they did so, Marble's stomach let out a loud growl, making her blush.
"Yeah, I'm feeling pretty hungry myself," She said as her stomach growled yet again.
"Marble, you're always hungry," Reggie replied, causing her to blush with embarrassment.
"You know what I mean," Marble said to her before turning her attention to Gavin again. "Thanks, Gavin, for letting us get to know you a bit better."
"You're welcome Marble," Gavin replied with a smile. "It was nice to meet you all and tell you a bit about myself."
"It was nice to meet you too," Zuma said, the others saying similar things as he led them to the front door.
As he opened the door and they began to walk out, Ryder turned to him once more. "Thank you again for letting us meet you and get to know you better," He said with a smile. "And welcome to Adventure Bay."
"You're welcome Ryder," Gavin said as he watched Ryder and the group walk away from his house towards the Lookout. "And thank you." He then shut the door and locked it, before heading to the kitchen as his stomach growled again. 'Alright, what to eat, what to eat,' he thought as he opened the freezer and began looking for something to eat that night.
After a couple minutes of deliberation, he grabbed a frozen pepperoni pizza and closed the freezer, before turning on the oven. After a couple minutes had passed, he put the pizza in and set the timer for 25 minutes, before heading to the bathroom to shower.
As he showered, he couldn't help but think about the Paw Patrol. 'What an interesting group,' He thought as he scrubbed his hair. 'And led by a child, no less. Quite surprising.'
Eventually, he finished showering, and after drying himself off, put on some green boxers and a light blue sleeveless t-shirt. He then went to the kitchen, and, as he waited for his pizza to finish cooking, texted his mother.
"Hey mom. I love the house. Just getting ready to eat dinner. Love you."
A few minutes went by before she texted him back. The text read "Love you too! Glad you like the house. Hope you enjoy the town! "
He smiled at that, and as he put his phone away, the oven timer went off, telling him it was time to eat his pizza. He turned the timer off, and opened the oven, before pulling out the pizza and setting it on the counter while wearing some red oven mitts. He then waited a couple minutes for it to cool before cutting it with a pizza cutter and dishing himself a couple slices.
After dishing himself, he sat on the couch and began watching some tv, changing the channel till it was on Discovery Channel. He then began to eat, getting up to get a new slice whenever he finished eating what was on his plate until, thirty minutes later, there was no more pizza and he was full.
"Man that was good," He said as he turned off the tv and walked over to the kitchen. He then started washing the dishes, and set them in the nearby dish rack to dry when he was done, before heading to his room, making sure to turn off the lights before doing so.
Upon entering his room, he got into his bed and plugged in his phone, setting on the nightstand next to the bed before turning on the tv.
After watching tv for a couple hours, he checked the time on the tv, and saw that it was almost 10:00 P.M. "Time to go to bed," He said to himself as he turned off the tv and took off his necklace, setting it next to his phone on the nightstand before laying down.
As he lay there and closed his eyes he said, "I wonder what I'll discover about Adventure Bay tomorrow?"
He then fell asleep, completely unaware that there was someone else in the room.
Standing at the foot of Gavin's bed was an invisible woman made of light and wearing a white robe, while a veil covered all of her face except for her mouth. She walked over to where his head was and smiled a warm smile, before she spoke. "Soon you will remember that which you have lost," She said, her voice sounding somewhat angelic. She then reached out and touched him on the chest as she continued speaking. "And now, it is time for your abilities to start to awaken." A large multicolored orb slowly floated out of her and over her arm till it reached his chest, before it sank in. She then took her arm away, before her gaze turned to his necklace. She gently touched it, causing it to glow for several seconds before she removed her hand, her smile growing a bit as she said, "It is finished." She looked at him for a few more seconds, before she turned away and began walking towards the end of the bed.
She looked at him one more time as she reached the end of the bed, and said, "We will meet again Gavin." She then snapped her fingers and disappeared, leaving no trace she had ever been there.
Well this was an interesting chapter!
Can't wait to write more!
Thanks to Weegee1 for help with the Paw Patrol anthro designs, and PyroFox117 for their help in general!
Should I make Cali the cat in the show anthro or keep her feral? She's owned by a character who will show up in the next chapter. I'm leaning towards keeping her feral, but what you guys want?
I will be on hiatus from May 15th to August 20th. I will leave my pm box open to messages, but will not check them till I get back.
This is PuzzleMaster1998 here, signing off!
