Author's note: Hey, guys! Sorry it took a while again. I went on a little trip and didn't have any wi-fi. But here's chapter 4 for you guys!

Tomorrow was Emma's last full day in Storybrooke. Soon, she would take the old yellow beetle up to Henry's camp, and then it was back home to New York. She and Regina had had the best days together: romantic date nights, a movie at the drive in, walks hand-in-hand at the park, and best of all, getting to know each other. It was starting to feel less like a fling and more like, well, love. They had both agreed that they wouldn't fall, but they had. Not that either woman would admit it to the other. Emma was scared that if she said something to Regina, the Mayor would quit her job and come back to the City with them. Deep down, Emma knew that that's what she wanted, but there were so many what ifs. What if Regina couldn't find a job? What if Henry didn't like her? What if their relationship didn't work out? Emma's mind raced. Regina was having a similar battle with herself. What if Emma and Henry move up here? What if they regret it? What if Emma can't find work? What if Henry is annoying and messy? What if their relationship doesn't work out? she thought to herself.

Both women knew that the relationship would work out. It had to. The love they felt for each other was unlike any they'd felt before. Regina felt safe with Emma, she knew that the blonde would always protect and love her. And Emma knew that she could be vulnerable around Regina, in a way she could never be around any of her foster parents or exes. The biggest question mark was Henry. He loved his life with Emma in New York, and neither woman wanted to uproot him out of the blue.

But for now, Emma and Regina lay on "I'm really going to miss you," Regina said, her eyes welling up for the 8th time that day. "I know, baby," Emma responded, putting her arm around the brunette. "I'm gonna miss you, too. So much,"

"This whole 'fling' thing didn't really go as we planned, did it," Regina sniffed.

"No, it didn't. And I promised myself I wasn't going to say this, but I think… I love you," Emma whispered.

"What? No, no, no, you can't say that! Emma, you can't just tell me that now! What are you thinking? I've been avoiding telling you that for the past 3 days, and do you know why? Because it's going to be too hard when you leave. I've NEVER loved someone this much, but I can't tell you that because you're leaving! In two days! And I'm never going to see you again and I'm going to spend the rest of my life alone because I know that nobody can compare to you." And with that, the Mayor stormed out.

Emma had tried calling Regina 16 times. She'd left 13 voice mails, 29 texts, and even a letter in Regina's mailbox, but nothing. Finally, 20 long hours after their fight, the Mayor sent Emma a text. I'm sorry. I overreacted. Meet me at the park in 20 minutes, it read. Emma jumped up, pulled on her jeans, grabbed her red jacket, and left the hotel room. It was a short walk to the park and there, by a bench near the pond, stood the mayor. Emma jogged over, heart racing, and embraced Regina. She felt the brunette relax into the hug, and heard Regina's sniffs and laughs. "I was so worried you'd be angry. I'm so sorry I said those things, they weren't true," Regina said. Emma felt tears fall down her face. "I'm just so scared. You're leaving, and I've gotten so used to you. You are my favorite person in the world, and the idea of you not being here, it's just… overwhelming. I'm scared and upset and I took it out on you, which was not okay. I love you, I love you, so much," Regina told her, kissing the tears off of Emma's face.

"I… I don't want to leave," Emma said with big eyes, sitting on the bench. "I want to stay here. I want Henry to go to that adorable little school, I want to work with the police department, and most of all I want to be with you. And you'll love Henry, I know it," Emma told her. And somehow, those words made all of Regina's doubts disappear. "I love it in New York, but Regina… I'd follow you to the ends of the Earth."

"Oh, my love. My baby, I love you. I love that. I want you to live with me, if that's what you want. We can make up a room for Henry, I know you'll both be so happy here. I'm sure I can get you a job as a deputy at least, or maybe even Sheriff. I do hate that Graham," Regina laughed. "You want me to live in your mansion? Me and Henry? I've gotta warn you, our video game championship can get pretty loud. We're very competitive. But seriously, I'd love that. So much."

"Well, then, it's settled. And don't worry about the video games, you aren't the only ones who'll be a little loud sometimes," Regina said seductively.

"Henry had better make some friends here soon so we can send him to sleepovers whenever we need some, well, alone time," Emma giggled. "I'll pick him up from camp tomorrow and we'll stay another night here so he can get to know you and the town a little bit. I'll tell him everything in the car. Then we'll go back to New York for a few days so I can quit my job, pull him out of that school, and we can pack up all of our stuff. I'll have to let my landlord know, too. I'll see if I can get a U-Haul or something. Then we'll come back here, move in, get Henry enrolled in school, I'll find a job, and we'll be all set. The three of us will have a life. Together."

"You're sure you want to go pick him up alone? I'm happy to join you if you want some company," Regina offered. "No, thanks, babe. I think it's best he hears all this from me. Plus, he'd be weirded out if I picked him up and some random lady was sitting in the passenger seat! I'll only be gone for a couple of hours. See you soon, Madame Mayor. I love you," Emma kissed her sweetly. "Love you, too. Drive safe!" Regina called as the blond hopped into her yellow bug. "Or drive as well as you can in that deathtrap," the mayor muttered as she headed back towards her house.

"Mom!" Henry called from across the field. He grabbed his duffel bag and ran towards Emma, straight into a hug. "Oof! Jeez, Henry, did you miss me or something?" Emma joked. "So much! I had an amazing time, though, and I met a bunch of people who live in Storybrooke! It sucks that we don't live closer to them, there were so many cool people. I did fly fishing with Tommy, rock climbing with Grace, and bowl weaving with Jack. They all live in Storybrooke. I wonder if you met any of their parents," Henry said, excitedly. "Actually, kid, there is something I need to talk to you about. It's about Storybrooke. Here, why don't we get in the car," she said, opening the door. "OK…" the boy said hesitantly. "Is everything alright, mom? You look nervous," He remarked, getting in the car.

"I met someone. In Storybrooke. And I know it seems fast, but we're going to move there. Soon!"
"Woah, what? Who is he? What's he like? Does he know about me?" Henry asked, turning as far towards Emma as his seatbelt would allow.

"She is the mayor of Storybrooke. Her name is Regina Mills. She's kind of a tough nut to crack, but, well, I cracked her. She's really very sweet and she wants us to live with her. Obviously she knows about you, how could I not tell her? I really love her, Henry, and I really wasn't planning on loving Storybrooke, but I do. I know you love our life in New York, and so do I, but we're gonna live in Regina's mansion. You'll have a fresh start at a new school, and you can still be friends with those people at camp,"

Henry took a second to process everything. "Will Regina be like… a second mom?" He asked.

"I'm not sure. She's going to give us a place to live and provide for us, but no, I don't think she's ready to be an actual mom. I do know that she is going to love you, protect you, and take care of you, no matter what. We're all going to have a life together. And I don't expect you to be 100% on board right now, I'm so sorry to spring this all on you. I know it seems fast, but I've never loved someone as much as I love Regina. We've talked a lot about this, and we're both ready."

"OK. I'm not really sure what to say. I'm not sad, but I wish I was prepared for this. I'll need time to adjust, obviously, but it'll be alright, I know it," Henry half-smiled.

"I'm so glad, Henry. Really. You know I wouldn't do this if I didn't think it was definitely the right thing to do. You can meet Regina today, as soon as we get back to Storybrooke. I just know you're going to love her, kid," Emma said, rustling her son's hair.
