"Well," Monokuma said. "I guess we're not leaving"
"You can't do this to us," Quick Draw said. "I would never kill one of my friends. Even if Snagglepuss owes me 5 bucks."
"Well, allow me to make this easier for you then," Monokuma said. He pulls out a list. "If I call your name, please stand over there on the side" He began to read,
"Yogi Bear"
Yogi, frozen with fear, doesn't move. Another Monokuma comes in and pushes Yogi to the spot Monokuma pointed to.
"Boo Boo"
Boo Boo doesn't move either but the Monokuma threatens Boo Boo with a taser so Boo Boo moves.
"Augie Doggie"
"Doggie Daddy"
"Quick Draw McGraw"
"Baba Looey"
"Top Cat"
"Squiddly Diddly"
"Wally Gator"
"Huckleberry Hound"
"Snagglepuss"
"Peter Potamus"
"So-So"
"Magila"
"And finally…"
There was a pause before Monokuma spoke the final name on the list.
"Secret Squirrel"
As soon as Secret stepped over to where the other selected characters were, Monokuma said.
"These are the participants of the killing game," Monokuma said. "The 16 of you are in charge of killing each other"
"But what's gonna happen to the rest of us?" Morocco Mole said.
"Oh I have plans for the rest of you," Monokuma said. "Take them away!"
More Monokumas showed up and escorted the rest of the gang out of frame.
"What are you gonna do to them?" Doggie Daddy asked.
"Use them as an example," Monokuma said. He presses a button and 4 people appear on the monitor: Benny the Ball, Morocco Mole, Hokey Wolf and Ranger Smith.
"Where are we?" Hokey asked.
"Why did we get sent here?" Morocco said.
"And how did I end up here?" Ranger Smith said. "I was at Jellystone Park a second ago-"
Monokuma presses a button and a bed of spikes pop up, stabbing all 4 of them.
Everyone gasped.
"NO!" Secret Squirrel cried.
"BENNY!" Top Cat cried.
"RANGER SMITH?!" Boo Boo and Yogi cried.
"What is wrong with you?!" Doggie Daddy said, covering Augie's eyes.
"Killing people fuels despair, especially if it's someone you care about," Monokuma said. "But I'll make a deal. If you can kill someone, I will revive all 4 of them"
"How are you gonna do that?" Yogi said.
"I have my ways," Monokuma said.
"I don't believe you," Baba Looey said. "How do we know you're not lying?"
"Do you want your friends back or not?" Monokuma asked. Quick Draw covers Baba's mouth.
"We do We do!" Quick Draw said.
"Well I'll be waiting for blood to spell that isn't me" Monokuma said. "Before you go, here's the rule of how this killing game will go. Toodles!"
Monokuma signs off and a book is thrown at Yogi. It's a black and white book with the words "Monokuma's Killing Game Rules" written in Red Crayon. Yogi opens it up and reads:
No violence against Monokuma. If you try to do so, you will be punished.
Everyone goes to bed at 10pm and wakes up at 7am each day
You can use any method to kill someone whether it be stabbing, electrocution, strangulation etc. But do not get caught.
When 3 people find the body, the body announcement jingle will sound. Everyone then must be present where the body was discovered.
The rest of the rules are whited out and "Check back after the first person is killed" is written in red crayon.
"Well how come we have to wait till after someone dies to know the rest of the rules?" Doggie Daddy asked.
"Maybe the next few rules will help when someone dies," Yogi said. "But I don't wanna have to kill someone."
"I think we should all get some rest," Quick Draw said. "Maybe this is all a bad dream and we need to just lie down"
"It helps Queek Straw at least," Baba Looey said.
Yogi looks outside and sees that night has already fallen.
"Well, if the plot demands it." Yogi said.
Unlike Quick Draw and Baba Looey, who slept in the same room, Yogi and Boo Boo slept in different rooms. Because Boo Boo already had someone, who they were supposed to pick up with the ark but since Monokuma stepped in. Boo Boo was sleeping alone again.
Yogi laid on his bed and stared at the ceiling. He couldn't sleep, how could he after seeing the Ranger killed in front of him? He knew that someone would be next to die. He didn't want his friends to kill him. He just wanted this nightmare to end already so they can go to their new home full of hope.
Before Yogi knew it, he had passed out from stress. The night went on in their new day of despair.
Except for whatever was going on in the kitchen.
