AN: I know I've been gone for a while and I'm sorry. Just the usual stuff, work, bills, ect.

Percy tumbled in his sleep. In his dreams, he saw flashes of moments yet to come, of battles in a land of ice, sand, and the swamp. In his last vision, he saw a boy in ice, as he walked closer the boy opened his eyes, they glowed as did his tattoos and then his voice echoed "free me".

The son of the sea awoke to the sound of the horn for breakfast. Making his way in his camp shirt and khaki shorts, he sat at his table as Chiron delivered his daily speech. Then something weird happened in the world of Camp Half-Blood. A portal opened and a man in a tuxedo with galaxies swirling around them stepped through.

His presence alone was suffocating, more so than the Gods of Olympus and their king's empty threats.

"LORD CHAOS!" Mr. D exclaimed, bowing to the man, shaking in his presence. Soon everyone followed.

"It's good to know I'm not forgotten. This is a prophecy from the Fates. I am here in their presence, it seems they are too busy creating and destroying your brief lives." He said as a letter appeared from his pocket.

Set free the boy of air. Gather masters of water, earth, & fire. The passing comet foretells a destroyed world. Only through air and water can they end the lord of fire's reign.

After reading the being of creation burned the prophetic note in the flaming pit. "Pack your things Godling of the Sea. You leave at noon." With that, he dissipated into partials.

The camp looked at Percy in disbelief as Chiron nodded his head. After breakfast and a brief sparring lesson, it was time. The creator of the universe walked through another portal and ushered Percy in with his backpack in tow.

-Southern Water Tribe-

"Watch and learn Katara." The brother spoke aiming to strike a fish as his sister raised a fish in the air trapping it in a ball of water, as she brought it into their boat, her brother's spear stabbed the water bubble and the fish fell back into the water. "You and your freaky water magic."

"It's not magic, it's bending." She spoke more as she noticed a portal open mid-air and something fell into the water. "Sokka, I think someone fell into the river." She exclaimed as they paddled to where the body laid. They got to the spot when Katara pulled him into the boat, only for the current pulling them away from their tribe.

The boy muttered something as the group crash landed. "I said left, not right." Katara said, subconsciously fueling her anger into the water behind her, rocking their ice float back and forth. "I'm embarrassed to be your sister!" The waterbender screamed as the iceberg broke apart.

The wave sent the siblings back with the boy falling into the water. "You've gone from weird to freakish Katara. Where'd the guy go?" Her brother asked as he felt a hand grab his foot.

He let out a girlish squeal as the boy dragged himself on the ice. He looked around and saw a figure in a globe of ice open his eyes as Katara grabbed her brother's club and raced with the boy who gained a shield, as they whacked the ice globe only to feel air rush past them as an energy beam launched in the air.

The globe broke apart as the child inside slid down the slope as Katara caught him. Sokka pointed his spear at the two men. "Katara be careful, they could be Fire Nation spies."

"Will... will you go penguin sledding with me?" The boy in the ice asked, Katara said yes, then they heard a groan behind with them as they found a hairy creature. "Appa, wake up buddy." The ice boy patted the creature as its eyes opened and sneezed on the tribesman.

His sister and their unknown guest shared a laugh until the ooze stayed with him at arm's length. "It'll wash out. I'm a...a...achoo!" The boy shot into the air and slid down the slope again to tell them his name's Aang.

"Im Katara, this paranoid one is my brother, Sokka, and he's…"

"Perseus Jackson, but call me Percy, a little paranoia is ok. What's this Fire Nation?"

The siblings looked at him like he was crazy, but saved it for another time. With Sokka claiming they needed to head home, but not understanding where they were at. They all rode on the Sky Bison, who belly flopped into the icy water.

-Meanwhile-

The exiled prince told the caption to head for the light. "Prince Zuko, it could be the aurora lights again, we've been through this before."

"I WILL capture the Avatar. My honor depends on it!" Fire erupted from his fists as the ship changed its course.

-Next Morning-

The group arrived at the village with Appa behind them. "Aren't you cold, Percy?" Aang asked as the demigod shook his head.

"I'm able to endure some surroundings, given my abilities with water."

"You're a waterbender! Can you teach me?" Katara asked as he looked at her.

"Um, what's a waterbender?" He asked as the girl told him about the four elements and the Avatar, to which Aang looked away at the approaching village.

When they entered they met with a small group. "Aang and Percy, this is the entire village of the Southern Water Tribe. Entire village, Aang and Percy."

"Airbender tattoos. Impossible, I thought they were extinct." An old lady asked. "My name is Kana but you can call me Gran Gran. I'm the temporary elder of our tribe."

Percy bowed like he would to the Gods. "Thank you for allowing us to enter your home, Madam Kana." Sokka grabbed Aang's staff and stabbed the air experimentally.

After complaining it wasn't a weapon, the airbender told them it was a glider, and showed the village as he soared through the air with loop de loops as the children giggled as Aang slammed into a tower made of snow. "My watchtower!" Sokka cried as Percy ran to get him and brushed the snow off him.

"You good?" The son of the sea asked as Appa graced the ground gently as the children climbed on him and slid down from his tail. Gran Gran pulled her granddaughter away for her to do her chores, as Sokka ran to rebuild his tower, only for snow to pile on him.

After removing Aang's staff from his tongue, Percy walked around the tiny village. While coming back he saw Sokka with a group of boys, telling them to have courage when facing the Fire Nation, only for the boys to ask to use the bathroom. "I understand what you're trying to do, but they are children. We should not sacrifice their innocence for war, no matter how long it's been brewing. Aren't there any villages nearby?" He asked as the children slid down Appas tail, into fresh snow.

"No Percy, we are the only tribe in the South Pole, there were more of us but my dad and the other men left to go fight in the war." Sokka looked at the ground as he looked up. "What is wrong with you? We don't have time for games with a war going on."

Aang slid down from his sky bison. "what war?"

Sokka opened his mouth as Aang zoomed past them, chasing a penguin that appeared behind the siblings, only for Aang to run after the creature. "He's kidding right?" The tribesman sighed as Katara and Percy raced after him.

When the two teens arrived, they saw Aang trying to get a creature. Percy smirked at the show before him as Katara drew out a sardine from her parka. "Watch and learn young airbender, as I pass down the sacred art of catching penguins." She said as she tossed the fish to Aang as the flightless bird's dog piled him to get the tasty treat.

Soon the three were sliding down the snowy slopes, riding the creatures like snowboards. Screaming in joy with the others, Percy prayed his father wouldn't smite him with the birds often entering his territory. "I haven't done this since I was a kid!" Katara screamed as Aang told her she still is a kid.

Entering a tunnel, Aang used his airbending to push himself forward as Percy used the water in the air to do the same, leaving Katars in the dust. As they exited the icy tunnel they slid toward a ship on ice. Waving in the wind was a worn and torn Fire Navy flag.
