Ok so this is the third chapter of the StormBender story. To be honest, I don't know why I picked the title, Life has been a little hectic but everything is mostly ok. The reason why I am swapping episodes 2 and 3 is because of one reason, which will be revealved in the next chapter. Please enjoy, and thank you everyone for reading, and following me and this story.
Resting on an island, allowing sleep to take them over. For the first time since he found out he became a demigod, Percy didn't have a nightmare. Eventually they woke up to the crashing waves.
Groaning, Percy saw the largest koi fish possible. "Lets go!" Aang shouted, stripping to his underwear and raced to the sea. Meanwhile, Katara was sewing her brother's pants. "Katara, look!" Aang shouted, riding a Koi fish.
Disappointed, he flew back to the beach, asking why she didn't see him. "Aang, you need to give girl's space when they're sewing."
"What does me being a girl have to do with my ability to sew?"
"Simple sister, girls are better at housework and raising kids, while men are better at hunting and fishing, isn't that right Percy?"
"Oh Gods Sokka, I know girls who would love to castrate you for what you said. They're better hunters and gatherers than I and my friends could ever be." Katara smirked at her brother and tossed his unfinished pants at him.
Unbeknownst to them, a sea serpent was reaching the shores, showering the gang with water as it rose its head. The Unagi roared at the intruders.
"You do not have the scent of the island's natives nor of the merchants. Why are you here?"
"It… it spoke!?" Sokka screeched, hiding behind his sister. "Katara, use your magic water to talk to it or something."
"This is new. Normally I'm the only one who can communicate with sea creatures." Percy said as the group looked at him. The Unagi touched each member with its whiskers.
"Impossible, the omens are true. The spirit of Ravva I can understand, but you? A child of the sea and of the other world." The sea beast bowed its head to Percy. "I'm sorry for the hostile greeting, my prince. Someone who isn't a merchant or a native, I assume to bring harm to the island. What can I do to make amends for my action?"
Pery thought about Annabeth and her siblings, with how they would plan for war, until it hit him. "Gather your forces and take down any ships bearing a red flag with black flames, and that goes for any of their allies."
"As you command my liege," the creature roared again and dove into the sea. "Brothers and sisters of the sea, the Avatar and son of Poseidon have returned!"
Calmness claimed the area as the siblings looked at Percy. Confused why the sea serpent called him a prince of the sea. Suddenly people dropped from the surrounding trees. The siblings, with Aang, were tied and blindfolded. Several warriors attacked his presser points, then the swordsman joined the gang in an unconscious slumber.
Voices reached his ears, he opened his eyes to find a blindfold around his eyes. "If you don't answer our questions, you four will be Unagi food." A female voice commanded them as someone removed the blindfolds.
"Where are the men who ambushed us?" Sokka asked as Percy groaned.
"Sokka, shut up. Girls are much more capable of things than men, especially the group I know. My name is Percy, these siblings are Sokka and Katara. Aang over there."
"How do we know your not spies from the Fire Nation?" An older man asked. "Kyoshi Islanders have stayed out of war's grasp and we will keep it that way."
"This is her island? I know her." Aang spoke to the group cheerfully.
The man laughed, saying there was no way Aang could have known the Avatar from four centuries ago.
"She was my past life. I'm Avatar Aang, from the Southern Air Temple."
"Impossible! Suki, throw this imposter into the sea." THe old man commanded the leader of warriors.
"Sir, that's going to be impossible. I told the Unagi to attack any Fire Navy ships." Percy told him, smirking at the Elder's face.
A warrior from the back walked to the front, asking how as she leaned into Percy's eyes. "Di Immortals. Percy, is that really you?"
"Who are you?" The sea prince asked as the girl smiled.
"One shall be lost in a land without rain."
"B… Bianca? How, why are you here?" Tears escaped his eyes as he struggled to break free.
"The river reincarnated me. I take it the Gods sent you here on a quest." She asked as the village elder ordered the warriors to throw them into the sea once more. A few moments later that Aang shot himself up the pole holding the wooden carving of Avatar Kyoshi and spun marbles in the air. Amongst the cheering crowd a man fainted, foaming at the mouth.
"Is that guy ok?" Katara asked as the girls nodded their heads, releasing the group. Percy and the siblings landed on the ground as Bianca hugged her cousin.
"How's Nico?" The reincarnated huntress asked as Percy gave her the short version of the Ghost Kings life after her death.
"So I have a sister who is a Roman and my brother is dating a guy? I'm not surprised about that last part. He would often sneak glances at the other men in the hotel. Then worried he would end up with a gun to his head."
"Holy Hera, why?"
"The 1930s were a death sentence for those who found their own sex attractive." Bianca looked over at her fellow warriors. "Later, Percy! Oh and I'm called Anima, Suki's twin!"
The next day the town served a breakfast feast to the group. "Sokka eat up," Aang told him as the Water tribesman pouted and rolled in the corner.
"Leave him be, he's sad girls took him down," Katara smirked at her brother, being taken down his sexist horse.
"Excuse me, is there anything available that's not fish or from the sea?"
The server nodded and brought Percy meats and fruits from the ports. The son of the sea brought out a portable burner and dumped a portion of his food into the burner and prayed that the burned offerings went to the Gods of his homeworld. 'If Bianca is here, then what about the others, like Selina and Charles?' He thought as they brought him a plate of charcoaled grilled horse ostrich.
While the gang split for their own thing, Percy went to the dojo that the Warriors frequent and amazed to see Sokka bowing to their leader, asking her to train him as a Kyoshi Warrior. "Ladies, shall we train him?" Suki asked as the girls surrounded Sokka like a pack of wolves about to fest. "You're in. You too Percy, based on what my sister said, you're an exceptional fighter."
Removing his shoes, he bowed before entering the dojo and saw Anima smile and dodged a jab from her as he approached her. From there the two started their private sparring match, fan against sword. The two men lost many times by the time the sun set.
The next day Percy found Anima using Bianca's powers of summoning the dead like her brother. "Anima, or I guess Bianca. How is everything?"
"Eek!" The earth swallowed the limb when its controller freaked out. "Percy! Was that necessary?" The girl said, thrusting a fan towards the sea prince. Expecting him to dodge, he took the hit. "Percy?"
He shook his head, looking at her with eyes fierce as a storm. "Gather your girls and meet me at the beach!" Percy took off, relaying the information the Unagi just told him. He raced towards the beach, only to meet the Fire Navy lead by Zuko.
Running back to the village, word had spread of the Firebenders arriving on their shores. "Find the Avatar, alive, burn the village if you have to." The prince ordered his men as their mounts made their way to the fishing village.
Once the enemies arrived, the band of girls sprung into action, leaping from roofs to take down the Firebenders, riding the rear of the beasts. Making quick work of the spearmen, Zuko blasted them with his elemental powers. Suki and Anima jumped in the air to attack, only to both get knocked back by the beast's tail as Zuko forced it to turn around.
While aiming for Suki, Sokka took the flames and dispersed them. Startled by this, the beast knocked its master off and ran. Soon being surrounded, he spun, projecting fire from his feet, hitting the girls and Sokka. Meanwhile, Percy and Katara gathered the villagers to safety, bringing them in a hut, while Percy stood guard.
"Look what I've done, their village is burning, and it's my fault." Aang said as he dropped from the sky.
"Aang, it's not your fault, if we leave Kyoshi that hot-headed jerk will follow us and we'll the villagers unharmed. I know it's not right, but it is the best we can do." Katara told her young friend, placing a hand on his shoulders.
"I'll deal with the buildings, you get Appa." Percy said, running to the edge of the village. Meanwhile, Sokka and Suki kissed as the warrior pushed her student away as the wind and rain picked up as Appa roared.
Leaving the forming hurricane, the group flew away, having the Fire Navy ship boarding their ship. "Guys, where's Percy?"
"I… I guess that's Percy." Katara asked, looking at the body of their friend in the storm's eye, concentrating on decreasing the wind as the rain took out the fire, saving the homes. Anima used her other halves powers to use the enemies' bodies as a ramp to capture the storm bringers body as he fell. With her in tow, she launched them into the sea.
Sensing the aura of Percy in the water, the Unagi found the pair and hoisted them above the surface, as the soar through the clouds once more, this time with Apps catching them and Percy screaming.
