OK, so I was halfway through and I then had to play some football (don't ask why I joined the team when I hate contact sports!) and my computer updated. SO MY LOVELY, DETAILED, LONG PARAGRAPHS WERE GONE. Lol! I just saw the cap locks button as soon as I typed that OMG.

So it's my birthday soon ... I legit have no idea where that was going OMG! Anyways, I must not get too carried away. That's a big promise, kay?!

Anyways, it WAS my birthday OMG lol!

"James awoke at last, the sun shining in his chocolate eyes. But something felt different. Maybe it was the warm breeze of the autumn day, which was a change from the icy wind that week. Perhaps it was the floating Halloween mask in the bathroom, waiting to be discovered. It may have been the pink smudge of lip gloss that found a home on James' cheek. That was obviously it. James was now woken from his slumber and about to get up. "What a nice day!" he mumbled to himself, wiping dog-like drool from his mouth. Feeling a wet patch on his cheek, James scrubbed at it but the stain wouldn't move. Whose lips even made that mark? In the Great Hall, chatting to her friends, was the new Mrs Potter."

"Woah! hang on, you got MARRIED!" Remus shrieked.

"Dude, shhh! I wanna hear this. Go on, James."

"As I was saying ...
"The October day before all this confusion began a light, delicate, elegant occurrence as James strutted down the Great Hall like a king. Marching to the phoenix stand where the speech was delivered by Dumbledore earlier that year, his voice rang out like an angel's song, even more smooth than his hazel eyes. Lily, who happened to be half asleep from studying later than usual, was captivated by this blurry man's plans and, to say the least, was a little tipsy from some spiked pumpkin juice meant for Prongs."

"Yeah, sorry 'bout that, mate."

"Sirius! I wanna hear this," Remus mimicked, "and, James, stop complimenting yourself. You're really not that handso-"

Before Remus had a chance to finish his sentence, Lily butted in, "What are you guys doing?"

"Yeah!" Marlene followed her into the room. "This is kinda OUR dorm!"

"It isn't that bad..."

"Shut up!" cried James. "Do you wanna hear the story or not?" The room fell into a dead silence. "Lily wobbled forwards into James' strong, muscular arms and grinned messily."

"Stop talking about yourself in 3rd person," Lily glared at James.

"OK, fine, but James is not impressed!" He replied coolly.

"Guys! Guys! What's going on?"

Sirius grinned, "If you were listening McKinnon-"

"I was!" Marls demanded as Sirius, somehow, raised one of his eyebrows.

"SHUT UP!" roared Peter. The battling room fell silent. "Thank you," he squeaked, the anxiety-stricken Peter back in business.

"What the hell, Peter?!" Lily screamed. "DO NOT TELL ME TO SHUT UP!" Mascara was running down her stunning eyes and onto her ripped, emerald, cocktail dress. She was beautiful, in a chaotic kind of way. James could stare at her all day, but instead he returned to his tremendous tale.

I gotta go, kay. I wanted to update because you all deserved it. Especially you, Diana. I'll miss you when I'm away. xxx

I'm going on a residential trip with my class tomorrow for a week. I'll miss you. So so so so so so so much. I can't explain it. It's just so ... spectacular coming on here and reading my reviews, my PMs, my supporters who love and cherish this fanfiction as much as I do. I promise I will never forget you. And that I'll hand-write my next chapter whilst I'm there (no electronics). Life is beautiful when you have dozens of friends supporting you every step of the way. And, as a nerd, I say this. You are my life, my friends, my world. This is my home. And I know that sounds oddly similar to a speech in a fanfiction I wrote 2 years ago, but it's true: I belong here. So do you. You have got to read that listening to "Harry in Winter", so tearful. Yup. I'm so ... Potter-y.

Phew! I hope I didn't scare anyone away with that speech! I'm just an awkward girl typing this on a super-old computer in her geeky room covered in Ravenclaw posters.

But I have one more thing to say, well, ask. Diana, will you be my friend forever? I know we don't know each other, but if our parallel universe theory is correct, isn't it better to be friends with yourself than mere acquaintances? I know I rant to much and all, but my friendship is as true as Dumbledore's death (soz about the spoiler). One last time I will ask. Diana. Will you be my best friend for life?
