Don't own Twlight or New Moon...

II. Floating

Floating is not so easy

when your feet never touch

reality.

Even Freedom can have its shackles,

unbind your arms and leave you with

nothing to embrace.

Floating is too easy.

Leaves you with aching hands

and numb limbs.

Nothing else to grasp

Floating is floating.

Passive on the brink of dawn

motionless and eerie calm.

Spoiler Warning!

This is another poem told from Bella's perspective. Despite it's title, it is actually about Bella waking up from her catharsis. She's still surrounded by the fog she's created, but she is beginning to feel antsy and is no longer satisfied with the state she is in. Basically, this is her mindset before she goes to Port Angeles and hears Edward's voice for the first time.
