Chapter 5: The Goblins

Danny ran as fast as he could. He still couldn't believe it.

"Seriously?! Why, after getting a girlfriend, does a girl like that attach herself to me like that?!" He asks himself loudly.

I hate irony... Danny thought.

He didn't bother looking back, out of fear either Sally May or Zeb, or even both, were following him.

"I couldn't tell them I have a girlfriend right then and there, she and her brother might try to assault me after that… and I'd have to reveal my powers right then and there and I'm trying to avoid that!" He said to himself before realizing something.

Something he forgot.

These guys are locals… maybe they know Professor David? He thought.

He braked hard and turned around. When he did, he saw he was all alone. Something he did not want at the moment.

"Great…" He muttered, realizing they could've been his key to finding the professor.

The ghost boy sighed in frustration.

Now… where to go next? Danny thought.

He looked around, finding no trace of civilization now that he's run for so long.

"I might need to go ghost and fly to find the hotel…" An idea came to his mind and he smiled. "Or… I could just go around and find those goblins myself."

He decided to do just that.

As he walked, he had no idea something less interested in kissing him was following.

With Sam and Tucker

The two teens were hanging in the hotel room. However, only one of them was enjoying their time.

Tucker scarfed all of the room service food he ordered, from sandwiches to cookies. Meanwhile, Sam sat on the opposite side of the room, watching the television.

She is bored and a little peeved to be here instead of joining her boyfriend.

"There's a whole lot of beautiful landscape out there and I'm stuck here…" She mutters angrily.

"So...we got room service." Tucker said as he stuffed the contents of a potato chip bag into his mouth.

Sam rolled her eyes.

She looked out the window and sighed, thinking about her boyfriend who is still off visiting his relatives.

"I was hoping Danny and I could have some fun together in the beauty of nature… like that time we went to camp." She says sadly.

Tucker heard this and sent her a sympathetic look.

"Relax… we know Danny. We've known him for like… ever. I waited a decade for you two to get together… so I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you guys will pull through." Tucker said before stuffing a chocolate cake into his mouth.

Sam smiled, despite how gross he was being, Tucker is a good friend she can somewhat depend on.

"Thanks, Tucker…" She said.

''No problem..." He said before throwing the now empty bag away.

"I bet he and I can have a little more time together tomorrow." Sam said.

"What do you think they're doing right now?" Tucker asks.

"Enjoying the beauty of Kentucky, no doubt. I sincerely doubt Danny's out looking for aliens…" Sam joked.

Back to Danny

The ghost boy was by himself.

He looked around. He was in a clearing, trees surrounding as there was enough space to fit a school bus.

Looks like no one is here. He thought.

He sat on a large rock, taking a break.

He looked up at the sky, seeing the stars above the skies and the waxing gibbous moon giving some moonlight to help him see the area better.

He took a small breath.

"Well… this is definitely a pretty place… but no sign of anyone or anything, especially no aliens." He said to himself.

He sighed in frustration as he looked around.

Well, looks like I spent enough time looking. It's been like an hour. Danny thought.

He then got up.

"Well, I guess I better-"

That's when the sound of a tree branch snapping caught his attention.

Becoming alert, Danny stood still.

It was now he realized something. It was quiet, far too quiet for his liking. The wind barely blew, the animals were quieting down, nature was becoming silent. It was a quietness that felt like it was not normal. As a result, all Danny could do was look around.

It's quiet...too quiet... He thought.

Normally, when his life's in danger, his ghost sense would go off, he'd morph and do battle with whatever it was. However, what he was dealing with was something more than likely not a ghost.

It could be the overly flirtatious girl, or her city-hating brother, so he can't take a risk.

Either situation is bad and he did a lot to keep his secret after the Disasteroid incident.

"Hello?!" He called out, realizing too late that it probably was a bad idea.

He took a breath, trying to calm himself down.

Stay calm, Fenton... He thought.

He was about to step back when he heard the snapping of a branch again.

He was starting to sweat in fear, not sure what he was going to encounter. He tried to keep a cool head though, as he shut his eyes to clear his mind.

"Okay... please be an owl or something..." He said under his breath.

SNAP

He heard the sound was even closer than before.

That's when he saw something approaching.

Something that was bright, but somewhat dull given the distance.

Is that... a light? He thought.

He took a step forward, trying to get a better look.

It didn't look like a flashlight, it seemed more like a lantern, but taller and much closer to the ground.

Danny squinted his eyes and raised a hand over his forehead to help get a better look at what's approaching.

"Hello?!" Danny called out. There was no answer. "Is someone there?!"

It was then he noticed something, namely that the light wasn't just coming closer, but moved like it was like a train on a track, not in an organic manner.

It was now he realized it wasn't in a natural shape, as if it was something glowing.

It was then Danny realized the situation was all wrong as his eyes widened.

"No way…" He said under his breath.

He couldn't believe what he was seeing, but what he saw wasn't human or a ghost. It was unlike anything he's ever seen.

What he saw was something between three to four feet tall. It was silver in appearance with large yellow eyes, shaped like saucers and appeared like glass and was glowing. It had what appeared to be large, triangular ears on each side. The limbs were spindly, with three fingers and toes on each hand and foot. On closer inspection, it looked like there were lines to indicate gloves and boots, with some kind of vest-like features on the chest. It had what looked like a grin on its face, but the "teeth" looked fake, almost like a sculpted mouth.

But there were two things in particular that caught Danny's attention. The first was that this strange creature itself that the odd light came from, the yellow glow emitting from it. The second was that Danny just noticed it was hovering with its arms stretched out and its legs straightened, almost atrophied.

Danny lowered his arm. He had to blink. He rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things.

"No way…" He said under his breath in awe. "Okay… my ghost sense didn't go off… so this isn't a ghost. It looks too thin to be a person in a costume… and I don't see anyone around… is this… real?" He then cleared his throat. "Are you… can you understand me?"

The small creature slowly landed on the ground, its legs buckling a moment before looking at Danny, its arms lowering as it stood in a hunched manner before tilting its head quizzically.

It only stood there, staring at him with increasingly uncomfortable silence.

It was making Danny feeling uneasy.

"Hello?" Danny asks.

That's when the eyes emitted, like a flashlight, then it stared.

The small creature tilted its head to the other side before raising its head up. Then it raised a hand to its side.

"BRGGGHHH!" It went. "BRGGGHHH!"

Danny's eyes widened. The sound it made was similar to some kind of animal hiss, only a bit more guttural.

Taking a step back, Danny Fenton blinked.

"What is it doing?" Danny wondered as he heard something else.

"GONONON!"

"KRYKIKOKO!"

"ONONONONO!"

"GEW-GRUH-GRUH!"

Danny was not familiar with animal sounds, but knew what heard was not natural.

Then he heard other hissing sounds.

He looked around and saw more lights were appearing behind the small creature.

That's when he realize he was not alone.

The first three lights approached from ground level, the last one raised into the three before it went out.

The three lights arrived, revealing to be the same kind of creature as the one that Danny has just seen.

The sounds of branches moving were heard as Danny saw something hopping towards him from the trees. It was another one of these strange creatures, making its way to join the rest until it finally jumped off the last branch, landing to the very left of the group of small silver creatures.

Now all five stood in a line in front of Danny.

Danny began to realize something as a smile came to his face.

"No… way… these things… they're… the Kentucky Goblins! HA!" He did a proud fist pump. "I knew it! Real! HA! In your face, Mom! In your face, Sam! Woo!"

He ran in a small circle for a moment, ecstatic to find his proof.

It was here and now he noticed these things were just staring at him a great moment longer before all of them shared silent looks at one another.

Danny lowered his arms.

"Uh… what are you guys doing?" Danny asks.

They did not respond or acknowledge they understood him.

That's when the middle creature, the first that arrived, had raised its hand at Danny, pointing all its fingers at Danny.

"WRGUKRUKUKUU! GRAWAHAKA!" The lead Goblin went.

"GRRWHU!" The other four went before they started what looked like swaying their hips.

That's when, instead of walking, they started hopping towards Danny.

Danny made a step backward.

"Uh… wait." He held his hand out. "Whoa there!" They ignored him. "Just a second! Look, I come in peace! I'm just out to meet you guys and find this guy you've apparently been harassing!" They got close enough to not bother hopping and walked towards him in a calm manner, claws bared. "Look, I'm kind of excited that aliens are a thing, but maybe if you guys just talk with me so that I can-"

Before he could finish, the lead hopped towards him, a claw reaching out.

Thinking fast, Danny turned intangible, letting this thing pass through him.

Turning its head quickly over its shoulder, it quickly realized what just happened as Danny ran past the creature, returning tangible as he turned and faced the Goblins.

All of them stared at Danny before the leader hissed.

"GRWAHKA!" The five Goblins went in unison.

Realizing these creatures meant to harm him, Danny could only clench a fist.

"Okay, I'm amazed to learn there's life off world and everything, but not so amazed I won't fight back. So, instead of a welcome to Earth and I come in peace, I'll say... GOIN' GHOST!"

With two energy rings passing his body, Danny Fenton was now Danny Phantom.

He hovered off the ground, fists clenched and shaking.

The Goblins only stared at him a moment before they made another strange hissing sound and ran at Danny, intent to fight.

All of them ran on their spindly legs, claws bared.

In response, Danny raised a ghost shield, which the five collided with and knocked them back.

"Ha! Try getting past that!" He says to them.

As if taking on his challenge, the five aliens looked to each other, making odd gurgling-like sounds to each other and started clawing the shield.

Danny raised an eyebrow, curious what exactly they were doing until he saw it. The claws were somehow damaging the shield, making what looked like cracks.

Starting to realize what they were up to, Danny lowered the shield and pulled back.

''Whoa!" He yelped as they rushed him..

Two of them tried to grab him, but he swung his leg and kicked the two away. As that happened, he heard what sounded like a tin can getting kicked, realizing it came from the creatures.

He didn't have time to think as the other three came after him.

He failed to dodge one of the claws, scratching his side. Danny hissed in pain as he hovered back, reaching to the wound and, to his surprise, he saw the ectoplasmic blood from the cut.

"Wait… how'd they do that?" He asks himself before he sees that same Goblin leaping at him, making him fire a ghost ray and send the creature flying back into its allies. "Okay… not the time to hypothesize." He says before flying away.

All of the Goblins looked to each other a moment before looking to where Danny went. The lead Goblin raised a fist.

Danny, meanwhile, was flying at a relatively decent speed above the trees as he laughed to himself.

"Let's see them try and pick a fight now!" He said before the sound of screeching was heard from behind.

To his shock, he looked back to see four of the creatures were hovering after him, glowing that dull gold color once more.

Gritting his teeth, Danny maneuvered as he slowed down, descending a bit to dodge one of the Goblins before speeding up, swinging his fist and punching it. With his back turned, the other Goblins came from behind the ghost boy, grabbing him and trying to pull him down.

"Oh man!" Danny tried to phase out of their grips, but found himself unable to. "What the heck?!" He went, finding himself unable to break free.

The Goblin he punched hovered back.

"Ku-kru kulu?" It went, sounding like it was asking a question.

"Kulu kru yaga bah." One of them said in response.

It was now Danny noticed something. Their claws had somewhat of a burning sensation as they held onto him.

He didn't have time to think about it as his eyes glowed.

"Let… me… go!"

He unleashed a flash of energy, making them let go.

The Goblins all fell to the ground, hitting head first. Each collision made what sounded like metal hitting rocks.

Seeing them hit the ground, Danny took a moment to look at his arms, seeing what looked like green dust.

''What is this stuff?" He asked out loud.

He felt an odd burning sensation on his arm, reaching his fingers as he dusted it off.

It took him a moment to realize what this was and his eyes widened.

"Ectoranium?" He asks, looking down at the Goblins as he lowered to the ground. "They had… something that could hurt me?" He asks as his eyes widen. "That means… They were hunting ghosts? Did they… know I was coming?" He asks before noticing something. "Wait… weren't there 5 of them?"

His question was answered fast as he heard another alien sound behind him.

Turning around, he saw one more Goblin running on all fours, leaping at him with claws ready for attacking.

''Kweeka!" It shouted but Danny reacted fast and sent a blast at it.

The Goblin was sent upward before falling back to the ground.

However, the other Goblins got back up, all of them hissing in what sounded like they were angry.

Danny pounded a fist into his hand.

"I always wanted to live out my 90's shooter action game and cheesy action film fantasies." He said to himself.

He then glared again at the aliens.

One Goblin leapt at him, but he caught it by the wrist.

It was then he noticed the lack of green dust, making him realize this one doesn't have Ectoranium dust. He realized this was the creature he first avoided before morphing and the fight began.

"Eat dirt!" Danny yelled.

He slammed the creature into the ground.

With that, Danny thought fast and flew back.

The other Goblins raced to attack him, hovering in the air to come after Danny.

Danny's fists glowed before he fired a heavy stream of ectoplasmic energy from his hands. Two of the Goblins were shot down, but the remaining two avoided the attack in favor of coming after Danny.

Danny chose to fly at the aliens, swinging his fist to knock away one of them, the momentum sending it into its ally. Both aliens were rolling on the ground for about a good moment, kicking up dirt along the way before colliding with another Goblin, stopping their roll and knocking their ally down.

Danny landed on his feet, firing three ghost rays from his fists.

The five aliens scattered, avoiding his shots. All of them ran towards him, two of them on all fours, intent to keep up the fight.

Danny gritted his teeth, ready for more.

Back at the McKirk Farm

While Danny was out, Maddie was speaking to her cousin and his wife in the dining room, dinner long since finished.

"So, how do you feel about tomato soup for tomorrow?" Betty Jo asked.

"Well, it's been a while since I had it and Alicia's rhubarb pie..." Maddie said in a chipper tone.

"I can't wait for it too. I mean, nothing against my wife's pie, of course." Zeke said.

"Of course. Alicia will be helping out in cooking more than the pie." Betty Jo said.

Jack frowned at that.

A good chance she'll spit in my food… He thought in annoyance.

"May I be excused? I gotta find a bathroom..." Jack said, having had more water than food for dinner.

"We got an outhouse around the back." Zeke said.

As Jack got up, Maddie gushed.

"I can't wait until tomorrow." She went.

"I can..." He muttered under his breath, not looking forward to her relatives seeing him again.

As he went through the door, he saw Danielle was sitting on the porch, a few feet away from her Aunt Alicia, who was whittling what looked like a spoon.

He saw Danielle was trying to talk to her and get her to acknowledge her.

"So, got any kids?" Danielle asked.

"Didn't want 'em when I was married, still don't..." Alicia said, not looking at her as she kept whittling.

Danielle frowned but tried again.

"So… is that, like, for fun?" She asked, pointing to the spoon.

"Yup." Alicia responded flatly.

"Can I… learn how to do that?" Danielle asked.

"I doubt you'd be able to learn..." Alicia said flatly, brushing her off as she got up, walking away.

Danielle pouted sadly as Alicia was now going around the house, leaving her alone.

"I just wanted to talk..." Danielle said to herself, looking sad.

"Little princess?" The voice of her father was heard.

Danielle turned around and saw Jack. He had just seen his sister-in-law brush off her new niece.

It made him mad and Danielle noticed.

"You saw that, huh?" She asks.

He nodded. He also saw the sad look on Danielle's face and knelt down, patting her on the head.

"Don't let it bother you. She isn't worth your time..." Jack said.

"But… isn't she family?" Danielle asks.

"She's Maddie's family, not mine. You don't have to get along with her. You'll notice Jazz and Danny don't even try. She's never liked kids and just stays to herself. It's no wonder her ex-husband left…"

"I guess I can see that... but I want to at least try..." Danielle said.

Despite his dislike of Alicia, Jack sighed in resignation and tried to smile.

"Well, if you're dead set on it, good luck." Jack says.

Danielle smiles.

"Thanks Dad."

"Anytime, Sweethe-" His eyes widened as a look of horror came to his face. "Uh... hold tight. I forgot the reason I got out in the first place."

He ran to the other side of the house, hands at his crotch as he held onto his bladder.

He tried to find that outhouse and fast.

"Oh Dad." Danielle said with a sigh and a small smile.

That's when she heard it.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING HERE, JACK FENTON?!" Alicia shouted.

"FINDING THE OUTHOUSE, THAT'S WHAT!" Jack shouted back.

"GO BACK TO YOUR CITY BATHROOMS WITH INDOOR PLUMBIN'!" Alicia shouted back.

''I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS! MOVE!" Jack yelled.

Maddie opened the door, something Danielle noticed. The Fenton matriarch sighed in disappointment.

"Of course..." She went.

Elsewhere

Danny Phantom oversaw the unconscious bodies of the Goblins on the ground, panting deeply.

He wiped his forehead clean, taking a deep breath.

"Well… I guess that's one heck of a close encounter." Danny said to himself.

With the creatures seemingly out cold, he approached.

He got a good look at the "face" of one, coming to realize the "eyes" and "smile" on their faces were fake, resembling some kind of helmet. With his foot, he lightly tapped the face, noticing how hard and inorganic it felt even with his boot on.

Thinking fast, Danny created a small piece of ice in his hand, letting it drop onto the Goblin's head. It made that same metallic sound he had been hearing every time one of these creatures were hit.

Silently pondering, he realized these creatures were wearing some kind of armor, explaining the sound and how they seemed capable of taking hits from him.

"Okay… now… what do I do about these things? They're not ghosts, so the Thermos would be pointless… maybe-"

That's when he heard it.

He heard what sounded like the odd gibberish the creatures had been doing all night, realizing that more were in the area. And they sounded like they were getting louder, realizing they were approaching.

Thinking fast, Danny turned invisible, flying up to get a look at what's coming.

More of them? He thought.

Then he saw them. There were pairs of lights coming from the dark, at least 3 of them. He saw them bouncing, realizing the creatures were running. Their distance from the ground suggests they were upright rather than on all fours.

He was proven right, as they were running on two legs. He also noticed they were carrying things in their hands as they approached their downed allies.

Oh man? What are they doing with all that stuff? Danny thought.

To his surprise, the creatures did not aid their allies. Instead, they did some odd, high-pitched hiss at them. This got the other 5 to awaken, getting up and approaching their allies in an aggressive manner.

"Dondon-nodondon!" One of the first 5 went.

"Ondundunnono!" One of the 3 responded.

The ghost boy raised an eyebrow at this.

"Are they arguing?" Danny pondered before shaking his head. "Doesn't matter."

He fired his ghost ray, knocking one of the new Goblins down.

This alerts the rest of the alien creatures, causing them to look around as it tries to pick up the objects it stole.

"Gurwakai!" The lead creature shouted in an aggressive way.

"Hey guys." Danny said, presenting himself with a fake smile. "Glad to meet more of you! I'm beaming with joy!" He said, firing a blast he charged in his hands since saying "beaming".

One creature was sent flying into a tree, knocking it down.

The four remaining Goblins not holding anything acted as guards to the other three, one of them looking back.

"Kruawhaha! Keekuu!" It said, as if an order.

"Bruikrui!" One responded.

The three of them made a break for it. The one that was shot into a tree got up and hopped until reuniting with its allies, standing with them to bare claws.

"Krraugh!" The creature snarled at Danny.

"I have no idea what you guys want, but I'm pretty sure you don't want me to ruin it." Danny says.

By this point, he knew these creatures didn't understand him, nor could he understand them, but it didn't change that these things are thieves and clearly a threat to him.

He didn't have time to consider what they wanted with the stolen objects, but figured since they were attacking him it must not be a good thing.

Thinking fast, Danny kicked upward, launching one of the creatures up as he grabbed the wrist of another attempting to claw him and swung it like a weapon to knock two more Goblins down before tossing the creature aside. The last tried to leap at Danny, but he reached down, as the Goblin he launched up earlier was now landing, grabbing by the "ear" and slammed it into the other's head, creating an imprint in the ground.

This wasn't enough, though. Two of them got back up and tackled him. Danny tried to phase through, but found they were grabbing him by his sides. The burning sensation made him realize these two had Ectoranium dust on them. However, just because he couldn't phase through them didn't mean he can't fight back, as evident when he kicked them off.

With the two sliding back, the rest of their allies joined them to resume the battle.

Before they could attack any further, they all stopped in their tracks.

Danny rose his arms, ready for more. However, to his surprise, they didn't attack him.

Instead, all of them look over their shoulders as if something called out to them. Danny looked to where they were seeing, but saw nothing.

He thought he heard the faint sound of buzzing.

He blinked, not sure what they were doing. It was as if they all turned off as they stopped moving. After some awkward silence, he cleared his throat.

"So… fight's over?" He asks.

They still did not react to him, even as they looked at each other, not bothering to make sounds.

It was then they started hopping away from Danny, as if something called them home.

However, Danny wasn't so keen to let them leave. So, he flew after them.

He grabbed one by the shoulder and it hissed, trying to pull out. However, as it grabbed Danny by the arm, he noticed there was no burning sensation, causing him to smile when he realizes this is the one without the Ectoranium dust. As a result, he tossed the creature aside, seeing the rest abandoning their ally.

Danny pounded a fist into his hand.

"I guess your pals don't wanna play anymore." He said.

"PPPRRAAKKKAH!" The Goblin shouted as it ran at Danny before leaping into the air.

In less than a second, the creature was sent launching upward via an uppercut by Danny Phantom.

With his speedy flight, Danny flew past the Goblin, reaching a point it was about to reach before swinging his leg downward, sending it downward.

"Going down?" Danny asks playfully.

"Prraghr!" The Goblin shouted before hitting the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

Once the dust cleared, Danny landed, finding the creature once again out cold.

He then picked the creature up by the wrist.

"My proof…" He said with a smile.

Elsewhere

A mine not far from where Danny knocked out the Goblin. One that two of these same creatures were entering after ensuring they weren't being followed.

''Kuku..." One was heard as it went inside to join it's allies.

"Grukuku." One went, carrying various tools and gadgets in its hands.

"Prakka!" The other, carrying nothing, said.

The other one made a hissing noise before continuing.

The two arrived at their destination. Down the caverns was a large cave, where over two dozen of these creatures were. All of them were speaking in their alien gibberish before one grabbed a wrench and threw it into another's head, making that metal sound again and doing that high-pitched hiss again, the shoulders moving as though laughing.

This angered the other, leading to the two tackling each other.

"PRAKA!" One yelled.

"KOKEEKA!" The other snarled.

As the two rolled on the ground, the rest of the creatures watched, all of them making sounds that could be perceived as either cheering or disapproval.

The two creatures ignored them and continued to fight each other.

The struggle caused another Goblin to get pushed into another, resulting in it being shoved. This led to another fight that caused these other Goblins to fight, leading to one being pushed into a large boulder.

This boulder was large, and did not look analogous to the rest of the cave. It was a grey color as opposed to the brown of the rest of the cave. It also looked like it was pushed into the wall, as though blocking a passageway.

"DON-DO!" Another voice was heard on the other side of the boulder.

The fighting continued before a new sound came that made them stop.

It sounded like bees buzzing, and got louder.

The Goblins all looked down the same direction, the cavern they all entered.

They saw something walking down towards them, something slim, taller than they are, and with blazing red eyes in a glare.

Once it reached the cave, the darkness hiding its appearance, the eyes squinted before the buzzing finally stopped.

The creatures remained silent.

"Krrugunu…" It went in that same odd alien sound.

"Prrarr!" One of them went.

''Kraa..." Another went.

It was then the being with red eyes noticed something was wrong. One was missing.

"Yaga Kru Don-Do! " It went, pointing to four that arrived with their missing ally.

The two creatures looked at each other for a moment before answering.

"Kryko-kokeekuu." One went, holding its hands up, showing the ectoranium dust.

"Burakoka!" One said, pointing to the other's hands.

The figure remained silent, yet the glare remained.

"Panunka! Dono-kuru kokoko!" One went.

That got its attention.

"Dono-kuru?" It went in a tone to suggest a question.

That one got on its knees and, sticking an index finger out, started to draw in the dirt.

The other Goblins huddled around, watching the drawing. However, there were too many blocking the way, which meant that the one with red eyes was growing in anger.

"Kuri kuri!" The one drawing went, sounding like a warning.

"Keekoru!" The figure shouted in a furious tone as its view was still blocked.

"Kaseku!" One shouted in a tone to suggest amusement.

They resumed the high-pitched hiss, looking amused. However, the amusement ended when the buzzing sound returned, causing all of them to straighten up and see the red-eyed one's glare now glowing. This caused all of them to part away quickly.

It then walked to the Goblin that was drawing, sharp claws came out.

As the Goblin that drew crawled away, it looked down at what was drawn.

A D shaped like an arcade ghost, with a line inside to make it look like the letter P was inside.

With that, the eyes' glow became brighter as the buzzing intensified.

"Gerru-gureh…" It went, snarling with anger.

Morning

The hotel in which the Fentons were staying at, everyone was getting up.

''What a beautiful morning..."Maddie said after looking out a window.

Jack opened the door to his and Maddie's suite with a grin.

"Breakfast buffet!" He declared happily.

He was loud enough that the door next to their room had a small figure phase through in baby blue pajamas and a smile as wide as possible.

"Breakfast? Buffet?" She asks.

Soon, she joined them while Maddie kept talking to her husband.

"Now remember, Jack. Be finished in one hour, we gotta get ready to go." Maddie tells him.

"Fine, fine… I'll try and eat as much as I can." Jack says.

''Me too..." Danielle said as they planned to pig out.

Meanwhile, Sam and Tucker had come out of the room they were sharing.

"So, can we come along this time?" Sam asks.

"I don't see why not." Maddie said.

"Yes." Sam went with a victorious smile and a fist pump.

"Ugh…" Tucker groaned in misery.

That is when another person joined them.

Danny yawned rather loudly, getting everyone's attention.

"You sure sound like you barely slept…" Jazz said.

"When did you fall asleep?" Sam asks.

That got everyone else's attention as eyes were on her and Tucker.

"Danny? Did you come back as soon as you left?" Maddie asks.

Danny's eyes widened as they were talking about him in his presence.

"Honestly, we fell asleep pretty soon." Tucker went.

''And I don't think we heard him come back any time before midnight..." Sam added.

"I… uh… took a long way around." Danny said.

"No fair, you got to enjoy the beauty of nature without me…" Sam muttered.

Danny recalled last night and cringed a bit.

"I wouldn't say… enjoyed." He says before a smile comes to his mind. "Actually… after breakfast, there's something I need to show you all."

''What is it?...'Tucker asked, curious.

'Did you find a beautiful flower in the wild? Please tell me you took a photo instead of plucking it? Because while it's less romantic, it's much safer for the environment." Sam said quickly with a smile.

Her boyfriend shook his head.

"You'll see…"

After Breakfast

Danny lead everyone someplace private to talk.

"Danny? Why are you sneaking us downstairs to the maintenance room?" Jazz asks.

''You'll see..." He said.

"We better..." Maddie said with arms crossed.

Once they were there, he turned to everyone.

"Okay… so… I wasn't really enjoying the scenery of Kentucky." Danny admits as he placed his hands together

"You didn't?" Tucker asks.

''What were you doing?" Sam asked suspiciously.

"I was… looking for the Goblins." Danny said quickly.

''Goblins?" They all asked at the same time.

After a long pause, varying opinions were brought up.

"Just to make sure we all heard that... you said Goblins?" Jazz repeated.

"Seriously? You're looking for aliens while I was waiting for you?" Sam questioned.

"Did you get a space rock from them?" Danielle asked eagerly.

"Did you get two for us?!" Jack also asked eagerly.

"What did they look like?" Tucker asks.

"Seriously?" Jazz asked incredulously.

"You left just to chase some fairy tale?!" Maddie questioned, not happy he left for that.

The others sent her a look.

"Come on, Mrs. F. What's the harm?" Tucker asks.

"The harm is he's hurting our credibility if someone finds out our son is chasing after creatures that don't exist!" Maddie said with her arms crossed, making Tucker flinch.

Before Danny could speak up, Jazz beat him to it.

"Uh, Mom? You and Dad were dedicated to hunting ghosts without ever having seen one before." Jazz reminds her.

Maddie actually flinched at that but tried to stand her ground.

"Look, ghosts are a thing, cloning is a thing and, apparently from what we've been told, time travel is a thing. But there is no such thing… and I will repeat myself… no such things… as aliens!" She declared.

Danny crossed his arms and had a smug smile on his face.

"Really?" He said before reaching for the door behind his back. "Tell that…" He swung the door open. "To him!"

Everyone looked inside the door and saw it, much to their shock.

They saw the same small creature Danny knocked out the night before, wrists having a bent piece of metal as makeshift cuffs, preventing it from making an escape as it continued to try and break free by banging the metal on the metal pipe it was wrapped around. Upon seeing the others, it hissed at them with that same emotionless expression on its apparent helmet.

"BRAKA!" It went in rage.

Special thanks to Flower princess11 for helping me on this.

And now Danny Phantom has met and fought with aliens, aliens that seem to have plans.

But how is it they had ectoranium? And why does it seem they knew he was coming?

We'll find out the answers soon, but now we'll find out next time how they'll react to an actual alien.

RonaldM40196867: Yeah, didn't want to do the same thing. I'll add more animals. Not sure on Spidey, and The Ghost and Molly McGee is too recent.

Invader Johnny: Didn't know you were a history buff. And yeah, poor Danny's got a goony girl after him.

Chanderx93: Seguro que puede serlo, ya que esta vez no está buscando fantasmas.

Khy Dragon: I hope it was.

GhostRider00: Because I'm not really much of an Addams Family fan.

Leonardo: Walshop is definitely Walmart, meant to be a joke on how they're everywhere. Let's see... Mami Tomoe is one I haven't drawn or written about yet... I also should get to that Middleton Haunting at some point.

pokemon fan 1991: Sadly, this isn't a crossover, so Deadpool can't help him out.
