Nenet watched as Bergljot hovered in the air, flames shooting from the soles of her feet. She was once against practicing her flying, and while she had gotten the basic movements down pretty well at this point, she was still struggling to find out how to move more fluidly and maneuver around like Lacerta and Nenet did.

"You're still too stiff. You have to loosen up," Nenet advised.

"Shut up…" Bergljot growled. She was trying to concentrate, which had been hard to do ever since the other girl had shown up. When she had first sensed that she had arrived she thought it was an enemy, but then quickly realized it was just the hybrid coming for another visit.

And now she was just standing there watching her. Which kind of irked her. She was used to the rest of the King's Crew (and her) being noisy and loud. It was honestly good practice to tune out distractions. But her just standing there watching her silently was somehow even more annoying.

"Do you want a little advice? Because I'm pretty sure I could help you out," Nenet said, smirking as she crossed her arms. She knew how prideful the redhead could be about stuff like this. She was a lot like Lacerta on that front.

Bergljot grunted, clearly not wanting to have to take advice or get help from the other girl. She had just barely gotten comfortable getting advice and help from Lacerta, and even that was something she didn't particularly like having to do. "Aw c'mon, what's the worst that can happen? Either you get the hang of it or you're stuck where ya are now. Might as well hear me out, yeah?" she asked.

Bergljot was silent for a few more moments, and then grunted again. "Fine, what's your advice?" she asked, crossing her arms.

"Relax."

"What?"

"Relax," Nenet repeated.

"Relax what?"

"Everything. You're way too tense. If you wanna move around more freely ya gotta learn how to untense your muscles and move like… like water I guess. Be flowy."

Bergljot raised an eyebrow. "That sounds foolish. It can't be that simple."

"It can, and it is. Look, just… try and think of a time when you're relaxed. When you're having fun. What do you and hot head do when you want to have a good time?"

Bergljot thought for a moment. "We fight," she said, balling her fist up.

Nenet clicked her tongue. Well, she should have figured it was something like that. But at least it was better than the other answer she had half been expecting. "Okay, not the best example. Something else? Like… oh, remember when we danced at that party? Ya were relaxed then, right?" she asked.

Bergljot shrugged her shoulders. "I guess." It hadn't been the worst thing she'd ever done. But she didn't exactly know what it had to do with this.

"Then let's do it. Right now," Nenet said.

Bergljot tilted her head, clearly confused. "What? How is dancing going to help me learn to fly better? This is stupid. I shouldn't have-"

"Look red! Dancing is the only thing that might get you relaxed! And if you're relaxed you'll fly better!" Nenet argued. "C'mon, just give it a shot. Like I said, ya got nothing to lose. If it doesn't work I'll buzz off and let you do your own thing."

She held her hand out, and Bergljot looked down at it skeptically. This just seemed silly, but it wasn't like she was getting anywhere on her own. She sighed before reaching out and taking it. "There isn't even any music. How are we supposed to dance?" she asked.

Nenet pulled out her phone. "Oh, we got music. Ya really got to learn how to use a phone. Or a mirror. Or whatever the hell ya use on Asgard or whatever," she said, skimming through her music selection. Once she found a song she liked, she hit play and then set it on the ground nearby. "Okay, let's do this."

As the music started going, Nenet moved around with the beat and pulled Bergljot with her. The redhead moved along with her, though clearly wasn't as into it as Nenet was. The party was one thing since it was more or less a similar atmosphere to the parties on Asgard, which was still strange for her, but something she was used to.

But she was still rather pumped up from training, so it was hard for her to suddenly just turn down and loosen up out of nowhere.

Nenet noticed she was still more than a little stiff and decided to encourage her. "C'mon, I know ya can do better than that. Move with the music," she said, bumping her hip with her own. "Don't think about it, just go with it."

Bergljot sighed again before doing her best to untense her muscles and just moved. She wasn't really moving in line with the music, but Nenet could at least tell that she was slowly managing to relax some. So she just let her keep going. As they moved around, Bergljot finally loosened up.

She wasn't moving as stiffly as before, and while her dancing skills left a lot to be desired, she seemed to be getting into it. "Alright, there we go. Now, keep up that same groove and just…" Nenet shot flames from her feet, hovering in the air. "Remember, don't tense up," she reminded.

Bergljot let out just enough flames from her feet and began to hover in the air as well, making sure not to stiffen or tighten her muscles back as she did. Nenet flew over towards her and grabbed her hands again. "Just just get used to moving like that. Just do what ya did before, like…"

Nenet moved, guiding Bergljot along with her.

They hovered through the air, and though it took a moment, Bergljot was moving just as fluidly as she had been on the ground. Nenet laughed at the expression on Bergljot's face. It was still focused, but not nearly as intense. She dipped the redhead. "Having fun yet?" she asked.

Bergljot grunted. "Whatever."

Nenet smirked. "Awwww, ya cute when ya lying." Bergljot narrowed her eyes, and a movement later Nenet had to duck out of the way of the other girl's fist. "Hah! Missed me, now ya gotta kiss-! Gah?!" She let go and backed away from Bergljot, who popped each of her knuckles. "Someone's testy…"

Bergljot hummed. "Well, you said have fun…"

Nenet clicked her tongue. Of course taking a swing at someone was her version of fun. But she could work with this. It actually was in her favor. "Alright then, let's have some more. Catch me if ya can." Nenet turned around and flew off, and Bergljot blinked in confusion. Then she smirked and went after her.

She raced after Nenet, who made her way towards one of the towers of the castle and skillfully flew around the side of it. Bergljot moved after her, the two spiraling around until they reached the top and then shooting out away from the castle grounds.

Nenet looked over her shoulder and saw Bergljot was starting to gain on her. The girl had some serious firepower. She had to give her that. But she wanted to see if she was still as loosened up as before. She spotted the old ruins that Lacerta and the guys usually trained at and dived down towards it.

She slipped inside through a broken hole, and Bergljot rushed in after her. Nenet began moving and weaving between the old wall and beams. If Bergljot was still loose she'd be able to keep track of her. And if she wasn't… well, she was bound to hear her crashing through everything to get after her soon.

When she turned her head back to check, she was surprised to see Bergljot moving around everything in her way rather easily. Not just barreling through it. "Looks like ya got the hang of it after all!" she shouted back, flipping between a small opening in the wall ahead.

She looked back to see if Bergljot was going to slip through as well, but then saw her just smash through the top of it, grabbing onto a piece of ruble and then throwing it towards Nenet. She yelped before moving out of the way, only to be tackled by Bergljot. The two both fell, rolling around the ground before falling onto their backs.

They both looked up towards the sky, trying to catch their breaths. "Ya cheated on that last one red…" Nenet said. "Ya just give up on being loose or…?"

Bergljot grunted. "I couldn't fit through that last one. I'm not as puny as you."

"Hey, I ain't puny. I'm just a lot of badass packed into a small package… good job by the way. A little bit more practice and you might be as good as me soon."

Bergljot actually smirked. "I'm gonna be better than you…"

Nenet laughed. "Fat chance. But bring it on." She then sat up and began stretching. "But seriously, that whole thing had got me starving. I'm gonna grab me something to eat. Don't know what I'm in the mood for though… maybe some pizza… or takeout. I could down an entire cheesecake too. Maybe I'll just get everything." Bergljot just grunted in response. "Ya wanna tag along red? I'll treat. Can't turn down a free cheesesteak, right?"

"I don't know what a cheesesteak is…"

"What?" Nenet asked. "What about burgers?"

"No."

"Chinese food?"

"I've never been to the Chinese pantheon…"

"Oh hell no!" Nenet said, shaking her head. "C'mon. We're gonna hit some some food places on earth and get you a real meal. Lucky for you I know all the best food spots in Townsville."

Lacerta cracked his neck as he made his way into the kitchen. He'd just gotten back from a training session with his grandfather and was starving. When he entered through the door, a flavorful smell hit his nostrils. He looked over towards the table and saw Nenet and Bergljot sitting there.

There was a spread of different foods across the table. "What the hell?" he asked, looking back and forth between the two.

Nenet was chewing another dumpling from her plate, while Bergljot was struggling to pick one up with her chopsticks. "What the hell is right, hot head. How haven't you brought this girl to earth and have her get some real food yet?" she asked, sounding almost insulted. She noticed Bergljot still struggling and then sighed. "Here."

She picked up one of the dumplings with her chopsticks and held it out towards her. Bergljot practIcally lunged at the food, snapping down on it and part of the chopsticks. Nenet looked at them and blinked. "Huh…"

Bergljot grumpily chewed her food. "It's good."

Lacerta scoffed. "Well why'd you bring all this shit back-"

Nenet shoved a still wrapped burger in his mouth, cutting him off. "Don't get butt hurt, I didn't forget about ya, Hot Head. I got ya favorite grub too, but don't even touch my milkshakes or I will cut ya. I ain't joking," she warned.

Lacerta pulled the burger out of his mouth and smirked. "Sure, sure. Keep your milkshakes or whatever. But that cake is mine."

Nenet raised an eyebrow. "What ca-" Lacerta gave her a hard slap on the rear, nearly making her drop her chopsticks. She clicked her tongue. "Very funny."
