Chapter 13: Danny Makes his Choice

"There will be no peace… only agreement to our terms. What say you, Danny Phantom?" Ma-Jinoh questioned.

"I say… if you won't leave peacefully and leave Earth alone, I'll bury you!" Danny shouted.

"If you do so… the female goes with us." Ma-Jinoh said as he pointed at Sam, still kept in one Goblin's arms around her neck.

Sam grunted as the creature pulled her downward, bending her back as she was unable to get up or get away due to its surprising amount of strength from it.

"Eekogahbah!" The Goblin went.

"If you have any ideas, Danny… now is a good time to use them!" Sam called out.

Before Danny could do something, someone else stepped in to save the day with a kick to the creature's stomach, making it let go of Sam before a fist to its face sends it flying back.

"Back off!" Dani went.

Sam, having fallen on the ground, got on her knees and dusted herself clean.

"Took you long enough." She said, looking annoyed.

To her surprise, Dani Phantom glared back at her.

"You're not exactly innocent here… you went here to warn them, didn't you?"

"I had to! I couldn't let you guys just blow these guys up!" Sam defended herself.

Ma-Jinoh, watching, scoffed.

"And that is why you're the most inferior human we have seen. At least those native to this location have no issue taking up arms against us." He said before pointing at the three. "Deal with them!"

The Goblins did as ordered and began rushing towards the three.

Acting fast, Danny sent two ghost rays, knocking two that were running on all fours onto their backs. Seeing them still coming, he reached out for Dani.

"Sis!" He said.

"On it!" She said before taking his hand.

With that, Danny stomped his feet and swung Dani, her feet glowing as she stuck her legs out. She managed to kick in the face of several Goblins, sending them flying back. Once Danny finished the 180 degree spin, set Dani back on her feet as she then swung her own arm, making Danny go over her head, firing a blast at Ma-Jinoh, who used his power over gravity to use a Goblin as a shield before tossing it aside.

"You will either aid us or suffer!" Ma-Jinoh went.

At this point, Sam gritted her teeth and pulled out a weapon. It was a wrist blaster, which she put on.

Danny and Dani stood side by side.

"Ready?" Danny asks.

Sam then stood between the two, performing the crane stance.

"Ready!" She went.

"Uh… no. You're in trouble, remember?" Dani points out as she and Sam glared at each other.

"Watch it! I was part of this team while you were still a blood vessel." Sam responded.

"She's right, Sam. Besides, my parents' stuff won't be that effective against anything not a ghost." Danny said.

"Uh, I don't do the sidelines…" Sam said with her arms crossed.

"Well… you're gonna have to compromise." Danny said.

"I don't compromise…" She insists defiantly.

"And look where that got us." Dani points out, gesturing to all extraterrestrials surrounding them.

Sam huffed before turning her back to her.

With that, Danny and Dani rushed to do battle with the aliens.

8 Goblins jumped at them, leaving it 4 to 1.

Danny threw one punch, hitting one of them in the face, but two of them grabbed him by the shoulders. Realizing they have ectoranium dust on their claws, he's unable to phase out of their grip before he flew backwards, hitting the two into the rock wall to make them let go.

"You need to learn some new tricks, like playing dead!" He said before he grabbed one Goblin by the leg and used him as a weapon, hitting the first two Goblins before throwing it towards the last Goblin, causing them to stumble on the ground. But they shook it off and growled at him.

They then rushed towards him and leapt at him, claws ready. Danny jumped back to avoid the first Goblin, but the second Goblin got him on the shoulder, slashing with its claws. Danny winced before he caught the third Goblin and slammed it to the ground before he swung a kick into the last Goblin's head, sending him flying like a soccer ball.

Dani, meanwhile, kicked one such creature in the face before punching another that followed after. She then fired a ball of ectoplasm towards the Goblins, which exploded when one of the Goblins swiped at it, sending them scattering. But aside from the burn marks, they appeared unharmed.

"These things sure know how to take a hit, at least…" Dani points out.

"Just keep punching until they're worn out, they can't be that durable if we can kick them around so easily." Danny suggested as he threw a vicious kick to one Goblin before one grabbed him from behind. He managed to grab it before he smashed it to the ground.

"Eat dirt!" He said before levitating his feet and using flight to slide the creature on the ground, collecting dirt on its face.

Dani nodded and ducked when one lunged at her with its claws at the front. She grabbed it by the foot and threw it back to the other Goblins, who moved aside to avoid getting hit.

"Try better, you fried chicken rejects!" she exclaimed.

"Fried chicken?" Danny asked, giving her a confused look.

"You know, Kentucky Goblins, KFC, I thought that was the most obvious joke." She explained as the Goblins rushed towards her.

"Grrrkrrough!" One of them went.

"I don't know what you said, but back at ya!" Dani said before kneeing it in the face.

Danny saw the Goblins rush towards him as well. Three jumped to the air, distracting him as the fourth one attached itself to his leg.

"Hey!" he exclaimed. He started shaking his leg to get it off him, but it was holding on him like a vice grip. The other three Goblins landed on him, he started hopping on one leg to get them off him. They started clawing at him, making him growl as his eyes glowed brightly. "Get off me!" he exclaimed as he released an expulsion aura that sent the four Goblins off him. One recovered quickly and charged at him, but Danny just moved aside and kicked the Goblin from behind, sending it through the ground before it stopped as the other Goblins charged at him again.

The Goblin stood back up, shaking its head. It didn't see Sam, who was sneaking behind it, carrying a rock. With a scream, she slammed the rock on its head.

"Take this!" She said, trying to knock the creature out, only for the rock to break upon impact, much to her shock. "Well… that didn't work…" She muttered.

The Goblin turned to her and growled. She then ran away with the Goblin right behind her, claws ready to tear her apart. The two Phantoms saw this and they both sighed tiredly.

"Stay still, she just needed to stay still…is that so hard?" Danny grumbled under his breath before he threw the Goblin he was holding, hitting the Goblin chasing her.

Meanwhile

In the larger room housing the spaceship, the four taller Goblins were overseeing the finishing repairs to the ship when the sounds grew louder.

"Grkrruhk?" One went in the tone of a question.

"Keekoru!" Another responded.

Before they were about to make a move, a loud noise was heard. Directing their attention to the tunnel Sam came from, they heard it getting louder.

"Khuruh?" One asks.

Then a pair of headlights suddenly appeared as they grew brighter, since it was clear it was getting closer.

The Goblins gathered at the entrance into the cavern before they realized what it was.

The Fenton RV, going at over 60 MPH, just rammed several Goblins and sent them flying back. The RV skidded before coming to a complete stop.

"Whether human, ghost or anything else… NOBODY MESSES WITH JACK FENTON'S WHEELS!" Jack called out in a furious tone.

"And now… taste our Earthly science!" Maddie called out as she aimed her blaster.

''Grkrruhk!" One of the knocked down Goblins snarled.

The group slowly tried to get back up, ready to assault their intruders.

As the Fenton parents got out of the RV and aimed, Jazz stepped out calmly while Tucker fell to his knees and threw up on the cave floor.

"You wouldn't be like this if you knew you shouldn't have eaten so much of something you're not familiar with…" Jazz commented.

"No regrets…" Tucker moaned.

"Sure, you say that now…" Jazz muttered.

''Huh?" He asked but was ignored.

"Now then, let's-" Jack's attention was directed to something else, something that made his rage go. "Oh my goodness… Maddie?"

"Jack…what is it?" Maddie questioned in an impatient way before turning her head. "It'd better be-" She too saw it and her rage also disappeared. "... good."

The two were staring at the cigar-shaped spaceship, stunned before the two stepped closer, observing the bus-sized craft as if it were a museum art piece.

"So big… so shiny…" Jack went in awe before whistling like he saw a beautiful woman.

"So sleek… even being cooped up in here for decades it's in such ideal condition… It's… beautiful…" Maddie went as she took her hood off to get a good look at it with her own eyes.

Their daughter, however, didn't share those feelings as she continued to ignore Tucker in favor of reminding them what they were doing.

"Uh, Mom? Dad? Please remember we're here to blow it up if they try anything…" Jazz reminded as the Goblins started circling them.

"B-b-but look at this thing, Princess! It's a work of art!" Jack said urgently.

"Something like this can't just be destroyed… I haven't seen inside yet!" Maddie whined like a little girl.

"Seriously?!" Jazz went.

Her parents looked disappointed as they realized she was right.

"Fine…" Both of them went, pouting and slouching in disappointment.

Tucker finally stopped vomiting as he got up and noticed certain aliens surrounding them.

"I don't think they'll give you time for either option." He said.

The Fentons then were once again aware as the aliens approached them.

"Braakhraa!" One of the taller Goblins went.

"I don't suppose you boys will let us get a good look at the inside of your ship?" Jack asks.

It responded by pointing at Jack.

"Krerrghrr? Ononon gononon!" It went.

Suddenly, the Goblins slowly started to make their way to the humans.

Tucker then bolted back inside the RV as Jazz took up a blaster, Maddie readied her two-sided saber and Jack held up his Jack-o-nine tails.

"So, can I pin you down for a no?" He asks as he readies for battle.

A roundhouse kick to the head sent the Goblin into a wall. Another Goblin tried to attack from behind, but Danny thought fast and blasted it in the face, sending it backward.

"Okay, I'm not sure I can keep this up all night…" Danny said.

"I'm getting tired too…" Dani responded as she remained in the air to avoid several silver claws trying to reach her.

Sam, meanwhile, tried to keep away from the Goblins by firing at their feet to make them keep their distance.

"Back off! You evil cow killers!" She shouted. One of them did a high-pitched hiss, "laughing" at her. This turned her red with anger. "Stop laughing at me!"

Before they could do anything, one of the taller Goblins somersaulted over its kin and landed in front of Sam.

She attempted to fire, but it kicked up at her wrist, making her miss and hit the cavern ceiling, causing a bit of stone to fall off and avoided by some extraterrestrials.

They snarled in anger as Sam tried to get away before two of them grabbed her by the arms.

"Donon-guronon…" The taller Goblin went in a more guttural sounding voice before it was hit in the head by a large metal fist.

To Sam's relief, it was Jack Fenton. The two Goblins grabbing her arms were hit in the head by an ectosaber wielded by Maddie Fenton.

Unsurprisingly, they looked angry and ready to fight back as they faced the aliens.

"Eat Earth metals, space cases!" Jack said as he used the Jack-o-nine tails on one of them.

"Taste this, you extraterrestrial terrors!" Maddie shouted as she swung at one Goblin, sending it flying like a baseball.

With that, Maddie took Sam by the wrist and pulled her along until they reached the RV and opened the door. Sam sighed in relief as she leaned on the wall of the RV.

"Thanks, Mr. and Mrs. Fen-"

Her relief was short lived as she noticed the intensely furious look on Maddie's face. One look from her made Jack flinch.

"I'll… go help the kids…" He said as he bolted out.

Tucker, meanwhile, turned his head away, knowing what's about to happen.

"Sam… what in the world were you thinking?!" She called out.

"I was trying to stop you from killing those things!" Sam admits before rolling her eyes. "Then I found out what they were doing to poor cows, so-"

"Oh, so because of the cows you're agreeing to do it?" Maddie questioned.

Hearing that made Sam gasp and shake her head.

"NO! I mean… I don't want to kill anyone! Even if they hurt cows!"

"Really?" Maddie questioned, unwilling to believe her.

"Yes, really..." Sam said, being stubborn. "Look, I know these aliens are awful, especially after what they have done but taking their lives is wrong!" Sam said, still convinced that she was in the right.

To her dismay, the angry look on Mrs. Fenton's face remained, but now it was disappointed and even disgusted.

"I cannot believe that you're so determined to prove you're right that you put yourself in harm's way and let them know what we were up to. " Maddie said with an intense expression. Sam was surprised but was cut off when the woman continued. "I shouldn't be too surprised you wouldn't care what others think, seeing as it's why you cause nothing but trouble." She said coldly.

"What are you talking about?" Sam asked, not liking this.

"Truth be told, Sam... I've never approved of you being friends with Danny. Not only have your parents always been rude towards us but your attitude has always been unbearable and disrespectful. And you always came off as a bad influence on Danny, what with your anti-authority ideas, dark outlook and stubbornness." Maddie admits.

"Wait... really?!" Sam asks.

"Really... the only reason I didn't say anything is because of how close you two are... and when you started dating I decided to stay quiet..." Maddie said as she got angrier. "Then I found out you're the one who convinced him to go into the portal... which, for all you know, could've killed him!."

Sam flinched at that and tried to defend herself.

"Danny wanted to go inside the portal, I just convinced him to give it a try..." Sam argued.

''But he knew that he shouldn't! Jack and I told him not to go near it or even be in the lab when we weren't around because we had no idea what would happen and you just went and risked getting him fried!" Maddie yelled in outrage.

"That… makes it sound terrible…" Sam said.

"It is! I almost banned you from our house until Danny convinced me otherwise! On top of all that, you convinced him NOT to tell us what happened or that he had powers! Why did you convince my son he couldn't tell us?!" She shouted.

Sam gulped and felt herself in hot water.

"I didn't mean to but Danny and I were worried that you guys wouldn't understand or accept him..." Sam argued and Maddie looked insulted.

"He is my son, how could you think that we're anything like your parents?!" Maddie yelled.

"It's just… they don't accept me for who I am." Sam defended weakly.

"Can't imagine why not…" Maddie muttered sarcastically.

"I never meant to cause trouble! I just wanted Danny to feel that it was okay for him to be unique." Sam tried to defend herself.

"That's supposed to make me feel better?!" Maddie snapped.

"Mrs. Fenton, I-" Sam was cut off when she saw the terrifying look on the woman's face.

It actually scared her for a moment as Maddie pointed at her.

"From now on, if you want to remain on this team… you listen! You don't go about with your way of doing things if it goes behind our backs! And don't give me the not a pushover nonsense! Because I happen to be a stronger pusher than you think!" Maddie warned.

"W-What are you saying?" Sam asks.

"Sam... if you even think of doing something like this behind our backs ever again... I will personally make sure your parents ship you to boarding school and I don't care what Danny says..." Maddie said in a quiet, yet terrifying, tone.

Sam had her head down, feeling upset and guilty.

"Yes…" She said.

Without saying a word, Maddie pulled her hood back on and left the RV, locking it on the way.

She didn't even bother to look back at Sam as she did so.

As Sam sulked, Tucker cleared his throat.

"So… wanna… watch a movie in here as I turn the shield on?" She didn't answer. "No?" Tucker quickly realized his attempts at humor aren't working right now. "I'll just stay in this corner after I turn the shield on…"

Outside

Jack's fist, armed with the ghost gloves, is sent flying into one alien's helmeted face, launching it into a wall.

"Who wants a piece of Jack Fenton?!" Jack called out.

At the same time, Jazz finds the Fenton Ghost Peeler among the technology stolen in a pile, pulling it out and activating it. Once the armor covered her body, she joined her father by kicking an alien that was about to attack him from behind.

"Dad, what do we do?" She asks.

"We show 'em we mean business on this beautiful blue marble." Jack said before one creature tried to grab hold of Jazz and he grabbed it by the head, picking it up.

"Gon-nananan!" It went, slashing in the air at Jack's face.

"Back off, she's a minor!" Jack said before tossing it away.

Two screeching Goblins were running on all fours at the two and Jack went to his daughter's defense. He stood in their path and readied his fist. However, once he swung, the two jumped out of the way, landing on his shoulders before they grabbed his hair and started pulling, making him hiss in pain. However, he wasn't in so much pain he couldn't move, as he managed to reach up and grab the two by the waist and squeeze until they let go. Once they did so, he swung downward and slammed the two into the ground. However, that's when one Goblin in particular made its presence known to Jack by landing between the two.

It was one of the taller Goblins, the ones of greater physical prowess, and it snarled in a guttural tone. After making a barking sound at Jack, it jumped up and kicked him in the abdominal region, pushing him back. Once Jack was able to stand more stably, he tried to swing his punch, but the creature pulled its head back, avoiding his blow. Undaunted, Jack tried again, the Goblin ducked out of the way. That's when Jack chose to uppercut the creature, only for it to pull back. Once it did, it saw an opening and tackled Jack into the ground. Jack groaned upon hitting the cave floor, seeing the creature about to attack him. However, a green saber swung and attempted to hit the creature, but it became aware of the attempted attack and jumped back to avoid it.

Maddie, holding that same weapon, sent a chilling glare as she stood between it and her husband, activating defensively for the latter.

"I'm in a less forgiving mood right now, so if you can understand me, know that I will show no mercy!" Maddie warned.

The creature made a high-pitched hiss, doing its version of laughing off her threat.

It then ignored her in favor of a sound it heard from its right. Flying above its head were two Goblins, both bouncing on the floor before sliding on it.

The person who sent the flying, Danny Phantom, came flying at the taller Goblin.

"Stay away from my parents!" He said upon tackling the Goblin, carrying it away from his parents.

As he sped up, attempting to send the creature into the wall, the Goblin managed to crawl onto Danny's back before hopping and kicking him into the floor.

Upon hitting the ground and kicking up the dirt, Danny got on his knees and used his hands to prop himself up. After shaking his head, Danny saw that same Goblin, with another as tall as the other, now surrounding him.

"Brk-brk-brk!" The one on Danny's left went.

"Krk-krkh!" The one on his right responded.

"Can we hurry this up? I have a relationship to try and save!" Danny responded.

Ignoring him, the two aliens chose to attack, claws ready. Danny made a dome shield to protect himself.

As the two tried to claw their way in, each slash weakening the shield due to the ectoranium dust on their claws, Danny thought hard.

These are two of the creeps that are definitely better fighters than the rest, save for their boss. What do I do? He thought.

His answer came as one was kicked in the face by an invisible girl hovering off the ground. As the Goblin hit the ground, the other stopped the attack and went to aid its ally. That's when it was blasted by the invisible girl, who turned visible again.

Relieved, Danny lowered his dome.

"Sis!" He said in relief.

"These guys are too tough, we need to stop them fast. Maybe we should… y'know…" She used her thumb to gesture the motion of cutting her neck.

Danny flinched.

"I may not like what Sam did… but I'm still not sure I can do it." Danny said.

"Yeah… me neither…" Dani admits with a sigh.

What now?" Danny suggests.

Dani looked around, realizing something and nodded.

"Okay… Here's a new suggestion that could satisfy everyone here. Let's destroy that ship and block all exits out of here!" She says.

"That could work." Danny said.

However, her idea was not only heard by Danny, but by the Goblins who she knocked down.

"Gorgrrrugh khuhhrk! Parahk! Pruhk! Gah-guun rah!" One called out.

It reached on in particular, who hovered into the air and glared at the two.

"You will be exterminated!" Ma-Jinoh called out, pointing at the two Phantoms.

"And that's our cue…" Danny said as the two flew upward.

"Do not let them succeed!" Ma-Jinoh ordered.

The aliens got more hostile as the two saw their parents and sister fighting off the aliens surrounding them.

"Guys!" Danny called out as the two flew in and kicked two aliens away in the head.

"We gotta bury these guys! Let's start with the ship!" Dani said.

"Right… let's blow it up!" Danny added.

Jack and Maddie looked alarmed and even shocked at that.

"B-B-But… it's beautiful!" They went in unison.

"MOM! DAD!" Danny called them out.

His parents sighed in unison.

"Fine…" They said in unison, defeated.

Meanwhile, inside, Sam heard that and seemed relieved.

"Bury them? I guess… that could work." She said.

"There ya go." Tucker went, his mouth full of chips, much to Sam's annoyance. "What? What'd I say?" He asks absentmindedly with bits of chips falling out his mouth.

At the same time, Danny and Dani remained on the defense as the rest of the Fentons aimed their blasters at the ship.

"Ready?! Fire!" Jack said as he, Maddie and Jazz fired their blasters.

However, a series of large rocks flew in thanks to Ma-Jinoh, blocking the shots by taking their force instead.

"Uh oh…" Jack said.

Ma-Jinoh landed not far from them as his Goblins were behind him.

"None of you will survive if you continue!" He shouted before pointing at them. "Surrender!" While the Fentons steeled themselves, Ma-Jinoh's impatience became clear. "Allocated surrender period has expired, consequence extermination!"

Seeing all of the Goblins marching towards the Fentons, Sam decided she couldn't take it.

"I gotta stop this. Maybe I can still get them to see reason?" She said as she bolted out.

"Sam!" Tucker called out as he's forced to close the door.

"Wait!" Sam called out, getting between everyone.

All eyes were on her as Maddie glared.

"What'd I say earlier?!" She called out.

"Just give me a shot!" Sam said before looking back at the Goblins. "Look, I totally understand it, you hate this place. But you don't have to hurt anyone anymore! It's obvious they won't let you hurt anyone so please stop this! Maybe we can work something out! Maybe we can do a non-profit organization to help you guys if it means you don't have to hurt anyone anymore!"

Ma-Jinoh only glared at her.

"You have irritated me long enough!" He points at her.

Sam soon found herself hovered upward.

"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" She cried out.

"Sam!" Danny said as he raced to her.

"Exterminate her!" Ma-Jinoh ordered as one Goblin came running at her.

"Graka!" It went.

"No!" Danny called out as he flew towards Sam.

Danny reached her and grabbed her by the hand, pulling her. However, he wasn't fast enough as the Goblin reached out for her, grabbing her foot.

"Gruh-gruh!" It called out.

"Must I do everything?!" Ma-Jinoh shouted as he used his gravity power on the Gobin instead. "Exterminate!" He shouted.

The Goblin was made heavier, pulling Sam with it as she slipped out of Danny's hand.

"Sam!" Danny called out.

He was too late as she and the Goblin fell, both feeling the effects of gravity that's been increased thanks to alien technology.

Her knee then hit the ground.

"ACK!" She went before reaching for her knee, hissing in pain.

"Sam?!" Danny flew to her and tried to help her up. He saw the Goblin try to get up, only to blast it away. "Get away from her!" He called out before redirecting his attention to his girlfriend. "Sam?!"

Sam breathed heavily as she gripped her knee.

"It hurts… I think I scraped it…" She said.

Danny was about to pick her up to carry her to safety, but two Goblins came running at him.

"GRAA KRLLL!" They snarled at them.

"Get away from my boy and his girlfriend!" Jack called out.

The aliens then turned to him.

"Grappa kerklkkh grappa!" One said as it pointed at Jack.

Jack tries to fight back, but two of the taller Goblins tackle him into the ground before he gets dogpiled by Goblins.

"Jack!" Maddie called out as one of the taller Goblins kicked her in the stomach, making her fall.

"Mom?! Dad?!" Jazz said as two of the Goblins grabbed her by the hand and pulled hard, keeping her from aiding.

Dani fired at the aliens trying to keep them away.

"I got this!" Dani went, kicking one in the head. "Let's see-" She failed to notice one Goblin behind her before it slashed at her leg.

With a gasp, she fell to the ground, alerting her brother.

"Danielle!"

She forcibly morphed back to human form, clutching her leg which had three small cuts, hissing in pain.

''Ow… huu... It burns!" She let out as she teared up from the pain from how deep the cuts felt.

At that same time, more aliens surrounded the RV again.

"Ha! You can't get in!" Tucker called out. However, one of the Goblins grabbed hold of a rock and, realizing that rock is neither organic or ectoplasmic, Tucker's grin left him. "Oh no…"

The rock was thrown, going past the shield and hitting the shield generator on the roof, breaking it and turning the shield off.

"Keeko!" One went as they hurried over and forced the doors open, forcing Tucker out.

"GUYS!" Tucker called out.

Seeing Tucker also in danger, Danny Phantom felt he was running out of options as the leader of these aliens spoke to him.

"If you will not aid, one of them will be destroyed!" Ma-Jinoh said.

Danny looked at everyone, then at Sam.

"Don't do it Danny… there has to be another way." She pleaded.

Sighing hard, he looked to Ma-Jinoh.

"Okay… you win. I'll help you." Danny said.

"We do not believe you. How are we to know if you will not betray us just as your mate betrayed your trust?" He asks.

Feeling hurt at being reminded, Danny steeled himself.

"I won't." He said.

"I repeat, we do not believe you. Exterminate one of them! Show we are not to be trifled with!" Ma-Jinoh ordered.

Danny glared at him.

"I said I'll do it! I surrender!" He yelled.

"Allocated surrender period has expired. Consequence: one will suffer extermination!" Ma-Jinoh stated.

Seeing everyone either too hurt to fight back or physically unable to, Danny saw one Goblin running at him and Sam.

Looking around at his parents still physically unable to fight back due to being either dogpiled or forcibly having their arms and legs held onto, his older sister surrounded and her arms impaired, his younger sister on the ground and hurt, his best friend with having claws all over to keep him from getting away and his girlfriend injured, Danny felt time come to a halt.

It didn't, it's just that at that moment, he realized what he must do to show the Goblins he means to stop them. Now, he realizes he has no other option but to compromise.

He turned his head to face Sam and the look on his face made it clear what he was thinking.

"No…" She whispered with a pleading look on his face.

"I'm sorry… I've made my choice…" He said to her.

With that, he turned his head and faced the Goblin as it leapt at them, intending to attack Sam.

''No!" Sam yelled.

"Grakaka!" It said, coming at them.

Danny saw this and knew that he had to do it now.

I'm sorry… He thought as he made a fist and energy came out.

Suddenly, a sound was heard that caught everyone's attention. The sound of a blade hitting metal before a softer sound was heard.

Everyone ceased what they were doing as they all directed their attention to it.

They saw Danny Phantom creating an ectoplasmic construct with his hand, a glowing blade. This was a power he normally used in the form of either discs or shields, but now he's using it for a melee weapon.

And it impaled a Goblin.

New chapter with thanks to Flower princess11 and TheWhiteTitan.

And now... with some Doctor Who reference to the Daleks and a hidden dislike of Sam from Maddie for causing Danny's accident, something I kind of think would be more likely to happen if she found out how Danny got his powers, it's finally happened.

We're finally at the point where Danny is forced to take a life. This is something I decided would happen as there was no way Danny would send these guys to the Ghost Zone since they're not ghosts. It's also going to remain consistent through out this series, as Danny will struggle whether or not killing the monster is necessary.

But now, it's happened. What will happen next?

RonaldM40196867: It is. Yup. Yup. It no doubt does. She likely does not. I don't want an RV. Maybe, but they got their thing. Yes, if you've seen my posters, next is Danny Phantom vs The Wendigo. At least Maddie is angry with her.

SoundVenom: It's admirable not wanting to take a life, but her methods were wrong.

Themetavoorhes: Yup, Danny Phantom vs The Wendigo.

Tiamat Dragoness: Thanks.

LockAndKey989: He's not ready to move onto a girl he just accepted as a friend. Because they all are stubborn. She'll likely not care.

Guest: That's also an Independence Day reference.

Invader Johnny: She'll definitely owe one.

Leonardo: I got his reaction to what they are all planned out.

Khy Dragon: More like an unfeeling monster's path.

Luiz4200: Not as funny as Maddie doing it.
