It's gonna be a fuckin' great time
Holy shit, two years since I've updated this thing… I, uh, I don't really have that good of an explanation. All I can really say is that I was busy with both college, and learning how to people. Something I've succeeded in, actually! I have people I can consider friends now!
But still, that's not really an excuse, so I'll do my best to actually update this more regularly, I promise!
(And if it makes you guys feel any better, chapter 7 is almost halfway done already, and should be released in a few days!)

Chapter Six:
Blearily opening my eyes, I took a moment to blink away my tiredness as I leaned forwards, my joints clicking as I did. Getting up from my spot against the wall I looked at the rest of the notifications in front of me, which I had elected to ignore last night in favor of sleep.
Look, just because I don't actually need sleep doesn't mean I don't want it. It's surprisingly addictive.
Looking at the notifications, I saw that most of them were my new perks,
For getting Vit, Dex, and Luc over 100, you have received the following:
Perk: Indomitable Will
Willpower truly is a terrifying thing, allowing people to push themselves far beyond their limits to reach their goals.
Once per day, if the owner of this perk were to die, they instead regain a quarter of their health for ten minutes. Afterwards, the user falls into a comatose state, the length of which depends on the damage taken.
.
Perk: Double Jointed
Some people are naturally flexible, but you take it to the next level!
You are unnaturally flexible, easily being able to bend every part of your body in the opposite direction that it's supposed to!
.
Perk: Lucky Wheel
Spin! That! Wheel!
Once every three days you can spin a wheel that will give you a random skill, item, familiar, pet, or power.
Would you like to spin the wheel?
[Y/N]
It took me a full thirty seconds to get my brain to reboot, and another minute to retrieve my jaw from its position on the floor. Now this, this, is awesome. Not only did Indomitable Will basically let me tell the Shinigami to go fuck itself once a day, but Lucky Wheel basically says that it can give me anything! I don't think I have to explain the significance of this. So, without further ado, I clicked yes, a cartoon style wheel appearing right before my eyes as it started to spin, much to my amusement.
Eventually the wheel began to slow down before landing on a shadowed image of a sphere before I felt something appear in my hand.
Congratulations! You have won a [Bouncy Ball] From Lucky Wheel!
Bouncy Ball:
A small rubber ball, it's surprisingly bouncy!
Ah…
Well, I guess when it said anything, it meant…anything.
Trying to hide my disappointment, I placed the ball back into my inventory and brought my attention to the last screen.
Due to completing your quest, you have gained a random familiar!
Familiars are beings that are bound to your soul, growing in power and intelligence alongside you, similarly to a symbiotic relationship.
[Warning, familiars will only start with 25% of your power, but will gain points as you do, as well as being able to train to get more.]
Would you like to generate your familiar now?
[y/n]
After clicking yes, I watched as another screen popped up, this one not too dissimilar to a gatcha machine. Filled with anticipation, I watched as the machine produced a small teal capsule, which soon materialized in my waiting hand.
Taking a moment to examine the capsule, I saw that unlike in the screen, the capsules top was a dark green instead of the teal that the rest of it was.
After I was finished examining the capsule, I felt my curiosity finally take over as I unscrewed the teal ball, causing a bright light to fill the room. Taking a moment to blink away the spots in my vision, I heard a sound in front of me that quickly grabbed my attention.
I couldn't help but blink in surprise as I looked at the being in front of me. The small, lithe figure stood just under me in height had translucent teal skin and long hair-like appendages that shifted from a dark green to a warm yellow. Their eyes were a deep, forest green with a darker ring to indicate where their iris and pupil were. They were wearing a yellow rain jacket and boots with dark blue highlights. The most surprising thing about them though, was that I knew her. Well, of her at least.
"Suu?"
That's right the being in front of me, and my new life long companion, was Suu the Slime. Not being able to help myself, I cast observe on her.

(Due to her body's physiology, Suu's Dex will only affect her speed)
Familiar of Sora Uzumaki, Suu is a very happy slime who always tries to make those she cares for happy, this now includes Sora and Naruto. Being a slime, Suu can get into and out of almost anything, especially if she's determined enough to do so. She also has empathetic abilities, able to feel the emotions of anyone she touches with her 'feelers', making her the perfect lie detector.
After reading her profile -and making a note that she could use both mana and chakra- I turned to my new companion to introduce myself, figuring it would be rude to keep her waiting much longer.
"Hey there, I'm Sora Uzumaki, it's nice to meet you." I said, drawing her full attention to me as her head tilted to the side, resulting in one of the cutest things I have ever seen
"Mas-ter?" She asked, her voice catching slightly in the middle, as if she was unused to speaking
I couldn't help but wince a bit before I spoke, the title making me feel awkward and uncomfortable "Ah, I…guess so? But I would prefer if you didn't call me that."
"Dah-ling?" She tried, tilting her head to the side
"…That's that best I'm going to get, isn't it?" I asked in a defeated tone, already knowing the answer
"Dah-ling!" She said again, nodding her head firmly, her determined expression adorable enough to make me give in almost instantly
*sigh* "Alright, if you really want to call me that then I can't really stop you."
"Suu!" She exclaimed, her happy expression making me chuckle.
"Alright then, I'm going to make breakfast. You can either stay here, come and watch me, or explore the apartment we're in. What do you want to do?"
She took a few moments to think before using her feelers to gesture towards the door.
"Heh, alright, just make sure not to wake anyone up while you look around, okay?"
With a happy cry of 'Suu!', she skipped out of the doorway, eager to explore her new home
Softly chuckling to myself, I made my way to the kitchen, where I started to prepare breakfast for everyone; barring myself, of course, can't waste food after all. Especially now that there were two extra mouths to feed. Boy, was I going to have fun explaining this to Jiji…wait
'Fuck! How the hell am I supposed to explain this to Jiji!?' I started to panic, before forcing myself to calm down before I burnt the food. I began placing the food on plates before I started thinking of what to do.
'Okay, stop panicking, Jiji's probably not going to be here for a couple of days, right? That's plenty of time to come with an excuse! After all, it's not like he's coming back today, right?'
The universe, on the other hand, decided that I clearly hadn't been fucked over enough from the dungeon yet -I mean, it was right, but still!- as not even ten seconds later, I heard a knock on our door, as well a familiar voice coming from the other side.
"Naruto, Sora, are you two there?" Sarutobi's voice was a bit muffled by the door, but still easily recognizable, the elder hokage's voice nearly sending me into a panic attack.
Before I could, however, a screen materialized in front of me, drawing my attention.
Requirements met, would you like to use item 'A Convenient Excuse'?
This item bends the fabric of the universe to allow you to escape a potentially dangerous situation for you or your allies.
[y/n]
Immediately slamming the yes button and casting Illusion on my new scars, I went to open the door for Jiji, greeting him with a happy expression on my face.
"Good morning Jiji! I wasn't expecting you so early, is everything okay?" I asked, my face adopting a worried expression
"Nothing for you to worry about, I assure you." He started, following me to the table as I started making another plate for the man "I'm just going to be very busy today and wanted to make sure everything was okay here."
Hearing that, I couldn't help the small smile that appeared on my face before I replied "Thank you for worrying about us, Jiji. I'm not used to other people caring about us. It feels…nice"
Ignoring the sad look on his face, I told him about our progress on the building and our backyard bonfire, something that he found pretty impressive.
"I see, so it was you two who did that. I tried to ask some of my Jounin about that, but they simply told me that it was nothing to worry about." He gave a small chuckle
Over the course of our conversation, I gradually forgot the reason I was so worried earlier. Well, at least until-
"Suu!"
Dropping my head on the table, I mentally berated myself for forgetting something so important.
Raising my head, I watched as Suu dragged the tired and very confused forms of Naruto and Sienna into the kitchen/eating area, making them sit down before taking a seat herself as she started eating.
Risking a glance at Jiji's face, I was taken off guard as he just chuckled at the sight, as if this kind of thing was normal.
Seeing the expression on my face, Sarutobi simply smiled before speaking.
"Don't worry about your new friends, I'm familiar –pardon the pun- with the concepts of familiars, and how all Uzumaki receive one sometime before they reach the age of ten. Though I am a bit surprised that they seem so strong. I'll make sure to increase your stipend so you all have enough to eat, don't worry."
After the hokage finished his explanation, I couldn't help but mentally sigh in relief before thanking him.
After that, the rest of the morning passed as we all made small talk, with even Sienna commenting here and there, even as confused as she seemed.
Soon after everyone had eaten, Jiji had to leave, leaving me alone with a confused Lamia, a curious Naruto, and Suu, who had managed to shrink herself and was now resting on my head.
After Jiji had left, Sienna was the first to speak, turning towards me "W-Where…am I? What happened? The last thing I remember is-hrk!" She stopped, holding her head as if in pain before continuing
"I- my home, we… we were attacked, they killed everyone but me, and then they—they…" Unable to finish her sentence, Sienna broke down into tears. Before I could do anything however, Naruto was already by her side, capturing her in a hug, something she gladly returned, burying her face in his shoulder as she sobbed uncontrollably.
In an effort to comfort her, I wrapped my arms around both of them before speaking.
"It's alright now, they can't hurt you anymore, they're gone. I made damned sure of it. You're safe now."
Say what you will about how stupid I am, or how idiotic it was to put nearly all of my points in Charisma, but in this singular moment I couldn't care less, because as soon as I finished speaking, she now sobbed not because of the pain she went through, or the grief she felt knowing her family was gone, but in relief. Relief in the fact that those who hurt her would never be able to do so again. She was safe.
A short while later, both Naruto and Sienna had fallen asleep, clinging to each other like a lifeline. Both unable and unwilling to separate them, I put them both in Naruto's room to rest for a while. A quick observe confirming my suspicions, Sienna was now Naruto's familiar.
Letting out a long, shaky breath, I made sure that they would be okay here alone before I left, heading towards the shopping district, making sure to place an Illusion on me and Suu- who had fallen asleep on my head- on my way there to avoid any unnecessary attention from the civilians. The illusion I went with basically made me look like an older version of myself, but with a healthy tan and long, brown hair. My outfit was basically a simple cloak, long sleeved shirt and pants. A pretty common outfit for merchants and visitors.
As I began searching for a specific shop, I stopped at a nearby arts & crafts store and a book store to get some drawing supplies and books for everyone. Though I may or may not have grabbed some extra drawing supplies for myself so I could level up my drawing ability.
After about half an hour of searching, I finally found one of the places I was looking for, a weapons shop. Walking inside, I was hit with the strong smell of oil and leather from the various weapons on display.
Walking to the front counter, and seeing that no one was there I called out,
"Hello?"
A few seconds after I spoke I heard a shuffling sound coming from the back room, an older man appearing after a few moments
The man, who appeared to be in his late fifties, quickly made his way to the counter before greeting me.
"Hello there, welcome to Willy's Wonderful Weapons Shop, I'm Willy, what can I do you for?" The man greeted automatically, likely having said those exact words for years
"I was wondering of you bought weapons as well as sold them?" I asked the man
"Hmm, well, I suppose it depends on what kind of weapons we're talking about."
Reaching under my cloak and into my inventory, I pulled out one of the swords that I had gotten from the skeletons on the first floor of the dungeon, putting it on the counter for him to examine.
Taking a few minutes to examine the weapon, Willy finally set the weapon down and turned towards me. "It's well made I'll give you that, I can offer you 750 Ryo for it."
"Would you be willing to buy more than one of these swords?" I asked, his eyes going up a bit as I did
"I suppose, these swords are pretty uncommon around here so they'd be pretty quick to sell, how many do you have?"
Right as he finished speaking I started adding more and more swords to the counter until I only had seven left in my inventory for later use. As I placed the swords on the counter, Willy's eyebrows rose higher and higher with every sword, until they disappeared into his hairline as he looked at my cloak in disbelief.
Coughing something that sounded similar to 'fucking ninja bullshit', he started counting the swords before heading to the back of the shop, reappearing a few minutes later with a few stacks of Ryo.
"Alright, I got 12,000 Ryo for ya, 750 for each sword. Was there something else you wanted?" The man grumbled,
Taking a minute to look around, I was about to leave before a few things caught my eye.
Near the back was a set of training weights. Now, normally this wouldn't mean much since, you know, ninja village. But a quick cast of observe quickly dismissed that notion. These were chakra weights, meaning that once these were put on the body they fed on the users chakra both to stay in place, and to grow heavier.
The weights had multiple levels of intensity, and were capable of going higher than those listed. Though given the weight increase, it was unlikely for normal ninja, hell even most clans, to surpass those settings.
In other words, I gave it two years tops before I surpassed it, and that's only because the last listed setting was the equivalent of a small skyscraper.
After grabbing the weights, as well as a few basic sets of kunai and shuriken, I made my way to the front desk to check out. The old man looked a bit wary, but as soon as I said it was a gift for my newly chuunin brother he seemed to relax almost instantly. (Thank Kami for Charisma!)
After leaving the shop and finding a nearby alley, I equipped my new weights, attaching them to my arms and legs before using an illusion to cover them up.
Feeding my chakra to my new accessories, I felt what I could only describe as a 'click' before they suddenly each gain fifty pounds, making my limbs fall a bit before I caught them.
Still feeling like I could push myself, I increased the weights to level two, bringing them to 100 pounds each, making it difficult to move my limbs. I took a minute to decide whether or not to increase the level again, but decided against it. I was already pushing myself, anymore and I could end up breaking my bones like a certain broccoli haired hero in training.
Taking a minute to get used to the weight, I was able to move somewhat normally, meaning I could do what I came here for in the first place. Dropping the illusion of my 'older brother', I went back to the main street, instantly feeling the glares and whispers from the civilians as I started walking around, doing my best to hide my smirk because, as much as I disliked that they would treat Naruto this way given the chance, they were only helping me get stronger.
As if on cue, I received a notification telling me that I gained a level in 'Killing Intent'. Smirking to myself, I continued my walk, easily ignoring the slurs and insult thrown my way.
==A little over an hour later==
Deciding I had done enough grinding for now, I started looking through my notifications as I started walking towards a shop that had caught my eye earlier, applying my illusion in an alleyway on the way there.
Killing Intent has leveled up, x34
'Killing Intent (KI)'
Level- 57 29,300/37,000
This skill allows you to both sense and produce Killing Intent, or 'KI'. This is useful for sensing those who mean you harm, or by stunning enemies with high enough levels of killing intent.
Range: 550ft
Due To Constant Exercise & Exertion, You Have Gained,
Str x(6*3) = 18
Vit x(9*5) = 45
Dex x(4*3) = 12
Due to reaching 100 in Str, you have gained,
'Perk: Tactile Telekinesis'
Have you ever seen someone manage to lift a building, or throw a car without said object give out under its own weight and wonder 'Hey, what the fuck?' Well here you go!
Tactile Telekinesis basically lets you grab heavy shit without it breaking under its own weight unless you want it too. This perk also lets you walk around like a normal person without breaking the ground or floors no matter how much you weigh. So you know those bullshit weights that people like Rock Lee have? Go get yourself some.
Huh, talk about useful.
After I finished reading my notifications, I arrived at my destination, Maple Leaf Fabrics, a small little fabric shop on the outskirts of the shopping district that caught my eye about halfway through my killing intent training.
Walking inside, I was met with rows and rows of different types of fabrics, ranging from simple cotton to exquisite silk. A few seconds after entering I heard shuffling from behind the counter, a drowsy looking employee appearing from under the counter with a yawn, her black hair sticking up randomly, indicating that she had been sleeping. Though she quickly perked up when she realized that she wasn't alone.
"A-ah, hello there, I'm Maple, how may I help you today?" She asked, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly
"I'm just here to get some sewing supplies and some fabrics. Though, you wouldn't happen to have any waterproof or plastic based fabrics, would you?" I asked, waiting as Maple adopted a thinking pose a lightbulb appeared above her head. No, seriously, it's just floating there. Just as I reached out to touch it, Maple moved, both startling me and making the mysterious object disappear.
"Ah! I remember now!" She started, leading me to a section of the shop labeled 'clearance' "We got some a while back, but no one's ever bought any, so it's just been sitting back here for the last couple months. Honestly we were about to just throw it away…"
Taking a second to look at the fabric, -both with and without observe- I saw that it was almost exactly like normal fabric, but each thread was made of a special plastic that made it impermeable to liquids.
"This is perfect, how much is it?"
"Well, usually it would be fifty ryo for a meter of fabric, but since no one's bought any, and it's been in clearance for so long, it's only ten ryo per meter, and since rolls are untouched, you can get a whole roll for a ten percent discount, with the rolls being fifty meters each." She finished
"That's even better, let me just pick out some of these and some other supplies and I'll be right up to check out." I started picking out a few different colors as I spoke, grabbing a roll of silver, purple, black, green, and yellow plastic fabrics before moving to the normal fabrics and, after grabbing one roll of each color, -I do not have a problem, thank you very much, there were only eleven colors- I got some needles and an absolute shitload of thread, bringing them all to the front counter, setting them down in front of a shocked Maple before something else caught my eye just behind her.
"Hey Maple?"
"Y-yes?" She stuttered
"Those boxes behind you, are they full of stuffing?"
"Ah, yes. I had someone order them a while back, but they never came to pick them up or pay for them, why?"
"I was wondering if I could buy those as well?"
"I-I suppose so. It's been almost a month, and we only hold orders for a week if they haven't paid beforehand."
"That's perfect! I think that'll everything"
"Al-alright, that will be a total of 18,750 Ryo." She said, still in a state of shock
Nodding, I pulled out the amount required and paid before I started gathering my stuff and headed to a nearby alleyway to put my new items in my inventory and dispel my illusion before heading home. Before I got too far however, a notification popped up in front of me.
Do to your recent actions, you have reached 'Favorite Customer' status with Maple Leaf Fabrics.
This status gives you 10% off all future purchases.
+20% Rep gain with all Maple Leaf Fabrics employees.
Huh, I guess I'll have to come back some time then.
With that out of the way, I began my trek back home, ignoring the numerous glares from the civilians.
Now, you might be wondering, 'Hey Sora, why did you buy all that fabric?' well let me tell you, I'm going to make….
Clothes!
…What? Did you expect some kind of ingenious plan to make hundreds of sentient plushies to act as spies all over the world or something?
Actually, hmm…
Maybe one day, but I don't think I can do that quite yet. Nah, I just figured that making clothes for Suu would be both cheaper and easier than trying to find some, as well as let her chose what I made for her. Same thing for Naruto and Sienna.
Now the only thing I had to worry about was leveling up my sewing/crafting high enough to actually make the clothes look good… oh boy.
Once I got back home, I checked on Naruto and Sienna and, seeing that they were still asleep, got myself settled in the living room, sewing supplies on one side, and Suu on the other, now back in her human form as she watched me.
Taking a needle and thread, I spent the next several hours sewing small strips of cloth together, trying out the various different stitches that were in the guide book I got.
During that time, I discovered a few things. One, that sewing was indeed a part of crafting, and two, I was pretty good at it. Not amazing or anything, just a bit above average. It was pretty calming too. And, thanks to the crown of growth, I was able to get my crafting skill up to level 43.
'Crafting'
Level-43 15,269/22,000
One of the most basic (And important), skills for someone to know, this skill can be used to make anything from simple wooden blocks to intricate sculptures and beyond!
Chance of success: 85%
Chances of Legendary quality: 4%
Looking at the skill, it looks like I gain a one percent chance of a legendary item every ten levels. Chance of success seems kind of random though…
Anyways, I normally would have continued raising my skill, but I stopped once I noticed that Naruto and Sienna were waking up, which prompted me to take a break and start making them some food while Suu continued to watch.
Watching the two sit at the table, I noticed that Sienna stayed close to Naruto. I chalked this up to both the familiar bond, and the fact that Naruto was a literal ball of sunshine and comfort. After I finished serving the three their food and cleaning the dishes I used, I started talking to the two.
"So, I'm guessing that you guys are kind of confused about this morning?" Watching the two nod, I continued
"Alrighty then. I'm going to need you guys to listen and save any questions for after I'm done explaining, okay?" The two nodded again
"The first thing you guys need to know is that my ability, The Gamer, can spawn random dungeons, where I go to fight monsters and get stronger. Up until this point, I figured that natural dungeons, also known as field dungeons, would be the same as instant dungeons, an ability that I'll be able to use in the future that creates a pocket dimension for me to train and fight against mindless creatures. But as we can clearly see," I gestured towards Sienna "that isn't what happens. My best guess is that with natural dungeons, I'm sent to another world similar to an instant dungeon, but very, very real." Thankfully, Both Sienna and Naruto seemed to understand what I was saying.
'Thank Kami for level 61 Teaching skill!'
"Now, because of that, I found Sienna on the 2nd floor of the dungeon after taking care of the…things, which kept her there, and, after a few more floors, finally managed to get back here sometime last night. And the reason for you now being Naruto's familiar is due to an item I received in the dungeon last night called 'A Convenient Excuse', it literally bends time and space to come up with an excuse. This morning, the man that came to visit, is known as the Hokage, the leader of the village. Due to not knowing how he would react to you and Suu here, I panicked and used it and, somehow, it rewrote history so that all Uzumaki somehow received a familiar before they reached ten, likely building on the fact that Suu was already my familiar." Taking a deep breath, I asked "Okay, I'm done now, do you have any questions?"
Sienna shook her head "I do not, no."
Naruto, on the other hand, looked like he was about to explode as he frantically waved his hand, showing that he had a question
"Yes, Naruto?" I chuckled
"What are familiars? Can I go to an instant dungeon with you? Why did my level go up?" He rapid fired, barely taking a breath
"In order, a familiar is a lifelong companion that grows in strength with you, I don't know how to make instant dungeons yet, and your level went up because-wait, what?!" immediately looking above his head, I saw that his level had indeed gone up, and that Naruto was now level 14.
Taking a minute to process this, my mind started to work overtime before a thought came to the forefront of my mind, prompting me to pull up the party tab
Party- Training Montage:
Sora Uzumaki
Naruto Uzumaki
Clicking on 'Party' brought up another screen explaining the party function
A 'Party' is a group of people that 'The Gamer' chooses as close allies, providing them a limited version of 'The Game', letting them both grow faster, and spend stat points.
Should an enemy be taken down and experience gained, all other members will gain experience based on their contribution to the fight, with a minimum of ten percent.
I see, so Naruto must have gotten ten percent of the experience I got from the dungeon.
Turning back to Naruto, I told him what I found and how he should have stat points that he could spend to increase his abilities, and telling him what each one did, asking if he had any questions once I finished my explanation.
"So, dexterity is how fast we can move and how flexible we are, right?" He asked, looking like he was deep in thought
"Pretty much, yeah, it also helps with stealth."
"So it's important for ninja's, right?"
A bit confused as to where he was going, I answered "Yeah, I guess so, why?"
Before I knew it however, I saw that he had spent all 140 of his points on Dex, bringing his new total to 175.
Too shocked and too late to do anything, I just sat there in stunned silence, only breaking out of it after witnessing Naruto jump up and shout "I'm going to be the best hokage dattebayo!" Before promptly running into a wall with a loud *Thump*, knocking himself unconscious
Unable to help myself, I started laughing, Sienna and Suu joining me a few moments later.
After we had all calmed down, I took Naruto to his room and tucked him in for the night before using Heal to make sure he didn't have a concussion.
Sitting back down in the living room, I took a moment to watch Sienna start reading one of the books I had gotten, speaking out loud so Suu could listen as well, causing a smile to make its way to my face as I got back to sewing.
A lot had changed in such a small amount of time, and there was a lot to come, but I had a feeling that things would turn out okay in the end. Until then, I would just have to prepare the best I could.
Chapter Six: End
Holy fuck this took way too long. Anyways, as I said above, chapter seven is almost halfway done already and will be released in a few days, so until then
Bye!
