AN: Hello, I have the next chapter here. We now focus on Yang group on their side of the story for a bit. Speak of her, I am now showing off the Yang Cover for this series and its amazing glory. Rather than her playing an ace monster, she is activated Soul of Fire. Her duel disk arm came out great, it was modeled after Rex Goodwin's, but with the Yang color flare. And we went with the white Ra Yellow top with her black shorts, that way it mixes elements of her V1 and V2 outfits. Overall, I think this one is super cool! And with this chapter, we get a fun duel and me showing off two new characters to this series. Hope you enjoy this chapter, leave a review with your comments and questions, and have a nice day.

See Datasheet Chapter for cover art details.

Chapter 45 – The Elemental Mistress

In the commercial district of Domino City, Glynda led the group before stopping at a street corner, "I will trust you to behave yourselves in the company of pro league duelists, even if they are your friends."

"You're leaving us?" Bastion asked.

"For now," Glynda answered, adjusting her glass, "I have my own shopping to do."

"Got it, see you later." Yang said with a slight wave, then saw Glynda walk away, "…Okay, so here's the real plan." The fiery Ra Yellow said to the others, "We meet up with the others and head to this club I heard about downtown. There, we can party like its-OUCH!" she said before feeling a sharp pain on the back of her head. Yang turned around, discovering Glynda scowling with a riding crop in her hand, "I thought you were out of earshot."

"Do not leave the shopping district." Glynda said before adjusting her glasses, radiating a violent white aura, "That is an order."

"Yes professor!" all students said before Glynda scowled again before leaving, causing the others to walk in the other direction.

"Welp, there goes that plan." Yang crossing her arms before pouting.

"You are aware none of us are old enough to drink." Bastion commented.

"Hey, I just wanted to go dancing," Yang responded before looking to Blake, "You had all the fun last time during that game show."

"And I think that left me all danced out," Blake responded.

"Come on, don't you want to go," Yang offered with a smirk, "You can dance with Zane."

"Yang, can you stop," Blake said as she looked away, hiding her red face, but the fiery Ra Yellow giggled.

"In any case, we're meeting Zane and Pyrrha at the same time." Yang said before looking over the area, "Those two should be around here some-." Suddenly, the fiery Ra Yellow noticed the two she was looking for. However, they were talking with a couple of unknown individuals.

Talking with the magnetic pro duelist was a young woman in a brown sweater and stylish black pants. Her short brown hair had a lighter trail that ran down the right side of her head. She accessories with a black beret, dark beaded necklaces, and sunglass. In one hand she carried a black and gold attaché case, while the other held a coffee cup of a dark roast. Next to the cyber pro duelist was a young girl in a school uniform. However, this one was in a black blazer top with a red skirt. Her hair was a long light brown hair, but she was accessories with long bunny ears atop her head. hanging from a strap on her side was a small brown box.

In the corner of Pyrrha's eye, she saw Yang waving, "Hey!" she said in joy before running over to the fiery Ra Yellow, causing the two to hug, "It's so good to see you again."

"Same here." Yang responded before their hug ended, "Hope you don't mind that I brought my friends."

"Not at all," Pyrrha said before looking to the posh Ra Yellow, "Bastion, how are you?"

"I am well," Bastion said with a smile. "I'm honored you remembered me."

"Of course," Pyrrha said before looking to affluent Obelisk Blues, "Though, I don't think we have officially met?"

"It's Chazz," Chazz responded, "I answer to The Chazz as well."

Blake rolled her eyes before hearing someone call out to her, "Blake, is that you?" the shadowy Obelisk Blue turned to see it was Zane addressing her, "It's been a while."

"Z-Zane!?" Blake responded in shock.

"So, looks like you made it to Obelisk," Zane responded with a smile, "Blue does suit you well."

"T-thank you," Blake said slightly looking away to hide her red face.

"I see that you already know Zane," Pyrrha said before turning to the girl in the beret, "Let me introduce you, this Coco Adel."

"Sup," Coco causally said before drinking more of her coffee.

"The Coco Adel," Yang responded, "You're in the pro leagues, aren't you?"

"If I recall, she is ranked third in the league." Bastion added, "Right behind Pyrrha and Zane."

"I think that's about right," Coco responded, "I don't pay attention to that stuff anymore." She then turned to the bunny-eared student next to her, "Why don't you introduce yourself."

"Oh, right!" the bunny-eared student spoke before bowing, "Hello, I am Velvet Scarlatina. It's a pleasure to meet all of you."

"Nice to meet you." Yang responded, then looked over to Bastion, "She sort of talks a bit like you do." She said with him looking over with half-open eyes, causing Yang to turn to address the whole group, "Okay, with that out of the way, let's go get something to eat. I'm thinking pizza."

A short while later.

At a table in a restaurant, a waiter brought over two large pizza dishes. One was half cheese and half pepperoni, while the other was a meat-lovers dripping with marinara sauce, "That was fast." Yang said before serving herself a slice of the meat-lovers, then looked over to Coco and Velvet, "So, how did you all meet?"

"Coco and I have known each other for a few years." Velvet answered as she got a slice of cheese, "We're both still in school in the city. I'm majoring in photography, and she is in fashion design."

"Wait, you're not from any of the Duel Academies?" Chazz asked while getting a slice of pepperoni, "How did you two get in the pro leagues."

"I'm that good," Coco responded, not taking any slices, instead of drinking her coffee, "Truth be told, I just use it to model my new designs. Duels seem to get a lot more views than fashion magazines do these days."

"And I don't duel…it confuses me." Velvet commented, then opened her brown box, "I like taking pictures more than being part of the action. So, I act as Coco's manager and help her show off all her new designs." She said before showing the others a few photos, "Here, take a look."

"Uh," Yang said as she saw a few photos. However, then seemed off-center and cut off the head of the person in the image.

"I see, you captured the clothing perfectly." Bastion commented, "Even centered the duel disk in the frame."

"Thank you!" Velvet commented in overjoy, "Most people don't see that right away." She then giggled before putting the photos away, causing Bastion to smile. The posh Ra Yellow then felt Yang nudge his shoulder. As she looked to her with a smirk, he looked back in confusion, "When Coco got to rank three, I reach out to the others in the top five for this small gathering before the Grand Duel later." Velvet said before sighing, "However, Neo and Mercury did not respond."

"I think she already had plans," Blake responded.

"And I don't believe he wanted to see me after our duel." Zane added, "He's been absent from the league for a while."

"If he doesn't get back soon, he might be replaced by that one guy you beat before." Yang said to Pyrrha, "But he's also been away from the league for a while."

"Yeah, I don't know where Aster is," Pyrrha responded, then smiled towards the students, "In any case, you have the top three in the pro league to talk with. And I remember how it's your dream to make it into the pro leagues as well."

"It still is," Yang responded with a mouth half full of pizza, then swallowed before continuing, "Once I graduate, the league is the next stop for me."

"Same here," Chazz added, "All of you better watch out because I'll be heading to the top at lightning speed."

"Oh?" Coco responded, then slightly lowered her sunglasses, "When you're dress in those tattered rags?"

"Hey, I make this look good," Chazz countered while crossing his arms, "And it hides the stains better than blue did." He spoke under his voice.

"If you wish to make it in the league, you need to look the part." Coco responded before pushing up her sunglass, "How about I show some better designs in a nearby shop?"

"Right now, but I barely ate any-" Chazz was saying until interrupted.

"He'll accept." Yang spoke, then looked over to Velvet, "In fact, why don't you go with to do a photoshoot afterward."

"Oh, that sounds like fun!" Velvet responded, her bunny ears standing up.

"Cool," Yang responded, "And Pyrrha and Bastion can go along with you." She said with a smile, "The rest of us will finish the pizzas, and I'll pick up the tab."

"Thank you, but why?" Bastion asked before Yang pulled him in.

"Just play along, I'm trying to get Blake alone with Zane so she can talk to him in private." Yang whispered to the posh Ra Yellow, "And you know, you may want to try the same with this bunny girl." She said with a raised eyebrow.

"I don't quite understand," Bastion responded, "But I will do what I can to help." He said with her winking, causing the five to get up and leave while Yang went to the counter.

Coco led the way out before looking back to the others, "The shop is not too far away," she said before offing Chazz her attaché case, "But since we are shopping, do the manly thing and hold my stuff."

"What? No!" Chazz responded, "Why do I-"

"Of course, he will," Bastion interrupted, "It is only common courtesy."

"You-" Chazz said before gritting his teeth, then sighed, "I think you need to stop hanging around Yang," he said with the posh Ra Yellow smirking, then turned to Coco, "Fine, hand it over." The Affluent Obelisk Blue said as he extended his right hand.

"Good," Coco said as she gave her attaché case. However, as it transferred to Chazz's hand, it fell to the ground with a loud thud that echoed through the area. Chazz and Bastion looked down with wide eyes, seeing the attaché case slightly indented in the ground, "By the way, it's heavy."

"HHHHHH!" Chazz said as he tried to pull up the attaché case, "I-I can't lift this thing!"

Bastion then moved over to try and pick up the attaché case, but could not budge it, "My word!"

"What?" Coco responded, "I need to lug around a lot of stuff." She then glanced over to Velvet, "I can't be like you and just carry a camera and photos in that box." She said with the bunny-eared girl giggling.

"Here, let me," Pyrrha said as she walked over, picking up the attaché case with one hand, causing Chazz and Bastion's eyes to widen again, "Now, let's go." She said with Coco nodding.

From inside the restaurant, Yang finished paying the counter before seeing the five leave, "Perfect, all according to plan." She said before walking back towards the table, "Now, I just fake a bathroom break and leave those two lovebirds to-" the fiery Ra Yellow said before reaching the table but found only one person sitting there, "Where's Blake?"

"She said she had to use the restroom," Zane responded.

"Oh…I see," Yang said before slightly glaring towards the direction of the stalls, "Actually, I have to go to. Be right back." she said with Zane nodding, causing her to leave while he waited at the table. Yang pushed open the door before examining the stalls. In seeing all of them were empty, she then noticed an open window above one of them, "Sneaky little-" Yang said with her eyes getting red, then smirk, "Okay, I guess I just need to drag you back then!"

Meanwhile.

Outside a costume shop, Pyrrha, Velvet, and Bastion all waited at a bench, "She just wants us to sit out here?" the posh Ra Yellow asked.

"Coco likes to make a grand entrance when revealing new designs." Velvet answered. However, she glanced over at some of the onlookers who were staring at her, "…" she looked down in dismay, knowing what they were looking at.

"Tell me, does Coco tell to where those?" Pyrrha asked, looking at the bunny ears.

"N-no, these were a gift from my parents, and I like these ears!" Velvet quickly responded, but then looked back down, "But, they have led to me getting bullied a lot in school." She said before her mind drifted to an event from a few years ago.

Near a school courtyard, Velvet quivered before a taller boy with short brown hair. While she tried to run, she was then surrounded by three other boys. Suddenly, she felt a tug on her head as their leader grabbed the bunny ears, "Cardin, please stop!" Velvet pleaded as she held her head, her body slightly lifted off the ground.

"Come on, it's not like these things are real," Cardin said before laughing, causing the three other boys to do the same, all while tears formed in Velvet's eyes.

Suddenly, the group heard a new voice, "Hey," Cardin turned to discover Coco, who was in a similar school uniform to the bunny-eared girl, but with a brown leather notebook carrying case held over her right shoulder, "Put her down, now." She said before glaring down her sunglasses, "Or else."

"Heh, or else wh-!" Cardin said while Coco swung her case into his pelvis, "AAAAAAAA!" He screeched while letting go of Velvet.

The three other boys gasped as Cardin was coiled on the ground, cupping his lower body. They then looked back to Coco, "Take him and leave. Now." She said before rolling her right shoulder, "Or else." With those words, the three other boys shivered in fear before picking up Cardin and quickly carried him away. Coco then sighed before pushing up the sunglass, then turned to a Velvet, who was on the ground whimpering while holding her head. However, the bunny-ear student saw a hand extend towards her, soon realizing it was Coco's, "I think they look cute on you." The fashionista student said with a smile, leaving Velvet speechless, but slowly accepting the hand.

As her mind returned to the present, Velvet now held her head with a slight smile, "I know it's odd, but I feel like myself when I have these on. Coco was the first person to see that about me, and to also support my dream of photography." She said before looking to Bastion and Pyrrha, "So, I want to support her dream as much as I can."

"That's really sweet," Pyrrha responded with a smile.

"Yes," Bastion added, "I hope both of you achieve your dreams."

"Thank you," Velvet responded, "But if I may ask, what are your dreams?"

"Oh," Pyrrha responded first, "Well, I wanted to join the pro leagues and make it to the top…which I guess I have just about done." She said before looking up, "So now, I help people around me get to the top as well. To prove that anyone can make it there with hard work like I did."

"I see, a rather fine dream as well." Bastion responded, "For me, I simply wish to prove the success of my formulas. Then, they can be used to help others as they have helped me."

"Heh, it looks like all of us seem to want to help others more than ourselves," Pyrrha commented.

"Yes, but your way got your own cereal brand from it." Velvet pointed with a chuckle, "I tired getting Coco in the same deal, but there were copyright issues."

"Indeed, but maybe all three of us can help each other." Bastion said with both girls looking to him, "For us to pass the time, for Pyrrha to sharpen her skills, for Velvet to have a couple of subjects for her portfolio." He said before taking out a deck box, "And for more to test out a new formula."

Pyrrha slightly gasped before smirking, "Okay, you're on."

"Oh, this sounds fun!" Velvet said as she bounced in her seat.

After a short setup, Bastion stood across Pyrrha with Velvet off to the side, her camera in her hands. Both duelists loaded their decks before focus on their opponent, causing the bunny-eared girl to aim her camera.

"Duel!" Pyrrha and Bastion said as their rematch had begun.

Pyrrha: 4000 Life Points

Bastion: 4000 Life Points

"I shall go first," Bastion said as he drew, then smirked at his hand, "Frist, I play the spell card, Dark Designator. It allows me to declare one monster card name, and if you have it in your deck, it is added to your hand." He then pointed at Pyrrha, "I pick Valkyrion the Magna Warrior." The posh Ra Yellow declared as the card was ejected.

"Uh, thanks?" Pyrrha responded, putting the card in her hand, "You just let me get my boss monster."

"Yes, I did." Bastion said before taking out three cards from his hand, "I'll set these in my spell and trap zone and end my turn."

"Okay, my move." Pyrrha said with a look of focus, while Bastion crossed his arms, "I summon Alpha the Magnet Warrior in attack mode." She said as a grey sword and shield-wielding mineral monster appeared, (1400 ATK / 1700 DEF). "Next, I play Ties of the Brethren. By paying 2000 life points, I can summon Beta and Gamma from deck to join Alpha." The magnetic pro duelist said before a yellow mineral warrior was called to action, (1700 ATK / 1600 DEF). the two were then joined by a pink polarity warrior with metal wings. (1500 ATK / 1800 DEF).

Pyrrha: 4000 – 2000 = 2000 Life Points

"I cannot special summon any more monsters this turn, nor can I conduct my battle phase," Pyrrha commented, "But you gave me what I needed to make my strongest monster next turn." She said before taking a card out of her hand, "I'll set this and end my turn."

"I draw!" Bastion responded, then smiled at the result, "Time for the next phase of my formula. I play Exchange." He said with Pyrrha gasping, "We both take a card from our opponent's hand, and I will take your Magna Warrior."

"I see, so that was your plan." Pyrrha said while walking over, then handing over her boss monster, "However, that card should be useless to you in your deck." She said before he showed his hand, but she focused on one card, "But it would serve as a perfect tribute for Litmus Doom Swordsman. So, I will take that care."

"Very well," Bastion said before handing back the card, causing Pyrrha to turn back to her side of the duel, "You are correct, I plan to use your monster for a ritual summon. However, it was not for Litmus Doom Swordsman."

"Huh?" Pyrrha said before gasping, realizing there was another card in his hand before, "Oh no, I was too focus on the obvious choice." She said before smirking, "You've gotten shrewder since our last duel."

"Thank you, but gratitude will not save you." Bastion said as one facedown revealed, "I activate Doriado's Blessing!" he said as a praying woman in a white rod and green headdress over long orange hair was seen, "I only need three levels, so your Manga warrior will cover the entire cost and then some. Now come forth, Elemental Mistress Doriado." He said as Doriado's headdress to change to red and her body to emit a light aura, (1200 ATK / 1400 DEF).

"Oh, she is so pretty!" Velvet said before taking a picture.

"But she is weaker than all of my Magnet Warrior." Pyrrha said with Bastion smirking, "What?"

"You see, I had once developed a deck to specialize in each element." Bastion answered, "However, I realized that was only segmenting their strength. I needed to combine all attributes I can to reach my full potential as a duelist." He said as a second card revealed itself, "I activate Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan!"

"But that card requires an earth, wind, fire, and water attribute monster on your field," Pyrrha commented.

"Yes, and Doriado counts as all four of those attributes, as well as light." Bastion said before pointing, "And from my trap, while it has many effects, I will choose to destroy all your monster cards." He said before all three magnet warriors exploded, "With no monsters left, Doriado attacks you directly!" the posh Ra Yellow said before the elemental mistress unleashed a while beam of holy light.

"I reveal my face down, Draining Shield." Pyrrha said before blocking the beam with her duel disk, "It turns the damage I would have taken into gaining my life points." She said before the beam ended, and her body glowed in white light for a bit.

Pyrrha: 2000 + 1200 = 3200 Life Points

"Heh, I should have known it was not that easy to land a direct attack on you." Bastion said as he crossed his arms, "I'll end my turn."

"It's my draw," Pyrrha said, then played the card, "I summon Doki Doki in defense mode," she said as a menacing red vase was summoned, (500 ATK / 500 DEF). "With its effect, I can discard a rock monster to special summon one from my deck that is the same level and attribute." The magnetic pro duelist said before taking a card out of her hand, "So, I send a level three earth attribute monster." She said before a card ejected from her deck that she then played, "To summon Beta the Electromagnet Warrior in attack mode." He said a red mineral warrior was summoned with a sparking aura, (1500 ATK / 1500 DEF). "And when summoned, I can add Gamma the Electromagnet Warrior from my deck to my hand." She said before taking the card, then pointed, "Now, Beta attacks Doriado!" Pyrrha declared before her monster unleashed a shockwave from its magnet arms and head.

"Sorry, but you will not be getting rid of her that easily." Bastion responded, "I active Dimension Guardian." He said as Doriado gained a green aura, "It will protect her from destruction." The posh Ra Yellow said as the shockwave bounced off the aura and shocked him, "But I still take the damage from the attack."

Bastion: 4000 – 300 = 3700 Life Points

"I see," Pyrrha said before crossing her arms, "That ends my turn."

"It's mine then," Bastion said as he drew, then played the card, "I summon Element Dragon in attack mode." He said as a pink dragon with green wings and brown mane formed, (1500 ATK / 1200 DEF). "And since I control a have a fire attribute monster on the field, he gains 500 attack points." He said with the elemental dragon gaining a red aura, (1500 + 500 = 2000 ATK). "Now, destroy Doki Doki!" Bastion declared with the element dragon breathing fire on the red vase, causing it to explode. "And since I also have a wind monster on the field, Element Dragon can attack again." He said as a second breath of fire was about to be expelled.

"I use Beta's effect. By tributing him, I can special summon Delta the Magnet Warrior from my deck in defense mode." He said an angular teal magnet warrior was summoned in a blocking stance, (1600 ATK / 1400 DEF). However, the new monster was melted by the flames as well.

"You may have saved your life points," Bastion said before crossing his arms, "But they will hit zero soon enough. For now, I switch Doriado to defense mode." He said as the Elemental Mistress knelt.

"You choose not to make a direct attack again?" Pyrrha commented, "It would have landed given I had no way of blocking."

"To fully realized my formula, I need to have Doriado safe as a way to protect my life points." Bastion responded before smirk, "Besides, I can tell you are planning something big."

"Heh, I draw," Pyrrha said, "You may have stopped Valkyrion, and I am not in the position to make Berserkion yet." She said before holding up one card, "But this card still packs a punch, and all I need to do is remove from play all my rock monsters in the graveyard."

"All?" Bastion responded, "By my calculations, that would be eight monsters."

"Yes," Pyrrha said before slamming the card on her duel disk, "I summon Megarock Dragon!" erupting from the ground behind the magnetic pro duelist was a giant rock monster with jagged stones over its body, its roar having the power to shake mountains, (? ATK /? DEF). "And for each rock monster I removed, it gains 700 attack and defense points." She said as Megarock Dragon gained a violent red aura, (8 X 700 = 5600 ATK).

"Wow!" Velvet gasped at the stats, then took a picture.

"Go, attack Element Dragon with Stone Storm Shredder!" Pyrrha declared as Megarock Dragon breathed a blast wave of highspeed rocks that obliterated the elemental dragon.

Bastion: 3700 – 3600 = 100 Life Points

The dust settled with Bastion slightly coughing, then looking over to Pyrrha with her arms crossed, "It's my turn, I draw." He said before looking at the result, "I summon Mathematician in defense mode." He said a wizard professor appeared with a long white beard, (1500 ATK / 500 DEF). "With his effect, I can send Oxygeddon from my deck to the graveyard. Then, I end my turn."

"Huh, why send that card?" Pyrrha thought as she drew, looking at the card, then pointing, "Megarock Dragon will destroy your Mathematician." He said as the wizard professor was pelted with stones.

"When Mathematician is destroyed, I can draw one card." Bastion said before doing so.

"Fine," Pyrrha said before setting the card she drew, "This ends my turn."

"My draw then," Bastion said before playing the card he drew before, "I activate Pot of Greed." He said before drawing two cards, but took one of them out of his hand, "I discard Deuterion to add a certain spell or trap to my hand." He said as card eject, which he took with another card in his hand, "I set these two and end my turn."

"It's my turn," Pyrrha said as she drew, "You played well, but I know of a loophole in your formula. I activate my face down, Level Limit – Area A. With this, all level three and lower monsters are changed to attack position. He said with Bastion gasping, watching the elemental mistress to stand up, "Now, Megarock Dragon will attack Doriado!" she said before the mountainous monster unleashed its stone breath again.

"I would not be so confident in finding a flaw in my formula," Bastion responded, "I reveal my trap card, Spirit Barrier." He said as a yellow barrier protects Doriado from the stone storm, "So long as I control a monster, I take no battle damage."

"Clever," Pyrrha said before taking a card from her hand, "I set one card and end my turn."

"Mine then," Bastion said as he drew, causing him to smile, "Even with my formulas, luck is still a needed element. And it appears to be on my side today." He said before pressing a button on his duel disk, "I reveal Bonding – DHO."

"That was the card your Deuterion searched," Pyrrha commented.

"Indeed." Bastion nodded, "And now, I can shuffle it, the Hydrogeddon I just drew, and the Oxygeddon from my grave back into my deck." He said as the three monsters appeared behind him, then formed into spheres of their elements before merging, "Now, bond together and create Water Dragon Cluster!" the posh Ra Yellow said with the water erupting from the merger. As it split into two pillars, the ends formed the heads of red-eyed dragons, (2800 ATK / 2600 DEF).

"Ow," Velvet said before taking a picture.

"It's only half the attack of my dragon," Pyrrha commented.

"Don't you know about how water can erode stones?" Bastion responded, "Thanks to Cluster, your monster loses their effects and their attack points until the end of this turn!"

"What!?" Pyrrha gasped as her Megarock Dragon lost its aura, (5600 – 5600 = 0 ATK).

"Go, Duel Hydro Blast!" Bastion declared as Water Dragon Cluster shot hyper-pressured from each dragon head, both obliterating Megarock Dragon and turning into soggy stones.

Pyrrha: 3200 – 2800 = 400 Life Points

"And now," Bastion said with a smile, "Doriado attacks you directly!" he said before the elemental mistress unleashed a holy beam of light.

"Not so fast, I still have one more face down. Release from Stone!" Pyrrha responded, "I can now special summon any of my removed from play rock monster. And I pick, Giant Soldier of Stone!" she said with a massive grey stoned warrior appearing with two rock blades attached to his body near his shoulders, (1300 ATK / 2000 DEF).

"I see, that was the monster you discard before." Bastion said before crossing his arms, ending his turn, "But I do not see how that card will help you?"

"You'll see," Pyrrha said as she drew, "First, I play the continuous spell, Attack the Moon!" she said with a white moon appeared in the sky, "Then I switch Giant Soldier of Stone to Defense mode." She said before her monster knelt.

"But your trap will change it back to attack mode." Bastion commented, seeing Giant Soldier of Stone stand back up, but unsheathed one of his blades, "What is he-"

"When a rock monster switches battles positions, my spell lets me destroy one of your spell and trap cards." Pyrrha said before pointing, "Like your Spirit Barrier that is shielding your Doriado and your life points." She said with Bastion gasping, "Now Stone Soldier, Destroy the Moon!" the magnetic pro duelist ordered with Giant Soldier of Stone thrusting his rock blade into the moon. As the lunar surface cracked before shattering, causing the shards to rain down over Doriado. They broke through the Spirit Barrier, and while the elemental mistress was still standing, the posh Ra Yellow fell to his knee.

Bastion: 100 – 100 = 0 Life Points

Bastion sighed before the monsters faded away, then saw Pyrrha standing before him, handing back the Litmus Doom Swordsman, "Well, I had prepared for any situation with you as my opponent." Bastion said as he offered back the Manga Warrior, "But there is no way I could have predicted you would attack the moon."

"I'll take that as a compliment." Pyrrha said as they got their cards back, "You have gotten better, and I will look forward to seeing you in the pro leagues." She said with Bastion slightly looking away, "What's wrong?"

"Listening to Coco and Velvet got me thinking," Bastion spoke. "I don't believe I will be joining the pro leagues."

"What?" Pyrrha responded, "Bastion, may not have won, but you are a talented Duelist."

"That is not the reason why," Bastion answered, "I know where my skills can be applied, but it is not in the pro leagues. After Duel Academy, I want to study theoretical physics at the best university I can get into." He said with a smile forming, "Then, I can test my formulas to help others understand the universe itself."

"I see," Pyrrha said with a smile forming, "I think that does suit you better."

"Thank you, and please keep this a secret from the others." Bastion responded, "I don't wish for them to worry about me leaving." He said with her nodding. The two then saw Velvet walking over, "So, how did we do?"

"You were both splendid!" Velvet complimented, "I got so many pictures." She then showed the pile of over a dozen photos, "Here, take a look." The bunny-eared students offered.

Pyrrha and Bastion looked through the photos, seeing multiple ones at odd angles and off-centering, "You have an eye for capturing the moment." Bastion said with Velvet smiling, her face turning slightly red, "Is it okay if I keep this one?"

"O-of course, as many as you like!" Velvet responded with her bunny ears standing up, "Same for you Pyrrha."

"Thank you, Velvet," Pyrrha said with a smile as she looked through the photos as well, enjoying the scenes they showed.

Meanwhile.

At the pizzeria restaurant, Zane sat alone at the table, "…" He looked around, waiting for someone to come back.

AN: There you go, the true culprit to whom shattered Remnant's moon has been revealed, the Giant Soldier of Stone. Still, that might be one of my favorite duels from Season one, just for that moment that I got to homage here. Before all of that, we get to see Coco and Velvet in this series. I know I said I would not include Team CFVY, but I thought I would meet halfway on this one since these two girls let me give a bit more worldbuilding here. Coco being a pro duelist but not from the academies and is more about fashion design. Velvet not being a duelist at all, but she likes to take pictures. Again, I never read their light novel series and don't intend to. However, I did want to try writing them in more of my crossovers, and it has been very fun with how I have decided to characterize them. Their flashback was cool to create, and even gave Cardin a camo before he is carried away in pain. Then with the duel, I finally get to redeem the one I skipped back in the Shadow Riders Arc in Bastion verses Pyrrha's rematch. It had a lot of twists and turns, showing a lot of develop on both sides. And with that ending, I knew I needed to have someone attack the moon. Now, Coco is shopping with Chazz, Yang is hunting a scaredy cat, and Zane is just sitting at table. That is all for now, thanks for reading, and hope to see you in the next chapter.

Now, time to answer some questions. Regarding archetypes I wish I could have given characters, there are not many I can think of. It is weird, but I do sort of assume these rwby characters with these archetypes now, so I don't worry about what could have been. There are monster cards I wish I could have given but cannot be due to the time period. Like giving Ruby a Black Rose Dragon because…well they practically are made for each other, (if you do wish to read a good series with her playing that as an ace, check out Cards of Remnant by TheMaster4444). In the end, I do still like that I got to make Guardian Eatos her ace here. Regarding the new P.U.N.K cards, I think their cool, but I feel like these cards show more than any archetype that Yu-Gi-Oh needs a full art rarity. The art is amazing, but it is always cropped or feels zoomed out. Regarding Battle Royals, it depends on the moments and the duels when the tournament starts. If possible, I could have Yuri just wipe out a bunch of jobbers/quick cameos like he did in Arc-V, but that is still a duel with a lot of set up needed. Rest assured, when the tournament does start, he will be a monster in his own right. Those were all the questions I had, feel free to ask more, and I will answer them in the next chapter.
