"THE FUCK DOES THAT CHICKEN WINGED FREAK MEAN WE'RE WORKING WITH HIM!?" Enraged, Kane hollers snarling stomping his way into the office, his icy blues widening when seeing the battlefield before him despite the attempt of repair the scorched marks remain still lingering like battle scars fading along with time.

"Kane…not now." Warningly, Katsumi seethes, feeling her blood boil, burn, bubble as she slams her fist to the table, cracks spewing out from her fiery fist, shaking, quivering, quaking like a volcano about to erupt, her raw reds screaming bloody murder, veins sprouting from her hues as she remains hunched over on her desk.

"Not now!?" Gawking, Kane gawks gaping at the back of Katsumi.

"Kane please, Katsumi please tell us what's going on?" Pleadingly, Haneul begs her boss gaping at the shaking shivering back of her boss.

"Why did you agree to it boss?!" Impatiently, Kane demands from her boss.

"Kane! STOP!" Haneul grabs Kane by his arm tugging him back.

"Constantly I begged, pleaded, asked you to do this talk show I hooked you up to numerous people but you kept refusing so what changed? What makes this Hawk guy so special that you agreed?" Angrily, Kane demands from his friend, hurt laced in his betrayed tone only to squeak slightly when next thing he knew he was thrown into the wall whimpering by the hand coiled around his shirt collar. His icy blue meeting a pair of deranged fiery flames.

"Special? DON'T YOU DARE EVEN THINK OF THAT EXTRA AS SPECIAL!" Snarling, she screeches, screaming in his face making him whimper.

"B-Boss!" Meekly, Kane whimpers, his voice cracking breaking briefly only the two gulp when he is abruptly dropped, his body slides down to the floor as the woman paces back and forth fuming, tugging at her brown locks.

"He is nothing to me, he is the enemy! He acts all nice and friendly but he really is a hawk, making you fall into this safe sense of security only to stab you in the back with his talons and drag your body back to the commission as proof he's been a good boy." Bloodthirsty, she seethes, snarling, spewing out venom, poison dripping down her feral fangs as she paces back and forth before diving down to the floor.

"…Boss." Worriedly, Haneul rushes over to Kane's side, steadying him as he cradles his throat wincing when watching his boss seethe, snarling, the two looking worriedly at them.

"I hate him, I hate every aspect of him, I hate what he represents, I hate the corner he is thrown us in. He knows what he's doing so no he isn't fucking special he's an extra who got the best of me, who has the nerve to try to fight me and my men, who think he can control me and my way. He's nothing but a pebble in my fucking path and will be trampled on like the measly pebble that he is leaving him the fucking dust! GOT IT?" Intensely, she explains to the two, bloodlust oozing out of her making the other two sweat drop at the sheer intensity of her words.

"We…we got it boss." Meekly, Kane exclaims, furrowing his brow concerned for her as she stands up, in a mid-tangent.

"And that fucker oh ho he thinks he's won, you should have seen him with this fucking smirk that fucking Cheshire smirk. He thinks he's all high ad mighty blowing the balls off the commission like the fucking slut he is well let me tell you something? He hasn't won, he may have won the battle but the war's just fucking started!" Snarling, she slams her fist into the table below, the one that had been exploded, that had been tossed and turned now nothing more than two shards that disperse from one another, cut in half from the swift slam of her fist.

"B-Boss." Haneul calls out to the woman pacing back and forth, flames flickering out from her feet beginning to pace in circles.

"He thinks he can be the boss of me!? He thinks he can tell me what to do!? He thinks…he thinks he can be on top like hell I'll let that happen. I'll have the bastard writhe beneath me, pinned to the ground as I fucking destroy him!" Enraged, Katsumi snarls seething, vowing it to the high heavens.

"Well I think we all learn something about our boss we didn't want to today." Uncomfortable, Haneul exclaims her grip tightening around Kane.

"Did we really learn this though?" Unfazed, Kane points out making them both go quiet at the truth of the matter, they knew their boss was…interesting to say the least.

"O-Oh boy…" Worriedly, Kane whispers watching worriedly on stuttering out, the two-paling knowing this mood far too well having seen it time and time again.

"I'm going to wipe that stupid smirk off his face, off the face of the world, I'm going to grab him by his hair and grate his face into the concrete until he's nothing but bruised, bloodied and battered then I'm going to shove his face into some vinegar just to see him write in agony as I then finish it off with one fatal blast. He thinks he's so much better than us being up in the air looking down at us at me!? I'm going to kill him! I'm going to fucking destroy him!?" Enraged, she roars to the high heavens leaning over her desk, heaving huffing.

"You going to fuck him up boss?" Slyly, Kane crudely calls out snickering.

"Kane?" Confused, Haneul furrows her brow at him.

"I'm going to fuck him till he's begging for mercy." Manically, Katsue promises.

"You think she knows?" Haneul sighs sweat dropping.

"Just wait a minute…" Kane smirks smugly wiggling his forefinger as she then…

"FUCCCK HIM! FUCK HERO SOCIETY! FUCK HAWKS!" Loudly, she proclaims to the high heavens making Kane snicker placing his hand over her mouth.

"We've lost her haven't we?" Haneul sighs slumping her shoulders.

"Yep." Kane confirms watching the chaos unfurl…

"Um boss you good now?" Kane calls out concerned from his seat, slouched on the sofa when her boss' fury fit finally ceases. Katsumi groans placing her head in her hands, cradling her head, sa at her desk groaning, the normal headache no doubt taking root within her after the group after fixing things up take a seat. Quietly, Haneul passes her over her tablet and a Qoo from the mini fridge which she easily downs as she sighs shakily.

"Y-Yeah I'm…I'm good. Sorry about that Kane…I shouldn't have done that." Tiredly, Katsumi sighs cradling her throbbing tense temple, aching as she grimaces from the sharp searing sensation of her temple pounding against her head, hollering, haunting, taunting her with this stinting sensation. She cradles her temple, trying to rub some sort of pattern into it, trying to ease it but…

"No you shouldn't have. " Curtly, Kane crosses his arms over his chest, scowling at her.

"Kane!" Angrily, Haneul glares daggers at him, the sharp snap making Katsumi grimace, wincing.

"He's right. It's fine." Katsumi waves Haneul off who tosses over some matcha.

"The hell Haneul!" Kane snaps at her making Katsumi grimace, her raw reds noting his drenched form and soaked sofa, making a mental note to buy a new one only to wince at another sharp stab to her temple.

"Oops." Purposefully, Haneul sneers scowling down at him.

"Enough both of you…" Exhausted, Katsumi requests from the two making them both grimace at the genuine exhaustion etched into her fatigued facial features crinkling up now and again as Kane sighs leaning over his bench.

"Boss I know you've always had these fits but this one was bad I thought you were getting better." Gently, Kane points out leaning over the destroy remnants of the table, some duck tapes keeping it together as he gently places his drink down on the table, his eyes softening sadly at his boss.

"It's not something you can just fix Kane." Protectively, Haneul points out making Katsumi sigh.

"It's fine Haneul." Scowling, Katsumi tells her.

"But…" Haneul begins.

"I'm fine." Curtly, she cuts him off.

"Boss…" Haneul's eyes soften sadly, her grip tightening around her drink.

"He's right. I shouldn't use it as an excuse." Sighing, Katsumi agrees as both of them raise their drink, taking a small sip.

"Have you taken…?" Tenderly, Haneul questions making Katsumi's eyes narrow.

"I have and I'm fine Haneul okay? I'm fine." Frowning, she snaps at Haneul only the to groan when seeing her recoil back making her groan, placing her head in her hands, feeling sweat slide down her temple, feeling…

"Boss I get your frustration we feel it we do but acting out like this isn't healthy." Kane tells her.

"I know okay? I fuckin argh…" Angrily, she snaps slamming her hands down on the desk in exasperation only then to hiss wincing when feeling a familiar sharp stab in her temple.

"Katsumi!" Haneul rushes over to her side only to be brushed off.

"I don't need to be fussed over Haneul. I'm fine. I appreciate your concern I do but please I'm not a child." Coldly, she snaps at Haneul making her grimace glancing down to the side.

"I'm sorry." Softly, she whispers making Katsumi groan from the wave of guilt washing over her.

"Maybe you should start acting your own age then." Kane calls out making her roll her eyes.

"Kane!" Haneul snaps at him as Katsumi places her head in her hands, exhaling shakily as the two dispute, shouting, screaming at one another making her bow her head further into her hands at the agonising searing sensation flowing through her, blinking back the faint shimmering sheen in her raw reds.

"Look, this is still our agency it's not just yours." Fed up, Kane stands from his seat, his legs lazily lay on the table now kicked off by Haneul. He turns to face her, approaching the desk, slamming his hands down on the desk making her flinch from the sound once more.

"Kane don't just don't." Drained, Katsumi sighs not having the energy, not having anything to deal with this.

"No! We agreed to join up with you if this agency was all of ours, sure we had to use your name cause you're the main firepower for it but…but…" Firmly, Kane begins frustration laced in his tone before it breaks, beginning to crack.

"…Kane." Katsumi's raw reds soften sadly at his friend's icy blue.

"You promised us. You told us we'd be a team, we'd work together, we'd talk things out, big things, we'd have a vote, a voice god damn it! Look at you Kat you're doing shit on your own again you should have brought us in you should have…" Incensed, he snaps, the tears freely falling. He slams his fist down on the desk only to recoil back feeling a faint pinch of guilt when seeing her flinch from the sharp sound.

"There's a lot of things I should have I know oaky!? I fucking know! I know I should haven't lost my arm, I know I should have been more there for my brother, I know I should have…I should have…" Intensely, Katsumi begins her voice cracking breaking alarming the two.

"Hey come on…" Gently, Kane reaches out about to place his hand on her shoulder when…

"But I didn't did I? I didn't cause I can never do anything right? I mean look at me I'm projecting shit you lot shouldn't even have to fucking hear some pro I fucking am and now I'm the four or fifth fucking best!? What has the world gone to, to have someone as stupid, as ugly, as fucking weak as me to take that place!?" Poisonously, she seethes, combing her fingertips through her blonde strands tugging at them.

"Boss…" Both Haneul and Kane share a look.

"Sorry but could we just…could we not, we have a lot more stuff to deal with it more important stuff anyway?" Hopeful, he changes the topic.

"Katsumi please…if you could just tell us what's happened. We can…" Haneul steps forward.

"We deserve to know. You know our crew, they won't move agencies even for big wigs like Endeavour and Hawks. Most of our men would refuse that." Kane reminds her making her flinch from his words.

"I know…" Solemnly, she bows her head.

"Then mind filling us in?" Kane requests scowling.

"You have your painkillers yet?" She asks him.

"Yeah why?" Kane furrows his brow.

"You'll need them." She tells them as she leans back in her seat, the two sharing a look as she fills them in…

"So we really are working with Endeavour and Hawks agencies now." Stunned, Kane blinks baffled by the information drop staring at the tired done looking Katsumi numbly nodding her head to the news.

"Sadly so." Solemnly, she places her head into the plush pillow of her palm, her fatigued features drained, deflated by the news, the once burning blaze pyre now nothing more than a mere meek flickering flame, swaying from side to side, barely able to keep form.

"I just…I can't believe this. I mean this doesn't feel real." Haneul confesses as she crosses her arms over her chest.

"I suppose you're getting your wish after all Kane." Katsumi sighs exhaustion etched into her tired tone.

"Not like this, I didn't want this to ever be like this." Scowling, Kane growls glaring to the side. Sure he had asked her, begged her, pleaded her to accept the invites on these shows eager to know the explosive hero, eager to learn about her. Kane had seen the following she had gotten, some creepy but others were just genuinely curious about her. Kane knew Katsumi, he knew how private of a person she really was and respected that. Sure, he wasn't one for privacy, he was always the sort to wear his heart on his sleeve, to say what was on his mind, to do what he wanted. He knew what the main question was and he knew and respected why she refused to answer. But still…

"Well seems the public eye will be on us now more than ever." Haneul sighs sadly, furrowing her brow pensive. She feels her body squirm slightly at the thought making the two look over at her concerned. They knew how the media would react there was a reason why she kept her name hidden from the public, heck she had her own issues to deal with when she was attending U.A at times for the spotlight to shine down upon her would not bring back the best of memories, this the two knew well for their friend.

"That still…I never wanted to force you boss, neither of you guys." Kane confesses to the two, crossing his arms over his chest.

"We know Kane." Katsumi sighs sadly, exhaustion etched into her tone, Katsumi hated this, she hated all of this, she hated having her hands tied by that feathered freak. Why did it have to be this way? She didn't ask to be number three. Why didn't the commission just change the votes? Sure she was semi popular but that didn't mean they couldn't rigg it, it wouldn't be the first time she assumed.

"I…I don't understand. Don't you want out of the spotlight? Why agree to work with these guys?" Perplexed, Haneul questions Katsumi who simply glances to the side sadly.

"From my experience once the light hits you you're trapped." Kane grimaces, glancing to the side.

"Like a Venus fly trap." Haneul gathers.

"So what's going to happen to us? Our broadcasts? Podcasts? Our music? Will we have to regulate it? bleep things out? Cut things out? That is going to anger our fans I just know it, they'll say we'll change and…and…" Kane questions Katsumi turning to see her leant over the desk, her eyes closed in deep thought.

"Kane calm down." Haneul places her hand on his shoulder squeezing it.

"But…we can't release our music now not with…" Dejected, Kane slumps his shoulders pained as both raw reds and greens soften sadly at the plum haired male, the two share a look knowing well how many years their friend had spent on this project of his, hearing the stress ooze out of him as he tugs at his plum locks.

"We will." Katsumi finally speaks up making them both flinch from their boss' firm frown, her words resolute.

"Boss?" The two share a look towards their boss.

"No doubt this is one of the commission's schemes." Kane grumbles.

"The commission can't control everything. Just because we're at the top doesn't mean we have to change. No doubt this is a ploy of the commission trying to get Hawks to keep a closer eye on us. We can prove to the world there's more to being a hero than being the commission's puppet. We aren't perfect, we aren't innocent, none of us are and if they don't like that, they can bump us down the charts for all we care." Coldly, Katsumi states the fact of the matter making both of them smile softly, a look of unease filtering through them at the grave situation they find themselves in.

"We're in the real muck of it now huh." Deflated, Haneul sighs slumping her shoulders.

"Afraid so. So what's your plan with Hawks?" Curious, Kane questions her.

"The best thing I can do is make it out as if we are friends, lull into a safe sense of security so he'll trust us and leave us alone." Katsumi confesses to the two.

"But how can you do that? He's sharp." Scowling, Haneul points out.

"You're not wrong but I have a plan. He sees me as some headstrong reckless moron. You know someone that lowlife of an extra thinks he can manipulate with his words." Smugly, Katsumi leans back in her seat.

"Isn't that what you are though? "Tiredly, Kane crosses his arms over his chest.

"Kane!" Haneul hisses at him.

"Look if I can use that act to make him think we're friends he'll leave me alone, he'll see me as no threat as someone he thinks he can control. Meaning, he'll leave us alone more from this build up trust, allowing us to continue business as per usual besides we aren't doing anything illegal." Katsumi explains to the two, their brow furrowed unsure.

"This…sounds too complicated." Worried, Haneul argues, further furrowing her brow.

"Just pretend to be his friend that's really it." Kane summarises turning to Haneul.

"So…high school." Haneul concludes.

"Exactly. Now you're getting it." Pleased, Kane slaps her back, glad to see her catching up as the trio decide their plan in dealing with the hero commission, in dealing with the winged hero Hawks.

"I still can't believe we're working with Endeavour and Hawks. Guess getting to the top ten really is something else…" Sneering, Kane grumbles glaring to the side still trying to process it all. It had been a few days they hadn't made the announcement yet and here Kane found himself, kicking one of his stray soda cans to the side, hearing the crisp crinkle of metal echo. He paces back and forth, feeling the knot tighten, coil in his stomach. He furrows his brow at the still silence he meets, his icy blue looking over at the studious scowling black haired woman, tending to her duties vigilantly making him roll his eyes exasperated.

"…" Scowling, Haneul focuses on her task at hand, slamming the papers down tidying them, nearly organising her desk and work when…

"Are you still mad at me?" Kane grumbles slouching his shoulders, his arms crossed over his chest calling out to her.

"You saw how stressed Katsumi looked and you still had a go at her." Haneul snaps, her greens glaring into his icy blue as he groans rolling his eyes at her.

"She had her hand to my neck!" Scowling, Kane reminds her gesturing to his neck, nothing out of the ordinary showing.

"No she didn't she held you by the collar that's it at the least." Scoffing, Haneul rolls her eyes at him, he always been like this, a drama queen, always making a scene about even the smallest things, she never understood why he had to be like this.

"It was still physical you can't defend her." Kane snaps making Haneul grimace, glaring to the side.

"We have no idea what happened between her and Katsuki. You know how sensitive she is about her family." Firmly, Haneul huffs making both ex classmates grimace from her words, they knew the boss' family was important to her, private she made sure they never spoke about them in public.

"And you know she isn't the type to let that affect her work." Kane points out.

"That doesn't mean it still doesn't affect her!" Haneul snaps slamming her fist down on the ground.

"Haneul…" Gently, Kane's icy blues soften when seeing the faint shining shimmer in her glassy green.

"Don't use my name at work we've been over this." Tensely, she snaps hissing at him, crossing her arms over her chest making him sigh slumping in his seat, hearing the faint roll of the wheels, pushing him back briefly.

"Look what happened to you is different to what the boss is going through." Tiredly, Kane points out, you couldn't compare them, he knew Haneul was protective over the two, she never really was the social butterfly but still…

"That doesn't mean words don't still hurt and I'm not comparing them I'm just saying emotions aren't easy to handle oaky?" Softly, Haneul whispers, her tone cracking briefly.

"I'm not sorry." Sternly, Kane states making Haneul flinch from his words, her greens glaring daggers at his unfazed form.

"What?" Haneul snaps seething snarling, grinding her teeth together.

"Look I care about the boss just as much as you do. But I know her, I know she hates being looked down on, you heard her tangent, didn't you? The fact that you're babying her is something she despises. She doesn't want to be pitied. What happened, happened." Frankly, Kane reminds Haneul making her flinch.

"But I don't pity her!" Haneul tries to argue.

"Its not what she's seeing. It's not what I'm seeing. Look we need to call her out on this stuff so she can reflect. I'm not saying what she went through wasn't shit it was but like she said she can't use that as an excuse to treat people like that." Truthfully, Kane tells Haneul making her bow her head pained by his honestly.

"I…" Haneul tries to say something but falters, the still silence swiftly being her answer. It was obvious why the boss agreed to it, it was because of them, the commission could shut them down, this wasn't just an agency they were a family in a way even the sidekicks down below. The two knew matter factually that they wouldn't go off and work with any other heroes as they did here, the sidekicks respected their boss a lot and the two knew that the boss knew that deep down, they couldn't let them down, it wasn't just them effected by this, those people below had friends, family, people that their money helped him. They relied on them and they couldn't let them down.

"That's why she appreciates us in her own way, we call her out on shit just as she would us. Han I know you didn't have many friends growing up but we both know how Katsumi works so stop protecting her she doesn't need that." Tiredly, Kane elaborates.

"…I just don't want her to think she's alone." Meekly, Haneul bows her head making Kane's icy blue soften sadly at her as he sighs standing up, making his way over to her.

"She knows she isn't alone. She knows she has us so chill would ya?" Gently, Kane places his hand on her shoulder squeezing it smiling down at her.

"…Yeah. Is…is that syrup?" Softly, she smiles back up at him, a faint ruby red tint to her cheeks only then to falter from the sudden sticky sensation on her shoulder as she looks down eyeing said substance.

"Um…maybe?" Lazily, he pries it off, wiping his hand on her shoulder as her eyes twitches.

"You're disgusting!" Snarling, she snaps at him making him squeak back briefly from her disdained expression, glaring daggers just as they both perk up at the ding of the elevator.

"Um am I interrupting or?" The raw red doors slide open as both of them gawk, raw red enveloping their facial features, steam spewing out of their faces from the practical model before them.

"A-A-And y-you are?" Shyly, the two sputter out, glancing over at one another, each having a panic moment of their own.

"The name's Fatgum! Is Katsumi around?" Casually, he asks as both of them gawk, gaping at the name.

"K-Katsumi!?" Together, the two squeak out glancing over at one another, the boss made sure she never told people her real name only a fair few knew her real name, close ones so who the hell was this guy!?

"Oh you may know her as Bombarda? Sorry she hates it when I use that name of hers." Shyly, he grins from ear to ear scratching the back of his neck laughing.

"Wait…you're…Fat…gum?" Haneul stares down at her diary, the boss had no Fatgum coming today, she had no meetings planned so who was this guy just to come in, they both knew how their boss was with meetings and times for someone to just demands her presence alone was a Deathwish on their part.

"Wait aren't you meant to be…?" Warily, Kane's eyes narrow at him.

"Fat. Yeah I got into a fight and well that's why I'm here." Shyly, he smiles scratching the back of his tousled blonde roots laughing.

"He's so pretty…" Haneul whispers.

"You're not wrong there." Kane leans overlooking over at the book just as the elevator door before the trio dings.

"Guys how long does this crap have to…Tai?" Tiredly, Bombarda steps out the elevator exhaustion etched into her done drained frowning features only to falter, her raw reds widening when seeing the blonde before Bombarda blurting out said name.

"Katsu!" Cheerily, the blonde beams brightly opening his arms out to her, unaware of the bunnies' sharp scowl.

"Katsu?" The sidekicks chorus confused.

"Yeah she got it when…" Tashiro begins smirking unaware of the bloodlust oozing out of her.

"The hell are you doing here Tai?" Scowling, Katsumi demands from the blonde unfazed by her demeanour.

"Geez is this how you greet old friends?" Jokingly, he chuckles as she walks past him heading to the elevator unfazed.

"We'll walk and talk." She tells him making him smile.

"Fine by me it was nice to meet you guys!" Happily, Fatgum beams brightly at the two staring stunned, saluting them before joining Bombarda's side in the elevator, leaving the two gaping, gawking at the elevator slamming shut before the two staying back in the office, oblivious to the sheer shock upon both sidekicks. The two share a look, gawking, gaping at the scene that had played out before them, reeling from it all.

*I like to think Fatgum is the Kirishima to Katsumi's Bakugo.*
