"Apologies things have been hectic of late." Apologetic, Katsumi sighs exhaustion etched into her tone as the two patrol, her hunched over, hands shoved in her pockets too tired, too done, too fed up to deal with anything as the taller, leaner, cheerer one of the two stands tall, smiling, happily waving at people, greeting them with his warm smile while she delivers her ice cold death glares at anyone eyeing her.

"Hey it's Bombarda!"

"It's rare for her patrol!"

"Bombarda thank you for your worth!"

"Urgh…" Groaning, Bombarda slumps her shoulders, feeling the earing sensation of her temple thumping in her head, hollering, heckling her making her pinch the bridge of her nose, trying to deal with it.

"Come on at least smile at them." Lightly, Fatgum gently elbows into her side as she simply side glares at the beaming boy by her side.

"Easier said than done." Grumpily, she brushes him off.

"Sorry everyone Bombarda is a bit tired right now so if we could just walk by." Cheerily, he calls out to the crowd watching them.

"Of course take all the time you need Bombarda!"

"Yeah!"

"You have my gratitude normally when I tell them that they get all angry." Annoyed, Bombarda grumbles remembering a few ingrates, she swiftly shut them up though.

"That's probably cause you tell them to piss off." Amused, Fatgum teases, crossing his arms over his chest making her falter flinching from his words.

"…Not always." Shyly, she grumbles glaring to the side, feeling a few flickers of explosions in her flexing fingertips making Fatgum snicker.

"Kids are around right?" Fatgum wiggles a brow bemused.

"Urgh…" Scowling, Bombarda huffs, glaring to the side.

"Seems you've got quite the following, congrats number four man that's some accomplishment." Happily, Fatgum praises her patting her on her back as her raw red simply twitches.

"Is it really?" Irritated, she questions him.

"Hey at least you're going up." Enthusiastically, Fatgum reminds her.

"Hey if you want the spot take it ever since I got this stupid spot I've had vulture after vulture." Scowling, Bombarda offers seething, shaking her head.

"Heh being in the spotlight never was your cup of tea." Tightly, Fatgum smiles strained.

"All I want is to be left alone why is that so hard for people to understand that?" Tensely, she questions, irritation laced in her tired tone making Fatgum's hues soften sadly from the genuine frustration spewing out of her.

"Take it as a compliment, they want to get to know you, the person they can rely on." Optimistically, Fatgum tries to offer only to see her shake her head.

"They want to know the person they can twist and turn to mould into their ideal hero or tear apart for their amusement." Angrily, Katsumi says, seething, snarling bloodlust resonating out of her making Fatgum sweat drop at the sight.

"As intense as always I see some things never change." Fatgum shakes his head at her.

"Could you not call me by my real name in public please?" Politely, she reminds him irritated.

"Oh come on we were in your agency what's the harm? Don't your workers know your real name?" Confused, Fatgum questions.

"No only Soundspark and Firefly which is how we like to keep thing there understand? We aren't one for informality." Incensed, she tells him.

"Still as social as ever… Hey are there any good food joints around here?" Fatgum sighs slumping his shoulders before perking up.

"I was wondering why you came personally." Bombarda's crimson narrow.

"Aw come on I wanted to have a meal with my old friend is that so bad?" Fatgum argues as she sighs.

"Fine but we're splitting the bill got it? You're not paying for me again." Annoyed, she reminds him.

"Yeah, yeah something's never change Katsu." Teasingly, he winks as she feels her eye twitch.

"What did I fucking say dumbass!?" Angrily, he barks at the chuckling male.

"You said your real name not nickname." Smirking, he points out as she seethes.

"Stop calling me…!" Mad, she snarls her brown roots spiking up once more.

"Haha! Still how are you? Your recent podcast wasn't the best." Fatgum asks her as they make their way over to the restaurant, one of the closest ones anyway.

"Is everyone watching that now?" Groaning, she places her head in her hands.

"Well you know I've always been a listener." Fatgum reminds her.

"True but still urgh it's not that big of a deal it's been a fair few week so its died down by now." Fairly, Katsumi reasons.

"That's good." Fatgum smiles.

"Yeah but that's just it, ever since I joined the top ten whatever I do I feel like I'm being watched I fucking hate it." Scowling, she crosses her arms over her chest visually shaking at the thought.

"Yeah I can only imagine…" Saddened, Fatgum's eyes soften sadly at his friend, he had his fair share of popularity from its high to its low.

"All I want is to eat food in peace is that so hard to understand?" Exhausted, she questions him.

"Well like I said they just want to know you." Fatgum offers.

"But why?" Baffled, Bombarda's raw reds narrow at Fatgum's soft yellow.

"Cause you're saving people, you've saved people's loved ones." Easily, Fatgum answers smiling down at her.

"They're only going to be disappointed." Despondently, Katsumi grumbles glaring to the side.

"Katsumi…" Softly, Fatgum sighs sadly noting her darkened raw reds.

"What? It's the truth I found out a kid watched me, a kid Tai! You know how much of a sailor's mouth I have!" Seething, she snaps at Fatgum fury laced in her tired tense ton.

"Well you can stop it." Fatgum offers.

"Stop it? Tai I grew up cursing, I don't think I can!" She tells him.

"You don't know if you don't try." He offers.

"So I have to change myself for them." Bitterly, she sneers crossing her arms over her chest.

"Not necessarily I mean you can still be you just behind screens." Fatgum smiles softly at her.

"And when do I know the screen isn't on me? For all I know we could have people watching us right now and…" Paranoid, she seethes baring her feral fangs furious.

"Hey, hey calm down it's alright it's okay…" Fatgum tries to calm her down noting her tense facial features.

"I hate this Tai I fucking hate this." Firmly, she snaps seething intensely.

"Hey come on things will get better tell you what how about we go get some food?" Fatgum offers making her scowl.

"I had pondered why you came here personally…" She sighs slumping her shoulders.

"Hey I came to see my friend." Fatgum smiles down at her.

"And to see the food fine, come on I know a place but we're splitting got it? No paying on my behalf." Sternly, she reminds him again.

"Alright, alright…" Smiling, he stretches his arms up in mock surrender as they leave, heading inside the restaurant…

"Wow this place looks nice!" Amazed, Fatgum beams brightly at the interior of the restaurant, his loud voice resonating making all eyes turn to them. Bombarda flinches from the sheer level of his boisterous bellow, closing her eyes her eye twitching trying to find the patience in not beating him to a bloodied pulp, the sharp sting in her head, hollering at her not helping his case.

"And usually quiet." Gently, she hints making Fatgum's eyes dilate, a faint ruby red tint to his cheeks.

"Right…sorry." Sheepishly, he smiles scratching the back of his neck making her sigh.

"It's alright I don't really order out often." She assures him as the waiter guides them over to their table, feeling all eyes on them.

"Oh don't I feel special?" Snickering, he chuckles as the waiter passes over the menu.

"Feel what you want dumbass." Katsumi huffs as she looks over the food.

"Surprised you didn't ask for a special room." Fatgum smiles.

"I'm not some self entitled prick. Besides we didn't even have a reservation we're fortunate they allowed us to sit." Katsumi snaps scowling at the menu only then for her reds to soften sadly at the male before her, eagerly looking over at the foods.

"The last fight you had must have taken a lot out of you to be in this form." Frowning, Katsumi points out her raw reds hardening only making Fatgum smile softly having seen the brief glimpse of her softened ruby reds.

"Oh that yeah…it feels weird being stared at I even had some girls compliment me they refused to even believe I was Fatgum." Chuckling, Fatgum smiles.

"Sounds like assholes to me." Mad, Katsumi grumbles.

"I'm sure they didn't mean it." Gently, Fatgum smiles.

"Still didn't mean it didn't hurt." Katsumi points out.

"Katsumi…" Fatgum sighs.

"I know you Tai you're fine in either form, thin or fat mode don't let what they say get to you got it? They should be lucky you've risking your life for them. You're you at the end of the day." Deadpanned, Katsumi states the fact to the smiling Fatgum.

"And you wonder why the media want to know about you?" Fatgum chuckles amused shaking his head at his friend as the waiter returns and they give their orders, Katsumi arching a brow by the handful of food ordered by Fatgum.

"What do you mean?" Mystifed, Katsumi's eyes narrow at him, lowering her menu. She didn't go out often for food, she wished she could someday. But she just didn't see the point in going alone anyway it would look rather sad besides she preferred take out just treating herself after some training to some takeout, then curl up on the sofa, a blanket draped over her and watch a movie or something to distract her.

"This dummy." Fatgum chuckles gesturing to the table, to them both just as the waiter returns with Katsumi's plate and a trolly of plates for Fatgum making Katsumi internally scream at the sight. But she closes her eyes collecting herself, making a note to apologise to her wallet tonight. She separates her chopsticks breaking them and beginning to eat.

"Me stuffing my face?" Frowning, Katsumi slurps the noodle dangling down from her Tori paitan.

"No silly, it's moments like these that make me wish they can see this side of you instead of writing how you're villainous, battle mad or just rude if they could see you as the rest of us do then maybe they could lay off." Chuckling, Fatgum smiles as he elaborates for her only to see her narrowed hues.

"I'm still lost here." Honestly, she confesses to her friend simply sighing.

"You don't judge you never judge people whether they be mutant, emitter or quirkless you never judge people." Passionately, he confesses making her raw reds narrow furrowing her brow as she stops her eating.

"I wouldn't say that." Tentatively, she whispers staring down at her Tori paitan prodding at the egg floating in the broth.

"Huh?" Fatgum's yellows widen when hearing her words.

"Everyone judges everyone whether we like to admit it or not we all have a bias lingering in this head of ours its whether we refuse to let this image we made in our heads change or not that is the problem." Sadly, Katsumi states the fact of it as Fatgum furrows his brow when noting her bags dangling down her exhausted drained raw reds, looking tired, defeated, solemn, sombre even as she stares down at her food.

"H-Hey come on smile I mean…maybe if I'm lucky I'll be able to have one of your cooked meals!" Smiling, Fatgum tries to change topic, noting how tired, how sad his friend seems making his own yellow soften sadly at his normally bombastic, confident, joyous friend, it must be one of her off days, he sighs sadly at the thought knowing well this could very lead to one at the least.

"I already gave you the recipe dumbass." She sighs staring down at her food.

"Yeah but nothing is quite like your food, you're not afraid to put spice in!" He tries to compliment her.

"I'm still surprised you managed to scarf so much down usually people who eat it become good friend's with the toilet." Tightly, Katsumi smiles strained making Fatgum's eyes soften even more at his friend.

"Guess I got a stomach of steel." Fatgum offers.

"I guess so. So what brings you here?" Curious, she questions him.

"Oh right I need a favour, see there's this dealer we believe him to be running a underground ring, we believe he's rigging his men with quirk-enhancing drugs." Fatgum informs her.

"And you want me on this?" Surprised, she arches a brow, she's never really called for underground missions, Kane is mainly the underground operative for them.

"You're good at close combat and with me out of commission…" Fatgum gestures to himself.

"I don't see why not. It'll be nice to be in Osaka again." Softly, Katsumi whispers considering it.

"Yeah hey maybe I can even offer you some of Osaka's food on me!" Fatgum winks.

"This coming from the guy with the sponsor for free food." Shyly, she remarks making him flinch from her words.

"Hey if you thought about being sponsored you could get more protein powder or something." Fatgum points out making her grumble.

"Alright I'm in." Amused, Katsumi smirks slightly.

"I knew you would I'll come over to your place and give you the details." Fatgum tells her.

"Of course." Calmly, Bombarda nods her head as the two continue eating to their hearts content.
