Quietly, Katsumi leans against her sofa stretched out as she has her legs draped over the other side of the sofa, laying her head on the armchair. She wears a pair of baggy jogging bottoms alongside a black and red flannel dress shirt. She has her brown roots held up in a messy bun of sorts, staring at the scene before her, watching the slicked back hair of coal of the mischievous male strutting about as the blonde brother is held down to his knees, a collar coiled around the blonde male's neck.
Frowning, she furrows her brow when hearing the vibration of her phone making her groan, craning her neck back. Without batting an eye, she picks up the phone, placing it to her ear.
"What?" Grumpily, she huffs, furrowing her brow at the rude person having the balls to disturb her during her me time.
"Ooh you picked up fast." Groaning, Katsumi's eye twitches, feeling her blood boil, burn, bubble at the sheer sound of his voice.
"I thought it was an emergency." Enraged, Katsumi sneers, feeling her eye twitch, grinding her feral fangs together, trying to deal with the fury flowing through her veins.
"Nah just wanted to check if the number works. So how ar-" Happily, Hawkes begins unaware of the look of sheer doneness upon Katsumi's' fed up fatigued facial features as she swiftly hangs up, tossing her phone to the side, trying to return to her program. Snickering, she chuckles when watching the thin lanky black-haired male soon turn from fidgeting anxiously from the fight before him to cheer, celebrating, grinning from ear to ear watching his blonde brother be thrown from side to side, tossed, turned, destroyed by the boisterous bellows of the green grain on screen screeching, screaming, shouting.
Her small smirk of amusement soon falters from the familiar vibrations of her phone making her groan, placing her head in her hands, trying to ignore it only to feel the faint pinch of behind. The teeny tiny voice saying it could be Endeavour, it could be dad, it could be mum. Immediately alarms blare upon her fearful features from the phone as she grabs the phone, placing it back on her ear and answering and as soon as she does. She feels a wave of dread, anguish and sorrow flow through her veins from the voice on the other side.
"You know its rude to hang up on people." Chuckling, Hawkes tells her unaware of her eye twitching once more.
"You got your answer." Annoyed, she snaps at him, her tone cold, curt about to hang up on her.
"Now hold on…" Hawks calls out making her groan, furrowing her brow as she stares at the screen playing out.
"This better be good. You have a minute." She warns Hawke once seeing the adverts take place.
"A minute well where do I begin? How about how are you?" Hawks asks making her raw reds twitch.
"Stop wasting my time." Tiredly, Katsumi scowls glaring at the phone not having the effort to deal with the bird boy.
"Come on why are you being so cold?" Childishly, he whines.
"Why are you being so nice?" Sceptical, she counters leaning back on her sofa.
"Because now this may shock you but there are nice people out there." Dramatically, he tells her making her scowl.
"Nice people don't call themselves nice." Assertively, she snaps.
"Look could you just chill? I'm not going to hurt you." Hawkes assures her making her scoff.
"Just as I'm sure you're not recording this conversation." Her eyes narrow at the adverts, impatiently praying for them to finish so she can hang up and finish enjoying the movie but of course fate has never been kind to her.
"You doubt me that much? I'm hurt baby bird." Hawks tells her as she shudders, disgust clear upon her fuming features.
"Stop calling me baby bird dumbass!" Frustrated, she snaps at him.
"Then stop calling me dumbass." Smirking, Hawke counters.
"Not my fault you're a dumbass dumbass!" Enraged, she snarls screeching into the phone.
"You're debate skills are astounding." Sarcastically, Hawke remarks.
"Oh just fuck off." Crudely, Katsumi rolls her eyes at him only to hear a small chuckle escapes his lips.
"Ah throw a curse in for measure that'll make your argument better." Dryly, Hawke remarks making her seethes, snarl, her feral fangs bare glaring daggers through the shaking quivering, quaking phone.
"You…!" Seething, Katsumi sees nothing but red as she tries to come up with an argument but…
"You didn't answer my question baby bird." Hawks reminds her making her shake.
"No." Coldly, she answers.
"Really?" Hawke aches a brow.
"I hate you that much." Murderously, Katsumi seethes only making Hawk's smirk wider.
"You know they say hate and love come from a similar place." Teasingly, he calls out as she leans back in her seat, her eye twitching. She pinches the bridge of her nose, exhaling shakily, trying to find some sort of peace some sort of patience.
"And you know what else is similar?" Smoothly, she points out.
"What's that?" Hawk hums.
"A stalker and a chicken hero." Snippily, she snaps back.
"Ooh look at you no cusses, no shouting though I prefer carnivores." Confidently, he looks over his nails as he says said fact.
"And I prefer you dead." Katsumi states the fact.
"Not very hero like Katsumi." Amused, Hawks chuckles bowing his head unfazed as she flinches from the name.
"Who the hell said you could use my real name dumbass?" Lowly, she seethes snarling at him, feeling her muscles tense up jolting up from her seat.
"Heard your pop says it." Lazily, he shrugs.
"You keep him out of this. You have no right to say it you don't hear me calling yours." Icily, she snaps.
"That's cause you don't know it." Hawks reminds her.
"And that's how I want it to remain that way." Curtly, she tells him.
"But Bombarda is such a mouthful Katsumi rolls off the tongue." Pouting, he whines craning his neck back.
"Do you even know what time it is?" Scowling, she turns to look up at the clock seeing it to be almost midnight.
"A number." Chuckling, Hawkes answers only to be answered by the still silence of being hung up on.
Finally, the adverts end and the film returns. Invested, Katsumi smirks. She leans in eager to see more only to falter from her phone ringing again as she tells herself to stop to ignore it, it's him, it isn't mum, it isn't dad, it isn't…
"Now that's just rude." Hawks huffs into the receiver.
"You really don't know when to give up do you?" Fed up, she glares at him trying to focus on the TV.
"Nope now about that Takoyaki." Happily, Hawkes begins.
"Over my dead body." Swiftly, she refuses.
"Oh come on it'll be fun I'll even invite Endeavour we need to get to know each other better for this team up to work don you agree?" Eagerly, he offers making Katsumi grumble, humming at the thought of chicken, free food and as much as she hated to admit it she needed to understand Endeavour if she was going to work with him at the least.
"Fine…Now stop pestering me." Sternly, she snaps at him.
"Great pick you up a-" Hawks smiles as he is about to answer only to once again be answered by the swift sound of being hung up on only making his smirk wider at the puzzling person that was Katsumi Bakugo.
