"Okay so I know this place it's pretty good stuff this will no doubt help catch you up." Smirking, Hawks tells her as they roam through the street. Katsumi scowls, not quite sure why Hawks wants this, why patrol when he seems to patrol in the sky so why stand side by side with her, they could split up cover more ground, he could see some villains from the sky and tell her where they are.
"Hawks I told you I'm fine." Firmly, Bombarda furrows her brow when he rambles, gesturing to the restaurant about the place as they walk, her hands shoved into her pockets.
"Nah it's on me think of it as a celebration of working with each other." Chirpily, Hawks offers as she furrows her brow eyeing his raw red feathers towers over Katsumi who eyes the wing above her, towering over her almost.
"You mean it's a excuse for you to stuff your face." Frankly, Katsumi deadpans.
"Come on there's no need to be a grump. Pretty solid Yakitori too maybe we should go to the hophop you can really taste the flavour in the broth." Hawks chuckles smirking amused lightly elbowing her side before gesturing to the shops before them.
"Hawks could you for once not focus on food?" Disapprovingly, Bombarda crosses her arms over her chest.
"But its like you said food is the best thing for mankind." Smugly, Hawks points out making Katsumi freeze in her steps, her brow furrowed.
"When did I say that?" Lost, she queries.
"When you were saying how chicken pizza was the best which got to say great minds think alike." Smirking, Hawks turns to face her, his gold gleaming as her stunned alarmed raw reds gape at him.
"Wait don't tell me…" Katsumi's eyes arrow as she watches him, eyeing him, feeling his piercing gaze on her as she happily glares back.
"You and your sidekicks are hilarious." Hawks continues on regardless
"This is a whole new level of weird Hawks." Scowling, Katsumi crosses her arms over her chest.
"Hey come on give yourself some credit you three are pretty popular amongst pros the stuff you talk about is pretty cool no doubt a factor in you rising in the ranks." Hawks tells Bombarda.
"Great…" Katsumi trails off, her brow furrowed frowning.
"Maybe I could join you sometime?" Hopeful, Hawks asks smirking.
"Over my dead body." Bombarda states sternly scowling.
"Oh come on it could be fun we could even announce our team up!" Perkily, Hawks points out.
"I'm just going to ignore you now." Aloofly, Bombarda brushes him off.
"Hey look it's Hawks!"
"Whoa you hardly ever see him on the streets!"
"Heyo!" Happily, Hawks smiles waving at the civilians making Bombarda's raw red twitch.
"Don't say hi back." Bombarda harshly hisses at Hawks.
"Why not?" Hawks raises a brow.
"Acknowledging them is practically feeding them now they're going to come bother us." Frustrated, Bombarda furrows her brow at Hawks just as the crowd form around the two making Bombarda's muscles tense up alarmed.
"They just want to say hi what's wrong with that?" Hawks shrugs.
"You…" Bombarda groans, furrowing her brow pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Wait what's Hawks doing with Bombarda? "
"Don't they hate each other?"
"Hawks never said that its Bombarda who does and yet she's hanging out with him, no doubt a ploy to raise in ranks!"
"Oh for fuck…" Fuming, Bombarda begins seething, craning her neck up, her eye twitching, her blood boiling, bubbling, burning, feeling a sharp searing sensation in her tense throbbing temple.
"Come on just smile and wave don't let them get to you." Gently, she feels a hand on her shoulder squeezing her shoulder as she turns to glare down at his hand.
"You're not the one having bullshit talked about you." Irritated, Bombarda brushes his hand off.
"I don't know about that…" Hawks smirks smugly looking away.
"Hey Hawks selfie?" A girl pounces on him beaming brightly.
"Sure. Cheese." Hawks smiles at the camera only then to falter, furrowing his brow when she lets him see the picture only for his gold hues to widen when seeing the lack of a certain red eyed hero by his side however just as he turns to see if she's still there…
"Hawks if you don't mind could you sign my son's backup?" Hopeful, a mother and son approach the hero.
"Sure what's your name kiddo?" Smoothly, Hawks turns his attention to the kid giving him his backpack.
"Junpei." Shyly, the boy reveals.
"Well Junpei pretty cool backpack wouldn't you think so Bom…huh?" Hawk turns to smile at Bombard but falters from when seeing the girl long gone by his side, instead he sees a girl beaming brightly up at him.
"Hawks! Someone help! Anybody!" Alarmed, he jolts up at his feathers, furrowing his brow as he turns, his gold hues widening when seeing the canine looking male, his claws digging deep into the woman's throat.
"YOU BITCH YOU KNOW WHO I AM!?" Enraged, he snarls, baring his feral fangs at her.
"A wife beater." Calmly, the robotic hand grabs hold of the male's arm.
"H-Huh?" The two jolt up at the voice.
"You look the type." Disgusted, raw red glare into the canine's coal black.
"B-Bombarda…" The woman cracks out shocked.
"DIE." Bombarda places her hand flat firing out said blast making the canine come crashing down, scorch smears all over the male's fur.
"How brutish!" The woman in the group gasp unaware of the audience on them, unaware of a wide eyed Hawks watching his eyes slitted dilated at the sight, a faint ruby red tint to his cheeks as they watch Bombarda turn to the unconscious victim, seeing the feathers pinning the unconscious male to the ground. She helps the woman up before leaving.
"Bombarda's nothing but a thug!" One of the male's cry out.
"Yeah why do you hang around her Hawks? " One of the girls placing her hand on her hips.
"H-Huh? O-Oh well…I think she's pretty cool myself." Meekly, Hawks scratches the back of his head.
"Pretty cool? She said she didn't like you Hawks!" Annoyed, one of the boys call out.
"Yes well not everyone is going to like me besides I want to get to know her so could we lay off this hate train you guys got going on?" Hawks requests from his fans making their eyes expand.
"Are you sure?" Scowling, one of the men point out.
"Yeah I mean look at what she did there, that was amazing the way she just destroyed that guy I wish I had that power all I have my flimsy feathers she has power." Hawks explains to them.
"Hawks don't say that you're great, you don't need to use violence to hurt people always!" Annoyed, one of the girls squeal.
"Yeah!" One of the boys nod his head.
"Heh thanks guys but we better continue our patrol it was nice talking to you guys though." Politely, Hawks hints as he makes his way through the crowd.
"Bye Hawks!" The group chorus cheering as they watch him leave, chasing after Bombarda.
"Thank you so much Bombarda!" Joyous, the woman beams brightly as she bows before the brunette simply shrugging off the unneeded gratitude.
"It's all fine." Calmly, she assures the woman as the groaning mess that was the villain is slowly dragged into the police wagon, leaving the scene and returning to her patrol, furrowing her brow when noting the hungry vultures swooping down firing, flashing at the scene.
"Don't mention it." She assures the woman before turning to leave, wating nothing to do with this as she shoves her hands into her pockets, wanting out of this as she turns to leave and does so that is until perking up at the gentle brush of something teasingly touching her cheek confusing her. She furrows her brow at the ghostly touch turning to stare down at a familiar ruby red feather flowing down. Groaning, she furrows her brow at the feather pinching it between her thumb and forefinger, feeling a wave of dread wash over her. Swiftly, she tosses it to the side scowling, bowing her head speed walking, becoming one with the crowd, trying to hide, trying to flee from the eagle-eyed vision of the bird above, just wanting to leave and continue on his patrol, alone.
"Bombarda…" Gently, a familiar voice calls out making her eye twitch at the voice groaning as she sighs realizing how futile the effort was when seeing more feathers brush against her cheek.
"Urgh…" She bows her head, exhaustion etched into her tired tone, her facial features fatigued. She slouches her shoulders having no time for the blonde before her, gently floating by her side before plopping back down, walking side by side with her.
"Bombarda." The voice calls out once more making her eye twitch as she feels the gentle gust of wind brush against her cheek, feeling his gloved fingertip poke her cheek making her eye twitch, fury flowing through her veins.
"…" Katsumi's eye twitches, feeling her blood boil, bubble, burn, which she uses as an agent of adrenaline providing her energy to continue on ahead, rushing on ahead.
"Bombarda!" Yet again, he continues chasing after her as she notes the bag underneath his arm making her furrow her brow.
"…" Hawks once again pokes her in her cheek making her eye twitch once more, her raw red glaring daggers at the unfazed Hawks.
"Hey isn't that Hawks?" One of the civilians call out.
"Oh my gosh he's so handsome!" A middle schooler squeals, beaming brightly at the sight of the blonde making Bombarda groan at the spotlight shining down upon the two once more while Hawks smiles meekly.
"What's he doing with someone like Bombarda?" Grumpily, one of the girls squeal, glamoured with all sorts squealing as she scowls, her brow furrowed at Bombarda her brow twitching.
"He could do so much better than some thug like her." Another one of the girls squeal.
"He could do so much better…" One of the boys agreed nodding their head.
"Hey, hey, hey…" Frustrated, Katsumi closes her eyes trying to deal with it all, trying to handle it all, trying not to end him right here right now as Hawks continue poking Katsumi's cheek time and time again making the anger ticks throbbing, her feral fangs grinding together. She tries to deal with the man-child by her side.
"Poke me one more time and I'll bite your fucking finger off." Fed up, Katsumi snaps scowling impatience laced in her tone as she snarls at him.
"Poke." Playfully, he smirks poking her cheek once more as her raw red twitches.
"Die." Swiftly, she stretches her fingertips out, aiming at her, firing said blast in his face only for him to gently grasp her hand, lowering said blast.
"Chill would ya? I knew you were hungry but I didn't think you'd actually try to eat a finger." Jokingly, Hawks chuckles as he reveals said bag for her.
"Just leave me alone." Annoyed, she groans dismissing said bag.
"Not until you eat something." Sternly, he states shoving said bag in her chest.
"You'll never leave me alone if I don't, will you?" Tiredly, she sighs as the two stop in their stops, firm gold gazing into her raw red his hands on his hips. She slouches her shoulders.
"Look at you catching on." Approvingly, Hawks smirks smugly craning his neck to the side snickering.
"Urgh you're impossible." Grumpily, she huffs as she takes a bite out of the chicken unaware of Hawks gold softening slightly when seeing her raw reds brighten up from the gesture.
"No what's impossible is working on an empty stomach." Severely, he tells her almost scolding her making her furrow her brow.
"Models would beg to differ." Scowling, she glares to the side.
"I don't know about that I eat plenty." Smugly, Hawks says his feathers fluttering behind her.
"You model?" Skeptical, she scoffs shaking her head unaware of Hawk's pout.
"Have you seen me?" Smugly, he wiggles his brow bemused.
"Modest one aren't you?" Aloofly, she playfully pushes him to the side only making him chuckle.
"Not my fault people love me." Hawks places his hands behind his head.
"I'll never understand what people see in you." Katsumi sighs shaking her head as she takes another hefty bite of the skewer.
"Rude I'm loveable." Hawks flutters his eyelashes.
"And modest too." Dryly, she grumbles glaring to the side, a part of her hating herself for feeling in debt to him.
"And you need to relax." Coolly, Hawks counters.
"Don't tell me what to do." Scowling, she snaps at him.
"You really are just a ball of anger aren't you?" Hawks exclaims.
"Only towards jackasses." Sayako states.
"You wound me my fair lady." Mockingly, he bows his head.
"Fuck off." She curses.
"Yeah you're right you a fair lady pff." Hawks chuckles shaking his head.
"You wouldn't even know what a fair lady is." Irritated, Katsumi's raw red twitches.
"My fans beg to differ." Hawks winks just as Katsumi grimaces at the sharp squeal from the girls watching longingly.
"Are yes there's nothing quite fair as a lady lusting after you after all." Annoyed, she sneers glaring at the group squealing back, dispersing from her ice-cold glare.
"You know you really should fix that jealousy of yours." Teasingly, Hawks smirks.
"And for the last fucking time I don't know how can I be jealous over some lowly extra like you?" Irritated, she snaps scowling at him.
"I wasn't saying you were jealous of me, I mean sure you're fans aren't as big as mine but who's comparing?" Coolly, Hawks remarks as Katsumi arches a brow not buying it not one bit. She looks behind her, her raw reds noting his ruby red feathers fluttering, poofing up proudly.
"I think you just answered your own question." Scowling, Bombarda deadpans, her raw red twitching at the ass before her, her brow furrowed trying to find her patience in dealing with the moron before him, noting him innocently whistling by a certain poster of him making her grunt, rolling her eyes dismissing him and continuing on her patrol. Her feral fangs chomp down on the skewer before her leaving behind the stunned Hawks doing a double take, not quite sure how to process her dismissal before beaming, his sly smirk only widening, his glint gleaming in his golden hues as he eagerly follows after the interesting case that is Bombarda.
Animatedly, the children in the preschool play with one another, chatting, conversing, gossiping, other play with their quirks, their balls or just happily speak with one another unaware of a certain brunette shying away from the group, shielded by the tall tower of the tree, the shadow draped over her from the light of day. Silently, she reads her book until…
"Hey Katsumi I heard you got your quirk!" Surprised, the girl jolts up at the voice, her ruby reds dilating at the sudden spotlight on her squirming slightly, feeling a faint ruby red tint to her cheeks from the beautiful boy before her, he has dark ruby red hair and amber eyes.
"I…" Shyly, the girl shuffles her body tensing up at the demand.
"Show it." One of the boys behind her grabs her arm making her cry out from the sharp sting of her arm.
"I-I don't want to." Tensely, the girl stutters out bowing her head wincing when feeling the sharp sting of her arm being tugged.
"Course you do everyone does. I hear it's really cool." The redhead places his hands on his hips.
"N-No thanks." Shyly, she bows her head, staring down at the floor fidgeting.
"Huh? Why not?" Angrily, the boy demands from her making her flinch.
"Show us!" Impatiently, he orders her making her whimper, her raw reds glassy, glistening staring pleadingly at them to stop as they tug at her, grabbing her book and tossing it aside making her gasp.
"Yeah! You have a quirk now right so show us!" The boy barks at her making her flinch from another shape tug forward.
"I-I…I don't want to! No please let me go! Y-You're hurting me Ryoma!" Pleadingly, she begs the redhead to stop but…
"Not until you show us." Stubbornly, he snaps making her cry out pained.
"P-Please stop!" Pleadingly, she begs tears in her eyes as her eyes expand when he reels his fist back making her gasp, placing her hand in front of her face trying to block said blow as instinct take over and she hears is…
"Bam!"
Stunned, the girl stares at the boy before her now lying flat on the ground as his lackeys burst into tears.
"Get the teacher!"
"V-Villain!"
"M-Murderer!"
"M-Monster!"
The lackey turns on their heel to tell the teacher as the girl feels her knees buckle, falling flat to the ground, the tears freely falling from her shaking quivering, quaking form. She stares at the bloodied boy before her screaming, screeching, shouting for help.
"I can't see! Everything's black! Mummy! Mummy!"
Horrified, the girl gapes at the redhead flailing wildly in the air as she simply stares at the teachers rush in just as slowly but surely her nose twitches when detecting the scent of iron in the air turning to look dumbly down at the crimson currents of raw red smeared upon her trembling flexing fidgeting fingertips…
"Someone get the teacher!"
"Someone call a hospital!"
"Someone call the police!"
"I-I'm sorry…I di…I didn't mean to…I…" Meekly, the young girl tries to say, tries to speak but nothing comes out as she stares at her classmates gawking, gaping staring shakily at her, fear clear upon each and every face…
"Did you hear Katsumi hurt Ryoma?"
"I heard he lost his eye!"
"I heard he had to go to the hospital!"
"I heard he's been transferred! "
"All thanks to Katsumi she's a villain, how could she hurt Ryoma like that!? Weren't they friends?"
"She's a villain no doubt about it…"
"Hey not bad Bombarda that was pretty cool if you don't mind me saying." Smoothly, Hawks smiles as he easily catches up to Bombarda's side, his feathers finding her easily. He catches up to her side making her raw red twitch when feeling the numerous eyes upon them as they walk through the alleyway.
"…" Silently, Bombarda brushes past Hawks shoving her hands into her pockets, her muscles tensing up at the numerus eyes on them only increase. Her ears perk up at the voices growing, louder and louder only making her strides faster and longer.
"Hey where you going?" Hawks calls out furrowing his brow at her still silence.
"It would be best for us to patrol separately." Sighing, Bombarda stops her back turned to him, trying to be civil, trying to be polite as she feels her muscles tense up.
"Huh? Come on that's ridiculous." Hawk scoffs shaking his head at him.
"That's logical we would cover more ground." Coldly, Katsumi states, trying to get him to see the logical side of it.
"And what if you come across a villain?" Hawks questions him.
"I'll deal with it." Irritated, Bombarda states.
"All on your own?" Hawks raises a brow.
"I didn't see you helping with the last one." Bombarda sneers scowling.
"You had that handled." Hawks shrugs sheepish.
"Hawks we both have different ways of going about the job while you go and be a people pleaser I'll actually do my job." Tiredly, Bombarda tells him, trying to be nice, trying to be polite.
"What's that meant to mean?" Hawks furrows his brow quirking his head to the side.
"I believe you fully know what I mean." Bombarda places her hand on her hip.
"Oh come on are you envious of my…." Teasingly, Hawke grabs her shoulder her raw red twitching dilating as instinct took over. She grabs him by his throat, tossing, pinning him to the brick wall behind them in the alleyway.
"JUST. SHUT. UP." Intensely, Bombarda sneers scowling down at Hawks, his hands up in mock surrender smirking, a faint ruby red tint to his cheeks his gold gleaming glinting dilating as they look into the pair of fierce fiery raw reds.
"You are aren't you?" Unfazed, Hawks chuckles coyly.
"All I want is to be left alone why can't you understand that?" Tensely, Bombarda demands from him baffled.
"You know being alone isn't always the healthiest option." Hawks points out.
"It's either that or have a parrot pecking at me every now and again." Angrily, Bombarda seethes, sneering, her blood boiling, bubbling, burning disgust laced in her tone.
"I prefer Hawks." Amused, Hawks smirks.
"And I prefer being alone." Angrily, she seethes snarling, her feral fangs bare before Hawks, his yellow hues darting down to them.
"You're scared." Hawks smirks.
"Excuse you?" Confused, Bombarda recoils her head back, baffled.
"I saw you, you were holding your prosthetics you're scared of crowds." Hawks points out making Bombarda's raw red dilate from his words.
"I'm scared of NOTHING." Enraged, she snarls sniffling dropping him disgusted.
"You know there's nothing wrong with having a fear it's what makes us human." Hawks coughs sitting slumped against the bottom of the floor, cradling his throat.
"It's what separates the strong from the weak and I am NOT weak." Firmly, she snaps scowling down at him as he simply stares up at her, seeing the bloodlust oozing out of her.
"I never said you were. Bombarda look I want to team up with you but how can I if we don't get to know each other?" Gently, Hawks tries to explain to her shakily standing.
"You want to team up." Tiredly, she slumps her shoulders.
"Yes." Hawks confirms.
"Then leave me alone just distract the extras and I'll do all the work." Firmly, she orders him.
"You really are afraid of people aren't you?" Hawks furrows his brow seeing her freeze form his words.
"For the last FUCKING time I am not scared of them, they don't matter to me, none of them matter to me you and the rest of them are all a bunch of extra who'll get in my way!" Angrily, she snarls snapping back at the unfazed male simply staring at her.
"Why is it I don't believe you then?" He quirks his head to the side making her seethe.
"Believe what you fucking want. Just don't come near me, when you're near people come nearer and I don't want anyone in my way." Sternly, she warns him.
"And what if I get in your way?" Amused, he arches a brow.
"You don't want to get in my way." Coldly, she snaps at him before storming off leaving him alone in the lone alleyway.
Exhausted mentally, Bombarda sits down on the bench, bowing her head, shakily exhaling as she stares out at the park before her, her raw reds softening sadly. Perhaps she was a tad bit rough back there? But she just…she always patrolled on her own, sure she would sometimes patrol with her sidekicks but even then, they never attracted that much attention like Hawks did if that was the attention she would be facing, she needed to get used to it, adapt she knew that she just…huh? This place…Bombarda's raw reds narrow at the place, feeling a strange sense of deva vu from the park presented before her.
"W-Why are you being so mean? You're making him cry kaachan! If you keep on hurting him I'll…I'll uh…I'll stop you myself!" Meekly, the young green haired boy whimpers, standing shakily before a crying child behind him, hunched over, cradling his arm.
"Hmph you wanna pretend how to be a hero? You don't stand a chance without a quirk Deku!" Deranged, the young Bakugo smirks smugly slamming his fist into his palm, a small explosion erupting from his palm. Behind him two other boys activate their own quirks, one bursting their bat like wings out while the other stretches his fingers out as the trio lunge at the meek Midoriya about to end him they are swiftly stopped by…
"ENOUGH!" Sharply, the voice snaps at the group of kids immediately stopping from the sheer intensity of the order, turning towards the voice the boys eyes dilating in horror at the older girl before the boys. The trio have looks of fear on their face, shaking, quivering, quaking the only one who doesn't is the leader. Raw reds grimace when meeting a similar scowling shade of scarlet while a pair of green glisten beaming brightly at the sheer sight of the girl.
"I-It's big sis Kasumi!" Fearful, the boy with the wings whimpers.
"I know who she is!" Angrily, Katsuki snaps at him.
"B-Big sis Kasumi!" Relieved, Midoriya smiles softly up at her.
"What are you doing to Midoriya? Why is this boy crying Bakugo?" Angrily, the brunette scowls at her little brother easily towering over him, her arms crossed over the other as the younger boy glares to the side.
"Deku thought he could play hero I'm just teaching him how the world works." Firmly, the young boy bellows.
"By bullying him how are you to be a hero by doing that? That's the act of a villain, Bakugo a bully!" Sternly, she snaps at her younger brother flinching from her words alarmed even.
"I'm not a villain! It's not my fault Deku's quirkless!" Angrily, Bakugo barks back at his sister scowling up at her which she happily returns.
"So you think you can beat him up idiot! Stop doing this or else I'll tell ma!" Mischievously, she smirks smugly.
"You wouldn't dare tell her!" Katsuki's raw reds widen alarmed at the thought.
"Just watch me!" Mad, she scowls down at him.
"Tch you're lucky my sister came to save your worthless butt Deku!" Angrily, the young Bakugo snaps at the young boy trembling, meekly whimpering from his bark only then to sweat drop when she swiftly slaps the back of his head.
"Bakugo leave!" Angrily, she snaps at the boy cradling the back of his head.
"Tch fine as if we need this place…" Pouting, the boy turns his back with his lackeys leaving the playground.
"Midoriya! Are you two alright?" Concerned, she rushes over to the boy's side helping him up before turning to the crying child.
"T-Thank you!" The crying child whimpers.
"It's no problem you should go back to your mum okay?" Gently, Katsumi places her hands on the crying child's shoulders.
"B-But what about him?" The boy questions her.
"I'll handle it yeah?" Sweetly, she smiles at him.
"O-Okay!" The child turns and leaves, leaving the two alone.
"Midoriya are you alright?" Softly, she kneels down, helping Midoriya up.
"F-Fine thanks to you." Meekly, he smiles up at her, a faint ruby red tint to his cheeks.
"I'm sorry about him Midoriya I don't know why he's acting out like this urgh Katsuki can be so stupid sometimes." Fuming, the young Katsumi huffs, crossing her arms over her chest.
"I-It's okay." Shyly, he bows his head.
"NO IT'S NOT! HOW THE HECK IS THIS OKAY!?" Angrily, she demands yelling at the boy shyly squealing back at the sheer intensity of her words.
"S-Sorry!" He bows his head making her sigh slumping her shoulders.
"It' fine I shouldn't be shouting at least not at you my stupid brother though…urgh anyway if he does anything like this again don't feel shy to knock at my door kay?" Sternly, she tells him.
"Are you sure?" He asks her.
"Heck yeah as a future hero I'll need all the training I can get. So if you ever need rescuing I'm your gal got it?" Eagerly, she winks at him hands on hips.
"Y-Yeah!" Blushing, the boy nods his head.
"Good now come on let's go see auntie Inko she'll handle the bruises on you yeah?" Happily, she takes his hand in hers, taking him to get checked on.
"Hmm…I wonder how Midoriya is going, I should see how he is I hope he's still doing that analysis book of his…" Humming, Katsumi furrows her brow at the thought unaware of a faint ruby red feather floating in the wind.
"Stop it Hitomi it hurts!" Surprised, she perks up at the voice turning towards the playground seeing two boys one of which is throwing sand at the three eyes boy making her furrow her brow at the sight.
"Not my fault you're a freak!" The boy huffs glaring down at the boy.
"Hey what's going on here?" Frowning, Katsumi furrows her brow as she kneels down to the kids.
"Um…well…" The three eyes child exclaims.
"Hitomi's a mutant!" The boy points at him.
"So?" Bombarda raises a brow.
"Mutants are freaks that's what papa says!" The boy argues.
"And your papa knows everything?" Sceptical, she arches a brow.
"Um well…" The boy bows his head.
"So you have three eyes? Pretty cool." Katsumi smiles at the boy.
"R-Really? I…I can make more on my body." Blushing, the boy smiles staring down at his fidgeting fingers unaware of the sharp scowl from the boy before.
"I bet you'd be an amazing scout as a hero." Katsumi tells him.
"You...you think?" Hopeful, Hitomi asks beaming brightly at the thought.
"As someone in the business I promise you." Katsumi winks.
"No way to be a hero you need a powerful quirk like Bombarda she can blow stuff up!" Furious, the boy bellows angrily.
"But that stuff that's blown up can hurt innocent people like your dad without any support she's struggle." Smoothly, Katsumi points out.
"And what would you know?" Huffing, the boy crosses his arms over his chest.
"Well I know when I'm working I rely on my friend's Soundspark support with his sound quirk and if I need more sweat I have my friend Firefly make the atmosphere hotter to deal deadlier blows." Katsumi explains to the boy.
"Y-You're …those are Bombarda's sidekicks then that means…!" Gasping, the boy exclaims.
"Bingo was his namo." Smirking, she winks at the boy.
"No way!" Excitedly, both boys gasp.
"Can I have your autograph?" The boy asks her.
"I don't know…" Katsumi glances to the side.
"Huh?" Hurt, the boy exclaims.
"I mean you're not a mutant I only give them out to mutants." Katsumi exclaims.
"B-But…that's not fair!" Fuming, the boy barks at her.
"Now tell me how does that feel?" She questions him confusing him as he takes a moment before answering.
"I…I feel sad, hurt." The boy answers.
"Imagine how Hitomi feels when you do that to him then?" She gestures to Hitomi squeaking slightly.
"H-Hitomi I'm…I'm sorry I just…I want my quirk os bad and when you…I feel like you show it off all the time at school." Apoplectic, the boy bows his head.
"It's okay can we play ball?" Hopeful, he asks.
"Y-Yeah." The boy nods his head.
"Pass me that ball for a moment?" Katsumi tells the two.
"Um sure." Hitomi passes the ball as she takes out a marker from one of her pockets.
"Here." Smoothly, she writes on it.
"Wow! Thank you so much." The boys chorus cheerfully.
"Don't mention it." She stands up towering over the two smiling accomplished unaware of a curtained winged hero having watched the scene play out, his gold's wide with shock before softening, a small smirk upon his lips at the sight before him.
Tiredly, Bombarda sits down on the bench, her brow furrowed as she leans back against the bench, her brow furrowed. She exhales shakily, closing her eyes trying to ignore her tense throbbing temple, trying to ignore the searing sensation as she pinches the bridge of her nose. Tired, she leans back, craning her neck back against the top of the bench only then to flinch from the smooth surface of something cold brush against her temple, making her furrow her brow at the liquid from the sweat sliding down the can.
"Didn't think of this as a kid person." Surprised, she jolts up at the voice turning to look up seeing the mint coffee gently brushing against her temple, giving her a small sense of comfort. She looks up, her raw reds meeting a pair of glimmering gold, gleaming mirth marred into his eyes.
"So you going to take it or…?" Unsure, Hawk teasingly wiggles the can about making the brunette roll her eyes exasperated before swiftly snatching said can from Hawks making him smile softly. He joins her side, opening the can and taking a small sip of her own.
"Why are you so afraid of your quirk?" Hawks asks after a moment of silence making her roll her eyes exasperated. He offers his can out to her clinking his with hers forcibly. He smiles strained while she simply scowls.
"What did I tell you? I am not…" Frustrated, Katsumi reappears once again annoyed.
"Weak I know. I never said you were." Hawks sighs slumping his shoulders.
"…" Sceptical, Katsumi's eyes narrow before leaning back against the bench, feeling the faint flutter of feathers making her raw reds glance up at the ruby red wing towering over her protectively almost as she rolls her eyes.
"Why do you think I do?" Hawks asks her fascinated.
"Because everyone else does. When I first lost my arm U.A had planned to put me into generals studies they thought I wouldn't be able to catch up." Sternly, she tells Hawks.
"But you did." Hawks points out.
"Only out of spite, if someone tells me I can't do something I'll do it so there." Bitterly, she sneers.
"There what?" Hawks furrows his brow.
"Something you can use to make me do what you want. That's what the commission want form me right? To reform? To become their perfect little hero, that's why you're here to befriend me to make sure I become what they want…" Spitefully, she sneers.
"You know I'm not just some spy for the commission right? I'm my own person." Hawks sighs slumping his shoulders.
"Then maybe start acting like one." Irritated, she scowls at him.
"Hm?" Hawks hums.
"This fake need to want to be my friend it's annoying. Stop it." Irritated, she tells him.
"It isn't fake I want to get to know you." Honestly, Hawks confesses.
"Why?" Angrily, she demands from him.
"Because you interest me, not my fault the commission have good taste in heroes." Playfully, Hawks jokes lightly elbowing Katsumi.
"…" Scowling, Katsumi glares at him, her raw reds glaring daggers down at him.
"Did you…hurt someone in the past? Is that why you fear using your quirk around people…" Pensively, Hawks questions, his eyes narrowing noting her faint flinch.
"What you said before about envying me being a power type you have no idea how much shit we get into from it." Incensed, Katsumi glares down at her drink.
"Hm?" Hawks hums sipping his drink.
"You say we have power to fight but we don't. We have to take into consideration everything from the people, from the buildings to even the air around us. Anything I can do could kill thousands, dozens of people your feathers on the other hand although can kill can save people. You're versatile but me? If a single person dies its by my hand, it's by my explosion whether that be the tremor of an explosion of the aftermath of it. I could make someone blind with my stun gun for goodness's sake." Scowling, Katsumi leans back on the bench as she explains, looking up at his feathers one of the fray feathers brushing against her cheek as she pinches it.
"They aren't dead though." Hawks offers, a faint ruby red when seeing such intensity in her eyes towards a singular feather.
"They aren't the same anymore though. They change, their whole life changes losing something that vital which the vultures just pounce on." Bitterly, she sneers returning the feather back to Hawks.
"Vultures?" Sheepishly, Hawks grabs the feather pinched between his fingertips.
"The media…" Katsumi sneers trailing off.
"Vultures huh…I like that comparison. But no I get what you mean Endeavour goes through the same with his flames, the media like to oin most of the issues on him either due to his attitude or quirk." Hawks agrees nodding his head.
"It's a headache dealing with….so be lucky with the quirk you have I'd give for something like that." Truthfully, Katsumi slumps her shoulders.
"Wait…are you jealous of my quirk?" Hawks perks up at the reveal.
"…I'm having a heart to heart with you and that's what you conclude? You went back to your obsession with me supposedly envying you!?" Frustrated, Katsumi's raw red twitches, feeling her blood boil, bubbling, burning at the blonde bimbo before her.
"You are jealous of my quirk! You didn't deny it!" Happily, Hawks feathers flutter proudly at the reveal just as her eye twitches.
"We're done here." Fed up, Katsumi stands up from the bench, tossing the now squashed crashed can into the nearby bin.
"You're jealous you're jealous!" Victorious, Hawks cheers childishly making her grumble glaring at the ass, his wings fluttering freely as he too tosses the can into the bin.
"DIE." Icily, she snaps snarling at him.
"Chill I'm just teasing still I'm not taking back what I said you really are an amazing hero!" Hawks tells her making her freeze in her steps.
"…" Stunned, she freezes from his words, feeling a wave of heat wash over her making her turn to snarl baring her feral fangs at the smirking Hawks.
"Are you blushing?" Coyly, Hawks raises a brow smirking smugly amusement laced in his tone, his eyes dilating when seeing her raw red blush blistering across her cheeks.
"DIE." Angrily, she snarls stretching her arm out as an explosion emits from her palm before storming off, leaving the now cooked smoked chicken away his leg twitching. He lies flat on the ground, smiling, shaking his head, chuckling amused. He watches her fleeting form leave before stretching his wings out and joining her side once more as they continue their patrol…
*Aw a day out for the two also yeah I like to think that Katsumi is very much touch starved due to her fear of her quirk. Also what did you think of this chapter? Would love to know what you think of Hawks and Katsumi now or of her dynamic with Izuku and her brother! By the way thank you for the first review I get why you see Bombarda like that. I think what annoyed her was his attitude towards it all this was middle school Katsuki after all. I don't approve of what she said but I feel as if it's in her character for the two to be like that.*
