"Shit!" Sharply, the sound of glass breaking echoes throughout the house making the blonde gasp. Scared, she comes crashing down, clumsily catching herself on the counter, using her elbow as some sort of anchor, trying to keep her steady, trying to make sure she doesn't fall flat into the shards below.

"Katsumi?" Horrified, her raw reds dilate at the concerned call of her name, feeling her heart drop, feeling her fingertips curl into her inner palm. The piercing sting of her palm snaps her out of her thoughts as her raw reds gaze at her crimson crescents, seeing the small smears of ruby smeared upon her inner palm, now chalk white as she shakily stands, trying to steady herself, heaving, huffing.

"I-It's fine!" Struggling, she tells him as she stares down at the scattered shards of glass below.

"Are you sur-" Masara calls out unaware of the young blonde bowing her head, slamming shut the dam threatening to break.

"I said I'm fine. I can handle this!" Sternly, she screams. She tries to slowly lower herself only to gasp at the sharp sting below. The blonde bows her head, biting her lip, feeling a familiar sharp sting. Shakily, she stands, her legs buckling. She tries to ignore the sharp searing sensation below only to find her legs come crashing down making her whimper when feeling the sharp sting sensation below.

"Katsumi are you…Katsumi!" Horrified, Masara rushes in, his eyes wide in horror to see her squirming from the pain below.

"I'm fine!" Fuming, she snaps making Masura flinch from her words.

"Let me…" Gently, Masura kneels down about to take the glass but…

"I can do this myself, I don't need to be babied…!" Bitterly, she screams snapping at her father flinching from her words.

"R-Right…" Shyly, Masara smiles as he watches her take the dust and pan from the lower cabinet, scooping the shards into the pan pinched underneath her armpit.

"H-Hey Kasumi." Meekly, Masura smiles leaning against the kitchen counter watching her pour the shards descending down into the bin below, looking hopeful only to falter from her dead looking raw reds.

"What?" Scowling, she sighs slumping her shoulders.

"Your mother and I were talking we were thinking of having a hiking trip this weekend we were wondering if you wanted to come." Masura reveals to her, smiling softly at her.

"You're going on a lot of them recently, you should focus on your work more." Katsumi advises her father.

"Y-Yeah so what do you think?" Softly, he smiles at her back as she bows her head, her brow furrowed.

"No thanks." She answers making Masura slump slouching his shoulders.

"Why not Kasumi?" Gently, Mitsuki whispers as the two glance over at the blonde brow furrowed, crossing her arms over her chest, concern clear upon her features as she leans against the doorway.

"I just…don't feel like it alright?" Annoyed, Katsumi glares to the side making both parents sigh sadly at her.

"Besides why would you want a cripple coming? I'd only hold you back right?" Pained, Katsumi bows her head as both parents flinch from her words.

"Katsumi! You're not…" Mad, Mitsuki begins but falters from Masaru shaking his head at her.

"Katsumi you know…" Delicately, Masaru tries to speak but they are swiftly silenced by the furious fist smeared with crimson slamming shakily down on the kitchen counter.

"I know what I am okay!? Stop acting as if it isn't the truth I know what I am, I'm a burden sponging off my parents thanks to this stupid fucking-" Fuming, Sayako begins her voice cracking breaking, the tears freely falling as the tremors of her fist course through her sore stinging fist before she comes crashing down to her knees only to feel a pair of warm arms wrap around her. She sees both her parents hold her, rocking her back and forth.

"Katsumi you're not a burden your mother and I love you so much you…you could put on your prosthetic, the UA support worked really hard on it." Tearful, Masaru whimpers, his voice cracking breaking briefly as she sniffles.

"But it's not my arm." Anguished, Katsumi bows her head into her mother's arms as she feels her mother comb her fingertips through her blonde roots.

"Katsumi…" Mitsuki whispers, placing her lips upon her daughters temple.

"I can't even fucking do any sort of explosions." Ashamed, she hiccups bowing her head staring down at her bloodied fist.

"That's not true they said they can collect your sweat and…" Masaru begins only to falter from her harsh sob making the two Bakugo's share a look, knowing no words would reach their daughter as they simply hold her, letting her know she isn't alone…

Groaning, Katsumi grimaces at the sharp sound of retching bringing her back to the world of reality as she stands up slightly on her bed, her raw reds narrowing noting the light of the bathroom, making her sigh. She approaches the kitchen, ignoring the sharp chill of ice from the smooth surface of the tiled floor. She takes out some bottled water and medicine from the cabinet, before approaching the bathroom. She knocks gently only to hear a groan as she opens the door, peering in to see the blonde before her, spewing out his inside, with his gold glaring up at her ruby reds.

"So there it is finally your eyes match your…" Smugly, Katsumi begins hand on her hip smirking smugly victorious about her so called win only to falter, trailing off when seeing his glazed glassy gold, recognising those eyes anywhere. Slowly, she kneels down as she slowly reluctantly reaches out to Hawks who simply stares numbly before bowing his head letting her fingertips comb through his blonde roots. She notes the sense of peace plastered upon his face leaning into her touch as she passes him the water which he shyly sips before spewing out his insides once more as she holds his hair back or at the least rub patterns into his back, letting him lean on her during this time before long it ceases.

"You wanna go watch jaws?" Softly, she whispers as Hawks cranes his neck back, nuzzling into her neck as her fingertips comb through his blonde roots before shyly nodding. She picks him up bridal style as she sets him down and before long, the two are watching said movie with Hawks lying flat on her chest, no words needing to be shed as the silence speaks volumes for both of them…
