"Home sweet home!" Happily, Tai stretches his arms out towards his apartment as the two enter the room.

"Urgh…." Exhausted, Katsumi shyly shuffles into the room, grimacing, groaning.

"You okay tiger?" Tai smirks hands on his hips.

"I no longer have the energy to deal with anyone now." Katsumi drops her duffle bag.

"It is pretty late time to head for bed." Tai looks up at the clock on the wall.

"If I didn't know you I'd have killed you by now." Bitterly, she sneers scowling at Tai.

"But you won't." Tai winks cheekily at her draping his arm around her.

"Urgh…." She groans falling flat on the couch below her.

"Heheheh." Chuckling, Tai shakes his head at her slumped figure.

"You're a real piece of work you know that." Grumpily, Katsumi glares lightly at Tai.

"You mean I'm a real pizza work right?" Cheekily, Tai winks as Katsumi groans slamming her head into the sofa pillow, muffling her screech.

"DIE." Sharply, she snaps at him.

"Heheh, all right, all right I'll stop, I'll set your bed up." Tai places his hands up in mock surrender.

"I'm fine sleeping on the sofa." Lazily, she dismisses him.

"Come on I can't do that to you not after last night." Tai argues.

"Tai seriously it's fine I barely have the energy to talk let alone take a single step." Sighing, she slams the pillow further into her head.

"Alright, but don't complain to me about having a bad neck." Tai sighs shaking his head at her.

"Yeah, yeah." Dismissively, she brushes him off.

"You want some coffee?" He asks making her scowl.

"I want sleep wait why do you have coffee?" Confused, her eyes narrow at him.

"Bought it for you. I know you like coffee so…" Tai tells her.

"Tai as touching as that is what I want is the opposite of coffee." Grumbling, she turns her back to him.

"Tea?" He asks.

"A good night sleep." Sighing, she deadpans.

"Right, right sorry I'll leave you to it. Night." He tells her gently placing a blanket over her.

"Night." Katsumi groans as she curls into the blanket draped over her form, snuggling into the sofa before her as she feels her eyelids turn heavy falling flat as she falls into the dark depths of her dreams once more.

The shy beep of the monitor echoes throughout the bleach white walls of the room where silently, the woman stands in the room. The stench of bleach hangs heavily in the air as the woman's nose twitches at the sickly stench.

Hollow raw red gaze up at the ceiling above as she simply stares, hearing nothing but ringing and the beep of the monitor, the people by her side talking, their mouths moving, frantically. Her raw reds narrow at the sight scowling, clear confusion upon her facial features. How long had she been here? How long had she been strapped to these machines? To these tubes? To this blasted bed? Frustration flows through the young girl glaring up at the ceiling, her bloodshot bloodred glaring up at the ceiling, trying to bite her lip trying to bite back the tears threatening to fall.

She looks over at the seats seeing no one perched upon the seat, so they left. They couldn't be here for her all the time they had her brother to care for, Katsuki is he okay? Worry descends down her veins at the thought, she had asked but had heard nothing they had answered as per normal but her ears had heard nothing but the same ringing. She shouted at them, she believes anyway as she feels the dryness of her eyes, bloodshot, she snapped at them again. Groaning, she leans back into the plump plush pillow behind her grimacing at the sharp sting of her head aching. She perks up at the TV hovering hanging in the air, her raw reds narrowing nothing the numerous articles of a certain hero being slandered, watching as pandora's box on her boss's past open up. It was all her fault, she wasn't meant to fight, she wasn't meant to interfere, she wasn't meant to do anything and yet she still threw herself at the villain and now thanks to her, her boss' past was being blown wide open to the media, to the public, to the whole country. She furrows her brow at the brunette before her smiling shyly as a photo soon flashes of a boy, his gold glaring into the camera. It was all her fault, she was the trigger to her mentor's fall…if she had just listened, if she had just obeyed if she had just…

She closes her eyes exhaustion etched into her fatigued facial features, feeling the guilt swell within her, trying to blink back the tears threatening to fall, the drugs dosing her countering it, fighting back the dam. She flinches from the sudden sharp sound of fighting, an outburst of some sort. Her muscles tense up making her hiss wincing at the sharp searing sensation coursing through her body by the sound of arguing outside. What was going on!? A villain attack? A…Katsumi grimaces as she tries to stand but falters from the sudden shift of weight causing her to come crashing down on the bed, frustration flows through her. She glares at the culprit of the trip staring at the empty sleeve before her pained. Why had this happened? Why hadn't she been strong enough? Why hadn't she just…

"Katsumi!" Startled, she flinches from the voice turning towards the blonde blur lunging into her room making her eyes expand at the sheer sight of the bloodshot blonde before her, sniffling, whimpering rushing over to her side. She stares stunned at the male before her, her superior staring down at her, his gold glassy as he talks, she furrows her brow at his words having no rhyme, no clue, no hint of what the blonde blabbers about as the tears freely flow from him. She looks around seeing the lost looking doctors peering in as the male bows his head sobbing his heart out making her raw reds soften sadly at the sight. She exhales, closing her eyes just letting him rant as slowly but surely, she reaches out to him, gently placing her hand on his head.

"It's alright." Gently, she whispers wincing at the sudden hoarseness of her throat feeling as dry as a desert. When was the last time she drank or even ate? She had no idea but that one action alone had stopped the blonde, his gold gaping, gawking at her as a still silence lingers in the air before he wraps his arms around the startled blonde, not quite sure what to make of the blonde buffoon before her simply reassuring him that all is well when in actuality it wasn't…none of it was well, nothing was well, she was not well nor would her mentor from the looks of things…from the looks of things she had ruined everything, her career, her mentor's career and the agency's sidekicks careers in general…

Chirpily, Fatgum beams brightly as he stands before the stove whistling happily as he hears the sharp sizzle of the frying pan, the grease sizzling singing. He moves the bacon from side to side focusing on the task at hand. He couldn't wait to see the look on Kat's face when she wakes up to breakfast in bed, she deserved it after treating him, he always liked the look on her face when she ate something she enjoyed, the way her raw reds would gleam would make his day. Tai stops briefly by the low groan resonating from the sofa making him smile after finishing cooking his food, he slides the bacon on the plate with scrambled eggs on the pristine plate on the tray, where by the tray's side is a mug steam spewing out of the cup with a familiar bright broad grin on the yellow mug, a Fatgum gum making her sweat drop at the sight of his merch with some pills to the side. He didn't like roaming in her bag but he was worried she didn't bring them, she would forget sometimes.

"Good mo-H-Hey what's wrong?" Tai gasps as he strolls in only to falter gawking, gaping at the sight of Katsumi, seeing her panting heaving form, her hands on her chest the tears freely falling as she shakes, quivers, quakes.

"H-Hey it's okay….it's alright…you're safe. You're safe." Softly, Tai places the tray down rushing over to Katsumi's side placing his hands on her shoulders squeezing them, trying to comfort his shaking friend, hugging her.

"C-Come on there's no need to cry." Gently, Fatgum draws patterns into her back, trying to console her as she leans into his touch trying to blink back the tears threatening to fall.

"It's…it's nothing." Weakly, Katsumi whispers bowing her head, her reds glassily glance over at the pills, no words needing to bed shared as he offers her the orange juice.

"It clearly isn't nothing it takes something big for you to cry." Tentatively, Tai tells her as she swallows said pills with the aid of her drink.

"Just…memoires, nothing big." Groggily, she whispers pinching the bridge of her nose rubbing her eyes slightly.

"I'm guessing about the arm." Sighing, Tai assumes brow furrowed, kneeling down by her side.

"No it was last Christmas." Coldly, Katsumi rolls her eyes exasperated.

"It was…?" Tai blinks befuddled baffled even as he blinks a fair few times trying to handle it all.

"I was being sarcastic." Scowling, Katsumi grumbles glaring to the side.

"O-Oh…heh." Shyly, Tai smiles softly, a faint ruby red tint to his cheeks as he scratches his cheek with his forefinger.

"Look it's nothing. Hey what's…what's this?" Katsumi quirks her head to the side, brow furrowed when taking note of the breakfast, seeing the food finely proudly presented before her, her eyes widening when seeing the display.

"Well I thought I'd expresso my gratitude for your hospitality so here." Mischievously, Tai winks as he then offers a mug of coffee to her, her eyes wide when seeing the small streaks of steam spew out from the coffee.

"Tai you didn't have to…" Tentatively, Katsumi sighs gingerly accepting the mug, her fingertips coiling around the mug feeling the warmth spread throughout her fingertip, feeling her fingertips flex around the mug enjoying the heat as she lightly blows on it, brushing the steam aside.

"I wanted to." Tai tells her resolute, smiling softly at her bringing a small smile to her own lips. She sniffles, bringing her legs closed to her chest, shuffling into the corner.

"…You're an idiot you know that?" Chuckling, she shakes her head at him, chuckling under her breath bemused as she takes a brave shy sip of her drink.

"Maybe but I'm your idiot." Smiling, Tai winks as he plops himself down on the sofa, pillows leaping up high into the air as he then picks up the other mug by her side, a similar cup to her own only orange with the big bright broad grin on it as he offers his cup to her.

"Dumbass." Katsumi chuckles shaking her head at him amused as she clinks her mug with his, the sharp sound echoing throughout the room as the two share a small smile with one another.

"Well I don't know how well to express my gratitude so I thought this could make up for it." Giggling, Tai winks once more leaning back against the sofa as Katsumi lowers her mug taking the tray in her lap, looking down at what is on offer even if her stomach isn't exactly pleased with it.

"Tai you didn't have to do this you don't owe me anything." Touched, Katsumi tells him gingerly taking the fork.

"And last I said I wanted to." Tai reminds her as she notes the bits and pieces cut up on her behalf, a part of her huffs at the sight she wasn't a kid sure she didn't have her arm on right now but that didn't mean she couldn't put it back on and cut for herself. Still it was sweet of him, she'll give him that.

"Urgh…you're such a dumbass." Guilty, Katsumi groans at the sharp sting in her chest as she cranes her neck back leaning against the top of the sofa.

"You have said that." Tai snickers smirking.

"I mean how many more puns you got in that arsenal of yours?" Intrigued, she asks him.

"I've got a whole bunch want to hear more?" Merrily, he asks eager to share.

"You're such a dork." She shakes her head at him once more.

"Maybe I am, nevertheless enjoy your food and rest, the meeting isn't anytime soon." Tai tells her.

"Right…" Smirking, Katsumi arches a brow bemused as Tai takes a small sip of the substance only then to well…

"Pwahh!" Disgusted, Tai grimaces poking his tongue out disgust drenching his facial features.

"I thought you didn't like coffee." Coyly, Katsu recalls.

"I don't my soul isn't as dark as your pitch black one." Jokingly, Tai gently clicks his mug against hers once more making them laugh.

"Oh hahah," Katsumi scoffs and rolls her eyes endearingly as the two sit on sofa and watch tv, to their heart content unaware of his arm over the sofa top as they watch the show play on…

"Right so I take it you all know why you're here." Tsukauchi sighs as he turns towards the small group before him where Bombarda leans against the wall, her arms crossed over her chest, her raw reds glued upon the PowerPoint presentation, the detective displays for them to understand the small situation Bombarda has found themselves involved in. She furrows her brow at the vibrations in her pocket, feeling the squirming, shaking, quivering, quaking vibrations of her phone making her curse internally at the sensation. Still she remained strong, firm, listening to the detective's words further furrowing her brow when feeling the faint vibrations in her phone, fortunately it falls to deaf ears of the others engrossed by the detective's words.

Irritated, she shoves her hand into her pocket, prying her phone out of her pocket, turning to glare daggers down at the phone, her raw red twitching at the phone seeing the numerous texts shooting out from the text. She looks up at the sender scowling at the title of my chicken nugget making her eye twitch at the sight seeing the bubble upon bubble of speech text on the phone from where are you? Are you okay? Are you in danger? Phone me. Katsu grunts, rolling her eyes at the numerous texts, noting a fair few missed calls but brushes them off, focusing on the task at hand.

"The drug ring?" Bombarda gathers raising a brow bored almost at the small-scale room she has found herself in. She didn't know it would be so small scale then again Tai wasn't exactly a well-known hero sure he did drug traffic stuff mostly but Bombarda couldn't help but feel a tad bit disappointment at the small scale assault she had gotten herself into.

"Exactly. Thank you again for helping us with this Bombarda." Tsukauchi turns to Bombarda nodding her head in understanding, Naomasa is a tall man with short, black hair and somewhat rectangular black eyes. A rather bland person in terms od description.

"It's fine. So you want me to fight in a few matches." Smugly, a small smirk crosses Bombarda's lips at the thought, a glint gleaming in her murderous raw reds, a small streak of a grin crossing her lips making the few police officers watching on flinch from her words, feeling the waves upon waves of bloodlust making the officer squirm slightly in their seats sinking into them tensely, fearful of the supposed hero.

"Not exactly you see the drug dealer runs a nightclub he want you to get information out of him." The girl by the detective side corrects Katsu who furrows her brow from her words.

"And you want me to do that? You have seen my face plastered all over the place right?" Scowling, her eyes narrow at the detective, they would know who she was and try to flee, they'd know she was a pro especially since her escalation in the position. Her face was already on the screens.

"That's why." Tsukauchi smiles hands on his hips.

"That's why?" Lost, Katsumi quirks her head to the side lost, confusion laced in her tone.

"You're a controversial figure in the hero community, the ring will accept you because they'll think you're trying to have a thrill, they'll think they can use this as blackmail against you." Tsukauchi reveals to Katsumi.

"They know I don't care about my publicity right?" Unsure, Katsumi points out, she had repeated this time and time again on screen, if they had a brain they'd see right through her or maybe not…urgh she didn't know frankly she didn't care she just wanted to get this job done with. She wasn't taking a part the whole ring yet only a subsidiary of it which to be honest rubbed her the wrong way was she not good enough to take down the whole ring? No, they just didn't have enough information but then again why call her? Sure she liked doing this missions, the chances of paparazzi showing up were unlikely which made things easier on her end but even then she was in the top ten now, she would like to be doing something to make a different then just throw some pin into a bunch of clogs that could easily be cleaned out and fixed. Maybe it was her impatience getting to her, yeah that had to be it.

"Not now you don't but no doubt they'll think with the media over time you'll begin to care so wait a year or so and you'll be desperate to get rid of this dark patch in your history." Tsukauchi tells her.

"…That's a lot of assumptions there." Warily, Katsumi's eyes narrow at the thought.

"You're the best shot we've got with your quirk." Tsukauchi says to her.

"Right…right…I'll see what I can do." Sighing, Katsumi steps forward shoving her phone back into her pocket, just wanting this over with.

"Perfect." Pleased, Tsukauchi smiles clasping his hands together.

"Man I can't believe it I love it when a big strong hero can protect me." Merrily, Monika cheers as Katsumi looks over at the short, petite girl with quite a round face and semi-circular eyes, their irises white. Her hair is short, and worn styled like a crab's body in two high bunches with claw-shaped ends, six short tufts protruding out to the sides, and split bangs hanging over each eye.

"Who says I'm protecting you?" Katsu's eyes narrow at the stranger, she could protect herself she was on the force for a reason after all.

"H-Huh?" Monika blurts out as Katsu scowls.

"Sorry Kaniko Katsumi isn't one for jokes especially when its working hour." Tai tries to be the peacemaker between the two.

"We're working Fatgum you will refer to me as my hero name understand?" Curtly, Katsumi reminds Tai, they were friends sure but this was business.

"Aye, aye captain." He sighs saluting her.

"Well you're certainly whipped." Monika snickers.

"I wouldn't have to if he actually behaved professionally." Politely, Katsumi intervenes.

"Hey I can be professional!" Tai sighs.

"Now, now no need to be so crabby! Hehehe!" The girl does some strange face as the detective sighs and Katsu simply stares.

"Do...do you need the restroom?" Katsumi blurts out eyeing the girl.

"H-Huh?" Monika blurts out.

"You look like you're about to shit a brick." Bluntly, Katsumi deadpans making Monika flinch from her words.

"E-Excuse you?" Monika says shocked as Tai can't help but sigh at his friend he knew how blunt she could be at times.

"Tsukauchi if that's all…" Unfazed, Katsumi turns to him.

"The rest is in the file." Tsukauchi assures her.

"Thanks." Bombarda then turns heading towards the door.

"H-Hey come back here!" Monika calls out annoyed angrily as Tai simply sighs at the mess his friend found herself in as he follows after the two heading to the nightclub…
