"Oh my gosh its Hawks!" Happily, Minako squeals, a raw red tint to her already flustered features making Katsumi groan, slamming her face in her hand at the drunken dame openly squealing at the sight of the blonde. No doubt relishing the attention with that shit-eating grin she wants nothing more than to wipe off whether it by punching his face or slamming his face into the counter, either would do she wasn't fussy.

"Oh boy…" Tai glances over worriedly at Katsumi noting her tension, her discomfort, her furrowed frown as his own rise, his golds widening when seeing her down her drink, needing the shot to handle the moron that had just entered as he noted the fluttering feathers move about a bit.

"Speak of the devil hey Katsumi!" Happily, Hawks ignores Monika making his way over to the grump grunting Katsumi bowing her head down at her drink.

"Kill me." Groaning, Katsumi moans bowing her head pained, drained by his voice. He places his hand on her shoulder unfazed by the aura of sheer bloodlust of sheer hatred, of sheer and utmost fury flowing through Katsumi unable to keep it within, unable to keep it sealed, resonating bloodlust as her raw reds glare daggers at the happy Hawks, his wings fluffing up as the stray feather flies back over to Hawks, returning to its brother and sisters. He flaps his wings slightly jovial almost as Tai grimaces, winces when feeling the gust brush against Tai pushing him back slightly as he looks over up at the wings towering over him as gold glare into a similar shade of his own. He blinks, glancing from side to side not quite sure what to make of the ice-cold glare from the normally laid-back number three hero.

"Hah, afraid I can't do that." Amused, Hawks pats Katsumi's back chuckling amused almost at her frustration, dread plastered upon her facial features.

"…" Silently, Bombarda taps her forefinger against the cool counter the bartender nods his head catching onto the gesture. He pours another drink for Katsumi swiftly downing it making Hawks arch a brow bemused impressed almost by her drinking skills.

"Bombarda hey, Endeavour was wondering where you had been these past few days." Smiling, Hawks tells her leaning by her side leaning into the plush pillow of his glove smirking up amused by her. She simply glares daggers down at him clearly unimpressed, unamused.

"I believe Kane and Haneul told you where I had been not that it has anything to do with you." Tiredly, Katsumi grumbles glaring to the side. She glares down at her drink, a part of her disappointment to find her unable to swallow back her sorrows seeing no substance of escapism left for her, feeling the blistering blush heighten.

"With me maybe not but the commission beg to differ." Smoothly, Hawks intervenes, his feathers fluffing up further making Tai arch a brow noting him leaning into her as she simply stares ahead angrily, glaring daggers at who knows where now…

"And you think I give a shit about either of you?" Curtly, Katsumi sneers crudely, disgust laced in her tired tone.

"You seem to give a shit over fatso." Crudely, Hawks deadpans his gold narrowing as Katsumi flinches from his words, Tai gulping nervously noting the fiery fury emanating from the blonde by his side. He scuttles to the side, gently placing his hands on the still drunken Monika, trying to scoot her out of the way, trying to keep her out of the crossfire between both pros.

"I'm sorry the fuck you call him?" Icily, Katsumi snaps slamming her fist down on the counter, cracks forming from the sheer sharp slam of her fist.

"Hey Kat it's…" Tensely, Tai smiles strained, sweat sliding down his tense temple moving his hands up in mock surrender, sliding in between the two once the coast is clear for the drunken Monika lowly snoring making strange crab noises. He slides in-between the two, trying to diffuse the tension between both heroes.

"Now listen here Hawks I have been painting with you to a point of which most would have snapped. But if you dare stoop to this level of childishness I will not hold back." Icily, Katsumi tries to warn him, trying to be polite trying to be patient but…

"Is that a threat?" Hawks quirks his head to the side.

"And if it is?" Katsumi counters crossing her arms over her chest.

"Not very hero like it is." Teasingly, Hawks wiggles his brow bemused.

"And insulting a fellow hero is?" Coolly, Katsumi argues annoyance etched into her tone lowering her arms to her sides.

"Please he's what in the 40's you call that a hero? Not to mention look at him he looks more like a plush than a he-" Obnoxiously, Hawks begins childishly as Katsumi's raw red twitch before next thing she knew, she heard the crisp crunch of bone, feeling her arm throbbing, sting slightly as the next thing she hears is…

"KATSUMI!" Tai yells at her snapping herself out of her thoughts staring stunned dumbfounded at the blonde below her, lying flat on the ground knocked out.

"What?" Innocently, Katsumi asks, ignoring the sharp sting of guilt eating away at her.

"Why did you do that?" Angrily, Tai demands from Katsumi.

"He was asking for besides it's fine I didn't hit the money maker." Frowning, Katsumi argues sighing gesturing to his face.

"Urgh come on let's take him back over to mine." Mad, Tai huffs, picking up Monika.

"Are you sure we can't leave him on the curb? His fans would be happy to have him." Katsumi offers hesitating.

"Katsumi!" Sharply, Tai snaps at her making her groan.

"Fine, fine you're no fun…" Disappointed, Katsumi sighs shaking her head as she reluctantly picks up Hawks, her eye twitching when he nuzzles, nestling into her chest making her ruby red twitch, dropping him to the ground.

"Katsumi!" Sternly, Fatgum snaps scowling at her staring down at the bloodied blonde seeing the swirls in his eyes.

"He's awake Tai!" Bitterly, Katsumi snaps making Fatgum sigh, placing Monika down.

"Fine I'll hold him now come on." Annoyed, Tai sighs exasperated at his friend as he picks Hawks up while she holds Monika bridal style for the group to leave, heading back to his place.

"Right he should be alright now." Tai sighs placing his hands on his hips staring down at the groaning blonde slumped on the sofa while Katsumi stands besides the bathroom, leant against the wall, her arms crossed hearing the heaving of Monika spewing her insides out.

"Great…" Katsumi rolls her eyes, her brow furrowed frowning down at the beaten blonde before her, sleeping soundly. Tai removes his headphones and glasses, a crack on the lenses making Katsumi furrow her brow at the sunglasses.

"Katsumi show some enthusiasm." Tiredly, Tai sighs shaking his head at her as she looks over into the bathroom, peering in to see Monika spewing her insides out. Katsumi makes her way over to the kitchen, kneeling down to the fridge taking some bottled water. She then returns to the bathroom, offering the bottle to Monika, feeling the sharp snatch as Monika downs the bottle, slurring scuttle sounds making Katsumi furrow her brow at the reaction.

"Yay the person who stalks me is alive I am so happy." Huffing, Katsumi claps her hands together, sauntering her way over to Tai once Monika has been taken over becoming best friends with the toilet no doubt looking ready to sleep on the toilet as Katsumi sneers scowling down at the sight of the sleeping Hawks.

"Look I'm sure he doesn't want to stalk you." Peacefully, Tai argues as he enters the kitchen taking out some leftovers some carbs or something, he heats it up as Katsumi sits down on the other side of the table as he fixes up some food for the two, placing it down on the tabletop.

"He doesn't act like it. He's like a fly pestering around waiting for me to die so he can feast upon my corpse." Coldly, Katsumi states intensely as she places the knife and fork down for the two, beginning to eat, hoping it can sober them up at the least.

"Aren't you being a bit dramatic?" Tai arches a brow bemused by her intensity noting the waves upon waves of intensity exude out of her.

"Aren't you being a bit under dramatic?" Huffing, Katsumi grumbles glaring to the side scowling pouting almost making Tai snicker, smirking at the sight, noting the heavy hue of ruby red tinting her cheeks.

"Yeah you're drunk." Tai nods his head, he knew the sort of drunk Katsumi could be he was one of the rare few who could be granted the ache of seeing a drunk Katsumi. He had seen it during her internship when she became twenty he insisted they celebrate go out drinking. It was hilarious she was a hard one to get drunk, if she were challenged to staying sober race or something she'd win out of the sheer willpower to stay sober. But if she was in a mood, the girl could drink dozens, gallons of the stuff and not be drunk one bit she was far from a lightweight when it came to it.

It was experience he saw it as a good one, a good way for the two to talk openly with one another while she feared it made her weak, he understood her more. He thought it brought them closer together.

"I ain't fwicking drunk…" Drunkenly, Katsumi grumbles planting her face down on the table, a faint glassy tint to her ruby reds making Tai's gold soften sadly at the woman opposite him. He had remembered a few having dared to challenge her to a drinking contest many of them she had won but when it came to him, that was the first time she lost and he knew he had to take care of her especially when the tears came. Drunk Katsumi was a whirlwind one moment she's be silent like eerie silent like she could go behind someone and shank them but then when you spoke to her she'd ramble about stress, work stuff, she was vulnerable in this state you could say then the waterworks would come along her sprouting about how she'll die alone cause no one wants…Tai grimaces at the memory at the dark place she would go where he would drag her out of the bar. He believed that was why she never usually drank so much, out of fear of exposing herself like that. He had an inkling she knew the crap she said during her first-ever hangover when she apologised if she said any stupid crap, he didn't think it was crap but he could tell it was affecting her while she saw it as a horrible time he saw it as the best time of his life.

"Look just think about he's a person, with his own life he's a kid at that, he was brought into this longer than you younger even imagine how stressful it is to be popular." Gently, Tai walks over to her side placing his hand on her back, rubbing patterns into her back trying to console her when hearing the small shy sniffle emitting from her.

"Ah yes to be loved by thousands the pressures of it all asinine truly." Annoyed, she sneers bitterly, raising her head to place it over her crossed arms.

"Katsumi…" Tai sighs sadly at his friend.

"Urgh that still doesn't give him the right to treat you like shit Tai." Defensively, Katsumi states the fact of the matter, making him sigh he knew how she could be, especially with her friends, he admired that protective side of her. But he feared how much danger she could get herself into just defending him.

"I know that and I appreciate that but have you ever wondered why he does." Sighing, Tai places his hand on her shoulder squeezing her shoulder.

"Cause he's a shitty kid who if things don't go his way he has to take it out on innocent people." Poisonously, she spits back.

"Just think Katsumi." Tiredly, Tai sighs shaking his head at her, exasperation laced in his tone, he knew how stubborn his friend could be but there was a limit to it, there had to be,…

"Urgh wha…the…" Lowly, the groan echoes throughout the apartment as Hawk slowly stands from his seat, opening his eyes as he grabs hold of the top of the sofa, pulling himself up grimacing, wincing when feeling the sharp searing sensation in his aching tense temple. He places his hand over his temple, wincing at the throbbing sensation from his nose, cradling his nose, tasting the faint tinge of iron in his mouth.

"Hey you're awake! Sorry about Katsumi's punch she gets a little protective over her friends." Friendly, Tai beams brightly at the sight of the blonde beaming at him, perking up at Hawks who blinks a fair few times trying to register the pro standing before him.

"Just a little seems like an understatement." Warily, Hawk's eyes narrow, brow further furrowed as he combs his fingertips through his blonde locks tugging at a few stray strands.

"Maybe if you weren't such a prick, I wouldn't have done it." Dryly, Katsumi sneers scowling, glaring from her still seated form furrowing her brow at Hawks.

"Katsumi." Tiredly, Tai sighs slumping his shoulders, exhaustion etched into his tired tone at his friend.

"Just saying how it is." Aloofly, Katsumi shrugs slightly, lazily even as she continues glaring to the side.

"You should pack since you're heading back tomorrow." Tensely, Tai crosses his arms over his chest, scolding Katsumi even who gives the blonde a dirty look, the two sharing a look.

"What are you even doing here?" Fed up, Katsumi stands up from her seat, slamming her hand down on the smooth surface of the table, glaring down at him.

"Katsu!" Tai snaps at her brow furrowed frowning at her, he knew how she could be, he knew how she was, she was the sort to get to the point of the matter, just wanting to pull the band aid off rather than peel it off.

"Came to make sure you came back." Hawks sits on the sofa, craning his neck from side to side hearing the crisp crunch of bone before arising from his seat stretching slightly as he turns towards Katsumi, seeing her sharp glare. He crosses his arms over his chest as she does the same seething.

"So the commission sent you." Coldly, Katsumi sneers.

"Something like that." Hawks remarks.

"Katsu come on just go pack yeah?" Tai sighs crossing his arms over his chest.

"Fine." Katsumi sighs making her way into the back.

"Sorry about her she isn't exactly the friendliest person to be around." Shyly, Tai smiles softly at Hawks once Katsumi leaves.

"Don't I know it, still sorry about what I said back there don't know what got over me." Hawks sighs shaking his head.

"It's fine. Sorry about Katsumi if the commission are annoyed at her for leaving then I'll take responsibility." Tai sighs furrowing his brow being serious about it.

"What?" Hawks blurts out.

"I asked for her help I didn't know she was partnering up with you and Endeavour. I needed a brawler since I was out of commission, and she came to mind." Sighing, Tai scratches the back of his head combing his fingertips through the back of his hair.

"You…you're close to her?" Hawks furrows his brow.

"Me and Katsu yeah we worked under the same mentor, he was a good hero shame what happened to him." Sadly, Fatgum furrows his brow at the memory.

"You mean with his negligence in Katsumi losing her arm." Hawk's gold narrow.

"Hey, no one knew that was going to happen okay? If the boss knew he would have stopped it." Fatgum states.

"Couldn't he have with his quirk?" Hawks counters coolly.

"And push himself to having a brain seizure look Hawks you weren't there you didn't see it like we did we were all tired, knackered we barely stood…" Scowling, Fatgum furrows his brow at the memory, it was a dark day.

"…" Silently, Hawks stares seeing the clear frustration from Fatgum scowling at the memory. He didn't really know much on the day the villain attack was big but…

"Look Hawks I don't want to argue with you. But Katsumi is my friend now tell me did you come here because of the commission or not." Impatiently, Tai demands from him.

"Well…I knew if I didn't get her back the commission would take notice…" Hawks sighs.

"Right…do you like Katsumi?" Tai asks.

"…I don't see what that has to do with you." Hawks furrows his brow.

"She's my friend okay and I just…I don't want to see her get hurt she's been through enough as it is. And if you are playing with her…" Sternly, Fatgum tries to warn him making him smirk.

"And if I am…?" Amused, Hawks crosses his arms over his chest.

"You wouldn't want to do that. Katsumi may be scarier but trust me when I tell you, she isn't the only one who can make your life a living hell pro or not…" Fatgum tells Hawks.

"Now that doesn't sound very hero like does it." Hawks teases.

"Look I don't want to fight you Hawks but Katsu is very important to me, her happiness comes first for me. Still this whole bad guy talk thing is only making me hungry. But still I should thank you." Fatgum smiles soft.

"Thank me?" Hawks blinks baffled.

"For looking out for her what you said about the commission, from what I've seen you've been more than just keeping an eye on her…" Teasingly, Tai winks.

"…" Silently, Hawks stares brow furrowed.

"Katsumi isn't the sort who sees someone for their gain, for their status she sees them for the person. The reason Katsumi doesn't like you is because she fears you're acting like the hero Hawks and not just Hawks. If you want to be her friend you have to be real with her, show her you're more than just a hero." Tai tells him.

"…Why are you helping me?" Hawks queries.

"Because I can clearly see someone who is lonely." Fatgum smirks smugly.

"Lonely?" Hawks flinches from his words.

"Your eyes…despite you having the whole world loving you I can see you're a rather lonely person. Katsu was the same, she's the sort to have a friend first before any form of relationship…" Tai informs Hawks going silent from his words.

"…Thanks. I still don't get why you're helping me…" Hawks brushes him off.

"Maybe it's cause I don't want Katsu to be lonely where she is. It's rare for us to meet up like this so to know she has someone she can rely on outside her sidekicks relieves me…" Tai confesses.

"…You really are a hero." Hawks smirks.

"Heh…thanks." Tai bows his head sheepishly smiling.

"The fuck are you two talking about?" Annoyed, the curt voice of Katsumi arrives, duffle bag in hand.

"And speak of the devil and she comes strutting in…" Amused, Hawks smirks smugly, leaning into the plush pillow of his gloved hand, warmly welcoming the fiery figure of the scowling Katsumi.

"I ain't no devil dumbass." Fed up, Katsumi snaps scowling adjusting the strap of her duffle bag, exasperation etched into her fatigued facial features, furrowing her brow as she glares at the two before her.

"Nah maybe an angel?" Mischievously, Hawks offers wiggling a brow bemused.

"I'm neither. Now how about you get your heads out of the clouds for once." Annoyed, she slams her duffle bag down on the smooth surface of the table.

"And miss seeing you from the skies no never." Hawks chuckles amused almost as he leans into the plush pillow of his glove winking.

"Urgh…" Katsumi groans rolling her eyes exasperated disgust drenched in her tired tone, not having the patience to deal with him.

"What's that Monika? We run out of water I'll go get you some!" Surprised, she jolts up at Tai's voice as he shoots up, perking up as he turns and after shouting flees from the apartment.

"Wait…what!? Tai!" Angrily, Katsumi calls out brow furrowed frowning at the blonde blur bursting out of the apartment.

"Well that was smooth." Sarcastically, Hawks notes.

"No shit. Tch, That bastard he has a damn tap." Grumpily, Katsumi huffs as she then turns to glare at hawks, leaning over to much on the food left behind.

"So what you get?" Curious, Hawks asks leaning back in his seat munching on some food from Tai's plate.

"Stuff." Scowling, Katsumi sneers glaring daggers down at him.

"Ooh I love stuff." Smirking, Hawks jokes chuckling under his breath.

"And I'd love for you to leave guess only one of us is getting what we want." Bitterly, Katsumi huffs sitting down opposite Hawks seeing him eye the plate making her groan shoving said plate forward for Hawks, seeing his hues shimmer, shine, his gold gleaming glisten. She notes the shy stream of salvia descend down his lips making her grimace in disgust at the sight.

"Look Katsu I'm sorry." Hawks sighs after taking a few spoonful's of the food.

"It's not me who you should apologise to." Irritated, Katsumi snaps scowling, crossing her arms over her chest, a part of her feeling the sharp sting in her chest, feeling the knot of guilt be tugged at when seeing his cracked lenses which he takes note of, his brow furrowed looking over at the damage done to his shades.

"I know I apologised to Fatgum." Hawks huffs leaning back in his seat.

"Sometimes that guy can be waay to forgiving." Grumbling, Katsumi combs her fingertips through her hair, tugging at a few stray strands of brunette.

"To be honest I was surprised he even accepted it." Honestly, Hawks confesses leaning further back in his seat as a part of Katsumi ponders if he'll come crashing down, hitting the hard floor.

"Like I said he can be waay to nice for his own good." Huffing, Katsumi mutters crossing her arms over her chest in disapproval.

"So…how long have you known him?" Hawks wiggles a brow curious.

"Since I started working at the agency in U.A for experience and stuff." Sighing, Katsumi says.

"You worked for the sadistic surgeon didn't you?" Hawks points out making Katsumi's raw reds narrow at the tittle.

"His hero name is…was Saviour surgeon." Pained, Katsumi corrects herself sadly.

"Yeah…sorry." Hawks glances to the side apologetic.

"…" Silently, Katsumi sighs not quite sure what to say until bowing her head.

"I…I'm sorry." Katsumi sighs scratching the back of her head.

"H-HUH?!" Hawks gawks as Katsumi turns her eyes widening when seeing Hawks lean too back, falling flat to the ground groaning.

"You okay?" Katsumi rushes over to Hawk's side helping him up as he groans cradling his head once more.

"Y-Yeah I'm…I'm fine." Feebly, Hawks tries to brush it off with a strained smile, one he used many times on folks but it didn't get past the eagle eyes of Katsumi.

"That black eye begs to differ." Sighing, Katsumi reaches to the fridge, taking out a bag of peas, placing it on Hawk's face when he returns. He hisses briefly by the coldness but adjusts, a faint heavy hue in his cheeks when his gold gaze into her raw reds, dilating at the sight. He didn't know what it was about those eyes, those raw reds, as red as his feathers even but…

"Just keep that there." Katsumi's voice snaps Hawks out of his thoughts as he feels her hands remove themselves from him, making him grumble slightly, feeling the sharp sting of disappointment having leant into the touch. But he brushes the thought aside, looking down at the table before him and sighing.

" I…I do want to get to know you." Hawks confesses smiling sheepish before bowing his head feigning shyness making Katsumi arching a brow taken aback.

"Then why act out like this? Why act like some child?" Fed up, Katsumi argues annoyed.

"Because I just seeing you with him just made me annoyed." Childishly, Hawks sighs scratching the back of his neck.

"Tai is my friend Hawks he will always be my friends I have tons of friends who are boys you need to accept that. It shouldn't bother you anyway I mean Miriko is your friend and she's female." Frowning, Katsumi points out scolding him almost.

"Oh and you know that?" Hawks scoffs scowling.

"I heard you two were a thing." Confused, Katsumi shrugs.

"Do I detect jealousy?" Giddily, Hawks wiggles a brow bemused.

"You wish…" Katsumi scoffs turning her head to the side.

"…" Silently, Hawks stares at Katsumi slamming her duffle bag on the table.

"Nah." Hawks smiles sadly down at the floor.

"Huh?" Katsumi perks up perplexed turning to look at him confused.

"Me and Miriko we're just friends just like you and Fatgum I'm sorry I just…I do want to be your friend but I feel like you don't respect me." Hawks sighs stating the fact of the matter.

"Of course I don't." Bluntly, Katsumi deadpans.

"Huh?" Hawks blinks baffled.

"I respect no one." Katsumi scowls.

"Oh…" Hawks bows his head dejected making Katsumi sigh.

"Looks Hawks I am willing to start a new leaf we are going to be working with each other after all but…" Sighing, Katsumi places her hand on her temple, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"But what?" Hawks presses perplexed.

"You need to calm down, take a step back you're trying waay to much to be my friend ." Firmly, Katsumi deadpans.

"There is a reason they call me too fast for my own good." Pained, Hawks smiles.

"Didn't you tell me once you wanted to make a world where heroes could relax?" Katsumi argues.

"There's so much I have to do though as number 2 before that can happen." Hawks states.

"Hawks…I understand your need to do so but pushing yourself to such things isn't going to accomplish what you want. Look friendships take time I don't care about you being a hero. I don't want to know the hero Hawks I want to know you…" Tiredly, Katsumi answers.

"…Me?" Hawks blinks, a part of him freezing from the questions.

"I'm not asking for your backstory or anything like that. I don't expect anything like that all I want is to meet the guy under the glasses." Quickly, Katsumi corrects herself making Hawks gold expand from her words.

"And…?" Shyly, he places his hand on the table.

"And?" Confused, Katsumi notes him drawing patterns on the tabletop with his forefinger.

"What do you think of him so far?" Frowning, he questions, his nail scraping against the table.

"…Well…he's a brat." Bluntly, Katsumi begins just as she hears the sharp scrape below.

"Gee thanks." Tensely, Hawks mutters as Katsumi notes the indent in the table.

"Let me finish. He's a brat, he t but…he can be sweet. He tries waay to hard at things but it can be rather endearing sometimes whether it be with his feathers puffing up or the way he stuffs his face full of chicken going on and on praising the heavens above over some lowly chicken." Content, a small soft smirk crosses Katsumi's lips closing her eyes peacefully unaware of Hawks hues widening when hearing his words.

"It was good chicken." Curtly, he whispers, blinking back the faint shine in his gleaming golds.

"That's the guy I want to know. Not the one flying high in the sky fighting villains I want to know the guy slouching on my sofa, feathers littered all over the place, stuffing his face full of chicken he magically creates." Chuckling, Katsumi recalls as Hawk simply stares stunned.

"It's a superpower." Softly, he whispers, his voice cracking briefly before he composes himself.

"I'm sure…either way that's the guy I want to know and if you want to know me then I'd be happy if we could to get each other…what do you say?" Softly, Katsumi smiles offering her hand out to him.

"I'd…I'd like that." Tentatively, he smiles sliding his hand over hers, shaking it, the two smiling finally relieved to have come to this state of understanding.

"I said I'm not-" Hawks begins irritated just as the door slams open to…

"I'm baaack!" Happily, Tai calls out beaming brightly smiling wildly.

"Welcome back?" Hawks arches a brow befuddled.

"Things good?" Tai asks hopeful.

"I believe them to be. Hawks?" Naturally, Katsumi looks up at Hawks.

"Yeah…" Hawks trails off bowing his head.

"Great I brought Takoyaki!" Tai slams the bag down on the table.

"Hell yeah! Now that's more like it!" Happily, Hawks digs in making Katsumi sigh shaking her head at the morons digging in before heading off, Hawks following her as they head back home…

*What do you think of Katsumi and Hawks now? Their dynamic? Would love to know! Someone said how Hawks x Katsumi gave them President Mic and Aizawa vibes what do you think?*
