Sheep Shield: A small shield made entirely of fluffy wool. It can unleash tiny sheep made entirely of wool that move by bouncing along cutely, and they cling to people, objects, and especially weapons, making them very soft and almost completely negating their damage potential, (and this includes both natural weapons like claws, fists, and teeth, and artificial weapons like spears, swords, and bows.) It can also encase people in a giant ball of wool. The wool can be very hard to remove until the effects wear off, unless you either set it on fire, soak it in soapy water, or blast it off with magic, so it can easily render weapons useless in battle. Requirements: Wool freshly sheered from a sheep.
.
Rabbit Shield: A small shield that looks like a rabbit and drastically boosts the user's speed and agility. Requirements: Rabbit's feet.
.
Bull Shield: This shield looks like a bull's head, complete with the horns, and has a powerful charge attack that creates a bull made of energy, similar to the Air Strike Shield's attack, that hits with the force of a real angry bull. Requirements: Bull horns.
.
Cow Shield: A leather shield with a cow skin pattern on it. It comes with a spell that can summon and drop a cow on targets. Requirements: Milk fresh from a cow, and an earthworm. (Bonus points if you get the reference.)
.
Spider Shield: A small buckler with a large spider figure on it that has the power to shoot spiderwebs, just like Spider-Man. The upgraded version features a second one for dual wielding and increased web options. Requirements: A lot of spiderwebs. (Second one needs giant spider remains.)
.
Hive Shield: A shield with a honeycomb pattern that can unleash swarms of angry hornets or bees. Requirements: A hive of hornets or bees.
.
Arena Summoning Shield: This rectangular shield uses a pyramid shaped protrusion to summon an arena of the user's choice, where an agreed upon duel will take place. Only those entered in the duel can take part in it, it automatically prevents anyone else from getting involved, including preventing magic attacks from getting through and striking down anyone who pushes their luck, it judges all matches fairly, announces winners, and once summoned the arena will stay until after the match ends, regardless of what shields he switches to, or his physical state. Requirements: DLC.
.
Storage Shield: A small rectangular shield that grants access to hammer space, letting the user store limitless amounts of anything, and letting him easily pull it out when he wants it. Requirements: DLC.

And now here's a little something to help demonstrate those shields.
Shield vs Spear Duel Special.
.
The evil douchebag king, the most annoying bitch princess ever, and the retarded asshole Spear hero kidnapped Raphtalia, and forced Naofumi into an obviously unfair duel. They thought that because he had no way to attack, Naofumi had no way to win.
Little did they know he had a plan to counter the spear and win the duel, thanks to a few new shields he unlocked. Most of which were done while helping some friendly farmers with their chores.
"The duel between the Spear hero and the Shield hero will now begin. This duel will end only when one of the combatants is backed into a corner, or admits that he has been defeated."
The Spear hero Motoyasu and the Shield hero Naofumi entered the arena.
"This duel will take place in the presence of King Melromarc, and the Pope. And it is thus legitimate, and official."
The bitch Malty cheered Motoyasu on from inside the fighting area, where she could easily interfere by attacking Naofumi while he was preoccupied with Motoyasu. Not willing to let that happen, Naofumi prepped a rectangular shield with a pyramid shaped protrusion. His Arena Summoning shield.
"Arena Summoning!" Naofumi yelled as the pyramid was launched into the air. "Terrain: Sharp rocks!"
What looked like lasers fired from its corners to carve out a select area. They went at straight angles at first, but then each one branched into two parts, one kept going straight, and the other turned and dropped straight down. Then they what looked like a forcefield came down to cover the marked off inner area, and then the marked off outer area.
"What is this?!"
Then the inner area transformed into a rocky area, the forcefields became so clear they were practically invisible, and a dark, yet angelic figure appeared.
"This is where we'll be duelling," said Naofumi. "I'm not gonna let you cheat your way through this. This match will be done fairly. Or at least as fairly as can be, considering you scumbags forced me into this and have been sabotaging me from the start. This arena will keep everyone else out, and the referee will have the final say in everything."
"You're cheating!"
"No, I'm just keeping you from cheating. If you can't live up to all your bragging, then just give up, forfeit the duel, give back Raphtalia, and save yourself some pain and humiliation."
"There's no way I'm backing down! All you have is a shield! I'll beat you with ease!"
"The duel between the Shield hero and the Spear hero has been agreed upon. It will be one-on-one with no outside interference. Combatants, state what is at stake."
"When I win, Raphtalia will be freed from his evil clutches!"
"When I win, Raphtalia will be returned to me, and I will receive one third of the wealth of everyone in the stadium who's an enemy of the Shield."
"No way!"
The entire kingdom was an enemy of the Shield, due to the king and the Church of the Three Heroes, so of course he wouldn't have a single ally there. The crowd became outraged and objected to it, including the king and the pope. Prior to that moment they were able to humiliate the Shield Hero and make him suffer at no risk whatsoever to themselves, but now apparently one third of their wealth was at stake.
"Take it, or give up and return the girl!"
"You're just trying to make me chicken out because you know you can't win! It won't work! I'm not backing down!"
"The terms have been agreed upon, and the duel will now commence!"
They entered the arena and readied themselves. Motoyasu transformed his spear, giving it a bigger tip and adding a couple axe blades to it, while Naofumi transformed his shield into what looked like a fluffy rabbit.
"Begin!"
A bell rang and the two men charged. Naofumi appeared in front of Motoyasu, who quickly thrust his spear into him. But Naofumi evaded that with ease. Motoyasu launched a barrage of attacks, but Naofumi dodged them all. Then he jumped and landed gracefully on the spear's shaft, knocking Motoyasu off balance, then he used the back of his head as a spring board and sent him face first into a sharp rock.
"AAAAHH!"
Motoyasu screamed as his face was cut open.
"Cheating bastard!"
The crowd loudly agreed with that.
"This is a fight you idiot! And one that you jerks forced me into in the first place. How am I cheating?"
"You're not fighting like a man, and you rigged the arena against me!"
"That's not cheating, that's just basic strategy. The arena's not rigged, I just picked something that'd give me an edge. And your assumption that I wouldn't employ any kind of strategy or put up a fight and instead stand there and take a beating before giving up, was just extreme stupidity. If you were even close to being normal in your old world, then it must be the most retarded dimension of them all."
"Bastard!"
Motoyasu got up and wiped the blood off. Then froze as he noticed the herd of tiny sheep bouncing around everywhere. While they were talking, Naofumi switched from the Rabbit shield to the Sheep shield, which was a small shield made entirely of fluffy wool, then started unleashing tiny sheep one after another, that were made entirely of wool and moved by bouncing along in a rather cute manner.
"What's this?"
"You kidnapped the only backup I had, so now I'm calling in some more."
"There's no way these pathetic little things can hurt me!"
They suddenly changed direction and went straight for him. He stabbed them, but to his surprise he felt almost no resistance, and the balls of fluff just stuck to his spear. Then more of jumped onto him, a couple went straight for his hands, and he couldn't get them off.
"What the hell are these things?"
"They're nothing but wool. You were right when you said they can't hurt you."
Motoyasu leapt forth and thrust his spear into Naofumi's chest with all his might. But it just bounced off without putting so much as a scratch on him. He followed up with a punch to the face, but that also bounced off and did nothing.
"But that's not the point. They cling to you and your weapons, making them very soft and almost completely negating your attack power. So as long as they're stuck on there, you're no longer the Spear Hero. You're a rejected mascot for Q-tips!"
"Bastard!" Motoyasu yelled as he struggled to get the wool off, only to find he couldn't, as it was firmly stuck on.
Naofumi switched to his Bull Shield. A shield that looked like a bull's head, complete with the horns, and had an attack that created a bull made of energy, similar to the Air Strike Shield's attack, that could hit with the force of a real, very angry bull. Motoyasu was sent into the air, and narrowly avoided getting impaled when he came crashing down.
He coughed up blood, but climbed to his feet.
"Chaos Spear!"
He fired an attack spell and blasted away the wool on his spear. As he paused to catch his breath, he started getting covered in spiderwebs. He looked up to see Naofumi with a small buckler that had a large spider figure on it, that was shooting out spiderwebs, just like Spider-Man. He tried getting them off, but was trapped and immobilized before he had a chance.
"Ready to give up yet?"
"Never!"
"Glad to hear it," said Naofumi as he summoned a shield with a honeycomb pattern. He then unleash a swarm of angry hornets.
The princess Malty called over some soldiers to help her enter the ring and interfere with the duel, but they were stopped cold by the forcefields, and got struck by lightning for the attempt.
Motoyasu screamed in pain as he was stung repeatedly.
"I Quit! I Quit!"
A bell sounded.
"The match is now officially over! Winner: The Shield Hero, Naofumi!"
The crowd went into a furious uproar. The king drew his blade and turned it on Raphtalia.
"I refuse to accept this! That Shield Devil will not get a single coin for this atrocity, and that filthy, verminous, slave whore will die here and now!"
But before he could strike, Raphtalia vanished in a glow and reappeared beside Naofumi. He then untied her and she threw her arms around his neck in a loving and grateful embrace, and thanked him wholeheartedly. The Naofumi switched to a small rectangular shield that granted him access to hammer space, the Storage Shield. He activated it just in time to catch the money he'd won. One third of the wealth of everyone in the arena, which was full of the richest men in the kingdom. Naofumi became the richest guy there, and they were unable to stop it.
And with that, the arena vanished. The king wasted no time ordering his men to seize the Shield Hero. A group of armed soldiers charged at him, and were promptly encased in a giant fluffy ball of wool.
Malty and Motoyasu got up and began calling out Naofumi on his cheating, thieving antics. But then Raphtalia stepped up to stand up for him with a big lecture. (It's pretty much the same one she used in the show, so I'll skip it.) Malty tried attacking her for it, but Raphtalia crushed her with ease. The king tried getting the Sword and Bow heroes to take down the Shield, but they refused. Naofumi had won fair and square, the conditions were ones they agreed to, it couldn't have been more clear that Raphtalia wanted to stay with him, and most importantly, Malty tried to interfere and cheat to ensure Motoyasu would win, while the king and pope tried going back on their word, proving that their honour and integrity meant nothing to them. As the king and pope tried to make up some excuses to counter that, Naofumi rolled the giant ball of wool onto Malty and Motoyasu, switched to a leather shield with a cow skin pattern on it, and suddenly the king and Pope were both crushed by a falling cow that came outta nowhere.
"Listen up! You're all worthless shits that shouldn't be allowed to live in any world. You disgust me! You also need to realize when to accept that you've been beaten. And Moronyasu, if you were even a hundred miles within being the hero you claim to be, you'd use that as motivation to get stronger," said Naofumi, as he set the giant ball of wool on fire. "As for me. I'm taking Raphtalia, and I'm taking my winnings, and I'm going to Disneyland! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!"
Then Naofumi and Raphtalia took off outta there.
